Bloodline Tattoo and Body Piercing

I came early April to get my ears pierced (three in each helix.)Since then, in my left helix, Ive had two piercings fall out. One I could not get back in no matter what, so I left it out, and the other one happened while Ive been in Chicago. I went to a local piercer because I couldnt get the earring back in and didnt want the hole to close.The local piercer was horrified over the state of my ears and piercings. She said the reason I couldnt get the earrings back in was they werent pierced correctly. She said my hoop earrings should have had a ball in the middle to keep a passage open in the ear as it healed. She stated the hoops werent even probably closed, which was the reason for my difficulty in getting my earrings back in (which admittedly, I had been wondering about because I know that Im supposed to change out my earrings after a certain time but I wasnt able to insert the earring through the front to back hole.)On my right helix, the back of my ear is very bumpy where the piercings are. She said that I was at high risk for keloids, which are only permanently removed by surgery and cutting off parts of my ear.She said that professional piercers should have never allowed me to pierce both ears in one sitting because of how the ear heals and that I should have been given adequate care advice, like buying a travelers pillow and sleeping on the non-pierced side for at least six months. She gave me paperwork about what a piercing was supposed to look like as it properly heals and what it looks like when it doesnt. My ears looked like the latter.She told me any piercing shop worth its weight should also be a part of the Association of Professional Piercers because of their health and safety standards and expectations. She also advised I take out my piercings and let my ears heal (which I did), gave me a care package with care directions, and said that if I do decide to get future piercings, Im going to have to make sure that the piercer has a larger sharper tool because of the botched job this did. The piercer was going to just swap out my hoops for studs, but once she examined my ears, she said they had to come out and I needed to heal for a while.I cannot oversell how alarmed she was that my ears looked the way that they did, so much so that she didnt even charge me for the 45-minute consultation and service she gave me.Im extremely disappointed about this; not only did I lose time, money, and six piercings, but I may end up permanently scarred. I did what I thought was adequate piercing research but apparently, some of this falls onto the piercer and their professional knowledge and guidance.I wanted someone to know about this in hopes that its examined and corrected in the future to prevent damage to anyone else. Im freaking out about what could happen to me and I dont want anybody else to experience these feelings.

I was referred to a guy named Chris that does tattoo work there, well I think he does tattoo work. So my experience that day with him was not good, I dont know if he was having a bad day or what. I have many other tattoos from small to large and every experience was great and made me feel comfortable, welcoming and worked with me as they should, especially if its your first time there. Being a business owner myself you want to make sure the customer is happy in every way possible. So after only by text that he preferred I wanted to meet in person and see some of his work since I sent him a picture of what I wanted which was the Serenity prayer that looks like being torn out of my skin. Well he said he can make it look better than the photo I showed him so he agreed to meet me at Bloodlines at 3, Im a very punctual person so I was there at 2:45 sitting there waiting and the hole time he was there in the back. At 3:10 he sent someone else up to tell me he wants $500 up front then I had to have the guy thats not even doing the tattoo go back to the guy doing the actual tattoo that I would like to see some of his work and to see how much better he said he can make it. The artist? Comes out upset asking if Im having second thoughts and he needs a deposit and I asked him how much will the total cost of the tattoo would be he says $500 so I asked, well 🤔 your asking for a deposit of $500 so Im actually paying for the tattoo in full before he even started and he still hasnt showed me any of his work. What he said next was he has spent 10min talking to me and that time was money so I looked around and saw a total of 4 guys that worked there, 1 was sleeping in his chair, 1 was sitting on the couch playing on his phone, 1 walking around like he was confused and the other was asking for $500 dollars before he spent 1 more minute to talk to me, show me his work or even tell me what he has even done for me. So the patient person that I am I said thank you but Ill need to get back to you. I dont know his deal or what hes going through that day but like they say. You never know what the other person is going through so be patient and kind and dont ever pay for anything in full before hand. FYI in the state of CA by law you can not collect more than 10% for a deposit but once you start the work you can collect up to any amount of the total job.

Bryan Ramirez couldn’t do a simple helix piercing on one of my friends(she was to shy to complain) and was left traumatized I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone else, get this man out of your store or get him better training. ps tell him to stop being weird and making female clients follow him on his social thank you.

