Came here a couple years ago for a couple piercings. Not sure who the guy was but he was very unwelcoming. The piercings were great though. Figured I’d give this place another chance and when I walked in, Holes was very intimidating, unwelcoming, dry and cold. I wanted the piercing bad so I just went with it. This was over 4 months ago. He pierced it crooked and it took forever to heal. Since it’s healed, it just fills with puss every few weeks. I just took it out as it’s clearly never going to heal and I’ll never go back there. The most unprofessional tattoo/piercing shop I’ve ever been to. Would love to know if these reviews were paid for.

I’ve been coming here since I turned 18, I’m 22 now. Jeff is the best piercer I have gone to. He’s very fast and informative and is very kind. I’ve gotten a wide variety of piercings here, Medusa, tongue, snake bites, nose/septum, vertical labret and so on. It’s hard to find at first since it is hidden away but I continue to come here as long as Jeff works here. I suggest you bring cash, it’ll be so much cheaper.

Ive been going to Darkside for years and Ive never had a bad experience, especially with Holes. Its the type of vibe that feels more like a well needed hang out with your friends

Put the wrong size of industrial and it got infected .what piercer would shove an industrial that’s to small for someone’s ear? This is the most irresponsible tattoo shop ever and now I need to go to a dermatologist to fix their errror

Holes did my tattoo and was all around awesome even though it was just for the flash Friday the 13th he treated me like a regular

I really do like this place. I just randomly walked in on a weekday afternoon, looking for an experienced artist that was knowledgeable in palm tattoos- since I;ve had trouble finding someone in the IE that could hook it up, and make one last... But, damn!-- Dude did a great job! - He was very professional, even though it was a bit more expensive (double the price) then I was used to, but no big deal though.He straight up drew out the design, by hand..(awesome)..and talked with me to made sure I liked it before committing anything to the pink/purple transfer paper... very proper regarding the cleanliness and preparation steps taken before doing the tattoo itself...as for the actual work, he listened to what I wanted, took the time to explain & correct my expectations (palm tats need touch ups over the years, no real way around it unfortunately, damn..) anyway, heres the finished product--- pay no attention to the older, faded tats which were done by someone else......The 3 faces came out excellent, and I hope they stay crisp and clear for a loooooong time! I might come back and edit this review in a few months if they drop out and fade away...but for rn, I;m very satisfied and happy with the work :) take a look at my pic- dope work darkside tattoo!!!! thanks alot!!

I got a conch and a flat piercing. I walked right in, Jeff was very professional and fast, I’m definitely going back once it heals!

Everytime I walk in they greet me right away and I come In for ear and nose piercing and they are so clean and very fast I’m in and out quick. My nose piercing is 20 including the nose ring and I think it’s very economic and good price for the service. My piercings never get infected which is why I love it here and I drive from Redlands just to come to there shop. (:

I went there to get my nipples pierced with my best friend. It was extremely quick and the way that it was done made it to where it didn’t hurt as bad as you would expect a nipples piercing to hurt. He was very professional And didn’t make me feel uncomfortable. Great aftercare advise And positioning of the piercings was on point i wound definitely recommend for this type of piercing. If your considering it pain was a 5/10 depending on what you’re tolerance is. All around great experience

Did not feel welcome. There where Four artist behind the counter and they all stared at me like elephant in the room. Until Tim approached the counter and ask me,how he could help. He was polite, professional. My daughters got their ears pierced. Price was fair 30 dollars for both ears and included the jewlery. Navel is 20 dollars includes the jewelery as well. They do not carried a wide selection of jewelry. After the piercings Tim gave us instructions on how to take care of them. If it was not for Tim professionalism I would of given this place 1 star. They only accept cash and have am ATM inside. Ask for Tim.Place is located in a shopping a center.

