From start to finish, we had a great experience here! They were very knowledgeable and educated each of us on our different piercings: septum, nose, and tragus. The jewelry selection for the standard piercing is super cute and Haley is quick and you can tell she loves doing this!!!

Mike is a excellent artist. My friend and I got matching tattoos for a friend who passed away. Im very pleased with how it turned out.

Hate to make a bad review but they have no loyalty or work ethics at all. Beware if you have any problems due to thier careless work. Hope this helps someone from wasting money and painful recovery. They dont stand by thier work at all. Refused to fix thier mess up and have to fine a different store to fix it. Asked to talk to owner and told they dont take calls but can send a email to by the manager. Dont waste your money or time.

I went in as a walk in and I knew along the lines of what I wanted. Dan was helpful and nice from beginning to end. He tweaked my piece to stay in my budget and I love it so much. I will definitely always choose him and I will recommend him for sure.

Getting a tattoo for the first time was a little daunting, but from the moment my friend and I walked in our anxiety was eased due to the supportive and helpful manner in which we were treated. I highly recommend this tattoo/piercing shop!

Haley is hands down the best piercer I’ve ever had. She was so communicative and comforting to my friend who has a huge fear of needles. I would recommend her to anyone, especially people who are nervous about needles or piercings. I’m sad I’m not a local because I would go to Haley for every piercing from now on if I could.

Me and my boyfriend both went here to get our cartilage pierced here. The first time we came I forgot my ID so I was disappointed but when Hailey pierced my boyfriends ears her happy personality completely took that away and I was anxious to come back the next day and get mine done. She was quick, thorough, offered piercing after care and best of all both me and my boyfriend LOVE our piercings. I will definitely come back in the future to her for more. Also, about 3 months ago she pierced my nipples and she did perfect with that and I also love them too! I have plenty of piercings but she has been my favorite piercer!

I came in as a walk in to get my septum pierced, they were so kind and the piercing only took a minute to be done. He wasn’t a slow piercer and made everything quick and easy for me as someone who is squeamish. Everyone was so kind. My piercing had healed well and the jewelry has held up to even a year later.

I started my first tattoo there back in 2002. Many tatts later I have returned. My go to guy Tad just moved to the shop from the one I got to have his work done at prior. Place looks great. And Tad is awesome in any tatt environment.

Thad did an amazing job on my wedding band finger. So amazed at his artistry and skill. Took no time at all and hes a really cool dude. Will definitely be back for my sleeve work soon!!!

Came with my little sister to get her first tattoo, which she was nervous about. The front desk people and the artist Dan were suuuuper helpful and accommodating at helping her set up the tattoo she wanted. Both me and my sisters friend ended up getting tattoos as well and I can’t recommend this shop enough.

I went to get piercings in a place that could be awkward but the piercer Haley was so so amazing! she was nice from the moment i met her til the moment i walked out the shop! made me feel comfortable and was so sweet. made the experience quick easy and almost not painful at all! And was very informative about aftercare. HIGHLY recommend visiting her for any piercing desires!

I got my belly button piercing done there and the jewelry quality is HORRIBLE. It is too short and gave me permanent scarring from how cheaply made it is. I also got my doubles and triples pierced. I loved my doubles but my triples were pierced crooked and too high. I started going to a more reputable piercer who informed me my second piercing on my left was also crooked so I have to temporarily retire the piercing. Save yourself some trouble and go to a different shop specifically ones that automatically use titanium jewelry.

Took my newly 18 year old daughter to get their first tattoo. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to go! Fantastic (and caring) staff from start to finish. Sean B did a wonderful job! We would definitely recommend Threshold!

I got my first tattoos at threshold when I was 18, I got two walk ins and one flash piece from a book. The front desk workers are knowledge and very helpful and kind. Everyone conducted themselves very professionally. The flash piece done by Rachelle is AMAZING! She does a lot of great contemporary black work! She also has amazing prices for the quality of work she is providing. However, my other two tattoos (very simple) are of much lower quality. They are both not straight lines, not consistent and make me embarrassed to have due to the quality. My choice of tattoo isn’t poor, the artists inability to draw a line made it poor. Blow out on my pieces have been minimal thus far two years out. Overall, an average studio. I would advise to visit Rachelle for phenomenal contemporary work but otherwise, the remaining artists show rather poor quality in their work. Most of the tattoos portray what you want, however, fall flat when needing shading or saturation.

Their licensed piercer is great, barely even felt the forward helix go in! I went back for a conch & cart & was given the option of half price of I let the apprentice do it. Just $32 for both & she did fantastic! I love the placement she used after I told her what I wanted to put in each piercing after it healed. I highly recommend Threshold!