Im not one to write reviews. But this one I HAVE to. I’ve gotten two piercings here. One belly button piercing a couple years back. He pierced my belly button so so crooked, and stabbed me an extra time once the needle went through so I had a cut on my stomach. The second time I went in was for a tongue piercing, different piercer but same outcome… it was so badly crooked. I have 12 piercings and the two that I got here I removed because they were just so terrible. WASTE of money

I’m not sure what to think. Pros. I was able to have a walk in appointment. So far the piercing is good. A little irritated though. It seemed clean but there were several businesses going on in a warehouse.The piercer was nice but distant. Didn’t really want to communicate.Cons- payment was via Venmo with just a first name. So I don’t really know who got the payment. Made me feel it might be under the table. I cannot remember seeing a license or certificate posted from the state.It was overpriced. $100 for ear piercing. There were no Price Lists available.So far it’s working.

My wife just got a belly piercing by Bryan Ramirez. After, the piercing was done he took off the earring cause it was “too small” and he replace it with another one and tried to push in carving on her open wound until he finally had to use the same catheter to pierce her again after she almost pass out from the pain. I was very unpleased, if you want a piercing I highly suggest everyone to go somewhere else. They don’t seem to be profesional…

I got a piercing done here and I absolutely LOVE it!! He did such an amazing job. Got it perfectly in the key part of my locket. I was visiting from out of town and so thankful I found them. They were friendly and the shop was very clean. Thanks again for my favorite piercing I’ve ever gotten!

We went in today so my daughter can get a Rook piercing and a friend decided to get a Helix too. Brian was the one that did them. He was so nice, attentive, gentle(not aggressive at all), patient and most of all clean and very conscience of keeping his area and everything sanitized. It was an upbeat cool place. We definitely will be back for sure.😁

Great place for large color or black and grey tattoos. I have received all my tattoos here from Chris as well as piercings. He is always professional and honest regarding the style of artwork he enjoys completing. If you are looking for an outstanding, experienced, award-winning artist, I highly recommend his work.

What a great shop to get piercings tattoos haircuts great staff, Chris Reyes, the owner and his brother two great guys. They always make sure everybodys happy. Got a great lineup of guys in there. You really cant go wrong. I came in here because my piercing fell off while losing a ball piece, while also tightned to the point where i couldnt put it back it. This shop not only gave me a new piercing but they perfectly put it back in.

Tried to get a tatto at Coachella but was unorganized. Figured i would have a better chance at the actual store, but I called a few times with no answer. Same store number as cell number. I would suggest a business line only. Came to the location 30 minutes after the store says open and was closed. Edit store hours for us out-of-towners.

Took my 6 year old there to get ear piercing. The place exceed my expectations!Super friendly when I call to inquire about the process and appointment.I cannot be happier with the level of service.Bryan is the one that pierced my daughters ears and he was very professional and experienced. The process was painless and quick my daughters ears didnt even get red, she never complained of pain and they are healing perfectly.Definitely recommend 10/10

Do NOT get your naval piercer here. I left with a surface stomach piercing instead of an actual belly button piercing. the jewelry didn’t even go through my belly button. When I realized that my piercing wasn’t right after several outside consultations, my piercer blamed the different opinions from my consultations on “competition” and didn’t refund me.Plus, they offer confederate flag ear gauges so do with that what you will 🙃

I got a tattoo here recently, the Behelit from Berserk on my right arm. From my experience here as a walk in, once I paid and it was established I was getting something today, my artist drew out what I wanted, I was nervous about it not being what I wanted exactly but was pleased surprised. I got a tattoo better than I was hoping for, my artist continued to work on it after closing time and didn’t cut corners or doing anything cheap. Was very knowledgeable, carried a conversation even though I’m more of a quiet person. I was comfortable enough that I fell asleep during the tattoo multiple times. Spent 300$ and got a quality tattoo that was definitely worth the price.I was able to get a good quote for cover ups, future tattoos and was given good instructions on after care. I decided to leave this review after it healed to give a fully accurate response. Very happy about getting a tattoo here and when I have enough money I’ll be back here again.

I was referred to Bloodline by a friend of mine and from the time I walked in, the guys were very helpful. I talked to Bryan, gave him my vision and he drew it up. Made an appointment for the next day and he had it done efficiently and it came out clean. I definitely recommend Bloodline and I will be going back for some more work.

Came in after calling to get a septum piercing. Young man working advised me to grab a card and text the owner/piercer to setup my walk in. Shop is clean.Septum Piercing: Piercer basically clipped my septum, took a look, and rammed a needle through, without any breathing directions at all. Afterwards, piercer didnt loop jewelry through the needle backing when he pulled it through, so the far side closed up. Took a few tries to get it to finally push through, straight up sucked (a bunch of nearly passing out, blood, and bottled water), but finally popped through. Felt like a bad pimple letting loose. The entire time this was happening, the young counter guy kept bugging my piercer about how to sell product to other guests.To the manager: Consider training the staff to manage the front desk and sell stuff. And especially etiquette when a piercer is with a client. If this was my first body piercing in general, it wouldve been my last. I get that things happen, but holy hell.Overall: Piercing is in, looks good, and is healing well. The jewelry placement issue was the major negative.