Darkside tattoos IS hands down san bernardinos Tattoo spot. I highly recommend Holes

Jesse and holes hade done most of my work and I absolutely love the atmosphere there verry chill and they make sure you leave with a tattoo you absolutely love ❤️

Great deal on piercings. Your experience really does depend on who you get hit or Miss. Been here a few times over the years was planning to take my 14 almost 15 year old sister to get her septum pierced as a present. Called and ask if she is able to get that piercing and he just said no no no uh uh then lowkey hung up while I was finishing my sentence. Went to yelp and it said you have to be at least 15 and have a parent with you. Understood could’ve explained that

Theyre friendly,and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is welcoming and clean. This isnt one it those tattoo shops you walk into and wonder how sterile it is. You walk in and KNOW that its sterile. Also: all of the geek stuff is pleasant to see.

I live in Riverside county and I was looking to get rook piercings at my old go-to in Rialto but they said the piercer was leaving early so I was desperately looking for someone in the area before i went back home. Found this gem. The person who answered was super nice and informative and they quoted me 20 per ear if i paid in cash. Do you guys know there’s other places charging 50-65 per ear! That’s ridiculous, so believe me when I say this is a great deal. I arrived and waited like 10 min because my guy was in the loo. Well that wait was worth it because he was great! Jeff was quick and accurate and has been doing it for 18 years. I also got my belly button re-pierced and while it hurt like a mother, it was straighter than Barney Stinson from HIMYM. Total for two rooks and a belly button was 60 cash. Would’ve been 90 for card which is still a good deal. Everyone there was super chill and nice. Definitely found my new go-to!!

He was very nice and it didn’t hurt as I thought it would and has a very light hand so you won’t feel the pain.

My daughter wanted her septum pierced for her birthday. They were very nice and the place was clean. We waited about 15 min. It was only $30 cash or $40 if you dont have cash. She was very happy with it.

Had multiple tattoos and piercings by the guys here at darkside tattoo, all 3 artist do amazing work,I have multiple tattoos from all 3 of them,last one was done by Brandon and I absolutely the piece he did, also have had multiple piercings by Jeff ge is very quick and professional, I will definitely be coming back for more work

Highly recommend this place! I’ve only ever gotten my ear piercings and Jeff was so very kind and welcoming as well as the rest of the workers there. Not sure why people are trying to leave bad reviews about them, but if you go back to those reviews they were tattooed/ pierced by someone who no longer works there for good reason, go back and get it fixed have something good to say, or just can’t handle piercings/tattoos, which if you can’t just don’t do it and stop blaming the artists/piercers. I have 15 piercings on my ears in total and have done 10 with them! There prices are amazing as well as there work. I can’t wait to get my belly/ nasal piercing tomorrow!*Don’t mind blue dots in pictures, just places I’m thinking of getting pierced but am not sure about*

Great service by Jesse. He was able to work out a new tattoo for me that I had been thinking of for years.I also talked to him about my next tattoo, and he gave me a few ideas on how to approach it.

Got my nipples pierced there a couple of months ago. Piercer was great and his vibe was totally cool. Made me feel comfortable. Over all from the “checking in” process to me leaving the place was like 20 minutes. Really quick and easy. Haven’t had any problems with them at all. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 100%!! :D

I got my piercings done here.Slider biteIndustrialAnti browAll at the same time.Piercer was professional.I noticed when I arrived someone arrived behind me that needed to get a piercing removed.i figured it was a difficult piercing to remove.I discovered all my piercings ,I wasnt able to remove when I first tried.it made me panic.i tried for a month everyday kept up with care etc. I was able to remove the lip rings although I re inserted them as I just panicked that I couldnt remove..i havent tried removing the industrial.but I still cant remove the anti brow and Im afraid Ill hurt myself.its on my face after all I called to see if they would be able to remove and they said they could $15 to remove all my piercings after I told them Wich I had.4 total.its a good deal.it out me at ease to know I would be able to remove it when I was ready to for an affordable price.I still have them all.ive never had issues with infection or anything. Anti brow didnt hurt at all. Ive had my lips pierced before pain was minimal.healing for lips was about 2 weeks for me.antibrow never bothered me unless my toddler would smack me in the face or I got my hair caught in it for whatever reason.the industrial did hurt a bit.id say a 4/10. And its taken the longest to heal.wich seems normal after doing research online.

