Amygdala Ink Tattoo Studio

Amy was awesome. This was my third tattoo with as many artists and by far the best experience. Her studio is comfortable and clean. She works quickly which anyone who has gotten tattoos can appreciate, however she still manages to produce top notch work. She was very responsive, engaged, and welcoming. Anybody around CT or East NY definitely consider her for your tattoos!!

There is nobody better. Amy is such a pro and an incredibly talented artist. I went in with a picture and left with a vision, it was an amazing experience start to finish. I have had tattoos from several folks and none of them come close to the attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and pride that Amy took in her work. She worked with me start to finish from initial idea to final tattoo ensuring that i did not just tattoo some picture on my body and instead tattooed a physical representation of the vision I had for the design. Truly the best. The conversation was light at times and meaningful at others and i could not have had a better experience. Day 3 of healing and everything looks great!

Getting tattooed by Amy was an excellent experience. She not only took my ideas for a tattoo and made them better, but she truly listened to me to create exactly what I was looking for. Hands down the best artist in so many ways!Having not been to a studio in a while I’ll admit I was nervous and forgot how it all went down with aftercare and such. She made herself available for all my questions afterwards which was very nice. Amy is a wonderful tattoo artist and I had such a wonderful experience with her! I have a very low pain tolerance and she was incredibly patient and encouraging the entire session. She made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and went above and beyond while I was there. I requested a floral wrap design on my forearm and have received numerous compliements from both friends and strangers. The tattoo healed beautifully and I highly recommend her work.

Amy is truly one of the most talented people I’ve ever met. She takes her art and her craft seriously, and you can tell from the moment you meet her how much she loves what she does. She is so welcoming and I was immediately at ease with her at my first appointment. Her custom work is amazing! Her studio is cute and clean. Amy is absolutely amazing. There are not enough words to describe how truly perfect she is. Her patiences, talent, and commitment to her clients is above and beyond. Amy is a tattoo ARTIST. She is patient, kind, humble, honest, and personable. Amy is an expert— she gives her input in everything and anything related to your tattoo (placement, size, accuracy) to maximize your satisfaction prior to committing without coming off arrogant. Amy treats her clients and the tattoos as works of art, which is something not all tattooists have (which is why I capitalized the artist). She is quick and lighthandaded without being sloppy/haphazard. I cant wait to work with her in the future!!

Not only did Amy get my vision exactly how I wanted it but she was so sweet and so gentle. Honestly feel like we were meant to meet. Her location is so easy to find and love the fact that you can park for free. You will not go wrong picking her to do your next tattoo. She will make you feel like you are family. Going back for more!

Shes amazing!! Got a flash sale tattoo from her at a local thrift shop and fell in love with her style - she did a cover up for me of a bad tattoo I got and she killed it!! She even free handed a lot of it which was so impressive. Shes communicative and thoughtful, clean and on time. I will definitely be seeing her again when my tattoo funds refill!!

Amy masterfully created a piece to honor my late grandmother. I envisioned a crow/raven to be in possession of my Nana’s 💖 locket, given to her at birth by her grandmother. Amy messaged the evening before and we exchanged thoughts and ideas. The resulting image surpassed my expectations and complemented my existing fox and clover (my other grandma 🍀) so wonderfully. It looks like they were made to be together.Her shop is squeaky clean, adorable and very comfortable.She made tattooing look effortless! I ended up with the tattoo flu, but Amy followed up again and again to make sure I was feeling better.The tattoo itself healed quickly and very painlessly.I could go on and on about my positive experience and it still wouldn’t be enough praise!!Thank you Amy. 💕

I went to get my first tattoo and when I looked up “best fine line artists CT” I got a Reddit link and she was the first name listed I checked out her work and it made me book an appointment immediately after getting to the appointment and meeting Amy for the first time not only was the experience comfortable but I felt like I was working with someone who truly cared and worked with me to bring the tattoo idea to life. When I got in the chair and she started the process I talked with Amy the whole time and let me tell you she is one of the sweetest most kind people you will ever meet by the time I was leaving the shop I felt like I had just hung out with a childhood friend not only is she incredible in her work she is incredible just by being who she is. I just want to say that if anyone reading this is ever nervous or intimidated by stepping into a shop go to Amy she will take those thoughts and feelings away and you’ll work with an artist that truly cares and wants the best outcome for you, I’m a tattoo newbie and wanted her opinion on aftercare, things to watch out for, if sleeping on the new ink is okay or not and she got back to me reassuring me that it was never a bother and not to mention how much she goes out of her way to check in on her clients truthfully I cannot tell you a negative thing about my experience I found my tattoo artist and I couldn’t be happier.
