I don’t ever write reviews, but this was just highly unacceptable as someone who has been a loyal customer. I have had back thermals for 6 years, from a tattoo shop in West Chester, before deciding that I wanted to get them removed. Ive been free without them for a couple of years and It wasnt until 2 years ago, I wanted to get them back and I went to this place. The first time that I got them done here, the left one rejected after some time and came out. I spoke to the owner about it and he told me to come back. After waiting for him for an hour to come during our scheduled appointment, he charged me a repair fee that I paid for. He proceeded to tell me how to take care of a thermal, as though I never had experience with them before, and said it shouldnt come out after that. I followed his instructions and It wasnt until the end of last year that same thermal came out. I went back to the shop to get it fixed because the employee said he would take care of it when I called. He then called the owner because he realized that it JUST came out and he didnt want to cause trauma to my back. So they told me to come back in 4 weeks. I spoke to the owner about coming in to get it fixed and he said that he will charge me AGAIN for a repair fee. He claimed that I didnt take care of it (like hes with me every day to know), and was highly inconsiderate. I have NEVER had problems with my thermals before going here, but since getting it re-pierced here, its been causing me nothing, but trouble. I have referred people to this place prior to this for tattoos and even got my left nipple piercing done TWICE after my themals, because of the SAME problem. The owner doesnt care how he pierce or care about their customers. He is very rude and it’s evident that he only cares about his money. Thats maybe the reason why all the other great employees that I met there, are no longer working there. DO NOT waste your money or time if you want to get piercings here and rude customer service experience. Now Im walking around with one thermal in my back and a crooked nipple piercing until I go to a shop that actually knows what theyre doing.

My husband sent me a drawing of what he wanted me to get tatted and they did an amazing job and they was really respectful and they had no problem working with me on a price. Will definitely be going back.

Went in to get my first tattoo and my artist did a fantastic job! I just brought along a picture of what I wanted and he replicated it with great detail. The studio was very clean and comfortable as well, I would recommend!

Eric is an amazing artist, takes his time and can do incredible work. Ive had 3 all three of these tattoos done by him. Hes exceptionally professional and a joy to be around.

Super disappointed. First appointment we called , & texted The Owner Nixon . He confirmed an appointment with him , multiple times. We showed up. He forgot he had an appointment. & then SAME thing happened the next day. But my boyfriend was determined to get the tattoo so we came for the 3rd time. He finally got the tattoo. My name. We loved it , but the 2nd session was devastating. The picture speaks for itself. He even has a deep gash as you can see in the photo . It’s sad seeing as how we’re 99 percent sure nixon is the owner since it’s his number on the building. Lines uneven , heart looks like a child drew it , shading is horrible & to be cut so deep ? A gash ? So damn sad especially seeing as how it was a symbol of his love for me. Now we have to go somewhere else so they can fix this amature looking piece.

Had an amazing experience with AJ and I absolutely love my tattoo. Something lite for now I plan on covering my legs and will be returning ! The price was great. He had so much patience with me and really made sure it was how I wanted it. Thanks !

Pedro does amazing work and I would recommend him to anyone I know. He is kind and very persistent when tattooing. He takes his time and is easy to talk to. I would highly recommend Iron Tattoo Inc.

I don’t remember who pierced me, but I got nipple piercings and they were clean and quick. I called in the morning beforehand to make sure they took walk-ins and to get a price quote and a woman told me two nipple piercings would be $80 altogether, jewelry included. I got them done later that evening and when I was ready to pay, I was charged $100. The teen at the front then said that the girl just told me anything and didn’t really know any better cause she does tattoos. I just didn’t like that and for that reason, I gave 4 stars. Otherwise, I liked the piercer. He was nice.

Been going here since my first tattoos (age 18) I’m now 24. I don’t go anywhere else but iron tattoo. Amazing staff that makes you feel at home , respectful and clean. They always exceeded my expectations as a customer. I always get compliments on my piercings and tattoos and I always recommend iron tattoo. Specifically Maurice is my favorite. His work is always done in a timely manner , he makes sure your comfortable. Art work always on point never had any complications or complaints. I would recommend this place to everyone. I will continue going here. 10/10 stars for me!

