Ursa Major Tattoo Studio

This is the best tattoo and piercing place I have ever been to. All of the artist are friendly and welcoming. Molly took my initial idea and ran with it and gave me a beautiful piece of art to wear! They are the absolute BEST! Go there! You can thank me later!

The experience was truly astounding. The level of care, professionalism and creativity was on another level. The tattoo looks better than it did in my head, and I am so proud to show it off. Everyone there was a great and welcoming person with a hilarious sense of humor as well as professional, it is apparent how in love, with their craft the talented artists all are. The shop has a great atmosphere that made me feel like I was amongst old friends.

Had an amazing first tattoo experience with Molly. She was super friendly and reassuring the entire time and the rest of the people there were super friendly. Tattoos came out awesome, will definitely be back for the next one.

Ive had a wonderful experience getting my first piercing with Bryony! They reassured me about anxiety I had, were quick and professional, and I came out with a gorgeous result! When I almost lost the backing to my new piece, they offered to have me in the next day to help and replace the missing piece! Would easily go back again!

Molly has outdone herself yet again! This is my second tattoo from her and she beyond exceeded my expectations! Thank you very much, Molly! This place has the most chill vibes! Got my tattoo from Ryan and he did amazing work, but the entire staff was all entirely too nice. They even offer water and soda to keep you hydrated and full of sugar while getting tatted. I personally won’t go anywhere else!

I have had excellent experiences at this studio, and its the only place I recommend my friends and loved ones go for tattoos and piercings. Bryony is incredibly talented and professional, and I look forward to getting more piercings and curations from her in the future! All work Ive had at this studio has exceeded my expectations, and I constantly get compliments. I definitely trust them to respect my body, and I feel very safe there as someone who is trans and disabled.

I moved to Boston Sept 2022 and was nervous trying to find a new piercer after having left my one and only piercer back home. I went through all the research online and on all socials and found Ursa Major and more specifically, Bryony. I had been wanting to get my second nostril piercing for a while and after many many failed attempts, I put my full trust in Bryony to get it done for the 3rd time and I couldn’t be more grateful that I found her. She talked me through my concerns, the healing process, what worked before and what didn’t, things we could potentially try for this new healing process and even consistently checked in on my healing journey. The entire studio makes you feels so incredibly safe and Bry not only creates the most safe and respectful environment, but she’s an incredibly welcoming and friendly person, she’s the person you DO want poking around your ears or nose to create the prettiest pieces! My second nostril piercing was finally a success after Bry pierced it and walked me through the healing process. She allowed for the most comfortable and safe relationship to bloom and I’ve gone back to her many many times, she’s created and curated designs for my ears, piercing new pieces for me and even thinking of me when new jewelry comes in that would work with my anatomy or new piece wishes. This is a studio and a piercer that will welcome you and support you in your beautiful piercing dreams.

I’ve had a lot of piercings done by Bryony and it’s been by far the best piercing experience I’ve ever had. Extremely professional and friendly, all my piercings have healed amazingly and the jewellery is absolutely stunning, would highly recommend!!

Bry is an extremely friendly, thoughtful, knowledgable and empathetic piercer. Ive been getting my body poked by needles for a long time and Bry is someone id happily return to for more. Its a painful and exciting moment to get a piercing but Bry is as gentle and communicative as you can ask. She rocks.

Highly recommended. I have gotten three tattoos here and will keep coming back. They do blackwork, they do cartoony, they do realistic. On top of that, their ink heals faster than Ive experienced anywhere else. A recent six hour piece stopped oozing by day two. Queer friendly, great bedside manner, and fun to be around.

Got a cute caterpie at the video game tattoo convention, and had a great experience with them! Everyone was so nice and cant get over how fantastic these artists are!
