Today my sister and I had the pleasure of getting our tattoos done by Rich. He was absolutely amazing from the moment when came in until the time we left he just made our experience very welcoming . This was my sister’s first tattoo and he did an amazing job. I also had a tattoo done and he did an amazing job as well. I look forward to coming back again. Thank you so much Rich!! Highly recommend this tattoo place! Rich is easy going, skilled, open and creative-drawing out my ideas, and has great music playing too! Very professional, clean, safe, just a comfortable atmosphere. My daughter Lexi and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Rich is our favorite! I am local, was looking for someone to do a Saint Michael piece half outer sleeve. After some scouting around, Rich the owner of this shop. Confidently said he could do it. First impressions of the shop were clean, industrial look. After some further research I appreciated the sharpness in the line work of his catalog. Seeing the amount of years this shop has been opened, and the amount of reviews vs the average amount on a shop. I was confident to go thru with the appointment. He stated hourly rate from the initial meet greet. Which was very fair. I think for the size of the tattoo, being a tall individual with a longer arm. He worked quite fast. It doesn’t take long to realize he’s a veteran in the game. I am pleased. If you like sharpness in the lines. Black/grey work. This is the guy. I actually plan to return in a couple of months to talk about a forearm sleeve. I have ideas of things I would like on it. Hopefully you can draw something up for me. Thank you Rich. YALL I whole heartedly hate my tattoo. I give this place to stars because Rich was incredibly kind and affordable. I had the idea to get a lily surrounded by a crown of thorns. As you can see the crown isn’t circular, it’s almost shaped like a heart. Also, lily petals don’t fall like that. Why is there one petal standing straight up? I didn’t like it 100% when I saw it on paper. I wanted it smaller but it ended up being huge. I want to have some adjustments made but don’t want to make things worse.

Definitely recommend anyone to come here Rich and his team are great at what they do. 2 tattoos done by Rich. Definitely stop by here to get yours done .

There’s a reason Rich Kocis (owner) has done 16 of my 22 total tattoos, and 16 out of my most recent 16. He’s a helluva guy! Amazing talent! I have gotten both of my tattoos from here! The staff is welcoming and very accommodating. They do outstanding work. Today I had Seth and he was a complete gem, and my tattoo turned out even better than I expected!

This was my first time at Peace of Art Tattoo.. I had called and was helped right away on the phone. Seth, took my ideas and created an amazing piece (exactly what I envisioned.) Same day he fit me in! I can’t get over how clean and friendly the staff was. Seth was down to earth and I could tell he was passionate about his work. That made me feel at ease. He was great with adding finishing touches my tattoo needed. I’m beyond impressed and I will be returning and referring this shop to people who want great service and amazing work done.

First time ever being at this shop and my first impression walking in, I was greeted by rich the owner who was very friendly and the ship was very nice and clean. I had an appointment with gabby to get some fillers done on my sleeve but I’m not very happy with how it turned out. Almost every line is blown out, crooked or not complete. Nothing against the shop but I think personally gabby needs more training on simple line work.these pictures are 3 weeks healed

Had the best experience at Peace of Art tattoo. From the very beginning, I was impressed with the level of professionalism, the diversity, and the overall vibe of the shop. I called in & booked with Roba, who did an amazing job and accomplished exactly what I asked for. He had the most gentle spirit, which made me feel so relaxed, and his father (the owner) was the same way. They both offered great conversation, which felt genuine. Everyone was kind. The shop had a calm, relaxing vibe (which was a nice twist bc you don’t always get that with tattoo shops). Roba was patient, focused, and humble. During a time when everything costs an arm and leg, I can honestly say that prices were very reasonable, which made room for me to leave a tip. I look down at my tattoo often and am so happy with it. I will be back again and again. ❤️ P.S. Im about a year late writing the review because I thought I had done it already but better late than never lol!

I was referred here by several friends and family for my first tattoo which was a year ago. I met Rich and he is amazing! I felt very comfortable right away. He did my first two tattoos then and I just returned to him for my third tattoo yesterday. The shop is clean, everyone is friendly and professional. I went to Peace of Art studios for a tattoo, Gabriella did a first class job. It was my first tattoo and I didn’t know what to expect. But it was better than I thought, and Gabriella was very professional. If you are considering getting a tattoo I would definitely suggest Peace of Art Studios!

