Went for a complete redo of a tattoo originally done by a different studio...appointment was made in a reasonable time frame... the tattoo turned out amazing, exactly how I originally wanted it to be...the artist was friendly and very knowledgeable and confident...i never for a second questioned her ability despite negative past experience from original studio... the atmosphere was up beat and professional...pricing was competitive and very fair...highly recommend to anyone seeking a quality work of art...

I took my daughter here to get snake bites, and I got a septum piercing, Courtney was great! She was professional and informative, and she made the experience comfortable and fun! Highly recommend her for piercings

Chris did phenomenal with my first tattoo. I walked in not knowing what I wanted. He squeezed me in within an hour and a half and was done in about 45 minutes. He talked me through the treatment process and the tattoo is still so dark and perfect! Thank you so much. Will be coming back.

I have 2 tattoos from Shelly the owner. Always a great experience. She’s a true artist and likes doing custom tattoos. I tried going somewhere else and had a horrible experience with just the design phase. Shelly will listen and give constructive criticism if needed which always results in the best quality experience and tattoo design.

Me, my mom and my sister walked in and got our first tattoo together and ever since we have all been back to get multiple tattoos! They are all super friendly and very talented! I had my very first tattoo done by Shelley. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. She started out sow so I could get accustomed to the process. She did such a fantastic job that I think I dozed off for a bit! She explained all the after care recommendations that I would need to follow for the best results. I left knowing that I was going to end up with a beautiful tattoo for years to come! I am definitely going back for more!

I’ve come here both times for my piercings and I have recommended them to my friends that have come here as well to get their piercings. Shelby did one and I can’t remember the other ones name but she did an amazing job as well. They both answered all of my questions and made me less nervous for my septum and the one on the side of my nose. They are very hygienic I will say as well. Love the environment there and asethetics of it.Also I’ve had friends that have gotten their l tattoos done here by Shelby and they look amazing.

Courtney was absolutely amazing. She was patient and thoughtful when it came to placement of my lip piercing. She was overly patient with my daughter when she was getting her septum pierced. She talked to her throughout the process and was very much aware and sympathetic of the pain she was going thru. I would highly recommend this establishment and only have praise for Courtney!!!

Great atmosphere!!! Absolutely love all the work my husband and I have both gotten from Chris!!!! Seen a lot of work done by others there as well and it’s always beautiful! I get tons of compliments regularly on my art work and I always tell the people to head to stainless studios for their amazing artists!!!

Got this done a few years ago by Shelley! She was absolutely fantastic! I loved how she took the time to help me come up with the design. Blew me away when she pulled out a marker and just started drawing the design on my arm! Definitely will be getting my next tribal tat from here!10/10

This is probably the best tattoo shop around in Mount Airy. It’s very clean and I love the aesthetic in the shop. You can’t find quality work everywhere, but this is definitely where it starts! All of the artists are extremely talented and charismatic, not to mention the piercer is super kind and professional. Love this place!

Great atmosphere very kind friendly staff highly recommend Brian he was very awesome to work with all the way through and really puts his all into his work. I went in there a few days ago to get my nostril pierced the lady who did it was very kind and great with me bc it was my first nose piercing. Price was good as well.

Came out, in the rain and Im a cab because I was told to be there today at that time. Only when I arrived, their piercer doesnt do those kinds of piercings...facial ones. Any piercer that doesnt do facial piercings isnt worth the needless she/he uses. Not to mention that I had dermal done some Minnehaha ago. One popped out due to not being done correctly. Avoid this place at all costs! They are not good at running a professional place!

Courtney has done 3 piercings for me and I will go back again for the rest of them. She is very nice and sweet. I would recommend her to everyone.

My experience with stainless steel was one of the best they do such a great job and friend and nice people.. The environment is very relaxing and you feel so comfortable.. Also piecing is a wow I’ve done so many and they were all almost quick and painless.. I would recommend anyone to go here they are one of the best in town..

Clean establishment and friendly staff. I will say the tattoo I had done was top quality. The only thing was the price switching. Originally I was told it would be $80. I reaffirmed they understood it would be on my calf and be a decent size. I was told it may be a little more. After my tattoo was completed I was told it would be $140 which is almost double. The work was worth the price however I was irritated on being told such a dramatic difference in price. I paid and didn’t say much about it until I noticed my card that I paid with was over charged it wasn’t massive but it was more than $140. I tipped in cash so this wasn’t the reason for the increase. I think the studio is a nice place and the my do good work just be cautionary on what they tell you for price and what they charge your card.

If your looking to get a tattoo or piercing This is your go to place. Everyone here is so friendly and everything is clean. The envirythere just makes it so welcoming. And I love my chest piece in remembrance of my dad. Full chest pc of an eagle with wings open that says FREE BIRD. I am ready for my PC for remembrance of my mom next

Took my girls one for a 2nd ear piercing and the other for a nose piercing. They had a wonderful experience and love their piercings. Highly Recommend.

Went to Shelley for a daith piercing after someone recommended her to me. I drove from an hour away to get there. When I walked in, the guy at the front desk was super nice. I saw a whole family sitting on one of the couches, which I thought was odd. It left us to stand by the window and wait. Finally a woman gets up from the couch and goes to the back. I get called back for my piercing. Shelley was the woman sitting on the couch with her family. She was very unfriendly like I was bothering her. She wasn’t going to tell me anything about the equipment she was using until I asked. She used a straight needle and then put a curved barbell in. The curved barbell is facing the wrong way and is way too long. It is curved in toward my ear canal instead of outward. I hope once it heals I’ll be able to replace it with a ring, but I doubt it since it’s curving the wrong way. I’ll probably have to get it repierced. I felt very rushed to get out. Apparently talking to her family was more important. I should have gone to the woman in Winston that did my Tragus piercing instead. I won’t be back at Stainless Studios.