Went here for the first time over the weekend to get a snakebite re-done, staff was super nice & knowledgeable! Haley did a great job on my piercing, and keeping me educated on healing hygiene. Ill definitely be coming back 🖤

Awesome place. Staff is very friendly and helpful and I got me a new guy to handle all my stuff. Not just a tattoo guy, but an artist. He can build on something and has ideas too. Makes a big difference in the tattoo game. I recommend John for sure.

Went here to get a tattoo and they quoted me $400- that’s four HUNDRED- and said I would need an appointment because it would take hours. I went to permanent vacation tattoos and got the exact same tattoo for $140 on spot, took 40 minutes.

Love this place. Went in as a walking to get a new piercing for my birthday. They were extremely professional!! Piercer definitely has a ton of great experience! Now my name is almost even lol. Definitely will be back to get the other side done!! Maybe even a couple new tattoos as well. Definitely worth looking into!! And be spontaneous

I had a piercing done by Haley in a VERY sensitive and invasive area, but she made it so quick, easy, comfortable, and literally painless. She is so professional and skilled. I will recommend anyone to go to her for any piercing. She was wonderful

Me and my SO came here to get our ears pierced, me for the second time and them for the first. They asked our preferred names and pronouns which is super awesome. Haley was our piercer, and she was very nice, quick, and reassuring. My SO is nervous about needles and had to sit down after their piercings, they were kind enough to give us a water and popsicle to help get their blood sugar up. Their jewelry is also all good quality and hypoallergenic. We had a fantastic experience and cant wait to come back for more.

I got my cartilage pierced here about 2 weeks ago. hailey was the best! everyone there was so nice and the environment was amazing too (very clean). i highly recommend going here for a piercing!if you are under 18 you have to get parent consent and it notarized so keep that in mind before going!

Brandon has done majority of my piercings and he is just absolutely the best. He redid a bad septum piercing I had gotten from a different shop, and Brandon pierced it perfectly straight. He took his time to get the perfect placement on everything hes done for me. Hes really laid back and informative, doesnt rush me through the appointment at all which I really appreciate.

My sisters and I wanted matching tattoos and called in to see if they could take walk ins. They said yes, so we went. The shop wasn’t as clean as it should have been and one of the tattoo artists (I think his name was Mike) and was a complete jerk. Save yourself some trouble, and avoid this shop.

Have had piercings here before, and it was always a good experience. went recently to get snakebites from hailey and she was awesome! she placed them well, the piercing went smoothly, and i was pleasantly surprised to find out later that the jewelry ends actually had little diamonds on them!

I have used Threshold multiple times for both tattoos and piercings! While the quality is great…the customer service isn’t always. Very disappointed. I’ve waited forever for their hours to match up with mine to get my nose ring changed out…showed up and was told they closed soon and couldn’t help me. It would’ve taken 5 minutes. They don’t care about their customers.

Everyone working there was super nice and helpful! Even though they were busy, they took the time to make me feel welcome and comfortable! I went in to get 2 piercings and they talked me through the entire process so that I did not feel nervous at all! The piercings turned out amazing and I would definitely go there again!!

This place is awesome! the shop is clean and the decor is wonderful. the piercings are the cheapest in the area ($47 before tip) without the forfeit of quality. i got my septum done earlier today and its already starting to heal up comfortably. everyone was super polite and i was given a card detailing aftercare. would recommend!

John the tattoo artist that worked on me today did an awesome job. I had a son that passed away a year ago Monday August 1st 2021. I had a picture of a tattoo that he has on his back. For all the friends that passed before him. He made it look exactly just like the other tattoo that my son had on his back and put it on my arm and it looks exactly the same as my sons tattoo on his back. Thank you good job John. I will pass on a good word for you.

DO NOT get your piercings done by Dennis. He has a terrible attitude and he will pretty much man handle you and make your piercing experience very uncomfortable. The rest of the staff that I got to meet was very sweet and genuine. They made me feel very comfortable when Dennis got my nose ring stuck in my nose and left me unattended for a long period of time while I was soaked in my own blood. I felt as though he was not appropriate for piercing on other human beings. He got frustrated and cursed a lot and seemed very much inexperienced. He also didn’t prep me up well enough as far as cleaning my skin before the procedure. For the rest of the crew, they’re freaking awesome! I applaud them and they will be the reason I come back to threshold tattoo. If I could do it over I WOULD NEVER IN MY LIFE GET PIERCED BY DENNIS AGAIN.

