My favorite tattoo studio by a mile. Harley is absolutely cracked, his work always blows me away, and I adore the atmosphere and how accommodating he is. Absolutely recommend, the tattoos are well worth the pricing.

This shop is the place to go if you want a head turning piece of ink. The owner, Eris, did a full leg sleeve for me and I could not be happier with the end result. He is talented, efficient, and respectful. I wont go anywhere else to get work done. Looking forward to getting my arm sleeve there this winter. Simply the BEST.

I got my tattoo done by Joni and was very happy. He was very helpful and you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his job. The place itself is very nice, clean and organized. Parking is a bit of a hassle since its street parking and theres signs that say 2 hour parking only. I had the appointment at 10am and Joni immediately got started with the design. I wanted something original and he managed to come up with the perfect design and didnt mind changing a couple of things last minute. It took about an hour but it was well worth it. At 11am he got started and finished at 2pm with three 5 min breaks throughout. I completely recommend Venture tattoo and Joni for the amazing work he did. I will definitely be back and get more.

Tattoo Artist, Anthony Jolon refuses to respond to any text messages or emails regarding a touch up for a tattoo that he charged $2,200.00 for.Not only is this unprofessional, but very disappointing & disheartening.I would NOT recommend this artist at all! For the price he is charging for his work, you would think that he would have more respect for his clients. If you decide to get work from him, get some form of contract signed by the both of you.

I enjoyed my experience in Venture Tattoo. Very comfortable environment. Wide range of music and isnt overwhelming like most tattoo studios. Harley has been my artist for many years. He is very kind, talented, accommodating and pays close attention to details. I could go on but his work speaks for itself. Highly recommend this place!

Eris has done one of my sleeves and is working on my second. I firmly believe in researching your artist prior to starting a tattoo, and I cannot express how talented he is- as well as the other artists in this studio. I trust his opinion fully, knowing that his knowledge and experience will give me great art work. It is a very clean environment, everyone is very welcoming. I highly recommend Venture tattoo.

This shop is absolutely great; super clean, very chill, the entire atmosphere is quite enjoyable. All of the artists are incredibly talented beyond belief. Theyre also all so sweet. I have been getting tattooed by Harley for years. Hes so kind, patient, understanding, and just a lovely person all around! I will continously be back!

Fantastic little shop in Oak Park. I went to Harley who went out of his way to make sure the design was solid, and that I was comfortable throughout. Prices are on par with the market, but low considering the level of talent. Check out the work on Instagram… amazing stuff.Another positive… the place isn’t overly edgy. You aren’t walking into a room of dudes posing tough with metal blaring so loud you can’t think. Music was definitely playing, they just weren’t making a statement with it.

Love this place! Nice, clean environment and everyone was super friendly. I got my first ever tattoo with Nelly and shes the best. She did an AMAZING job and I will definitely be coming back to her for my next tattoo.

Second time getting a tattoo here. This next tattoo was done by Nelly. It was a 5 hour tattoo session for a quarter sleeve. Black and grey realism style and I love the way it came out. Nelly was very professional and shes extremely talented. She paid very close attention to all the details in the tattoo. She was also gentle and kept asking me if I was ok with the pain and if I needed to take any breaks. Venture Tattoo is a wonderful shop full of very talented artists. Its extremely clean and its in a great location. Ill definitely be back.

I got my first tattoo ever done with Marinela. She got the intricate font I brought in perfectly and the whole experience was so quick and painless. The studio was clean and had a great vibe.

Today I got my first tattoo done by Nelly. She was very kind and made sure the pain wasnt to bad throughout the tattoo as well as making sure the tattoo looked perfect. The tattoo came out even better than I pictured and will definitely be back to get my future tattoos done by Nelly.

Best tattoo artists in the city. My experience here was amazing. I had to book my appointment a few months in advance but it was worth the wait. People come here from all over the world to get tattooed. The staff are very professional and helpful. The space itself is very open and welcoming. My artist, Eris Qesari was awesome and took my input on exactly the kind of design I wanted. He is very dedicated to high quality work. One of our members had a tattoo with Daniel which was great so decided to get a second one. His first deposit was used for the second tattoo. He wasnt sure of the date only to call and was told by Daniel that the date was past and had forfeited the deposit. At least you expect a professional business to call you a day ahead of an appointment to remind you of your up coming services. This wasnt the case. Our Unions spend lots of money on tattoos every year and hv advised ourselves

Jeff is the best. My fiance had her nose pierced by him. Im a nurse, and I like to think I know a thing or two about sterile technique. Jeff certainly does and his understanding on skin care and the recommendations he makes are more than appropriate, they are incredibly thought out. Thanks Jeff for caring, the average person may not notice, but the nurses likely think your swell!

