Thank you olskool tattoos me and my sister want there today to get some piercing and the guy did a very good job I dont remember his name but he was very nice

We are more than satisfied with our new tattoos Chris did an awesome job! He listened to what we wanted and made it happen! Now my baby is with me all the time and we couldnt be happier! We will definitely be back and a BIG thank you to Chris @ Old Skool!

I have worked with Jerry for the last couple of months on this tattoo. He was so friendly, professional, and talented. He has done 2 other tattoos for me as well. I am so pleased with the finished work! It was exactly what I wanted! Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. I can’t recommend them enough. I also worked with Alexa for some piercings and she was wonderful! Made me feel very comfortable and she was very competent. I have had no adverse problems. I highly recommend them for all your tattoo and piercing needs. You won’t be disappointed!

Jerry was SO amazing with my tattoo this weekend! He took me as a walk-in and was so understanding with all of my edits and made me feel so comfortable. I would highly recommend him for fine line tattoos especially!!! I will absolutely be going back to him. (ps- so sorry my lunch is in this photo!!!)

Absolutely love love love this place! Ive gotten 2 tattoos in the past week! They all are very professional, an nice. Jerry did my first tattoo an did an amazing job. An Alex did my tattoo today an couldnt ask for it to get any better! Definitely a 10/10 with this place.

LOVE val, he’s awesome!! he’s been doing my tattoos for almost 10 years now. not only does he do amazing work, but it’s always a good time with him too! chris did my first tattoo & does my brothers & he is great too! however, not a fan of jerry. he doesn’t have good customer service skills, or people skills in general. my sister & i get a bad vibe from him when we go in, especially when we went in for our tattoos yesterday. he has a terrible attitude. i would only go here for val & chris!

Val & Chris are great! Chris listened to what I wanted, made a rough copy of it, and proceeded to start work. He made sure I was comfortable & I never got nervous or anxious because they both have a calm, relaxed, yet confident nature were tattooing is concerned. I highly recommend Ol Skool. This place is EXCELLENT!!

Great experience. Jerry Jones did my tattoo and the lines are as crisp as a brand new $100 bill. I have got nothing but compliments on it. The lines are so crisp and sharp some of my buddies thought it was a fake tattoo. This guy is a serious Artist. They will get all my future buisness.

I took my daughter here for her first tatoo and was blown away by the work that was done. Chris was so nice and drew up exactly what my daughter had in mind. His work is amazing and I recommend these guys to ANYONE! Very clean and nice people!!!

Chris is a master with the needle. Did my back piece in several sessions a few years ago that was a daunting cover up that not any artist can pull off. I just left with a touch up job that was above and beyond. Also got to hang out some with Jerry while I was getting worked on and he as an awesome dude as well. Great conversation from both of them. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants world class art.

The place was as clean as a whistle, which to me is as important as the tattoo, the staff very nice and concerned for all of your needs. Alex was tremendous and spot on. Ive had at least 50 compliments this last 6 days.When you seek out the best and do your homework then you get the best. I traveled a long way to get tattooed by Alex at Ol Skool Tattoos and it was worth it.

For some reason I cant post pictures. Today I had the pleasure of getting a tattoo by Jerry. Super cool dude very chill and laid-back. He was fast but did an amazing job. Im so happy with the outcome and will definitely go back hopefully very soon.

Jerry was my tattoo artist and did a phenomenal job in seeing my vision of the tattoo and bringing it to life. Through the process, he was very chill and easy going to make the tattoo experience even better. Very professional shop!

These guys provide great service and so high quality work! Professional, clean and friendly too! They work hard to meet your needs and make sure you’re happy before you leave! Remember this when looking for your next tattoo good tattoos aren’t cheap and cheap tattoos aren’t good.

Val has done 3 tattoos for me and each time I have been very pleased with the way they have turned out. The last one was better than I could have imagined. He is entertaining during the process and his skill is professional all the way.