Have been here for piercing and a tattoo years ago. So, I decided to take one of my daughters there for a nose piercing. First day I called (Monday evening)to make sure that the piercer was there and to make sure what documents I needed before heading out there. My daughter & I headed there & once we got there, we were informed by Red that the piercer wasn’t there that day..,,..same day I called, as he had to be with his wife for surgery! I then called Saturday in the early afternoon and was told that the piercer was there. We got there an hour & a half later just to be told that the piercer went home due to a family emergency 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ this Red lady just acted like it’s ok!!!!!! To make matters worse, I made an appointment with a tattoo artist & was informed by Red that my $80 is REFUNDABLE if I call & cancel my appointment before time. I called following day after I’d made my appointment to cancel & the story changed to my money isn’t refundable but I can reschedule!!!!!! At first she stated that she had a lot of people waiting for service and if I could hold…. I stated sure. Then she asked if I was sure I wanted to cancel & not reschedule.., I replied that I wanted to please cancel….. that’s when the story changed to my money wasn’t refundable. That’s plain stealing. What am I being charged for with me cancelling a week prior to my appointment? Conveniently the manager wasn’t in either & she doesn’t know when s/he will be there. I’ll never return to threshold or refer anyone.

I had a great experience at Threshold Tattoo. The location was clean and the artists were awesome. I love my tattoo and was very satisfied with the amount of consultation the artists gave prior to starting. I had John Moore and he was AWESOME!!! My friend had Kirk and he was also AWESOME!! If I ever get another tattoo, I will definitely come back to these guys!!

First off, Ive only been to tattoo parlors in North County. So walking into this place, I was in awe. Its well lit, clean, and has a professional feel to the place. The main desk has a plethora of body jewelry to choose from too.So I got my tongue pierced here after being told by another piercer that it couldnt be done. Brandon was very knowledgeable and professional. When I first got there, he took a look at my tongue and said it wouldnt be a problem. I was in and out within ten minutes! I will definitely recommend Brandon and this shop for anyones tattoo and piercing needs.

I went to Brandon to get my septum and belly button pierced, and had a really great experience. Also, my partner got his nostril, and his son got his ears. I really love how comfortable Brandon made us feel, and he answered every question. He was super professional, and really knowledgeable while still being very nice. I just want to go get more piercings because of how great Brandon is :)

I would not go here for a piercing. I went and got both traguses pierced. She didn’t pierce me with a bar for the swelling. Didn’t use a flatback. My ears got so swollen that the piercing was getting embedded into my ear. Got major piercing bumps. Had to go to another piercer to get the right size bar in.

I visited Threshold recently to get a nose piercing and was unpleasantly surprised with my experience. The girl at the front desk was very kind but my piercer was quite short with me. He had his back to me the entire time except when putting the needle through and provided me with no information or after care instructions on how to take care of my piercing. My piercer never turned around to look at me or talk to me after the piercing was done and I had to ask the girl at the front desk for napkins because I was bleeding so much. He basically put the ring through and then said I can leave. The ring ended up coming out of my nose recently and I went to get it put back in at a different shop and they provided me with a laundry list of after care tips and information which was extremely helpful considering I had no idea how to take care of it before. Im not sure if the person that was doing my piercing was the designated piercer so I do not want to say that their regular piercer wasnt the best, this is just the experience I had with the person who did my piercing that day.

I went here to get a very simple tattoo. Once i get there they said they had somebody to do it. The guy starts tattooing me he is like about half way done with the tattoo and he goes “i really don’t know how to tattoo black skin.” If i was told this prior i would have just left. A few months later this is how my tattoo healed. I have tattoos older than this one that Still look new. Uploading a picture of how it healed. The other bad experience i had was with the piercer. She came in like a hour late it was a line waiting for her. Then she starts doing my tragus piercing and she was very unprepared because once she stuck the needle through my ear then she started looking for the jewelry. So, i was sitting there with the needle through my ear just bleeding and swelling. She ends up finding a tragus bar, but it was too short and she said that due to the swelling. The other girl asked if she wanted a longer bar she said no, but she still seemed confused. She ended up using the shorter ball which was too small it was no room. I left and about 20 minutes later it was blood gushing from the piercing. It was blood running down the side of my face as well as in my ear. Then about a week later the ball popped off the piercing due to it still being swelled.

I went with my sister and we both got our first tattoos together. It was very clean and everyone was friendly. Kirk did our tattoos and he did a really great job! Im in love with my tattoo and will definitely go back for my next one! They even do walk ins if they have time opened.

