I had a great experience with Fritz. He is the apprentice at Iron Quill but I am very happy with his talent and skills. He was able to make a design in a few days and it was exactly like I imagined it. I wanted to change a color just slightly and he was open to it and even asked my opinion when he was mixing that specific color. He is very approachable and I felt comfortable immediately with him. He took longer to finish the tattoo which is expected and that just shows that he is willing to do a very good job down to the smallest detail.The wait for the tattoo wasnt long and Im expecting that to change because Fritz has so much potential that I know hell get a large clientele rather quickly. I look forward to going back in the future.I also saw Traviss tattoo on a guy while I was there and it was spectacular and Travis is also very friendly.If youre planning on getting a tattoo and you cant find a good tattoo artist give these guys a call.

The shop is clean and has a super chill vibe. Travis and Steve are both solid artists who will work with whatever design idea youve got to make sure you get the best tattoo possible. Travis has been tattooing me since his days as an apprentice. Ive gone as far as the Chicago Tattoo Convention to get inked and support my friend. Hes an awesome illustrator who draws up fresh ideas, packs in the color, and makes it pop.

I very highly recommend iron quill. I got a tattoo by Fritz and it came out AMAZING. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. If you’re on the fence about getting work done here, look no further. You won’t be disappointed!

Steve and Travis are great artist. This is the most professional shop I have been to with great artist who pay attention to detail, do superb work and leave you with an outstanding tattoo. I highly recommend!

I received a Terrible tattoo. I wish my artist would have canceled my scheduled appointment instead of attempting something he flat out could not do. Now Im going to be shelling out thousands at Removery.If you go to Iron Quill make sure you clearly communicate with the artist about their capability of completing the art youre requesting to be tattooed.This is absolutely NOT a disgruntled competitor. I was a fill-in for a cancelation.I wont use names.PLEASE MAKE YOUR ARTIST PRODUCE YOUR ART BEING TATTOOED PRIPR TO YOUR SCHEDULED SESSION.

Travis has done the majority of the tattoos on my body and I will not go to another artist because of how easy to work with and talented he is. He’s incredibly creative and I highly recommend checking out his artwork out on instagram @Teavi_tattoos.

I have been going to Steve for quite some time now, he is the only artist I will go to. I usually go in there with an idea, and let him run with it. Ive always been beyond pleased with every tattoo that he has ever done. Every time I am out, I dont think I have ever not been stopped and asked to look at my tattoos and asked who I go to. I highly recommend him to anyone, he is phenomenal in realism and being personable.

Absolutely LOVE every single tattoo Steve has done for me. Im horrible at deciding how I want things to look so I always give him the freedom to do what he wants. He never disappoints. His freehand is amazing and the color saturation is unreal. I get compliments on my tattoos all the time! I would recommend Steve to everyone!!

Unbelievable talent & a true professional tattoo artist, consults with you realistically to make sure you’re in full understanding of what things will look like, how colors will look on your skin tone, he’s the whole package. I trust him to not only tattoo me but my wife & entire family. He’s a legit artist, best I know and I’m an artist myself! He understands color theory, and knows his craft - he fully understands needle pressure n techniques, & is a creative so he’s great to soundboard off of when you don’t know what you want, or can’t decide, etc. just a good dude too n let’s be real you only wanna be stabbed by a nice guy, right?

Very artistic, loves to put his own vision into tattoos or advise on what you may want. Custom tattoos over the typical copying from the internet. Solid work with vibrant colors, he’s down to earth so you can feel comfortable going to him while getting a tattoo. I definitely recommend visiting and checking out his work because you will get quality which is what you should want for something that’s on your body the rest of your life.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else!! Travis has done all of my pieces. I wouldn’t trust anyone else.

Began my sleeve with Steve and don’t plan on going to anyone else. He is insanely talented and passionate about his work as he cuts no corners. If you have an idea he will make it come to life but with his own twist and style. Highly recommend
