They pierced my daughter’s ears and did such a great job!! We love their selection of earrings and they work great for my daughter and I ‘s ears! No issues with irritation or anything. Highly recommend for everyone of all ages!!

Super cute and fun! Was absolutely perfect for me and my sister, but my 3 y/o niece I think should have had both ears pierced at the same time. Completely understand we aren’t the only people in the world!! Just wouldn’t have minded waiting to make it a better experience for her!

This is such a wonderful place if you’re in the market, some new flare. The jewelry is such great quality and the staff is amazing! A friend and I went on a whim and we were able to get an appointment very quickly. Just went back for a post change. I love that this piece of jewelry is something I can keep in and not have to change out and it looks great with everything. If you’re on the fence just say yes and treat yourself.

My daughter had a double piercing done at Rowan a few months back. We had a great experience and so we came back for a helix piercing today. Gretchen was great at explaining everything that would happen and was very gentle and encouraging. The piercing looks great and we are happy!

I took my two year old daughter today to get her ears pierced and our experience was nothing short of wonderful! The ladies who helped us were so sweet and made each step fun for my daughter. It was so clean, the girls really took cleanliness and sterilization seriously. Plus it’s just the cutest little shop! I wish I could’ve had an experience like this growing up, I’m so glad we chose this place.

Just took our teenager daughter for her 2nd lobe piercing. They did a good job and she is very happy. I was a little taken back with how much it cost. I really think they should have some cheaper earring choices. I didn’t realize each earring would be $60+ each til we got there. But again, they did a good job and my daughter is happy.

We had an awesome experience at Rowan. We got our 10 month old daughter’s ear pierced for the first time. Gretchen was great and made us feel at ease. She explained it all before the procedure. Very hygienic, friendly and overall would recommend!

I’m so glad I chose Rowan to get my piercings done. I initially chose them because of the facility being run by nurses, so you know they will be attentive and not rush. When I walked in I was happy seeing amount of lovely high quality options for jewelry and how clean and organized the place was. I was immediately approached by one of the nurses who got me checked in, discussed my desired piercings, and gave advice on what would work best since I have scarring from previous botched piercings. The placing and piercing process was heavily focused on being at a pace I could handle. Even still the process was quick. I got four total piercings and was in and out within 40 minutes. It’s the next day and I have very minimal pain and swelling. I really love that they encourage a follow up appointment to check on the piercings in 30 or so days. I don’t know of any other piercing places that offer that. As someone who has had reactions and infections from reacting to piercings, it’s great to know they see getting a piercing as an investment and protecting that with support that goes beyond selling aftercare products. The photos I took are only a few hours later with minimal swelling and redness.

We always love shopping at Rowan! My daughter and I both have sensitive ears and have had such great luck with their earrings! The staff is always so helpful and kind! Highly recommend!

I initially had a good experience but now i don’t know that i would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully others learn from my mistake! I went in and got my 3rd and 4th lobe piercings done, at least that’s what i requested. I told the staff that day that if i didn’t have enough room for 4 lobes then i only want 3. They assured me many times that i had space for a 4th lobe so i went for it. Well, she pierced my cartilage instead of my lobe on one side and now weeks later it’s still in extreme pain and affecting my daily life while the others have healed up just fine since they were in the lobe as i requested. I wanted the lobe piercing specifically for the healing process and to avoid the pain of a cartilage but i was misled and the incorrect part of my tissue was pierced. I’m now unable to wear my work headset properly or talk on the phone like normal because of the pain.. it’s keeping me up at night and I’m not able to turn my head and lay down, again, i was assured many times that there was ample space on my lobes…and it is not infected as i did a round of antibiotics last week thinking that’s what the pain was a result of. So, I’d recommend a place that actually specializes in piercings or only see them for your lower lobes. I have gotten all my other ones done at SB Body arts and never had a single issue… not to mention it cost me $450 for 2 ear piercings while SB costs came with the jewelry for less than half that. Cant believe i paid $450 for my piercing to be done incorrectly and to be in this much pain for so long!

I love that they use licensed nurses for the piercings! They made sure I liked the placement and explained each step very well. Great selection of jewelry! You definitely should go to Rowan for your ear piercings.