Wouldnt recommend for nose piercings.I went in to get both of my nostrils pierced and they ended up visibly crooked. The bottom of my nose is tilted slightly to the right, but the left piercing still ended up higher than the right. I ended up taking the left one out a couple hours after it was done so I can get it re-pierced once its fully closed.

I have gotten over 25 hours of ink done here, and have gotten a nose piercing as well. My tattoos always get compliments, and I have never had any issues with the healing process. My artist is honest, professional, and makes sure everything is perfect.

Got my Tragus pierced here in October . I went here before because my nose piercing fell out and my piercer wasn’t in town so I had to get it back in before it closed up. Love Brandon and he did an awesome job putting it back in with no problems. Decided to try Come here since I had an awesome experience with my nose piercing. Little did I know, it was going to be a disaster. When I went in, the piercer seemed like he didn’t care and we were an inconvenience. I had no problems with the piercing until a bump started to form. I went back and told them about it and they didn’t care and just told me to put vitamin E oil on it. Mind you he didn’t even look at it and I brought up that the bar was too short for how much the piercing kept swelling up. He told me it wasn’t necessary. Now, 6 months later, it’s not healing properly and it keeps swelling up and almost sinking into my ear. My piercings have never given me trouble like this. I’m disappointed because I love my Tragus but they simply won’t give me a longer bar. Moral of the story I went back to my other piercer and she said the bar was way too small.

This was the BEST place I have ever been to when getting a Tattoo. They do not mess around. You get the price (which is very very reasonable) but then when it comes to the actual tattoo, Jason is by far the greatest tattoo artist I have seen and had the pleasure to have him do work on me. It was perfect. My piece Was dedicated to my mother and it made her ball of happiness. I couldnt ask for a better tattoo and a better reaction from my wonderful mother. Want a good tattoo? If youre looking for an artist whos going to work with you on your concept and make it even better than you could imagine, you dont need to look any further than Dan Johnson. I went in with a simple design and Dan took it to a level I didnt even know was possible.Professional, friendly, fantastic conversation and dedication to his craft.

Very unprofessional. Had appointment scheduled for a week with deposit paid. The day of my appointment I arrived at my scheduled time, only to be told that my artist called off, and that there was nobody available to do my tattoo. All the appointments for that day for that artist had been crossed out, but nobody bothered to call or text me that they needed to reschedule. AND my paperwork that I filled out, which also had a copy of my ID could not be located. I will never come here again, and I will never recommend this place to anyone either.

Went there over the years for my first few tattoos, loved the place but no more. Went in to get a memorial tattoo for my mother & another one for my kids. The artist for one tattoo told me it was going to be well north of $350 for my moms. And at least $250 for my kids. All the tattoos I have from there cost me $380 total for two forearm pieces & a back piece. Now mind you the tats I was going to get were very simple & would be smaller than the ones Ive gotten before. When I balked at the price & told him how much I paid there for each of my tats he called me a liar. I have since gotten my moms tattoo elsewhere for $80 & Its perfect & the artist is going to touch up for free one of my other tats! Thresholds you lost a very loyal customer. I would recommend everyone get a second opinion on the price of work from there. Saved me $300

Yesterday Brandon did my rook piercing and I’m very satisfied with the result. They pierce the rook with a standard curved barbell, so the price is always the same for everyone which I thought was really nice. (I was worried about falling in love with a specific piece of jewelry and not being able to afford it!) At Threshold they were very cautious around COVID-19, and only allowed one person in to be pierced (no friends, but if you’re under 18, a guardian is obviously allowed). At first it kind of freaked me out when she told me my sister couldn’t come with me, but they made me feel very comfortable and I liked that they were being careful in order to keep their customers safe. After the piercing was over (Brandon did it very quick and talked to me before and after so that I wasn’t nervous at all), he told me that the Walgreens across the street would have saline solution, and even told me the specific aisle! If I were to ever get another piercing or a tattoo, I would for sure come here again and I would recommend that you do so as well

So the shop is really cool, people are really cool, very clean. BUT I am not super happy with the tattoo I got from them. I got it a little while ago, and recently went to a different place to cover it up, but it ended up being impossible to cover it up because the artist from Threshold had dug so deep into my skin and was so heavy with the lines that my skin scarred horribly and the tattoo is very dark and raised. This is super upsetting because I originally picked the artist because her work seemed very delicate and detailed, but she basically dug a trench in my skin with the needle. The experience wasn’t bad, and she was done in ten minutes, but I would have rather her have spent more time on it to give me a better tattoo. I will not be back here.

