Cool little place for teens who are into piercings. It was full and we waited for about 45 minutes. The staff knows what they are doing and it was not too expensive. Recommend it.

I came back for a wedding and had to make the stop in my hometown at Orbit. I got all my piercings there growing up. Antonio helped me find the perfect gifts for my daughters. He was extremely caring and considerate. Amazing customer service and truly gave me a warm welcome home to the bay. Not too often do people make you feel so cared for and loved. Once I walked in the door, the staff behind the counter made sure we were taken care of.Got my nose piercing here and they were very knowledgeable regarding the aftercare. The young lady (I forgot her name) who did my piercing was very attentive to how I was doing during the whole process. She asked if I needed water or a break and she made sure I was involved with the decision on where my piercing should be. I felt very comfortable and my piercing turned out exactly as I hoped for.Weeks following the piercing, I went back for some aftercare and Kat was the one who helped me and she took care of all my questions, helped me switch out my jewelry, and made sure I knew to continue cleaning my piercing.All in all, she was great and I left feeling great.

Had i known they were going to pierce my lobes with curly-back earring posts and not have the correct sized ball for a tragus piercing, i wouldve gone to claires.the skate stuff, cool figurines, and jewelry selection is great! the piercers are skilled. everything is properly sterilized. good customer service. but im highly disappointed that i was pierced with improper jewelry on 2 occasions. thats a management issue.i hope they will get some better starter jewelry in their inventory. for now, adults, dont go here for piercings.

These people deserve the highest rating! And Alex deserves nothing but the best - she is amazzinnngggg and makes the whole piercing process painless and quick. Ive gotten pierced by her many times, and she is both professional, and also very sweet. I live in LA now and still come back here just to get pierced by her. Took my daughter to get her nose pierced here a couple years ago....6 piercings later and more to come we absolutely LOVEEEEEE Orbitz. My daughter had a reaction to a couple of the piercings and each time I brought her back to check they were so patient and informative. She did what they said and all is good now. Love all the piercers there and staff.

Came in to get my daughter her first skateboard. First person who greeted us was Sal. Super friendly and knowledgeable about the products.We also interacted with Hamza his son if Im correct. I absolutely lovvvvvve this place! Its our family fav!!! This should be the shop for any and all piercings!! (They do specialize in other things too, but this is what our family comes for.) They are genuine bonafide professionals!!!!

Dope spot! I got my first Chad Muska board here when I was 12 (23 years ago). So glad this place is still open. They have more skate options than any other shop in the East Bay (that I know of). When I got older, I also got piercings here. This is a well known spot for getting anything pierced... Theres usually a bunch of people waiting to get pierced on the weekends. Hygienic and clean and super knowledgeable staff. They also have a headshop behind a velvet curtain where you can get all kinds of smoke stuff (if youre over 18). I highly recommend this spot for skate gear, piercings, and all of the cool random things they also carry.

Always got what you need, when you need it heavy traffic inside stays busy, kind and patient staff . they close early tho. not a problem orbitz, 🌟

At age 20 I got my industrial piercing here and I am 36 now and still have it! I remember them being very professional and affordable. I referred my mom to go here when she wanted her nose pierced. She was happy with her results. After she passed in 2014, I came back here to get an exact nose piercing as she had. I was very pleased with how it healed and had to get advise at times and they were very helpful. I highly recommend this place and I hope Orbitz thrives throughout the years to come.

Took my daughter here to get her nose pierced and so happy we cose to come here over all the other places. Everyone was so nice and super helpful. Her piercer Jasmine was so nice and explained everything really well. We will definitely be back and also recommend them to anyone wanting piercings.

Easily one of the best pierce shops in the Bay Area, it is so versatile in their products, their service is amazing. Each employee Ive had the pleasure to speakto has had an amazing attitude. Ive gotten 6 piercings with them by now and Ive never had issue with any of them. I cant recommend this place enough, they staff definitely deserve all the praise.

Not sure why I am just writing this right now as I just discovered about this place in early 2020, but every time I come here, their performance is absolutely phenomenal. I come here specifically for switching out my nose piercings or to buy some new ones and the employees are absolutely so friendly and loving and show compassion in what they do, they always welcome me into their building which makes me feel important and I love that! They have a good variety of jewelry to choose from and on top of that, they’re rather affordable!(I may be getting the name wrong but..) Keanu! Definitely so sweet and remembers me when I come to the shop and takes care of me with specific needs! Honestly everyone here deserves a 5 star for real, let’s keep it like that!

