Ageless Arts Tattoo and Body Piercing

I highly recommend you get your piercings done here and with Alexandra. She is a perfectionist and that is an awesome quality to have as a piercer. Piercings are not cheap, so it’s so nice to know that my piercer takes each piercing seriously and does excellent work each time. Alexandra used a special sterilized tool to measure and make sure my piercings were even and had equal spacing. She took her time and explained the full process. She did NOT eyeball anything and she was so clean…I mean so very clean. She used gloves and changed them as needed throughout the process. She also rests you flat, uses bright lights on the area to be pierced, has a huge mirror where you can check that you like the placement and makes you feel so comfortable from beginning to end. Alexandra practiced breathing with me prior to each piercing and this is why I think that the pain was minimal, even the cartilage piercing. Please tip well, as I have been to other “professional” piercers and they don’t do 25% of what Alexandra did. By the way, the 3 piercings I had done were the cheapest I have spent on piercings. All three were $35 total for the work and with the jewelry, everything cost $189. It’s a steal! In the photos below you will see that the studs are all the piercings I got that day (third hole bilateral lobes and one helix). I will 100% be back to see Alexandra for a hidden helix and I can’t wait!

I got 3 helix piercings by Alexandra, and could not be more happy with the results! Alexandra was so patient with me as we went over jewelry options and we found the perfect styles for a price I was very comfortable with. I went with two matching opal titanium studs, and one solid titanium heart stud. We matched two helix piercings in the same place on both of my ears, and did an additional helix piercing above the first on my left ear.The piercing room was very clean and all products were sterilized and/or one time use. Alexandra did fast and gentle work with so much precision! I’m in love with the final placements of my piercings, and Alexandra will be my go-to for any future piercings!

Alexandra was amazing!! she was super helpful and nice and help me picked out jewelry that was fitting for my personal style and ear anatomy. i could tell she made extra effort to make sure i was happy with the results and made everything super clean.

I had a septum piercing with Alexandra and she did a really great job! She was very nice and made me feel comfortable. She also provided good information on aftercare.

I went to Kati for my tattoo at the Oak Park location. She’s amazing! She was professional and a pleasure to work with. She answered my questions thoroughly and did an amazing job with my design. I got a butterfly tattoo behind my ear and I love it! I would strongly recommend her to anyone!🫶🏾🫶🏾

I came here for some help with an ear piercing, and worked with Alexandra. She was wonderful, very thorough following safety protocols and a friendly disposition to put me at ease. I got my rook, helix, and lob pierced by Alexandra. She was thorough in explaining things and helpful in picking out the jewelry. She made sure I was happy with the placement before the piercing.The actual piercing itself wasnt too fun, but it was over quick enough and its been healing great so far!

Alexandra was great ! She explained every step as she did it whether that was marking to make sure everything was even or selecting the jewelry and she reassured me that if I needed a minute to breathe before she did the next nipplè. Alex even talked me through my piercings !

Got my first ever piercings here and it was an great atmosphere! Quick and easy process. Glad I got them here.

This place is amazing, been there twice for piercings, I did two every appointment, and was always greeted warmly.It’s been about three weeks since my last appointment and went in with getting a helix again on one ear and an industrial on the other. But Alexandra was kind enough to let me know that it would likely not be possible due to my ear not being suitable for it. We changed course and she even gave me an alternative way to get something closer to an industrial, which I’m so grateful for because I was a bit sad.Charly is great as well and I have always felt calm as he did my piercings. It’s very obvious that he enjoys the work he does, it’s such a spiritual experience where you come out feeling more connected to yourself than when you first entered. I’m an anxious person but after my first set of helix piercings, I actually felt my anxiety lessen over time. I’d like to think that Charly’s spiritual and calming atmosphere helped out a lot, which is why I went again for two more. It was just like the first time, calm and welcoming.Totally recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy place to get pierced! I’m starting to think of going in for a tattoo in the future as well!

Update 3/14/23 - went in today for a septum piercing with Charly and it was once again a phenomenal experience. I left happier than I went in.I have repeatedly had great experiences at both Ageless Arts locations. The environment is comfortable and everyone is super friendly and professional. This is an amazing place to go for piercings , the jewelry selection is incredible, ( not limited to a few cheap options like most places are).

I saw Jonathan today for a tattoo in the Oak Park studio. I’ve have many tattoos before but I have to say, sitting in the chair with Jonathan at the needle was like floating on a placid lake. I drifted off in calm thought forgetting where I was! He’s very skilled and super sweet.

Charly and Alexandra were wonderful. Charly kept me informed of what he was doing the whole time, made sure I was relaxed and answered all of my questions. Once he finished the piercing Alexandra was very gentle with tightening the pieces, as pain free as it could possibly be. I went there for an eyebrow piercing and I will definitely be back for my next tattoo. Thank you both!