Recently popped in with my husband to get tattoos. He wanted an airforce tattoo and I wanted a finger tattoo. The lady who talked to us had her glasses perched on the end of her nose and was very condescending. She told my husband his tattoo would cost 800 dollars and my finger tattoo wasnt recommended because it looks dirty after awhile and they DO NOT do touch ups. There was no one getting any work done in that studio that day and I can see why. We went to Permanent Vacation in St Charles...they got us in immediately (and had a lot of people waiting) and got 2 tattoos for 500. My heart goes out to the artists that work there. The front desk lady with the librarian glasses and bad attitude is stealing money out of their pockets. Get someone up front that likes customers and doesnt think tattoos look dirty.

2 months ago I got a piercing done at a different shop. I was having problems with it healing so I called and talked to the employees at Threshold to figure out what was going on. Come to find out the jewelry that the other shop gave me was too short. So I came into Threshold and they helped me pick out the correct size and even helped me put it in . It looks and feels so much better ! I highly recommend this place for your tattoo and piercing needs . The employees are nice and the shop is very clean . I will be back for more piercings and tattoos.

I would strongly discourage anyone from going to Threshold to get piercings done. I had the most basic piercing, side of the nose. The first guy took probably 15 minutes to actually pierce it. I do not think he knew what he was doing. Didnt explain anything to me. All the while, I am in a ton of pain. Less than 2 weeks later my piercing comes out with my towel while drying off. They give no tips on things to not do. So I have to go back to get the ring put back in. Another guy this time. But he was even less knowledgeable. He put a screw in top in and again they dont tell you what they are doing and tons of pain. I tell him my nose is very swollen; are you sure it will be big enough? Yep! The next day I wake up and the earring is embedded in my nose. I had to dig it out of my skin! Needless to say, I went to another shop in town and she was amazing! Explained everything to me and even though my nose was very swollen and the earring embedded there was very little pain! This should not be as miserable of an experience as I have had with this company! And btw this is my first negative review. I dont typically do this type of thing but no one should experience this!

Let me tell you that this place is top notch ! All the artist there know their stuff! The girls working the front desk have always been friendly and the owner of the studio has always made me feel welcome! Dennis has done my last 6 tattoos there that have turned out awesome. He does great work ! A true professional!

Just got my second tattoo there. And they do amazing work! Very respectful and nice. My wife also has gotten three tattoo from them. Best place to get tattoos! Will drive any distance to go there for another one.

Highly recommend this shop and the piercing artist I saw! I called about a walk in and was seen in less than 5 minutes after arriving. The artist was awesome and talked me through everything. She even refunded me when my regular earring holes didnt need to be repiereced. Very clean. Very fast. Reasonable prices.

The staff here was very nice. When I went here to get my nose pierced I made it very clear that I was allergic to certain metals and that I needed one of the best metals such as titanium. The piercer charged me an extra $10 for titanium and four weeks later my nostril piercing is infected. I went to see a different piercer and turns out the titanium nose stud I thought I got, is nickel, the cheapest and worst metal you can buy and wear. I would not recommend this place for any of your piercings.

We had to wait an extra week to get our appointment, and the counter help was pretty confused. Then, Kirk Nitszche showed up. He did my daughters first ever ink, and it was actually one of the best pieces Ive ever seen! The same night, he did new work for my wife and myself, and all of them came out great, with some Kirk flair added to each. Well done, and we will absolutely be back!

What you are looking for in a tattoo parlor, very clean almost hospital like. Excellent staff, the artist are very friendly. Love the redesign Rachelle did for me. Im into cycling and my jeep and bike are called BlackSkull so put the two together. Check out their artist portfolio, cant go wrong with any choice. This is my third from Threshold. Update. Went back and had Rachelle do another big piece, again friendly artist and courteous staff.

After researching a lot of different shops around St. Louis, my friend and I decided to check out Threshold Tattoo. We went in one afternoon and talked through the design and set up appointments for the following day. Kirk worked on a very simple script tattoo on my side and was absolutely great to work with. I had given him the basic idea of what I wanted and he definitely went above and beyond my expectations and made sure that I was completely happy. (We had to redo the design three times.) I would recommend Threshold to any of my friends and would be more than happy to drive over from KC to work with him again.

I had my first tatoo done there. The artist worked with me to get the design just the way I wanted it. Clean and professional shop, I felt very comfortable there. My wife also went and got a tattoo there. Will definitely be back to get more work done.