*Update: The owner contacted me and apologized and offered to try to make the wrong right. The owner was nice and seemed sincere with the apology. Hopefully the artists start taking being on time and showing clients more respect of their time more seriously.If I could give zero starts I would. I scheduled an appointment last Thursday for today, Monday, June 13th at 12pm to get my daughters ears pierced. Well no one showed up. Given its not exactly in the nicest neighborhood, I wasnt exactly happy to have waited 45 minutes with three kids. I ended up leaving with a very upset kiddo. I read a few reviews that have similar experiences!!! I dont recommend wasting your time on this disrespectful business!!!!!

I went yesterday for the first time called about walk in appointments and they were happy to take me! Very clean environment and great staff! Everyone was respectful and professional. I got one of handwriting and they were able to copy it exactly. Was in and out in maybe 30 mins. reasonably priced too! will definitely be back for my next one

Went in their late December of 22 I was told there was free touchup if needed not even four weeks after getting the tattoo and definitely some touchup needed. I text (tattoo Artist). And told her my concerns she said she was going out of town and could help me after she got back now it’s may of 23 still haven’t heard back from tattoo artist I have reach out multiple times I spent good money on this tattoo and in my opinion it looks bad even tipped her extremely well not a fan of this place

Attached is a before and after shot.I had went to get my piercing done a few months ago. I asked the piercer what kind of jewelry was I getting, and he looked at me and smiled. No answer. So I said, sterling silver or steel? And he nodded….I quickly got pierced, and was not given an after care bag. I asked him what I should do, and he recommended I go on Google to search it up….Now the piercing is rejected. I call and ask them to remove it. It wouldn’t unscrew for some reason. It was hurting the entire time I had it in, but I didn’t wanna let it go. I figured if I always kept it clean, it’ll eventually heal, but it began looking worse and worse. When I called them, he told me he would remove it. I said great, but then he told me theyll charge me to remove a piercing!!Piercings only reject if the procedure was done incorrectly or if the metal was cheap. So technically they are at fault for this, they should not discourage me to remove it. This is terrible customer service, and I was even considering coming back to get another piercing.

I got a triple helix piercing here. The jewelry used was too small & too tight, so I’m left with a lump of scar tissue protruding from each hole where my skin tried to grow around the jewelry while healing. A waste of money.

Maurice was absolutely amazing! He was very kind, considerate, and listened to exactly what we wanted. My mom, sister, and I all got tattoos and absolutely love them. Thank you!!

Got my first tattoo here! A sizable dragon on my upper arm, that took the tattooist 4 hours. I couldn’t have asked for a better artist. The tattooist (Andy) was professional, courteous, organized, and very thorough with his work. If you get the chance to come here, definitely go to Andy! Couldn’t be more happy

The people there are so nice and funny. Pedro did my tattoo and he did an amazing job! Constantly checked up on me throughout the session to make sure I was okay.

This guy is trash. The only reason he gets reviews is because everyone out here is used to low quality because its all they can afford. Its Norristown. His work fits the demographic.

I came in looking for a correction of previous work completed at another tattoo/piercing place in the area. Iron Tattoos staff were professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease. The location was clean and organized. The work was high quality and very fairly priced. They made sure I knew how to keep it clean and look for any potential complications. Any future work, they will be my first choice. Highly recommend.

After researching a few tattoo spots in my area, I stopped by Iron Tattoo just to get an estimate of the idea I wanted. Maurice did a quick rough sketch and right away gave me an estimate. He got me in the very next day and hooked up exactly what I was looking for. Great work, very clean and detailed. Highly recommend. Ill be back.

Went in on Sunday Oct 3rd to get my ears pierced as nobody would answer the phone. The piercer was not in and was told to come in today Oct 4th. As soon as I came in at 2:30pm which I rushed out of work early to get there early in the day. I was told the piercer was leaving. He came back in while the person who was at the reception area ran him down. I was sat down and rushed through. Not noticing it at the time, I believed they were dead even. Got back home and took a picture of each ear to make sure, and they were off by 1/8”. I should’ve thought to have done it there. Called a bunch to try to reach someoneUPDATEGave up on calling around 6:15 and drove over. Got it sorted out very quickly and the person who helped noticed immediately when looking at it. Now we’re nice and evened out. And no issues at allFirst guy that did them was as 1 out of 5Second guy who did them was 4 out of 5

What else can I say other than mauriceand his group of guys are artists at what they do. I have had multiple tattoos at different places but after my last one done by maurice I will never go anywhere else. Walk-in service was great. Customer service was great. It was a great atmosphere with a great vibe and great people. The shop is a great open floor plan that is very clean and well set up. I will recommend iron tattoo to anyone looking for a great tattoo.