Originally posted a bad review, came back on Christmas Eve and Jeff helped me. Got my cheek dimples pierced. Totally changed my experience and view of this place. The piercing itself was fast and easy. I was in and out in no time. Jeff is super professional and laid back. If your gonna get pierced here go see Jeff.

Started going to these guys 20+ years ago (when they were still Pirate City)They have personable, casual senses of humor but remain professional where it counts. Not outwardly rude or judgemental. Prices are fair. Would score higher that 5 stars if I could.

I went here today because I got my belly pierced last week (from another shop) and the piercer who pierced my belly pierced it crooked and it got worst so it started to migrate and become sore. My husband called them told them the situation and they said to come by to see if they could help. We went and when I got there the piercer took a look at my belly and agreed that the other piercer did it crooked. He told me he could fix it for me right then and there or I could take it off, let it heal then re-pierce. I didnt know that I could get it re-pierced that soon so I was happy to hear that I could because I didnt want to take it out and wait for it to heal then re-pierce. I was hesitant because I was scared that it would hurt more because of the situation plus I have scar tissue from having it pierced in the past but I decided to let him fix it. And thats exactly what he did! AND it didnt hurt like I thought it was going to! My piercing is now perfectly straight and isnt sore anymore. My only regret is forgetting to ask the piercer his name so that I could give him a proper shout-out for saving my belly! I loved the environment it was welcoming and friendly (including the call) and I felt comfortably unlike the other shop. I DEFINITELY recommend this shop. This is the only place I will go to from now on.

Got a nose piercing today and I love it thank you so much!! The guy that did it for me was really friendly. Great price $20 including the jewelry will definitely come back here if I decide to get more piercings in the future.

I’ve been here twice. 1. For a tattoo and 2. Piercing. I got what I paid for and their services are professional. However they come off as stiff and intimidating.

I was really nervous walking in at first but they made me feel at ease gave an example of what i wanted, they recommend an artist that would do my tattoo :) jesse did my first tattoo, very sweet dude makes sure you are at ease and feel comfortable and doesnt mind you changing up your idea, he makes sure you are happy with final result! also note! had to pay a deposit upfront and its cheap if you pay with cash :) thank you for such a comfortable feeling and will definitely come back again

I have gone here for piercings for years. Jeff had done all my piercings. There was a taller guy bald I believe and he did my dermal one day. I was a little scared to get them. He had prepped the tools and all but when it the process I was like I hope the pain isnt so bad. He did the piercing with no notice and said did that hurt? (Sarcastically) I was upset because thats rude. I always had someone give warning when they were going to insert the needle. If so have Jeff do it. He is fast and nice. Some of the guys have been rude and not friendly at all. Jeff is usually in the front of the shop thankfully.

Easy experience. Walked in and got my nose pierced quickly. Cost only $20. Other places charge 40-60 bucks.

To anyone who is hesitant to get a piercing here- don’t be ! they’re very professional most importantly CLEAN. they have reasonable prices and allow for a lot of walk ins I will definitely be coming here to get the rest of my piercings done. You guys are awesome thank you !

Jeff is literally the dopest piercer ever I’ve been going to him since I was 18 and he’s done all my piercing. Today My sister and I stopped by to get my Medusa and he is just the best super patience and quick with it. Literally wouldn’t trust anyone else with my piercing ! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

I love this place! Jeff especially!! Super nice guy who really loves what he does! I highly suggest u look him up on insta and go get pierced the days he’s there! @piercings_by_jeff . The place is super clean but it is kinda awkward at times lol! Overall 10/10 recommend! I’ve gotten 3 piercings done by him 🙌🏻 They’ve all healed perfectly, he has an amazing hand for piercing!! He does it quick and fast!