I went in very spur of the moment with a rough design in mind for a small tattoo, just a word on my inner bicep. I knew I wanted it to be done by Kirk, as a friend of mine was tattooed by him with a very similar design and it turned out great. This was my first experience getting a tattoo so I was extremely nervous. Kirk was so helpful and immediately put my anxiousness at ease. Extremely quick, well priced, pretty painless, and I couldnt be happier with how it turned out. Highly recommend Kirk for anything you have in mind!

Came in because the back to my tragus piercing came out. It was taken care of in a JIFFY! Then on a ba humbug I decided to get a quick tattoo by my cleavage. Dennis did a phenomenal job on my star tattoo!!!! Great atmosphere and great ppl great vibez!!!! This is officially my go to place and all I did was Google and call for to get my back tragus earring back in. Im joyful that I found this place!!!

Got my septum pierced here, customer service was good. Just not too pleased with how crooked my piercing is... the entry point of the needle is noticeably lower than the exit. Its to the point that when friends/family have seen it for the first time a majority of them have immediately pointed out its crooked.

The shop is very nice and everyone that worked there seemed cool that is until I returned for a recolor and pointed out a few things I wanted corrected on my tattoo. The artist (Ed) not only became rude and offended, but then told me he had no time for my scheduled appointment. Each time i tried to reschedule i was given an excuse for why it couldnt happen and then finally I was told off by the artist and told to never come back.I paid well for my tattoo and was basically told to go away without even getting it finished.

Went here instead of my usual shop to get jewelry swapped out as my new navel piercing swelled more than anticipated. I was told there was no such thing and that it’d be fine. I’ve had many piercings and I knew it was not fine and would cause issues if I didn’t get a longer piece of jewelry. I drove out to my usual shop a few days later and had no problems getting jewelry swapped and the piercer there said it definitely needed changed.

Went in for a small and not complicated tattoo on my upper chest. Paid a “non-refundable” deposit. Found out I’m pregnant and can’t get my money back. They are way over priced. All I wanted was 6 short words in someone’s signature. I was told the $80 deposit will go towards the total but could be upwards of $200. That’s ridiculous. Will never recommend and I will be looking to get my money back.

Got my ear peirced it took about 5 minutes to get in and out of the store. Brandon was very kind, knowledgeable and had a great attitude. I would come to him for any piercing, and will refer him to all my friends and family for any of their piercing needs.

They did my belly button very fast and it wasnt painful. But the piercer had a very dry personality and still face. I had 2 go to tdogs tattoo to have them fix my belly button bc this place gave a too short of a ring n pinched 2 much skin which caused it 2 sink inside my skin. FYI when u get ur belly done you should get it pierced with a Ring instead of a barbell which will cause the issue I went through

Came for cartilage piercing. The person who did the piercing did not introduce himself, so I dont know his name. They did not give me any options for the jewelry. I really wanted hoops and looked in the mirror afterwards to see studs. In addition, the piercer was not talkative at all and I had to ask him about aftercare, which he ran through very quickly. Overall, they did the work, but I wouldnt go back.

I will definitely be back to this establishment for my work! The guys are super friendly and so very talented, helpful and work to make sure youre 100% satisfied with the artwork before the tattooing process begins! I walked out with artwork that I love! Cant wait to go back and get more!

The people there were really nice but the costumer service needs help. A lady on reception told me to stop by the shop even though their website says “call to make an appointment”. That day I stopped by the shop and the same lady said “yeah Rachell is open all day tomorrow just stop by and we’ll get you started”. The next day I come to the shop again and I said I’m here to see Rachell, then the exact same lady said “actually Rachell isn’t available today, she’s booked until April.” Never again going there. All I wanted to do was get a small tattoo. I had to call a bunch of different places that day to get one. A very nice lady from Stltattoo in Chesterfield said she was able to fit me in. Plan on going there from now on to get tattoos. Y’all should go there too.

I had my first tattoo done by Jason. He was very friendly, and patient with me. I was nervous and after the first bit had some lightheaded-ness and he waited for me to relax before he started back up. I brought in a design and he made some changes to it that I loved, and that I could not have come up with myself. I love this place and will definitely come back in the future! The parlor is open and friendly, and the greeter was prompt.

My family has gotten many tattoos and piercings here, including my 18 year old, however she was just there this week again and they charged her $80 for a peace sign that is only the size of a dime! I’m so mad that I wasn’t there to tell her not to do it. Price gouging at its finest! We will NOT be returning!