They were nice, but The girl who tatted me was obviously young and what i learned soon after being on the table was not experienced. She outlined my tattoo 6 times and the ink still did not show up on half of it, she looked scared tattooing me and after i had asked why it felt like she was continuously outlining a very simple tattoo she gave me an excuse then proceeded to pull another artist to the side and ask questions. It looks like a Jail tattoo & it’s obvious.It’s very saddening, i trusted her, it’s only my second tattoo ever. I regret getting it & not speaking up in time.

I was a walk in client today instead of my normal appointment visits. When I called (on a monday) they were able to get me in within my time frame. Theres a large waiting area with enough seats for two larger families, and a few single chairs throughout the area. I was able to send a refrence picture to the phone number they have on Google, they drew it up, and it came out great. This was my first time at this shop, and I would definitely recommend them.

First I’d like to say that I’ve been to tattoo shops in Berwyn,Malvern, Coatsville and The other two in Norristown. I must say Iron tattoo was the BEST tattoo shop I’ve been to! We’ve decided that this place will be our permanent spot. Maurice went above and beyond with my Indecisive self lol. He was patient with me and even drew the stencil out three times for me! The third time was a charm! (Yes I was complicated lol ) He made sure that I was comfortable and sure, with what I wanted done. It was a success and people complimented his amazing work left and right. My daughter also had a tattoo done by him ( her first tattoo) and his service was beyond great!! He made sure my daughter was comfortable the whole time asking and checking if she was ok or if she needed a break, now tell me that’s not great customer service! :)... He made sure she got done exactly what she asked for. Before that Berwyn tattoo shop failed us! We went there and showed the artist what she wanted and everything was ok until we went in for her appointment and the artist stenciled his own opinion and changed her art work completely! smh so we left them and went to Iron tattoo last minute. Oh and let me tell you about Iron tattoo! The vibes of all the workers there were so amazing! Great group of workers as well as great conversations and laughter. The customer service was phenomenal!!! We recommend Iron Tattoo to everyone! Go see for yourself!! You won’t regret it! Oh and the prices there are great compared to others! Thank you Team and Maurice for giving us a tremendous experience!! All of y’all’s rock!!

Best tattoo shop in the city. I have gotten over 20 tattoos here and I love every single one. They do is on detail and they are not overpriced. I refer friends and family here constantly!!

They were super friendly and helpful. There was a very laid back atmosphere. The owner of the shop was a perfect gentleman and did AMAZING on my tattoo. I seriously recommend this shop, because I’ll most definitely be coming back!

Update:I did end up taking my piercing out. The owner however did offer to fix it which I really appreciated.Only time will tell if my piercing will heal correctly but the job wasn’t the best. Unfortunately, I had much better experiences at Infinite but I didn’t want to drive into philly so I came here for my septum. It wasn’t comfortable, had to pierce my nose twice and the person must be new / inexperienced to a point. I have my nostril pierced as well and they couldn’t remove it so I took it out and it didn’t seem like they knew how to put the new one in..They gave me no info at all. They should have info on how to take care of your piercing as well even just a small flyer but that was neglected as well. This place isn’t awful and the person wasn’t mean but if you have nerves or are new to piercing please go to infinite or somewhere more experienced so you don’t gotta be in pain unnecessarily.

Recently got my ears pierced by Kevin B, loved how cute they look. AWESOME vibe as soon as you walk in, the guys are super friendly and welcoming. Definitely will be coming back to get my Cartilage pierced:) thank you! Also they all speak Spanish too.

Scheduled an appointment the week prior on the website and received multiple confirmations for it. Arrived early and mentioned I had an appointment at the designated time. Waited a half hour while my friend finished her appointment only to then be told mine would not be happening because the artists “friend” had an appointment booked for the same time. No notice in the few business days about my canceled appointment until I had already been at the venue for 30 minutes.

