Albie does great work. Using the pictures and guidance I provided, he created a design that I love.It was a pleasure conversing with him while he worked his artistry into my skin. The shop is so eclectically Albie. It was a great experience.

Years ago Albie gave my husband and I our first tattoo. I wanted a tattoo to remember my mom and I had to have Albie be the one. I was having a rough morning and he expertly gave me beautiful art forever and conversational delights. Albie is a treat and a dream. Talent and joy.

I have been seeing Albie for years and I absolutely love him and the work that he does. All of my pieces are beautiful and I get compliments on them all the time. Albie is very fair in his pricing and he’s very creative. I never want to see anyone else! Shop is super clean, atmosphere is fun and relaxing. 10/10 would recommend!

It’s always a great experience getting tattooed by Albie! I’ve seen him four times, and counting. My most recent piece was an idea I had that he brought to life by drawing directly on my skin. He’s truly an artist. I enjoy his humor, wisdom and vibe. His shop is super cool. Rates are reasonable. I highly recommend Ampersand Tattoo. Well worth the travel!

I would recommend anyone get their tattoos done here. Albie has created an awesome environment in his studio -- its well lit, well decorated, and he and Nate have put a personal touch on their workstations. I came in with a picture I wanted, and Albie sat down with me, sketched it out, and together we made changes and adjustments so that I had an spectacular tattoo ready to go. And once we started, he had great conversation that created a relaxing tattoo experience. I will definitely be back for future body art. Thanks man!

Albie did my first tattoo 16 years ago. I decided to see him again for an arm piece and I’m so glad I did. After experiencing the quality of his work the second time around with a larger, more intricate piece, I have no desire to see anyone else for my next tattoo.There was a really relaxing vibe at the shop, it was immaculately clean, and the interesting & comical conversation made 3 hours fly by.Love you Albie!! I wish I could give Albie 10 stars!!! He is such an amazing person with so much talent. Very professional and he has the BEST personality. Albie tattooed me 12yrs ago when I was visiting North Conway. I loved the tattoo he did back then. I never forgot him. I found him 12yrs later at a different location. Decided to have him tattoo a family tree. Drove 2.5hrs! He told me some amazing stories. It was so great getting to know you Albie. You are very talented. Just know you create lasting memories for your clients and that is amazing. Thank you for a great experience. You are a GREAT person. I can go on and on praising Ampersand Tattoo. The staff is awesome, they quickly helped us and were kind enough to schedule us right away. The artist that we had was named Nate (@thenateperley) and he was very talented and drew out exactly what my friend wanted her tattoo to show. They were very inviting, kind, and the ambience and decorations were beautiful. We will definitely go back!

After feeling brushed off by another shop nearby, I finally took my husbands advice and started going to see Albie. First for a smaller piece, and I was so pleased with that that we are now almost done with a full sleeve. He is hands down the best in the area, and the only place Id go to. The shop is immaculate and interesting to look at, beautiful work, and he gets a lot done in a few hours, so its pretty cost effective. Besides that, hes hilarious, and the banter between Nate & Albie helps to take your mind off the pain! I have seen Nates work as well and hes also excellent. I highly recommend making an appointment and going to see the guys at Ampersand. You wont be disappointed!!

Ampersand tattoo is by far my favorite tattoo shop! Super clean, friendly atmosphere and people. My friends and I came in as walk ins while on vacation up north and we were super pleased ! I came as a walk in on vacation with an idea of a tattoo in my head, and they were able to get me in right away. I worked with Nate and he was able to sketch up my idea exactly how I had described it, and the tattoo came out looking even better than I had imagined. Nate was super friendly and easy to chat with throughout the entire tattoo which made for a relaxing experience. His line work and shading is wonderful, and my tattoo is healing nicely! IF ICould give Albie 10 stars for this experience I would. Ampersand Tattoo Studio is very clean and organized in Albies whimsical way. He is very prompt with his appointments as he is a very busy man.I walked in not knowing Albie on a personal level on that Thursday and by the time he was finished my Beautiful Mermaid I felt as if I had made a new best friend. He was very intrested in what colors I wanted and showed me the perfect placement for her on my arm.I want to Genuinely Thank You Albie for caring about my thoughts and feelings about this special Piece of art. I would absolutely recommend going here! I came in nervous to get my first tattoo but Nate did an amazing job - he has now done four tattoos for my family, and every one of them came out better than we realized was possible. Drove 3 1/2 hours to get it done here and I would never get one done somewhere else after such a great experience!

I am so happy and impressed with the work done at Ampersand. Albie is very orientated on his work and does the detail with a keen eye. He will tell you if it will work and wont work. The mood there is comfortable and well theres always a lot of humor....I will send all who all there. Thanks Albie you are awesome.