10/10! We were shopping at Classen Curve and saw Rowan. We literally didn’t know what it was but it looks cute and inviting so we decided to pop in. My four year old loved looking at everything then she saw another little girl get hers ear lobes pierced. My daughter immediately wanted to get hers done too. The team at Rowan was amazing! They made my daughter so comfortable even after becoming slightly nervous. She got to pick out her earrings and sit in the cutest chair. As soon as she saw her earrings, it was all smiles! She had to FaceTime all her grandparents to show off. Thank you guys for being so amazing!

That was extremely gracious and kind of them to do and is a HUGE reflection on their company values and how much they care for their clients. Thank you all so much for going above and beyond in doing that! In case the question comes up, the earring just fell out. It had nothing to do with how it was installed. I don’t want this to be misinterpreted as someone didn’t do something right. It was just an unfortunate situation that HeyRowan stepped up to fix. THANK YOU!!We absolutely loved coming here! The service is amazing, and this couldn’t have gone any better for my 6 year old. She used the needle piercing method and there were no tears at all! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe, reputable place for piercings. We drove 3 1/2 hours, and it was completely worth it. The ONLY reason I took a star off is because one of her earrings fell out after 2 weeks. Since we couldn’t find it, I had to rush to buy another pair before the hole closed up. Putting another earring in was not a fun experience for her. I do wish there were some different options that provide more security for them not to fall out. For the price of the earrings, losing one after two weeks hurt my heart a bit, especially since I had planned to put them aside as a keepsake for her. Beyond that, wouldn’t change a thing about picking this place!

Honestly I was happy when I found this place was like awesome a nurse is doing the piercing. When we showed up the lady immediately told us we would have to use the gun on my 8 year old because she’s a little scared. There is 100% a reason almost all piercing/tattoo shops do not use the gun or even offer it. PLEASE do your research and not let them use a gun on your child. Doctor’s offices even offer ear piercings only with a needle. Also the jewelry prices were outrageous as well as the piercing. Immediately left and went to 23rd street piercing. 10x cheaper and done by a real professional!!!

After reading all of the great reviews online, I decided to take my 4-year daughter here to get her ears pierced as an early Christmas gift. We had a wonderful experience! I have gone several times for piercings and usually all is well. I got two piercings in May and the jewelry that claims to be gold and hypoallergenic had to be removed the other day because the piercings not only won’t heal but the jewelry is cheap and infecting them.I won’t be back based off this last experience. It’s overpriced and it’s been the worst overall healing process from a piercing I have ever been through!

My 10 year old wanted a helix piercing for his birthday, sadly we did not do the research to know he had to be 12 for such a piercing. Not only did the staff offer a cuff for his ear and do an amazing lobe piercing, but they were so kind and patient with his last minute freak-out before the piercing. He LOVES the final result and 2 days post piercing no pain, redness or swelling! Well-done team Rowan!!

My experience at Rowan was so great! My helix piercing was fast and didn’t hurt badly at all! The only thing I’m sad about is that I wanted my earrings to have gold posts, and they gave me silver without double checking, even though my receipt says I purchased the gold ones. I went to another local shop to get my children’s ears pierced. I decided not to go with them and look for another option after their customer service representative treated us very rudely. Given that the only difference between a piercing gun, and piercing device, is the spring loading, it doesn’t change the horrid tissue damage and long term effects of not doing the piercing correctly. With that being said, it’s sad that hacks like you exist, what you do is depressing, unsafe, and unethical!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Everything about the shop is amazing. The girls were very cheerful and made conversation so it wasn’t awkward silence. I went in to get some general information because I was thinking about getting some new piercings. I went to a few different places to feel out the vibes, but wanted to check this one out. The girl who helped me, Caressa, was very helpful and informative. As stated previously, I did try going to other places but people came off very nonchalant or rude. Caressa smiled, was enthusiastic, and made me feel comfortable. On top of that, the place was very clean and nice. I plan on getting a piercing here soon, and I am definitely referring my friends to this location.

Essence was phenomenal with my daughter when she was getting her 2nd lobe piercing. She made my daughter feel so comfortable and was through in making sure she got the placement just right. I would highly recommend her!