I absolutely loved this place. They did an incredible job. Jason did my tattoo, and he made sure it was exactly what I wanted--took the time to correct my old one too. How much is it for snake bites?? Gonna be going next week for them. I got my cheek piercings done there years ago. I have very fat cheeks and it was quick and easy. The pain was like a 4 out of 10. not bad at all. the piercer was very quiet so it felt kinda weird lol but other than that it was a good experience. by the way this is his big sister on his account. lol!

Got two piercings done here ( Monroe & belly ) and i have had good experiences , very quick & definitely not painful . Good aftercare instructions and very nice . Will definitely come back to this place if I ever decide to get any more piercings .

Absolutely amazing, took an hour to an 1:30 not wait time, for me to get my tattoo with no appointment he drew it out within 15 minutes of me being there and was started within 20, Absolutely beautiful costume tattoo of a galaxy, couldnt of asked for better! I got my tongue piercing on Wednesday, 3 days ago and i noticed that the barbell was off center and there was a red bubble forming from my piercing. This place didn’t use gloves or wear masks, they didn’t use a clamp on my tongue . i had to take my piercing out after finding out it was a 30 cent chinese barbell. I do not recommend this place.

Got four upper ear piercings today by Jeff. He did a great job. I highly recommend him to anyone that wants piercings. Quick and professional.

In the last 2 months Ive gotten 2 tattoos and 3 piercings....had no problems with anything....Jason is a great artist and Jeff put me at ease....both are professional and thorough in their aftercare instructions. I don’t think anyone knows what good customer service is here. When you go to a tattoo shop you want to be greeted and treated like you’re important. This place doesn’t even acknowledge you. Whoever does the piercings, he is the only one who is a decent human being in this place and always has good customer service.

Great place for anything! I’ve gotten all of my piercings done here by Jeff love his work never had a problem with them and I’ve gotten 2 of my tattoos done here by holes love them also I love this place and recommend it too all of my friends and I will be returning for more keep up the great work 👍🏻

Ive gotten 5 out of my 6 piercings here and the 6th one i got at steel and ink. Never ever ever again will i go somewhere else for a piercing or dermal. Mike was the one that put first dermal in and was very friendly. Been going here for about 6 years and have recommended all my friends for piercing at this place!

Where should I start on with this HORRIBLE studio..... Well, to start off Im going to be 15 on 02-20. And for my birthday. I wanted to get a Industrial Piercing and all the review sound so convincing that I wanted to go there get it down.. I walked in and the guys were SO rude. There automatically denied my piercing that they cant help my do that. So over all that place needs to get shut down or they need to be dealt with MAJORLY.. Will NOT recommend this spot to anyone.. I will suggest you to take the time to drive somewhere else..

They were very professional. Another great plus was that they were very clean (i work in the medical field so im very picky). But their is room for growth. It wouldnt kill them to crack a smile lol (to be fair it was late and 30 min til closing time) and my septum piercing was a little crooked (i think i might have winced a little to hard). Overall its cool..

I had gotten my industrial, my lip, my tongue, my anti-eyebrow and my nose pierced here. I loved it, they did really good. Although my body didnt like the nose piercing so it just rejected it. But overall, this is the best place to definitely get your piercings

I got my anti eyebrow done a few months ago and it has healed perfect i was in and out there within 10 minutes and he did a good job haven’t had any complications.

I got my septum piercing here yesterday and it went by very smoothly, it was super quick and cheap and it didnt hurt at all. Definitely coming back here if I want anything else pierced :)

Called about getting my cheek dimples pierced, drove all the way from riverside, walked in and they asked what I was there for. I said cheek piercings and they almost were in disbelief. He asked me to take off my mask and open my mouth. Then proceeded to tell me he didnt have jewelry big enough, (Im a cubby girl but my cheeks arent even a half inch thick) Im was so embarrassed.

Im shocked!!! At almost every place of business theres always something wrong with the place its either the price people or time! BUT !Hold on ....Now this place !The people were cool 😎 the PRICE WAS AMAIZING for the amount of work done , and THE QUALITY AND ART ? Now thats where these guys shine.Ohh and the wait time was fast but it still had the carefully thought out high quality work.