I called Thursday to schedule an appointment to get a tattoo. The shop owner asked me to send a picture of the tattoo I wanted to the number connected to the shop, so I did. I barely got a response on a price, day or time. I called the shop and tried to ask again on all 3 of these and I finally got a price, day and time 4 days later. I arrived on time and I wasn’t even able to get a tattoo. I waited in the dirty lobby for 30 mins filled with at least 10 used trash bags, the shop had no air conditioning in 90 degree weather, there was very little places to sit, the shop owner was nowhere to be found either. I even tried calling back later and there was no reply

Got a dermal and it barely lasted a month after I got it. I went to get it checked as it was sinking into my skin and they barely did anything for it. Fell out like two weeks after getting it checked.

Every time that I come, they always prepare their station and have everything cleaned and ready to work. They are all friendly and amazing. I highly recommend for people to come get their tattoos done here!

I am recently new to the area, due to college. I wanted to add to my tattoo collection... I first came here and got my nipples and belly button pierced and I was so happy with them and felt so comfortable. I called many places, and Iron Tattoo was the only one that would do a lip tattoo AND they were able to fit me in that day. I was so happy with the work (Instagram: kb_designss). I Was new to the area a couple months back and stopped in here to get something drawn up. They took my deposit said they would have the drawing ready in two weeks or less. After two weeks I never heard from them. I tried calling they said I would get a call back and never did. Tried calling again a week later no answer. Extremely unprofessional they took my money and I never even got to see my drawing. I had just won big at the casino the day before and If things went well I was going to get a lot of work done there. They blew it, I would give no stars if I could.

They have ZERO Covid protocols in place for customers or staff. They are putting the entire local economy including Salons, other Tattoo shops, and Barbers at risk of closure because they are acting like theres not a Pandemic going on. Horrible, dont go.

Back around October of last year I got my septum pierced. For my first time, my experience great. Im planning on getting some tattoos done.

Out of all the tattoo shops that Ive been to over the years its easy for me to say....This is one of the best tattoo shops Ive been in...I am getting work done bye the artist--ERIC--And because hes such a good tattoo artist....I am getting several tattoos put on me......Their prices are very reasonable........

Wanted to get a meaningful tattoo that would remind me of my fire house, went there and was not disappointed. Had a great experience sitting in the chair had great laughs and good stories to listen to. @kb_designss was amazing would highly recommended him!!!

I went to get a daith piercing. After waiting for 45 minutes, I was taken back and had to explain where a daith piercing was, because the piercer dotted my tragus with the marker. After fumbling with my ear trying to get a grip, he grabbed some clamps to try to hold my ear. Then he asked for someones help holding my ear while he attempted to jam the needle through. He started moving the needle through my ear VERY slowly so I could feel it moving around inside the cartilage. Then I asked if the needle was through and he said not all the way and my ear begins to profusely bleed. At this point they ask me to come back tomorrow and I quickly got out of there. Weirdest, most ridiculous piercing experience of my life.

Online booking does not work. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment, staff showed confusion. Showed them whats I was looking to get done and was treated poorly as well as scoffed at. Would never go back, plenty of other places to go to in the area. There is no excuse for poor service in todays day and age.

I had a swollen cartilage piercing, Erik helped me swap it out for a longer bar to reduce swelling and gave me advice for taking care of it. Highly recommend!

Maurice does a great job happy with both tattoos and the one the ink was dark purple but came out blue and when it heals better hes fixing it. Very awesome

Went there the other night after i spent days messeging them explaing in derail what i want. They told me a time to come in when i got there i wasnt greated for like 40 minuites and i was told they didnt have time to do it and they also disnt even read my messages because they thought i wanted some completly differnt. Im really dissapointed because a lot of people i know went here for tatttooos but im NEVER going back.

Luis did my memorial tattoo today and he hooked it up. Lines are crisp and thin. Coloring is slamming!!! Found my go to place and artist.

I got a piercing here and it healed perfectly. The piercing didn’t take long at all and it was done very efficiently.

Called for an appointment and got bounced from person to person until I got frustrated and hung up. Im sure they took appointmens before covid-19 so what is the problem?

Great artist and friendly. Im extremely happy with the work they did and have gone back a few times since then.