I’ve had my ears pierced twice with no luck, so I thought I’d try a different place, so I went here. They told me on the phone when I called that they have some kind of new technology to pierce ears, so they don’t use a gun. So I went paid $120 and they used a gun on my ears, but that’s not the reason why I’m leaving a bad review. I’ve had my earrings in since the end of March, they are on so tight, and I’m having the hardest time getting them out. I’m absolutely terrified to have these removed without any sort of numbing cream that’s how tight they are on. I’ve never had this problem before, I wish I would have never went and got them done again, especially not at this place. If I could give them a zero star review I would

I TOOK MY 5yr OLD IN TODAY, MIND MESAYING I CALLED A FEW WKS AGO TO GET MORE INFO SINCE SHE IS 5, THEY SAID SHE NEEDS HER RECORD SHOTS, BIRTH CERTIFICATE AND MY ID. AND I ASK HOW MANY PIECINGS MAY SHE GET ON EACH EAR THEY RECOMMEND NO MORE THEN 2, OK SO TODAY I WALKED IN. I FILLED OUT THE APPOINTMENT ONLINE.THE GIRL WIT BLUE HAIR AND FACE PIERCINGS DID (NOT) ASK FOR EITHER MY ID NOR THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE SO I COULD HAVE BEEN NOT RELATED TO MY LITTLE ONE. AND SHE SAID THEY ARE NOT ALLOWED TO DO 2 PIERCINGS ON 1 EAR UNTIL SHES 9. NOW I DIDNT SEE MUCH PROFESSIONAL PPL HERE IF THERE NOT ON THE SAME PAGE.NOW THE PIERCING LADY SHE WAS THE SWEETEST HANDS DWN. BUT YA SHOULD CONSIDER A MORE PROFESSIONAL PERSON AT THE REGISTER. 1st time not using a professional piercer and won’t be making that mistake again. Way overpriced. They’re very proud of their pricey “hypoallergenic” jewelry. The “pressurized” piercing device is just a fancy way of saying it’s a piercing gun. She either didn’t put enough pressure behind it or the machine jammed, but on my 1st ear the back didn’t “engage” and she had to physically pull the gun off of my ear. It was pretty painful. Again, not 100% sure what happened. For the 2nd ear, she pushed much harder and it went smoothly. Be aware, you pay per ear, per hole. So already over $100 just for a 2nd piercing in both of my ears. Then another $60 for jewelry. If you want it done with needles, it’s cheaper, BUT you then pay per piece of jewelry. So $35 for 1 hole, so for both ears that’s $70. Then for 2 earrings priced at $60 each, that’s another $120 just for the jewelry. And you cannot bring your own. Insane. Save yourself time, money, and pain and go to a professional piercer.

I came in with a group of friends and family and the staff made our visit so fun and easy! They were great with both kids and adults alike. They took the time to talk through the entire process and were very knowledgeable about placement and jewelry selection!

I absolutely loved the store. Their top priority is cleanliness and knowledge which I enjoyed, however they pierce with a gun. They don’t exactly call it that, but that’s exactly what it is. I have 4 cartilage piercings on one ear (all done by needle) and never had any issues with it. I got my cartilage pierced here about 5 months ago and no matter the cleaning or care I do, it hasn’t made a difference. It’s continued to become infected, swell, etc. My piercing was done at an angle so it was very difficult to change out. I should have never gotten my piercing after seeing it was going to be performed with a gun. I won’t be coming back.

My almost-5-year old has been asking to get her ears pierced for months - I made an appointment, but when we got there she started to get nervous and began to go back and forth on whether she wanted to do it or not. It’s a Saturday, so they started to get busy - but everyone, even the other customers waiting, were so nice - just a good calm/positive atmosphere overall. Once we got to the chair, my daughter really started to get scared. I wanted her to decide on her own if she wanted to “go through with it,” which as you can imagine, took a while. Sydney (I believe?) was SO nice and just so unbelievably patient. We never felt rushed and I really felt like at any time my daughter could have changed her mind and it would have been met with positivity vs frustration at the waisted time (you don’t pay until it’s all done). After the first ear they gave her plenty of time to get ready again for the other, and were so good about allowing her to lead the entire process - no pushing her to do it or saying it didn’t hurt, etc.All that to say- great experience here and would definitely recommend for lobe piercings if you are okay with using a piercing gun. It does look like they may offer “needle” style piercings at some point, too, but not yet.

Went in to Rowan today hoping to have a good experience, however I left with a bad taste in my mouth that is going to keep me from coming back. I walked in, there were 3 nurses there chatting together. It went completely silent once walked in and it was very awkward. They wouldnt greet me or say Hi or ask me if I needed anything. I wandered around a little bit before I went up to them myself and asked about a piercing. They acted really arrogant and not very friendly or welcoming at all. I felt very uncomfortable in the environment and decided I wouldnt be comfortable getting a piercing here. If you dont want to work with people then maybe you shouldnt work in customer service