Since the last time I came to get my ear piercing, lets just say it has improved- the environment. The setup on shop looks awesome, clean and inviting. Megan so nice, very helpful, sat down with me and listen to my needs & professional. Came in talk with Chris, my tat consultation went great. He listen, gave great input, understood what I wanted. Thank you for making my day better. I truly cant wait to get this done.

Their piercer Bryan is AWESOME - very informative and gentle. He walked me through everything he was doing step-by-step as he was doing it, and he was very unintimidating from start to finish. 10/10 would recommend and will go back for my next piercing! It was $70 for my septum, jewelry included.

I went to this piercing shop with no appointment and brought in my own earrings that i purchased the day before and were super easy going allowing me to use the earrings I brought when other places didn’t. Bryan who did my piercing was amazing and did a it quick and professional and was super nice to my mom and I. I would definitely recommend getting a piercing at this shop!

Had my vertical labre piercing done here & it’s ended up crooked. But the shop is very clean, friendly professional employees, everything seemed pretty on point as far as the business goes. I understand that not every piercing ends up perfect. I did not point it out or ask for it to be redone, so I’m not going to dog a business when I haven’t given them a chance to fix it. It’s not bad enough that it will be noticeable once I’m able to replace the piercing bar with a shorter bar, so I’m not super worried about it.

I got my nose pierced for my birthday a few days ago and he did a pretty good job. It didn’t hurt at all in fact I thought he was still clamping it I was very surprised. Only thing I would say is they had said it would be 60$ but it was actually 70$ but I don’t mind because I was aware the piercing would be around that price. The ring is a little big but that’s not really a problem because it gives the piercing room to heal. Overall a good experience and no pain.

Very awkward experience. Waited a while inside while the piercer sat and talked to other people outside for 20 mins. Then when it finally came down to getting my piercing, I didn’t even get offered a mirror to see the final results. They just rushed me to pay and tried to get me to buy their care products. Definitely am not going back because I’d rather stick with prior piercers who make the experience welcoming and comfortable.

Dropped in for a nose piercing jewelry switch and everyone was accommodating. Clean and classy place, and my husband got the best beard trim of his life there too. Go check them out, you won’t regret it.

Tattoo was cool, service was not. My artist offered a break only to do another customers dermal piercing. They spent an hour on her while my skin was getting raw. Overall Id find a new shop.

As a minor, this was my first time in a tattoo parlor and it was definitely a good experience. I got a nose piercing and its healing really well and the jewelry was great quality. All the people were really friendly as well! Wound wash was available to buy after my piercing as well! :)

My experience at bloodline tattoos has been nothing but amazing! I am a regular customer of the artist Memo. I have gone to him for every single tattoo I have which has been a total of 16, safe to say I trust him and how much of an amazing job he has done. They have an amazing studio, very clean and professional. If you are looking for a tattoo artist I really recommend this tattoo shop and especially Memo.

Please don’t go here to get a piercing. I had the worst experience getting a piercing here. The piercer doesn’t have a good education on piercings. I basically educated him on how to give me a vertical labret piercing. He rubbed my skin raw with the clamp that he tried to put on my lip for 10 minutes. I have a scab under my lip from him rubbing it raw. Piercing jewelry is unorganized and he touched all the jewelry with his bare hands. Also, he didn’t use a disposable marker. He used a sharpie that he probably uses on other people. Would not recommend to go here for a piercing.

I got a tattoo on my breast and the ink didnt stay the two weeks(it takes a tattoo to heal) then I went back to get the color redone and you would think I wouldnt have to pay for their mistake but I ended up having to pay more. And get this it was done by someone whos not experienced enough to be doing tattooing(apprentice) and has been messing up on prior clients tattoos. I would not be back or recommend this place to anyone.

Had an appointment with Cris the owner for some new ink Cris was perfect once again always excellent work with very high professionalism when he is in his zone cant wait till I Im in his chair getting ink 💯💯

I highly recommend Memz @Bloodline tattoo! I walked in for a small cover up on my hand & left with a beautiful & feminine sunflower 🌻I was back in the chair only a few days later for a four hour piece on my back.🐦🌿 Again I left with some gorgeous artwork & couldnt be happier! Both of my tattoos were done by Memz! Thank you for your attention to detail & soft hand! Its been 3 days since my back was completed & its healing nicely! I will be back for more work soon 😊

The piercer seemed inexperienced and was not communicative.The kid at the counter interrupted multiple times and it was extremely distracting, unprofessional and could have been avoided with basic training.At least the piercing is healing well.

