I found this place on Facebook and requested an appointment. Molly got back to me very quickly and set up an appointment with me she is excellent with her artwork and the whole time we were talking, laughing and it was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had because before I knew it, after all the laughing and getting along, the tattoo was already done! The shop itself is very clean and it has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere! Extremely likely to recommend this place to anybody reading this and I’m telling all my friends and family!

Responsive and tattoo artist typically dont end up in the same review. This is not the case for Samma. He was the most responsive artist I have ever dealt with! While discussing the design I had a few times I wanted to discuss further in depth. He scheduled a consultation for me and reviewed the design and talked through and explained to me.why he thought this type of design was better over another. Samma is easy going, responsive, and easy to work with.Still in the healing process about a week out but I can already tell you I would go back to Samma Charles Art. They treated me like gold! Bought me lunch and gave me soda and snacks to keep my blood sugar up during a ten hour tattoo! I had a 6 hour tattoo previously that the artist did not worry what so ever about things such as blood sugar or food. I chatted with Samma the whole time I was being tattooed. Super friendly staff! Molly and Ward were just as kind as Samma. If you are looking for a tattoo or piercing studio I can not recommend them enough. I will be going back for future tattoos for sure!First image is 5 days after the tattoo when I took the saniderm off. It is starting to peel a little bit (normal for the process of a tattoo) but the saniderm made a huge difference in healing so far! Trust the process and trust this shop!Oh and they taught me how to play Warhammer during it hahaha!

Samma and his staff were great! Very attentive to me and my needs. Very helpful in guiding me to make a tattoo Ive been wanting for years happen! I have wanted to do this tattoo for a long time and havent been able to find an artist I trusted to do it and samma knocked it out of the park! Im very happy with my piece and will definitely give them future business and hopefully get my family and friends to check them out as well!!!

My husband and I both got tattoos during their pokemon event last Sunday. Molly did my tattoo and I will definitely be back to add another.

Samma and his crew made my husband and I feel very welcomed and confident during the whole process. Molly let me take as many breaks as I needed and with it being my first tattoo I needed more than I expected. She offered me water and dumdums to help which it did. Samma did excellent work on my husbands who still has two more sessions to complete his. Im glad that we trusted Sammas Studio to do our pieces and will definitely recommend them for anybody looking to get great tattoos with a wonderful experience!

Walking into Samma Charles Art, I was hopeful despite noticing a lack of diversity on their website and Instagram page. One of the piercers, Bri, had an impressive-looking Instagram portfolio, so I decided to give her a try. However, my experience turned out to be far from satisfactory.Opting for three ear piercings on the same ear, I voiced my concerns about past rejection issues to Bri, who assured me everything would be fine. Despite paying a hefty sum of almost 2k for the service, my journey with the piercings was fraught with issues from bumps, bleeding, and scarring that persisted for about six months, despite my adherence to all aftercare instructions provided.Throughout this ordeal, I maintained communication with Bri, updating her on the worsening condition of the piercings. However, it was only when all three piercings began to deteriorate simultaneously that I was left in the dark. Despite reaching out for guidance and assistance during this critical period, I was met with silence. I tried to call the shop a few times, no answer. It has been three months. It became clear that the piercer was choosing to ignore the escalating problems, which is utterly unprofessional and unacceptable.Eventually, I sought help elsewhere and paid another piercer to have one of the piercings removed. Surprisingly, once the piercing was gone, the others started to improve. It was evident that my ear couldnt handle the multiple piercings, despite my initial reservations that were dismissed by Bri.To add insult to injury, I recently discovered that Bri is using my after photo as the cover page for their piercing site, which inaccurately represents the outcome of the piercings, given that one had to be removed. It feels as though I was exploited as a diversity prop to bolster their image, especially considering the lack of clients of color in their portfolio.In summary, my experience at Samma Charles Art and Piercings by Bri was nothing short of a scam. I paid a significant amount of money only to be ghosted, left with poorly healing piercings, and ultimately used as a diversity representation. I strongly advise against giving your money to this establishment.

Bryony and Sam made my experience getting first tattoo so seamless and enjoyable. Both were very friendly and had me laughing with their back and forth banter. I love my tattoo and we’re definitely recommend the visit

Had a consultation with Samma to discuss my tattoo, and take photos of my fiancé. Very professional experience during that encounter. Made both myself and fiancé feel very comfortable. We had discussed a thigh tattoo.I returned a few days later to start my thigh tattoo, which turned into a full leg tattoo. Which i absolutely LOVE. Halfway through the piece and i couldn’t be happier. I’m beyond excited to see the final result!! All hail Samma Charles!

This is the tattoo studio and crew of your dreams. It’s a big space, clean, and welcoming. The artists and piercers are friendly, attentive, and generally lovely. I was here for almost eight hours, sitting a little over six for a tattoo, followed by a septum piercing. I should have been tired and drained, but instead I left cheerful, feeling like i’d spent the day hanging with friends. It is exactly the kind of intimate experience that I want when receiving body modifications.And of course, they are wildly wildly talented. (And again, personable! Which is so important when you’re spending that much time together.)For my tattoo, I worked with Molly. From designing it to tattooing it, she made the process as smooth as possible, and she did an absolutely gorgeous rendering of my proposed idea, translating it to skin better than I could have dreamed of. A massive talent for blackwork! I will absolutely be working with her again.And Bryony, the piercer, is incredibly attentive to detail. She went out of her way to help me find the jewelry I wanted, and even further out of her way to make sure that my septum piercing went like a breeze.I cannot speak highly enough about this team, truly. I have been gushing to everyone I know about them and this incredible experience.

Samma is not only a great artist but his tattoo experiance is by far the best. He is super professional and was super in tune to trying to make the experiance as comfortable as possible, right down to making you choose the music thats playing. By far best tattoo experiace yet.

This is perhaps the greatest tattoo artist in New England. The shop, the staff, the way they conduct business, the atmosphere, the music, the concern, the conversations. 6 stars all the way around.

They were so kind, gave me the most thorough curation recommendations for my piercings the day of, and really understood what I wanted and made it happen. Highlyyyy recommend :)

This experience tops any other tattoo shop ever visited. If youre looking for life changing body art this is your place to go. 10/10
