Went with my husband to get tattoos. My tatto was a coverup and the guy could not of been nicer. He had a pleasant experience and I’ve gotten many compliments about it.

Pieter, Casey and Thea are all great- both my husband and I had a great time and are so pleased with our tattoos. We’ll definitely be back for more work.

I was very nervous about getting my first big tattoo- especially since it was a little hard to stay in contact with some of their staff they are usually incredibly busy so make sure that the sketch is done ahead of time within the week of your appointment….HOWEVER, don’t let that fool you!!!I got my tattoo done by Pieter and I swear to god it was the best experience I could of ever asked for. I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else besides him for the rest of my life. IF YOU ARE BEING TATTOOED BY PIETER… DO IT !!! He was incredibly friendly, funny, and just made the experience pleasant. I don’t regret or wish I never asked him to tattoo me at all. Best tattoo artist I have ever met in my entire life. I will 100% be going back! He makes you feel so calm and makes sure you that you know you want this tattoo before getting it; he’s an overall insanely talented tattoo artist. 5 out of 5 stars. No doubt.

After a less than stellar first tattoo experience at another shop I reached out to Anthony about getting some additional work done. From the moment I called the shop to the first consultation Anthony was kind, caring and showed a genuine interest his craft. He took the time during the design process to understand exactly what it was that I wanted and forwarded a proof to me before the day of my appointment. The shop is immaculately clean and the staff are all excellent. The tattoo was completed and the conversation was great. Even if its youre first tattoo youll feel right at home. You wont find a better shop in the area. I cant wait to get back for my next appointment.

I came here for my first tattoo, and it was an excellent experience all around. The shop is pristine. George is awesome. Im prone to passing out, and it nearly happened at the beginning, but he was patient, accommodating, and extremely understanding. I couldnt be happier with the result of his work - Ive seen a lot of shaky numbers in friends tattoos, but he put mine down perfectly. Will definitely return for my next one!

One of the best experiences Ive had at any tattoo parlor Ive been to in the past! Anthony did my tattoo and he was so professional, patient, and accommodating. He made sure the tattoo was exactly the way I wanted it and made any changes I asked. The shop was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely be returning!

Anthony has done all 4 of my tattoos. i followed him when he left Ink Side Out and haven’t used anyone else since. he always takes his time to create the perfect piece for you and prices everything fairly. He’s a very easygoing down to earth guy which makes the experience even better. everyone in the shop is very friendly and has an amazing portfolio to follow. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants a high quality tattoo. the final results are always nothing less than breathtaking.

This place is great, I called a day before to set up an appointment and let them know what I wanted. I had Pieter as an artist and he was absolutely amazing. He captured what I wanted perfectly. My friend also got a tattoo and he worked with him to make sure its exactly what he wanted.

I found Bad Fish Tattoo from word of mouth from a woman I know from the gym and I couldnt have had a better experience. All the staff were extremely courteous & knowledgeable. I was elated with my results. The pricing was extremely fair. I had a realistic flower tattoo done on my ankle by Peter and I would 110% recommend any friend to get their tattoos from here. I love my tattoo & will definitely return to Bad Fish for my next one!

Great place to get a tattoo! I got inked by Pieter and he was fantastic! He was professional and made me feel completely comfortable. The private tattoo booths are clean and well lit. Just an overall amazing experience! I will definitely be back for another tattoo.

Got my first tattoo today & Peter was amazing 😊😊 !!! For my first tattoo i knew i wanted my daughters names ( 2 daughters ) but i couldn’t decide on the design or fonts. Peter came up with the perfect design and lettering 🥰 i was so nervous but excited & my tattoo came out beautiful !! i’m already planning the second! Looking forward to completing my sleeve next 😁 great first experience .

Amazing shop! Very very clean and professional. I had Pieter and he was absolutely incredible. Everything was clean and sterile, he changed his gloves frequently which made me feel really comfortable and he’s hilarious!! Very easy going and fun to talk to. He made me laugh throughout the whole session which took my mind off the pain! Loved my experience with them!

Great shop. I came in with a design printed. It needed some professional tweaking to take it from the page to what I had in mind. George did an awesome job. He took less time than I expected, did amazing work, and charged less than what I thought I would pay. Its only been a few hours and Im already recommending Bad Fish Tattoo to friends. Anthony runs a great business. My fiancée and I have been to BFT three times now for tattoos by Anthony, Pieter, and George. They are all great proficient artists who care about their customers. Like everyone else has said, the shop has a very relaxed and friendly environment and they wont rush your work or try to take advantage of you. Truly winning shop thanks to Anthonys wise business sense and quality artists. Anthony does great color work (went to him for an iris) and both Pieter and George are great B&W.

