Planning a vacation to the area, my sister and I decided to get our first tattoos, along with my best friend. I had called a couple of places in the area and was highly disappointed with the information I was getting and the way I was treated on the phone, like I was a bother, until I called Gypsy Moon! These people were amazing! They made me feel important and alleviated my fears about getting a tattoo. In fact, after my phone call here to ask questions, I didnt even bother calling anyone else. I was convinced that this was the place I wanted to go to.I called my sister and best friend, they agreed with my assessment and told me to go ahead and book the appointments, which I did immediately.I then sent in a photo of the tattoo my best friend and I wanted to get. I got a response the next day, I believe it was, stating that they could do the tattoo, as well as a rough estimate on the price of it.Once there, we picked out the size we wanted for our tattoos and the artist was great! I really wish I could remember her name to give her a proper shout out, but she was amazing! Im a bit loud and boisterous and very opinionated and she was funny and nice and tried her best to calm my anxieties. She did amazing work as well and in a fairly quick time. The prices were very reasonable and they even called around to local steakhouses to ask questions for us. I also bought an amazing T-shirt at a great price from them.Overall, they went above and beyond to make my first tattoo experience a memorable one and to make me feel like a valued customer. I am so very appreciative! Thank you!

I went for my birthday. We had to make an appt due to COVID but it was worth the wait!! I actually got my first tattoo done here 15 years ago and like fine wine they have done nothing but improve with age check out my pictures!! The artist was funny N did awesome work. Very relaxed environment!

Went to get a helix piercing and was nervous about it since it was my first one. But that nervousness was for nothing as the piercer was very informative and professional. It did not hurt like I was expecting it to and I plan to go back for future piercings (and tattoos! While I havent gotten one here yet, I have seen their work and think it looks so wonderful).

Ive gotten a septum piercing from here before and today i just got a eyebrow piercing, and i have no regrets this place is amazing and i’m really happy with my piercings. They told me how to clean both piercings to keep them healthy and clean and i can overall say that this place is the best I’ve been to (hopefully i can get a tattoo from there soon🙏)

Went for a very basic cross tattoo...no detail just two straight lines...was able to get the tattoo done without an appointment or wait (should have been a warning)...pricing was responsible...however the actual tattoo was horrible...the lines were crooked and very thin...the shop offers free touch ups for life but no touch up could fix the thin lines thst appear to belong to a nervous but more than likely inexperienced artist... tattoo faded within weeks of application...ended up having to get it fixed elsewhere

Very friendly staff. A very laid back vibe. Andy took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and asked questions to fill in the blanks. I was very satisfied with the service and the product. We also had a great conversation! Some of the stuff hanging on the wall being a few Snickers to my 11 year old but hey, its a tattoo establishment I dont expect any less. Fair price

Great shop. Got my first tattoo done there on my birthday and the person who did it was very friendly . It was a rib peice and he was very understanding and let me take as many breaks as I needed. Offered great conversation during my experience and did beautiful work. the shop is very clean and very nicely set up. Most importantly, the prices are outstanding. I have most definitely found my permanent tattoo artist. I wont be going anywhere else.

My best friend Susan Gravely works here and she is the best tattoo artist in surry co. If u want ur tattoo to be the best u have to get it done by the best. Keep up the awesome work. She is the only person I will ever let tattoo me for life.

I’ve gone here for a year now with issues with my piercing and the piercer here has been so kind to help me. Today she did a repiercing for me and she did it so quickly and efficiently. She was also super friendly which made the experience enjoyable. I highly recommend this place!

I was in and out with a belly piercing, i was nervous going in but once i laid down it was easy. this was my second time getting my belly pierced and it somehow hurt less when she did it. it’s sore ofc but it’s straight and cute. i love it.

Wonderful work! Andy listened to what I wanted for my celebration of life tatoo, and worked so hard to create the perfect design. The staff are so friendly, and welcoming to everyone who comes through the doors.

Great for piercings quick and easy!

Its been a couple of years since I had a cover up done. Was a little disappointed as tattoo artist told me she could do 2 red roses & make one lighter than the other. Said she could add a little white in with one but they are both the same color.She shouldnt have told me she could do something & not do it or possibly couldnt do it. I felt like she told me false information to get my business.

Just had a piece done yesterday and Im loving it!! These ladies are the best, great service, wonderful staff! The work they do is amazing!!! Keep up the good work!!

I had my Daith pierced on both sides !! I have suffered from Migraines all my life so I am ready to try something new !! I really hope this works.... will update later !!Well I am updating now it has been a long time now. It definitely works for me! I hardly ever have a Migraine anymore!! I highly recommend the Daith piercing!!
