Had my first tattoo done here. Hands down great experience. Highly recommend Dillon! He was Professional, friendly, down to earth and honest! He is worth the scheduling wait!

Was looking for the best local tattoo shop in Murrysville. Black Armor had the highest reviews so I went with it and could not have been more pleased with my choice. After starting my work in March and having to reschedule my remaining work until the end of May due to unforseen circumstances, I couldnt have felt more at home. I received hugs from the owner, Russ, and my artist, Dillon, when I returned. Everyone is professional, shop is beautiful and clean. No one competes for work, I was asked by Dante what I was looking to get done, and he recommended Dillon for the designs I wanted. Dillon is an amazing tattoo artist and I am in love with the work he did on me. He is patient, open to suggestions and helpful if you are unsure about something. His enthusiasm is contagious. This is my forever tattoo home, I wont be going anywhere else from now on. ❤️❤️❤️

I got my first tattoo done here by Travis. It was a great experience! Very clean place, lots of space, and everyone I came in contact with there was super friendly. 100000% I will return here for more!Also my tattoo is amazing and exceeded my expectations.

I have followed Russ from New Ken to his shop in Plum. Unfortunately never made it to his current shop as his wait list now is pretty long and I moved hours away. He does however do a phenomenal job and his work is flawless. I recommend him to anyone looking to get a tattoo and I myself was recommended to go see him by the lovely Nancy Lou over a decade ago.He has created new pieces for me and also done cover ups and I get the most compliments on the tattoos made by him.

Awesome Tattoo studio. The owner, Russ, is a great guy. He takes pride in his establishment and workers. They do outstanding work. Myself,wife, and 2 kids had family clover tattoos done by Trevor. He does great work and is very personable. Definitely recommend this place!

Black Armour has a good vibe the moment you walk in. The vibes good, the people are good, the place is good and clean, it’s just good. I got my second tattoo and what Matt Miller produced for me with a just a few ideas I sent him was mind boggling! He created an image I saw only in my head and delivered a beautiful piece of art. If you’re looking for an artist, I highly recommend Matt. He’s also just an easy going human being and made me feel comfortable the whole time. I think that’s so important when you’re getting something permanent done to you. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I’ll definitely be back in the future. Can’t recommend it enough!!

Been getting tattoos from Russ(owner) for about four years now. Does amazing work every single time. Always professional. Runs a clean shop. Very welcoming and willing to work with you on what you want. Johnny and Matt also do amazing work and are two of the best in the area.

I LOVE Russ. Ive been driving an hour to his shop for the past few years and its so worth it. His shop is always clean and sterile and he is always welcoming. His art is incredible and he makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I recommend him to all my friends.

Cant ask for a better place to get a tattoo. If I could give more starts I would. Matt is beyond amazing at what he does. Is honest. And very starlight forward with everything thats getting done and needs done. The quality is impeccable. If you have a picture of something, thats what it will be and look like. On top of that, you get to make awesome friends in a cool place where you can watch cool movies and comedy. Thanks to all the guys and girls down there. Wouldnt want to go or do anything different.

I went to this tattoo shop to finally get a new tattoo design i was working on for a while. I gave the design to one of the artists and then he told me it would take about a month before he could draw up a draft. 2 months go by and I went back to check in and find out what was taking so long, I talked to a different guy this time and he said that the artist I talked to apparently forgot that I requested work (even though I paid $50 already). He said he would talk to him and tell him that he needs to draw up my tattoo ASAP (I think this time I was talking to the owner or the manager). About another 3 weeks go by, I stop in again. They still have nothing for me, and this time I talked to the actual artist I talked to the first time, his boss never said anything to him. He assures me he would get back to me in the next week with a draft. Finally I get a text from him with the draft, he didnt really follow the outline that I made where it wasnt super professional but I did have the general concepts there that he completely ignored. I messaged him back and said that it looked good but I wanted a couple of changed, I never heard back from them. This was probably some of the worst customer service I have ever experience, since I paid for literally nothing and it feels like they just stole my money since I had to pay cash. Also having me wait a month for just the first draft is way to long, considering they also forgot. I can get maybe one time me having to check in, but not twice and I decided it was not worth the effort for me to go again, when the artist didnt even follow my guidelines. I would give them a 0/5 if I could.

Russ is THE MAN!!!!! Been getting tattooed by him since 2007. I live an hour from his shop, and the drive is absolutely worth it. I would never even think of going to any other shop, or any other artist, EVER!!!!! Russ is the best in the business PERIOD!!!!! His skills are other worldly, his shop is top notch, and his work speaks for itself. If you want an amazing piece of artwork on your body, look no further than Russ, at his shop, Hybrid Tattoo!!!!!

Russell is tops. Met him when I started my mid-life crisis and have 6+ tattoos now. The detail in his work is great. Will not go to anyone else. In addition his studio is spotlessly clean for those who are sticklers about sanitary conditions and equipment.

I w known Russ for a years now. Although I have never gotten work done by him, I know his work and I can spot it from a mile away on someone. He is definitely one of the best. His shop is extremely clean... almost hospital like. Very nice. They also do tattoo removal for those bad flash tattoos you got when you were 18.

Awesome shop with amazing artists! Matt is my favorite! If youre looking for a place to go get your first or 500th tattoo you have found the right one. Highly recommend 👌

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My artist was Johnny Rae. My daughter designed my tattoo, he engaged her as the artist, had her help select the coloring, which created a memory that will be cherished forever. Thank you so very much, I not only love my tattoo, but I love that you allowed such an incredible experience for us. I will tell everybody about your establishment!