Ive gotten a handful of piercings here and my daughter 8 piercings (septum, nostril, belly, eyebrow, industrial, etc). Theyre always super welcoming and friendly. The piecerers are all friendly and every piercing weve gotten has been perfect. Even if its crowded they are able to move through everyone quickly. Their prices also beat everyone around. Good quality jewelry with a great selection. Highly, highly recommend going to Orbit for all your piercing needs!!

The only word I can use to describe Orbit Skates is divine! From the customer service to the plethora of trendy, on brand trinkets and piercing options, every inch of this building is absolutely wonderful. Keep reading to learn about the organization, customer service, piercing dexterity, and my overall personal experience in this shop.The exterior and interior of the store was creative and relative to the items sold. The outside store walls was painted with an abundance of graffiti style images and lettering. The interior had an overall dark theme with a multitude of shelves layering the store, filled with many items to explore. Though the space was small, one could get lost in the countless isles and items. Some of these items included glass enclosures filled with beautiful, copious amounts of piercings, hoodies, wonderfully scented, unique essential oils, vapes, keychains, sweatpants, eccentrically flavored drinks, socks, boxers, and the list goes on. However, aside from all these additional components, the fundamental focus of Orbit is the piercings, which I can confirm do not disappoint!I entered orbit with the intention of getting a nose piercing; although, I never gaged I would have such a pleasant experience. The staff and piercers were extremely welcoming and patient. I was quite stressed to get a piercing and took a long time to decide what exactly I desired. The owner, Sal, was incredibly kind, supportive, and helpful to me as I browsed through the store and pondered over what piercing to get. Additionally, the expertise who gave me my nose piercing was also extremely kind and gentle with me. Her name was Kaeleigh (I might have spelt that wrong), and she knew exactly what she was doing, as she has been a piercer for over 15 years! Her abundant knowledge was extremely useful in answering all my questions about piercings and how I should take care of mine. Furthermore, she did a fine job in piercing my nose. I decided on a nose ring, and she was extremely gentle and careful when piercing, making the experience almost pain-free! I walked out with a wonderfully done nose ring; I love my piercing! I also suppose the other piercers are extremely talented, as my sister had a pleasant experience with her ear piercing as well. Ultimately, the piercing, customer service, and the vast array of options raises my love for this store.Overall, I would most definitely recommend visiting Orbit Skate and Boutique. Due to the kind people, prime services, and diverse selections of items, I had an extremely gratifying experience at Orbit and would definitely come again.

Really amazing shop! I love the merchandise they have here. Nice skateboards, wonderful jewelry for both genders, and fast piercing services. The store has a nice incentive smell. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because the guy who gave me my piercing was stoic and did not seem like he wanted to answer my questions. It was my first time piercing and just seemed stoic. In fact, I had to ask my friend who I was with piercing related questions and she herself is a customer. I also did not like the fact that dogs are not allowed in the store although there is nothing for dogs to contaminate or for them to get hurt.

The young man is obviously very experience. I had surgery on my neck 6 years or more ago and the doctor cut my tragus piercings out. I went to several places and after years had them redone. Many places told me it could/ shouldnt be done, but I knew the holes were still open but couldnt put the jewel in. Hes the greatest. Will go back.

Cool little spot. Been going here for the last couple years to get piercings. Always super helpful no matter who is there. Great deals and variety of jewelry. I will say just from experience, always ask for a second opinion from a main piercer. Ive had a few times where one of the non-piercing workers or a new piercer will say one thing but then one of the main/established piercers will say another. Always ask twice. Experience tends to know better. Place is great, will continue to go here for a while.

This skate shop is right up my alley. Unique. A whole vibe. I would like to personally thank my piercer Jessica. She did an excellent job on both myself and my husbands piercings. Keanu was very informative and able to answer any questions i had about products. The manager Sal was on the floor assisting customers, too. Amazing first experience! I went to go get my ears pierced (traditional and upper lobe) and also ended up getting a nose piercing. I was helped quickly and the paperwork didnt take very long. I also didnt have to wait long at all, which was great! Diana was the one who pierced me, and she was fantastic! She was so sweet and was checking on me throughout the process to make sure I was doing okay and wanted to keep going. I also loved how she told me what she was gonna do before she did it, that helped make the pain not as bad since I could anticipate it! She also hyped me up after we finished everything, which made me feel awesome :) all the staff that helped me were also super friendly as well! Definitely coming back here and for sure gonna recommend this place to people I know.

This is an awesome local skate shop. The staff is always super helpful, they let me take my time and were always available when I had questions or wanted to look at something.I especially love the variety of items here too. Theres always something new and they have great little finds.My friend has had a ton of experience with the piercings here too and they love it.Last time I went there they helped me build a new skateboard and helped me with all the options.

