First off - I truly love this salon because of its warm, inviting and clean environment. But equally important, Marisa is not only knowledgeable and very skilled she is genuine when it comes to the consultation and process. I live in Manhattan and cannot find her expertise and level of quality care here locally. I commute to see her and I am always amazed at how natural I look and it’s because of her level of detail. Hello all! So here it is 6 weeks after getting my eyebrows tattooed, I am back to see Marisa at Trucco Skin for my perfecting/ check-up to ensure everything is what it is supposed to be and I have to say I am more than pleased with the results. What a fabulous transformation and I am ecstatic with how natural, balanced and real my eyebrows look. Marisa, the master of this artistry, (as I stated in my original post), has done a perfect job. I had an issue: as I aged the outermost 1/3rd of my eyebrows thinned to almost nothing. I remember my fathers eyebrows did this as he aged and it looked strange to me that my eyebrows did the same. Its like they got shorter by 1/3rd making me look old. I chose Trucco based on information available on the internet for people in the Chester County area. I met Marisa and Im SO GLAD I did. She is a true artist at her trade and she fixed my brows to look as they NATURALLY had looked before they thinned. You couldnt tell that they werent completely natural unless you examined them with a magnifying glass and even then, it would be hard to tell. Rarely in todays society could you meet someone who takes as much pride in their work as Marisa does. She is extremely kind as all the folks I met at Trucco were. I am very happy that I made the decision to go to Trucco and met Marisa. Go see her and find out that she is one TERRIFIC lady!

Marisa saved my eyebrows!I had nanobrows done at another shop and the results were not at all what I expected or wanted. I contacted Trucco the next morning super early and they were able to fit me in for Emergency Saline removal before my nanobrows had been on for 24 hours. Marisa walked through options and each step to help me achieve an end goal I am happy with. She was so kind and professional. I am now about 3 week out from my removal session and I am super happy with my results!

A++ experience! If you’re thinking about cosmetic tattooing, you must go to Trucco. I had my eyeliner done and I couldn’t be happier. I recently had an appointment to have my eyebrows touched up, Ive been a client of Marisas for about 4 years now. I have always had very thin hairs on my eyebrows and prior to getting them cosmetically tattooed, I was always incredibly self conscious of going out of the house without them filled in. That all changed after my first session with Marisa. I am now able to wake up and walk out of the house with perfectly filled in eyebrows. I come in about every 1-1.5 years to get them touched up. Marisa is an absolute gem, she makes her clients feel completely at ease and she makes the entire procedure painless. I cannot recommend Trucco Skin enough!

My first experience with Trucco Skin was around three years ago. I met them at an open house at SOL Yoga studio. They were so kind and they showed me what I would look like with eyebrows. I booked an appointment with Trucco Skin after a horrific PMU experience with poorly trained esthetician. The esthetician from the other place, if I can even call her that, messed up my makeup so terribly that it had looked like a toddler did the job. The ladies at Trucco Skin were able to fit me in for an emergency saline removal even though they were booked for over a week in advance. This shows that they truly care about the client and about providing quality care. I went for the emergency saline removal with Marisa. She made a typically painful process as comfortable as possible and did an excellent job removing the botched makeup. The ink is 100% gone and my skin is almost fully healed before the two week mark. I strongly recommended Trucco Skin to anyone in need of a saline removal, or in need of any PMU services as their work is exceptional. 5/5 stars