Piercer strolled in over an hour after her shift started. Ran out of supplies , took customers out of order, disappeared for15 minutes. Completely unprofessional, disrespectful and inconsiderate. 45 minutes to get there, 2 hours and 15 minutes of waiting, no service rendered. A total waste of time. Ill be going somewhere better organized and professional.

Been up here a few times to get tattoos with friends, the staff has never been personable or friends, honestly kind of rude. Came up here today and I asked a question (obviously because I didnt know something) instead of educating me on the subject the guy kind of belittled me because I wasnt aware (WHY I ASKED TO BEGIN WITH) I should never feel that way walking out of any store, or anywhere frankly. (I work in customer service) The tattoo artist kirk is very nice tho. Most everyone else is bad.

The pricing was very fair and the work was great and professional. Had sessions with Palos and he was prepared and professional and always made sure everything was set up and to my liking. They offer lots for tattoos and piercings. The place looks very nice and everything is clean.

I went to go get a nipple piercing I asked if the bar was big enough for swelling, he said if not you can come back and get a bigger one. I come back thinking maybe I need a bigger bar because it was going into my skin. The guy told me he can’t change it I would have to take it out and get it pierced again. I asked before I got the piercing if the bars were big enough he said yes.

They used to be good, but now it seems they want to find any way not to be of service. They used to have friendly service. They used to be busy - a few tattoos going, a line for the piercer, but now theres rarely anyone in there other than the receptionist.

I am a repeat customer of Kirk and honestly I dont know what I enjoy most. From his phenomenal seemly work on skin or the amazing personable time you get to spend with such an amazing person who truly loves his job, Kirk belongs tattooing and his work should be spread.. Quite honestly I follow him on Instagram and get envious of all the beautiful things he produces daily! Highly recommend

Jon Bell did my tattoo on my calf. I have strangers stopping me all the time to tell me how much they love it. Yes I paid a lot for it but it was worth every penny. Quality costs and Jon does QUALITY! From what I have seen, all the artists there are amazing. If I get another tatoo, I will not think twice about who to get it from.

This place is on point. They got my daughter in the same day and everyone in really amazing. Prices are great and all of the artists are incredible. Highly recommend this studio. Well definitely be back.

Dennis did a great job. My daughter brought me in with a pretty complex Rhino drawing shed picked out for me. Dennis worked it up and did the work same day. I am really impressed. Really fun experience.

I picked Threshold as my shop and Dennis as my artist. I did lots of research on artist portfolios and Dennis was the man! I have sat with him for 2 sessions on my chest and it is looking amazing! Everyone in the shop is professional and has a good sense of humor. I will always recommend Threshold and even more so Dennis to anybody that asks.

Joey did my piercing. He was quick and even explained the difference of placement on my ear. I will definitely be back for my tregus as soon as my ear heals. Also the shop just smelled clean. Like cleaning supplies so I felt empowered in my decision in threshold.

I had a small nose piercing done by Brandon and he was perfect. I first went in to get a small elephant on my wrist done by Dennis. Then I was tattooed by Rachelle. Each one have done their own unique wonderful peices on me. I have a beautiful flower chest peice done by Rachelle. So delicate and fine work. Dennis has started tattooing a skull and flower peice on my left thigh, I will be going back for a 2nd session soon. His work amazes me if course. But let me tell you.... My fiance, has been going for 3 years as well. He has been getting tattooed by Dennis every month for 3 years. He has a full skull on his entire back and almost a full horror sleeve complete with all your favorite characters! And soon it will be finished! Dennis is good at what he does.I definitely recommend going to Threshold.

I came here for my belly button piercing. I cannot remember my piercers name but he was one of the few piercers there. He was very nice and helpful.I will also be coming here for my first tattoo in a couple of weeks (Yay!!!!) Cant wait to come back to this amazing place!

We LOVE Brandon Palamides! First came to Brandon for my Daith piercing. He did a beautiful job, it healed perfectly in exactly 4 months. 2nd was flat helix shown in pic and its healing so nicely I think Ill be back for conch very soon!

Today, I went in for an appt with my daughter for two smaller tattoos. There was a mix up with her appt time (honest mistake) and Kirk jumped in and saved the day. He had time before his next appt and agreed to do her two tattoos. Hes done 3 others for us before and was our first choice initially but was booked when we made the appt. I cannot thank him enough for his willingness to save the day, make a potential not so great situation for a teenager on her 17th birthday a bummer a great experience, but doing so with humor and professionalism that is always above par. He is THE BEST!

I got my belly button pierced here and it ended up being crooked and still hasn’t healed properly after 2 months (bleeding, piercing sinking in). I got a second opinion and the piercer said the piercing was done completely wrong.