Ive gone to other places before and gotten tattoos and Ol Skool is the best by far!Chris did an amazing job drawing up the perfect design for my father and Is matching tattoos, He did an amazing cover job on my hip! Alex fixed my very first tattoo and added so much detail and color to it that three years later it looks just as good as the day I left the shop! :) Chris even fixed my wedding band tattoo! Cant say thank you enough to these guys! Will definitely be going to them for every tattoo! :)

Great place to get a tattoo, Val is amazing not just as a tattoo artist but a real artist, he can do tattoos from scratch, so if you want something unique and special he is the man. If you like traditional tattoos or modern, pictures script or text he can do it for you, I have many tattoos and his are amazing, always friendly, honest and fun I will continue to get my body art with Val

Very clean shop and inviting. I highly recommend Val to book an appointment with. Hes an older gentleman with lots of experience he will give you tips and pointers for your tattoo if you are unsure or have questions. No doubt this is the best place in New Bern.

Had Jerry tattoo a flower with my daughters name in the stem. I was a bit undecided of what I wanted but he drew up a beautiful tattoo that was everything I pictured it to be! Highly recommend!

I have many tattoos on my body but this was by far the best experience Ive had. Chris witch was the tattoo artist is very professional and friendly. He makes getting a tattoo A breeze. He is a very detailed tattoo artist. I will be com8ng back to get more tattoos by Chris. I live in miami and came to new bern to get a tattoo bc hes that good

Chris did a real good job on my tattoo he had a light hand and steady hand lines were great shading was great I highly recommend him.

I got my daith done here, with Jared. Cash only, no fuss. I had a few questions that were answered quickly and simply. I was in and out very quickly. I had gone to another shop in Havelock and had a miserable experience with the piercer, so this was a breath of fresh air.

Got my 1st tattoo today by Alex....what an amazing experience! He was patient, skilled and talked me through it step by step.Cant wait to get my next one!!!!!!

Chill space, awesome artists. Our tattoos look super simple, but I consider line work fairly difficult and these were very well done.Also very happy with the placement of my nose ring ;)

Can’t speak to their tattooing skills, but tried to schedule an appointment for my 10 year old to get her ears pierced and had a horrible experience just with that alone. Super unprofessional and rude. The guy I spoke to said they “don’t do them that young, they are just babies.” I asked how old she would need to be and he said, “I don’t know, just older, 14 or 15 maybe? Just more mature. I don’t like when they come in here and they want it, then they don’t want it, they change their minds. I don’t pierce babies.”😜🙄😳😬

Val was a terrible tattooer. Nice guy, terrible at his job. Light hand and awful lines. My husband actually got his tattoo covered up, that’s how bad it was. Otherwise a clean place with a nice staff, just stay away from Val.

I went in to get a tattoo that had pretty small numbers, letters, and the rest just being straight lines and they killed it. I could not be happier with my tattoo. It signifies a very important part of my life and it was done better than I could hope for. Jerry killed it.

Alex did absolutely amazing covering my scars on my arm! He talked me through everything he was doing and thinking while tattooing. I will be going back to him for more!

I went here to get my nose pierced and now I want a tattoo. The staff are great, hygiene is excellent. They do needles instead of a piercing gun (always choose the needle method as the gun causes more bruising)

Jerry did an amazing job!!! I would definitely recommend his work as he is very talented in his profession.

Every time I looked down he had changed something with the design on the spot without asking even after I repeatedly told him to stop. cant wait to get it removed. Dont go here if you have a design that you dont want changed becuase they will completely disregard it.

My wife and I go in to get simple matching tattoos and the artist took it upon himself to add details I didnt want...now the tattoo I share with my wife I cannot stand... I now have to pay someone to fix it and get it the way I want.

My first tattoo. Now I have to get a cover up. The chi was put on backward the cross has already faded not to mention some part of the cross is darken then the other part. Really heart broken

They really messed up my tattoo. idk how he had the outline perfect but when he actually did the tattoo the lines came out sloppy. i will never come back here.