I recently had a session with Rosetta for a powder brow refresh. I had spent years prior filling in over plucked and misshapen brows. I left, with not only beautifully natural results, but with such a feeling of self confidence! I have always found Trucco skin to be immaculately clean (before and during covid) extremely thorough and professional, but above all else, they are personally invested in each client. The personal attention that was dedicated to me while I was in Rosetta’s chair went above and beyond! She is an architect of sorts, even managing to map out my treatment to alter and greatly improve some asymmetry, which was always quite noticeable to me. I came here because of a referral from a friend and I saw how nice her brows came out. I was not disappointed. Rosetta did an ombre/powder brow on me for the first time and I was not sure what to expect but I was very pleased with how everything went. Not only is the place clean but she takes clients one at a time so there isnt a huge group of people waiting and the appointment is not rushed at all. She really takes the time to discuss everything with you and is an eyebrow artist. I had a bad microblading experience from another business and Rosetta at Trucco skin is currently helping me fix it. The person before Trucco skin used shaped my brows way too thick and uneven. They also used real tattoo ink, not cosmetic ink, so it is a long process to remove unfortunately. They also used a dark grey ash color that does not match my brows at all. Rosetta educated me on how the microblading experience should be- what cosmetic ink should be used, choosing the right colors for your skin tone, and how the shape should be based on your real brows. She has made me feel so comfortable and confident that this can be fixed and it is already so much better than before. I have had 3 brow tattoo removal so far with Rosetta and each time, it looks better. I am so excited to see the final result when we can finally redo the microblading. Rosetta and all of the technicians are very knowledgeable, trustworthy, and clean and I will never go anywhere else! They care about their clients a lot and I can’t thank them enough!

Melissa did my eyebrows in February and I was really satisfied with the result. She called me in August and asked me if I needed a touch up. I explained to her that my eyebrows got faded faster than I expected. She offered me a very nice discount and scheduled a touch up. Melissa is kind, detail orineted and extremely professional. I had been debating microblading and lash line enhancement for a while and on the recommendation of a friend I made a consult appointment with Marisa. From the moment I walked in I could tell this was going to be a positive experience. Marisa took the time to explain the various types of microblading, made recommendations and we discussed in detail what I was looking for and more importantly the look I didn’t want. She provided a super easy skin regime to get my skin prepped. (Gotta stay off the vitamin c serums and retinol based products and use gentle cleansers/moisturizers). I wasn’t sure what to expect from tattooing both on my brows and my eye lids and I was pleasantly surprised at the discomfort level. It was minimal. I describe it as an electronic toothbrush vibrations. Not painful, not pleasant just vibrating. Marisa explained the steps both before and real-time during the process. The result…game changing. And yes I get this word is totally overused but for me, I have no better word to describe. No longer do I need to spend the time filling in my brows or even doing eye liner. My eyes pop but don’t look overdone or heavy and I’m beyond thrilled with the result of my brows. Marisa is a true artist and the natural look she gave me is exactly what I was looking for. My only regret, I hadn’t found Marisa years ago! If you are considering microblading make the appointment at Trucco you will not be disappointed.

I had my eyebrows done and loved them so much I went back and had my eyeliner and lips done! On my last trip there I had the micro-needling done. Rosetta is a true artist and expert on skin care and permanent makeup. I absolutely love my new permanent eyebrows and eyeliner, it really improved my overall look, looks natural, and saves me so much time and effort every morning!!. I’m getting so many complements even without applying makeup. I also did the microneedling, and after only one session, Im already seeing a much more even skin tone. It also significantly lighten my dark spots caused by sun damage. I highly recommed this place and the amazing staff!

Even though I am on the north side of 60 i still want to look my best. My eyebrows were non existent and after the pandemic I wasnt really sure I wanted to go back to doing my makeup before I went out or ever! i had my eyebrows done by Marissa and am so happy with the results. First off- let me say I traveled from Manhattan for this appointment, as I was in need of a correction on my eye brows from micro blading. I have had this procedure done 2- times in NYC and was disappointed with level of professionalism and quality of service from 2 different salons. I had my eyebrows microbladed and microshading last year. I love it - husband said best thing I have ever done. Get up in the morning and they are all done and set for the day. I went back today and Marisa said they look fine and dont need touchup. I can go another 6 months & then check again. Marisa is so kind and professional - the place is pristine and clean. I recently had micoblading done to my eyebrows by Jesica & Marisa and am so extremely happy with the results! I am a kid from the 70s when the style was overly plucked brows (which never grew back!). I feel like I look younger and I dont have to spend the time filling them in any longer!