Charly (piercer) and Alex (assist) gave me a smooth experience with my philtrum. They were friendly, reassuring, and quick. They made for my placement was on point and showed me that everything was clean.In terms of pain, it was about a 4-5, although its subjective. At the time of this review, Im on day 4. The swelling was the worst on day 2. The piercing is still swollen and achey but healing well.Thanks Charly and Alex! Yall were great and Ill be coming back for a downsize and another piercing!

I had an appointment with Momo. I love how professional and easy going he was. He made me feel completely comfortable. He took his time with explaining everything and making sure I fully understood everything from caring for the piercing and everything that he was doing. Everything was wiped down and clean. I would recommend this place to anybody! I got 3 piercings done and he did a wonderful job with all 3!

Momo is the absolute BEST!!! Not gonna lie, I was nervous getting my double and cartilage pierced bc I haven’t had my ears pierced since I was a baby. Not only does he make you feel at ease with his witty banter, you can tell he has so much knowledge about piercings. He reiterates everything you need to know in order to take care of them. He also reassured me that he would help me out for the next 6 months during the healing process. I don’t think I could have had a better experience.

Got pierced at the Oak Park location about six months ago. I went in to get a shorter post because the one they put in was too long and the receptionist gave me a very hard time about buying a freaking post. She was very unprofessional. Very disappointing. This was not my experience when I initially got pierced by the owner.

Momo did a phenomenal job piercing me! I went in wanting a couple piercings and after looking at my ears made solid recommendations to achieve the look I was going for. The overall experience was so so easy. He also sterilized everything and made sure the whole process was explained. I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family in the future.

Fantastic little shop. Got two small tattoos that Ive wanted to get done for a while now. Tony was excellent, a very light touch, extremely clean, and easy going. Both him and the piercer (Momo?) were super friendly and kept me laughing and comfortable through the session. They were also great with the other clients who came into the shop. If youre getting some small work done, Tony will knock it out of the park.

Went to Momo for my doubled nostrils and I will go to him for all my future piercings. He was incredibly thorough making sure everything was even and symmetrical. He explains everything in detail and is very clean which helps calm any anxieties you may have.

Go get pierced by Momo. Just do it. My friend and I called an hour before arriving to make sure there was a spot for us, she wanted a pair of upper lobe piercings and I wanted an eyebrow piercing. I went in here to ask about getting a tattoo of my late mother’s hand writing. They were very short with me and told me that they wouldn’t do it the way I wanted ( place and size) because it would ruin their reputation if it didn’t look good by their standards. I’m sorry, but if it’s going on my body forever I want it how I want it. I went to another tattoo shop and they did exactly what I asked and it looks amazing! Especially upset because it was my mother’s handwriting and I didn’t want it altered. Plus they were going to charge me double what I ended up paying at the other shop. Would not recommend.

Charly was great! Went in for a daith piercing feeling a little nervous. After talking to me I wasnt nervous anymore. He showed me the sterilizing process. Disinfected everything. Environment was great! Will be coming back.

I have to admit I was nervous when I first came in because if some of the reviews. I came as a walk in and they werent too busy . The shop was clean and organized, I told kat what I wanted and she helped me pick a font and we were ready to go, she talked to me as she did the tattoo it helped distract me. It was a little more pricey than i expected but Overall she did a fantastic job, she was friendly, professional and I love my new ink

Wanted something for my birthday in July and I got 2 tattoos. one was a memorial for dog that had passed away in June. And the other was a cover up from years before that was horrible ( unprofessional job meaning AMAUTEUR) Anthony did a great job. Absolutely love my tattoos. Got so many compliments.

Eric did my first tattoo two months ago. I find it very detailed for a minimal design. (Its a skull) He works in a very professional and personable manner and his pricing is very reasonable. My tattoo healed without trouble. I intend to return to him for my next tattoo.

I started going to the location in Oak Park and have come across some great artists I started off with hardly any tattoos and now have both my arms with half sleeves, my back cover up a hand tattoo and love going to Ageless for their artwork

One of the tattooist just made me feel like I should go somewhere else and then had the nerve to give me the information to schedule a tattoo session that she denied me threw some online website. Just trashy and made me feel like I was being discriminated against. They are just dirt

To expensive they charge 35 bucks for a noise Pierces without the jewelry and then you have to buy their jewelry and its 15-20 bucks.. I paid 10 bucks with the jewelry for my noise pierces.. so when I went I thought its was 35bucks for everything but it wasnt so I ended up leaving and going back to the place I got the first one done for 10buck with the jewelry 😅

First experience was slightly nice... The tattooist was calm and gentle... The piercing guy was a bit nervous but calmed down some and was alright after that... Overall 6/10...