Really bad experience with Michael aka holes I got my first tatto here and it was good but now that we payed for my wifes tattoo in advance we have been trying to make a appointment o get it done and no response. Its been a week and a half that we have been waiting for and still no call back, when I call his personal phone dose not pick up or return calls not even a text back. Also told my wife if I can do the tattoo you can get your cash back and now that I call he said we had a deal well just keep that money this is by far the worst tattoo shop I have ever gone. But he was quick to get the cash but not to do the work I like the fact he says I can do it anytime because I owe you lol now I see thats not going to happen thank you very much Michael Aka holes.... watch out people trying to do work here .... if I could give no stars whould give them a 0First off owner I tried getting an appointment on Saturday he told me he was busy try and Sunday then I called Sunday he said he was still busy and I never made an appointment to show up on Monday on his day off so please get the information straight before you say something different thank you very much

Got a tattoo done here a while back and it was pretty nasty. (first tattoo) I still payed them cause I thought my arm was swollen..after waiting it out a couple of days I realized how terrible the linework was..I went it a few months later to get it fixed because I had been busy with work. I went in a few times actually, and they kept giving me excuses. I called the shop a couple days later only to find out that the guy who did the tattoo had not been working there for months now when they had been telling me that he had just not gone in that day. Whats so hard about telling a simple truth?

I got my nose pierced 2 weeks ago and i am completely happy with my nose pierce I highly recommend this place if you wanna get your piercings. i did not get the piercer’s name but he did an awesome job.

I came for simple nose piercing. It went bad!!Before that, I brought some friends, they got piercings too, & I found out their piercings went bad too!They dont look profesional.Dont accept Visa.& not only that, but they allow minors in the establishment without asking parents permission!VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!

Got my belly button peirced with my friend here .. its great! only 20 bucks and all you do is walk in . give them the money and they do it no questions asked ! i def. reccommend it for people who want it done fast and cheap plus great social employees!!(:

Got my both my tattoos there from two different artists they are sloppy and just seem not friendly at all.. One guy who did the piercing dont seem interested in being there and prices on Tats are pretty stupid high there plenty of other places in the 909 who do better job and affordable prices

Love my nose piercing was super quick sterilized, and gave me an aftercare sheet affordable as well. $20 including the nose jewelry is a great deal.

Pierced my tragus here, they are very low on most piercing studs/rings. I had a couple monroe studs with me and they put them in backwards! Very unprofessional considering what can happen if the ball falls into the ear.. probably not going back. They other guys working at the shop were just plain rude to talk to.

I got a lip piercing it was 20 they didnt have that much selection on jewlry but I get it. The guy was really nice and professional my lip was at but slippery so it was kinda hard to do it but he got it then after he explained how to clean it and what to do and what not to do.

What can i say bout this place well i been going here for yeaaaars!! and they are calm relaxing people its not all loud and full of extraness like some tattoo places i love how they are quick on the piercings ive gotten so many piecing to my eyebrow my nose and manyy more too and they have always made it easy . i enjoy this place i feel comfortable i reccomend this tattoo shop to anyone they will love it and this coming up month i will be getting my first tat from here cant wait .. !

I came in to get a small name on my hand they said it would be 2 hours wait I came back in 2 hours they told me it would be few min to wait to the tattoo artist was finished with his client i said ok I waited then another person came me that had no appointment and they took her and forgot about me I will never came here again I waited 3 hours for nothing.

Got my belly button pierced here the guy was quit not really a talker but he did a good job and didnt hurt would come back for more piercings

Tongue piercing came out crooked, didn’t put a line on tongue to see if it was placed right (a straight line) , no tools to hold the tongue in place and didn’t clean area before doing actual piercing

Got my tongue pierced here on Sunday and I noticed it is crooked. The bottom is centered but the top is more to the right side 😕