When I called to find out about the daith piercings for migraines I was told on the phone that to get both ears done with jewelry would be a $100. When I went in I paid the $100 and we sat down. The lady upfront told me that the piercer would be at the shop in 15 minutes but an hour and a 1/2 later he finally shows up. He was rude he was upset that the lady only charged me a $100 when he said he charged to 80 per ear I explained to him that I would have to come back when I had a 160 and he got an attitude with me and was not very nice or courteous when he did the piercing. I asked him about a tattoo and how much he would charge and he kept cutting me off with the price when I wasnt finished explaining to him that there was more work to be done other than the basic tattoo, and I have decided to get my work done elsewhere. Im sure they do really good work but my experience was not what I expected it to be.

One of the cleanest tattoo shops Ive ever been in. The front desk girl was friendly and courteous. Chris Reyes is an amazing artist and completed my work in a fairly quick amount of time. I highly recommend this shop. Cool people.

I went here in November of 2018 and in June of 2020 you would think the nose piercing would be healed or at least have no difficulty removing and putting in a new stud but that wasn’t the case. I had trouble throughout changing and cleaning. I cleaned like clock work but putting in the piercing was painful and horrible. I have to go to Adornment to get my nose properly re-pierced. Avoid this place at all cost for piercings.

I have gone to the tattoo artist memz for all my tattoos. He is extremely professional and clean. He is very fair with his pricing especially for the quality of work that he does! I can’t say enough good things about him and his work!!

A friend of mine went to get their first tattoo and after the first 2 weeks the tattoo ink faded when she returned the owner said “the tattoo artist who did it has been messing up on other people already and she’s an apprentice and had she came back a week prior they would have fixed it for free”. So then when she returned, she had to pay again, this time a male tattoo artist, and the ink is darker on the first half of the lettering and the last half is faded. Unfortunately a tattoo this small the size of a pinky finger that says “princess” .

I had an amazing experience! The people working were so nice and helpful. The place is very clean and taken care of. 10/10 I highly recommend getting your piercings here.

I got a tattoo from Chris back in October, and he did a great job...I was going to be back in town and I reached out to him 6 weeks prior wanting some color add in and him to do a cover up for my husband. I reminded him numerous times in the 6 week period and he even committed to it, np. The evening before the tattoo he acted like he knew nothing about it, but after refreshing his memory yet again, he said to still come in at 3. Apprehensive, we did and we sat and sat there until another artist asked what we wanted. A bit annoyed, we explained, and was told Chris wasnt coming in and if we waited until after someone elses apt- that Im sure wasnt made a month earlier- I could get my color but my husband was out of luck. Then after minutes of talking suddenly we are told Chris was coming in later. Was so confusing and so unprofessional. We were both really looking forward to that day on ourvacation and we were swept under the rug. Supposedly after we decided not to waste anymore of our vaca sitting there Chris said he showed up...lol..at 4 when the apt was at 3. I was also told someone was there to work on one of us at 3, which was also not true. So disappointing especially after a very good 1st experience.,

Had previously gotten pierced here then after some time I realized that I got pierced with low quality jewelry.Went in wanting a triple forward helix and the piercer had absolutely no idea what it was. I showed him a photo and he said yeah he could do it. I felt so uncomfortable with the fact that he didnt know what it was but was willing to do it anyways. Ended up going to Adornment instead.

Frankie does excellent work and has a great demeanor. Extremely happy with the work and customer service I have received both times Ive been in. Everyone in the shop is very friendly. No matter who does your work, I dont think you could go wrong. Keep in mind though they are cash only so come prepared!

I came in for a cover up tattoo done by Memz he had originally told me the price would be $400 & also stated I would need a touch up Which he had stated he would do at no cost since it was just the red color that was being touched up. When I went back to schedule with him his mind changed and he asked me for $100 More . Just to fix the work he didnt do right In the first place!? Save your time and money !

Got a few piercings and completely regret it. My ears are sensitive and I asked for titanium...turns out I wasn’t given titanium. My piecer was rude, and it seems like they don’t know what they’re doing, I don’t recommend.

Such wonderful experience, they took us in late and were able to do the art work we wanted, it was such a beautiful piece, very thankful and for a wonderful price as well, will be going back and letting everyone I know what a great place this is, very friendly, clean and sanitized, Chris did a wonderful job.

Clean, friendly, and we are really happy with my niece’s piercings.

The piercer twisted the piercing into my noise and it messed the whole piercing. The stud would fall into the whole of the piercing where it was flashed to the skin of my noise.

Piercer who claimed he had been piercing for 17 years couldn’t pierce my nose straight, was rude and ignored all my questions. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend.