Jeff was great! Totally accommodating. He pierced my septum and was more than happy to ensure that it was as perfect as he could possibly make it. Extremely friendly guy. He eliminates that stereotype about piercers being unfriendly and intimidating. He does a great job of making you feel comfortable and ensures that you leave with the knowledge you need to maintain the health of your piercing. The shop had a nice vibe going for it. Very well lite and open, which is a stark contrast to many other tattoo and piercing shops. If your looking for a friendly, well lite, and open tattoo and piercing shop then look no further. Loved getting my septum pierced here!Jeff is AMAZING. Incredibly down to Earth and walked me through everything before we got started. We had emailed back and forth a few times because I had questions, and I arrived feeling nervous, but more at ease because we were able to communicate beforehand. When I walked in, I was greeted by various different artists, and asked if I wanted a water or anything else to drink. A nice clean and friendly atmosphere is a huge plus.Jeff is friendly, professional, and super quick at the piercing! He took time to answer questions and work around any needs I that had. Better yet, the piercing barely even stung. (plus, it looks hella cute)I will definitely be coming back for any other tattoo or piercings in the future. Thanks, Jeff!

Everyone here is amazing. The shop itself is so clean and comfortable and the artists are truly gifted. My boyfriend has a larger piece on his arm (including a cover up) by Joni and I was lucky enough to have a couple small tattoos done by him too. Amazing work, and well worth the money. If you are getting something permanent on your body, this is where you want to be. I would never go anywhere else.

Jeff did my septum piercing and I couldnt be happier. He was very professional, answered all my questions, and helped calm my nerves. Ive had multiple body piercings done in the past, but this one was definitely the smoothest and least painful. Jeff absolutely knows what hes doing, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Let me start by saying I have drove from Detroit to denver for tattoos and this is my second time coming to Chicago for tattoos. Out of all the tattoos I have had done not only was this shop the cleanest but it was also the best work I have had done. I came in with with a small idea but nothing set in stone and within 10 minutes Eris had a great idea that worked out awesome. The whole staff has been great since I first started booking the appointment back in may. The person that gave the negative review is not telling the truth because they emailed me Everytime as well as calling me multiple times to go through ideas. Im very indecisive and they took care of me 100%. I spent more money for a tattoo at another shop that didnt even seem worth it but this time I can say it was worth it and I WILL BE COMING BACK for more in the next 6 months. ✌

Wonderful shop to go to and worth my hour drive. Eris killed both of my tattoos. First I came for Frankensteins monster and returned for the Bride of Frankenstein. Will definitely return in the future. The shop is beautiful and all of the artists are welcoming.

Me and my sister were pierced by Jeff. First off, this man is beautiful. He is a work of art. My sister went first and had a targus piercing and I had got a daith piercing. We talked throughout the entire process. Jeff gave us details on how long hes been in business and how he suggests we take care of our piercings. Last year, I had the misfortune of getting a mall piercing and Jeff can fix it so Ill be back. Im now much more comfortable getting pierced, even though I have several I think hes definitely one of the best around. So were lucky to have him as a local piercer

Experience overall was great. The artist Joni was great. The shop was very clean. Daniel who attended to me when I entered was great. What can I say more but the art that I received was exactly what I was expecting. This shop is very diverse with great clients.

Jeff pierced my nose and he is the best piercer ever he is super chill. everything’s sterilized and pricing is different with every stud you use but it was so amazing and he was so nice to me. 11/10 recommend jeff.

They repeatedly ignore emails and calls. Theyll say they didnt get your email and picture after sending its 3+ times. If you look at the pictures the artist/company post, theres no one of A darker skin. Coincidence? Dont think so. They ask for placement photos in my opinion to see who theyll be servicing. Not where. Ive emailed them over 7 times with each time them saying they didnt get anything or didnt get the picture. 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

Ive been going to Eris for about 5 years now and will not go to any other artist. Venture Tattoo Studio is a great place with a relaxing atomosphere. Highly recommend them.