Ryan hooked me up with a sweet tattoo in late July 2011. Didnt have any issues with customer service as some reviewers had. I will most likely be back in the next week or so to get more work done. Thanks again Ryan for the tattoo of the crowns with my kids names on it.

Ive gotten 2 tattoos done here I love them both my only problem is Im assuming shes the manager is not very nice at all. She makes me think about finding another shop just because of her attitude other than that the artist are great!!

Ive gotten a tattoo done here in the past and really liked it so I wanted to go here to get my next one. When I contacted them asking if I needed to make an appointment they said no just come in and well take care of you. I get there when they open and they say that theyre booked for the day but I can be put on a waiting list. I said no if thats the case why didnt they make an appointment for me when I contacted them instead of saying I didnt need one and to just come in. Its an hour drive to and from for me to get there and Im not wasting my time anymore. Ill never be going here again.

Terrible. At least the artest Rachelle is. She did my tattoo, first tattoo, didnt even let me see it before covering up and telling me to leave it on for an hour. She informed me how to clean, never how long or the healing process of that tattoo, when I confronted her and let her know the only reason why I know more was because i over heard decent coworker informing their client she blamed me by saying she thought Id ask if I wanted to know and she doesnt want to overwhelm her clints. My lines of my tattoo are messed up, she said shed touch up for free, but I cant trust her to not mess it up even more.

I went to Threshold to simply talk with Jon Bell because I was interested in getting my first tattoo here. I came in and asked for a consult. What happened instead of that was a 2 minute conversation about what I wanted in which he mocked my idea, then waiting for a half hour, only for him to still not have a sketch for me and then continue to mock what I wanted by telling me the font I wanted was doodie and that the placement I wanted was wrong and stupid. Then he completely ignored the font and did whatever he thought would look good and started setting it up for me to get the tattoo right then and asking me to pay right then. He didnt ask if I had ever gotten a tattoo, if I even liked the design hed made -which I didnt- and while I understood a lot of the suggestions he had, that wasnt what I wanted and he didnt seem to care at all. I waited over an hour for a design that wasnt what I wanted while being treated rather poorly and the entire time he spent more time talking to the other staff than he did with me. Immediately he was bored with me and the tattoo and hardly gave me the time of day.

The employees are very professional. they told me the truth, that if I got the tattoo too small itd all bleed together, etc. I trust them with my piercings and tattoos only. 11/10 would recommend

They pierced my belly button crooked and didn’t even ask me if I was okay with the mark and they didn’t even try and redo the mark the guy just went with the first try without confirmation. I would show you the picture but I cannot figure out how to put it onto a review, but all of my friends and boyfriends can immediately realize it is crooked.

Had a tattoo done by cabot or whatever his name was and i can honestly say i didn’t care for him, i went there to get a cover upon my hand and first he said my idea was insane and then called me and idiot and then when it was time for the tattoo he pretty dug the needle into my hand and ruined the tattoo bc he dug to deep into my hand and now i’m left with gashes in some spots of my tattoo and looks horrible!!! will never return here ever again.

I had my earlobes pierced by the apprentice. She did a great job and the piercer watching her was great too. He pierced my cousins tragus & the apprentice did lobe piercings on my cousin as well.

I got my industrial bar percied here & my belly button and both percings healed perfectly, with no issues even tho industrial bars are known to cause issues. A little pricey but worth the professionalism and cleanliness you get with this shop

Got a piercing! Everything was clean and organized. The piercer and her mentor were very nice and knowledgeable.

My husband and I called the shop on a Thursday night to see if we could get the king of hearts and Queen of hearts on our fingers and then our wedding date in Roman numerals on our wrists. Mine turned out fine, but my husband now has a chunk of skin missing out of his finger because of a place in the heart that started raising and squished out gross liquid, the Red in the heart was not put in all the way to the top of the heart, and the lines of the lines Of the Roman numerals are crooked! Some are not fixable. This is so disappointing considering what the tattoos represent. What’s even worse is I have a strong feeling that no one will take accountability and try to make things right. The artist that did his tattoos is not even listed in the Facebook page or website. Just go somewhere else.

I was only there to have a piercing change out and the atmosphere was very positive staff was professional. The gentleman was very gentle taking it out and placing it back in! Great place to go!

I got my tattoo done less than a month ago and it’s already fading and parts of it completely fell off. I really don’t understand how this happened seeing as though I took excellent care of my tattoo. Extremely disappointed in the waste of money and time I put into this.