I was shopping around to get my first tattoo, I went to several shops but their customer service was awful. I went to Bad Fish Tattoo and their customer service was wonderful.Anthony Neave attended me right away, he was very professional and walk me through the whole process. I was very nervous because it was my first tattoo, but I felt real comfortable and the quality of the work is amazing. I got 2 done in 2 months, and I will be going back soon !!!

I just had my first tattoo done by Anthony. The experience could not have been better. While my tattoo was small (literally took 3 minutes) it has huge meaning to me. Anthony was accommodating and I never felt like my simple tattoo was a waste of his time or talent. It is a clean, comfortable atmosphere. Will be back for more!

Formerly Bad Fish Tattoo, the name is now Three Hammers Tattoo, as artist Pieter took over the business last summer. The original owner, Anthony, still works out of the shop.While I understand their art work is good from friends (and the Instagram photos look great), customer service, not so much, imo.Called to see if they were open now during COVID and if they would honor a Bad Fish Tattoo gift certificate I had gotten my wife for our anniversary but that she had not used, as I was looking to get 1 or 2 pieces done.New owner, Pieter, said he did not honor certificates from the old shop name, and, after asking, said neither would the prior owner, Anthony. They didnt even ask how much the certificate was for.So now, instead of getting a new customer, cash for additional work, and future references, they get this review instead.Guess business is good.

Great artists! Anthony (the owner) really takes time to make sure you get exactly what you want. His wonderful artistic talent shines through, almost effortlessly, in all of his work. Really clean place, and very comfortable! Highly recommend this studio to everyone...for your first tattoo, or your 50th!!

I had such a great experience at Bad Fish. I was in an accident that damaged my tattoo and was worried that nothing could be done. I went and met with Pete at the shop and he did the most amazing job. You cant even tell it was ever damaged. Hes an incredible artist. I will definitely go back.

Ive been to many different shops in Fairfield county and I can say that my best experience was with Anthony at Bad Fish. I normally would design my own tats but with my most recent one I just wasnt able to. Anthonys artistry brought my idea to life like I never dreamed. through a couple of changes and fine tuning the idea, we came upon a mutually appealing design that I love. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I have about 8 tattoos from just as many tattoo artist and none compare to Anthony and his team. Im in the mist of getting a full sleeve/cover up from Anthony and Ive never laughed this much while being tattooed, I barely felt a thing. Not to mention his work is top notch. So if your looking for a professional, ultra clean, top notch, tattoo shop; look no further then Bad Fish tattoo.

Got my first tattoo here - was a really relaxed environment. The atmosphere kept me nice and calm, made some great conversations, and the tattoo came out perfectly. These guys and their work are top notch!

I came here with some of my other friends that also wanted piercings. We were never informed we were being pierced by an apprentice and she was very apprehensive about piercing us. She even said that “She couldn’t do belly piercings on minors even if a parent was there because it is an exotic piercing.” Huh?- was her husbands reaction when he heard. She ended up piercing me and my friends, and when it was my turn she assured me this jewelry (in the picture) would be perfectly fine healing if I kept up with the cleaning. I trusted her and followed the instructions. Less than two weeks later I go to my first studio choice for different jewelry because I had a suspicion the piercing was rejecting. When they saw the state of my upper navel they were in shock. The jewelry choice was so damaging to my skin that the other piercers just had no words as to why any professional piercer would ever recommend this type of jewelry. All I can say is this was an absolutely awful first body piercing experience anyone else considering a piercing, please do your research.

Ive been to Anthony twice now and Pieter a couple of times. Both of them were extremely professional every time and made my ideas come to life. My left leg is dedicated to my brother and Anthony has done both of those big pieces. I get incredible compliments on both and the oldest one (4/5 years) hasnt lost its vibrancy!

I found the shop to be clean and professional. I made an appointment and came back to the following week to get my tattoo. My appointment did not take as long as I expected. I am pleased with the result. Also, I was given specific after care instructions to protect the tattoo.

My daughter and I went to Bad Fish to get matching tattoos. It was my daughters 1st. George was awesome. He and one of his coworkers took time out of their day to research the ink to make sure it was metal free. Bad Fish goes above and beyond. We will definitely go back!