Ive had many tattoos done here and their work is amazing. I usually have the owner as my artist but had his son, Roba, today and was just as pleased with their work. An amazing family owned business that I would highly recommend. Friendly, professional and amazing at what they do.

This is the second tattoo parlor Ive been tattooed at and the experience was definitely more my speed. When you walk into the parlor its bright and open with original art work and a comfy seating area. The atmosphere is really laid back with very respectful artists - no loud talking or foul language. Madison did two tattoos for me and was wonderful. I told him my ideas and he drew up his draft and they were more perfect than I imagined. His work is very meticulous, creative and clean. I highly recommend visiting Peace of Art Tattoo for all your tattoo needs.

I will try and be brief please read everything. Stopped in Saturday. Roba told me to come back Tuesday for my tattoo. He never wrote my name down for an appointment . Called Monday to see if he needed a picture, since he never wrote my name down he did not know who I was, after talking for a minute he remembered, (before all this I texted him 3 times with no response, messaged him on Facebook twice with no response. Tried to leave a message and the mailbox is full) he told me he would text me and then I will send him a picture, never heard from him. So today I did not bother going, horrible customer service skills, the whole ordeal is kind of strange. How do you trust somebody like that. Made an appointment with someone else already, be careful when places that operate like this

My wife have been getting her tattoos done by rich for 15+ years and we love his work. He lets you know what will and wont work depending on what your trying to do and his freehand is great. The shop is always clean the staff is pleasant and its the best shop to visit for your fresh new ink or upgrading your old ink!!!! Thanks RICH for my cover up

I had Rich do a rose tattoo on my thigh and it looks so realistic!! I was scared because the other place I went to didn’t really care and rushed it, but Rich made conversation with me, which made the time go by faster. Im picky with tattoos and he did more than a perfect job!!! I definitely will be going to him to get all my tattoos done from now on!!

Had a large upper arm tattoo drawn up by Mitchell at Peace of Art Tattoo. He did an excellent job listening to what I wanted, and sent me a couple sketch revision before we finalized on a design. The facility was clean and comfortable, and the result was amazing! The price was very reasonable, too.

I just finished getting a tattoo done by Madison. He is EXTREMELY professional and has some of the best line work I have ever seen. If you are looking for a clean, safe and professional shop.. look no further. Peace of Art Tattoo shop is hands down the best shop around and Madison is by far the most talented artist in the south suburbs.

Rich is my go to guy. Reasonably priced, down to earth and an amazing artist. He did a 3 quarter sleeve on me almost a year and a half ago and it still looks fresh! His shop is very comfortable and calming. Look his shop up on Facebook as well if youd like to see his other work. Im not sure why there isnt a million reviews on here lol

Wanted to get a tat done in honor of my son. Saw many other customers reviews and thought Id give them a try. Rich was great. Communication excellent, pricing was very reasonable, clean establishment. And got me done in no time. I highly recommend them.

I got exactly what I asked for. No shading or extra flare was done. Amateur work. I would recommend going elsewhere for lager/detailed pieces.Yes I got exactly what the picture showed. But how come when I went to 9 mag after you guys I got a picture of what I wanted plus shading and darker looking ink ?? Needless to say one of your artist only been tattooing skin for 7 months. Which is an amateur . I was just being honest.

I recently got my wedding ring tattooed at Peace of Art. After visting a couple other local shops I felt like the artists were very rude and didnt take the time to help me with what I wanted. I then came to Peace of Art and talked to Madison. He was very helpful and offered a couple different options for the style of tattoo I was looking for. I went there for my very first tattoo and seen Claire. Im a huge baby and she made me feel so comfortable! I watched her take out a new needle and dispose of it after she was done. Rich took a couple of pictures of what I wanted and combined into exactly what I asked for. Reasonable prices-clean-less of a hassle than going into Chicago. Definitely 5 stars. Quick to heal, no issues. Love it