This place is THE BEST.. been coming here for close to two decades and the staff and owner is always super super nice and clean. Sanitizing everything before piercings. They have everything from skateboarding stuff, t shirts, hoodies, stickers, incents, jewelry, and smoking/marijuana goodies. I am originally from Oakland and live far away but when I am in town I still come to this place for my piercing and jewelry. Keanu, Chris, Jasmine and Alex… are AWESOME 👍🏾

This place is legit. I never got the name of the gentleman that helped but it makes absolute sense why they have such high ratings. Really sweet folks that love what they do and take the time to help you. Their level of patience and knowledge is really top notch. I got my septum pierced here and it was such a great experience. After making sure I was of legal age, they took me into a sterile back room where they prepped me for my piercing. The piercer was so nice and talked me all the way through it, and she even told me to breathe while it was being done. I loved how quick she was, and the piercing hurt like a mosquito bite. The prices are also quite cheap, I only paid 70 dollars after tax and buying the cleaning solution. completely would recommend

Never felt compelled to leave a spot a review, but ive been coming here for 13 years and have never felt unwelcomed. Their piercers are awesome, and the piercings are cheap compared to some spots that make you pay for the jewelry & a piercing, or stretching and jewelry. Highly recommend this place

Got my first piercing here, my only issue was the wait time and the prices being a bit high, If you come in 40 minutes before closing you probably wont get seen until after the store has closed and it could be me being paranoid but associates had seemed to be annoyed at us still waiting to be seen after that.-UPDATE: Ive gotten all my piercings from here and have had no problems aside from the wait being very long, originally but I noticed a day after having my vertical labret repierced that it was crooked, i thought at first maybe it was due to the barbell being curved or possible rejecting but it has healed just fine. had asked if it would be, and if so, would it be due to scar tissue before I got it redone, which I was told no with reassurance, it could have been because the person piercing me was very short and still had to reach up a bit to do it, I would have accommodated to make sure it came out straight.My other issue is that they use externally threaded barbells rather than internally threaded, but I guess that is reasonable since it makes it easier to reinsert the piercing if you take it out after a few months. Aside from that, staff is very friendly and professional. They answer all your questions for anything you might need to know and then some, good place. 👍

Ive been coming here for many different things since I was 12 Im 23 now. I got my piercings done here, they have amazing piercers and very fair prices on their jewelry. Their glass shop is wonderful and are very honest about their products. They also just have a wonderful assortment of jewelry, knickknacks, clothes, and smell good things.

Surprised my son with an early graduation gift and got his ears pierced here. The Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their products and what services they provide. Jazz was very professional. They had a private area that was clean and welcoming for customers to have privacy while getting a piercing. Jazz was able to educate both my son and I on the different ways of piercing as well as how they can affect your skin. She even took the time to show my son how to take care of his piercing to prevent it from closing and to come back to get sized up. This place is very clean and prices are affordable.

I came here with my daughter and we had a wonderful experience. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and we got a great deal. $5 off per item to trade in our old boards. She has good energy love her suggestionsShe gives a good run down of post care. She sanitizes EVERYTHING after each customer.I came in looking for nose rings Ive seen on social media. Phil was awesome to work with he took his time showing me multiple pieces, & even if he doesnt have the exact piece, he actually reaches out to his vendor to try to get it for u.They actually make sure you leave a satisfied customer.  Even when they get busy, everyones multi-tasking. Went w/my son to get our ears pierced. So glad that I found them. Also glad I called ahead to see what was needed for a 16yo to get ears pierced. They run a tight ship, so if you dont have the correct docs u will not get pierced. They were really busy the Saturday we went but they had several piercers there and it was not that long of a process.They sell skateboards, hoodies galore, and sooooooooooo much more.

I always have a great experience here! Knowledgeable staff, fair prices...You know you can trust a place when you ask if various older parts need to be replaced, and instead of making a quick buck, they actually say no, what you have is fine for now.I will always check with them before I buy online.

Honestly I love this place the staff is immaculate and they are so friendly and good with their service, I’m always recommending them for piercings because not only do they do a good job but they recommend the best ways to take care of them.

Place was pretty busy, but thats no excuse for me spending my 41$ for bearings, board rails, and to have these 1 risers ⟨1′ inch⟩ taken off. Now the usual guy whos been there for awhile knows what hes doing, but his side kick has no business working on skateboards if he cant simply take a couple of risers off, I mean come on... If you dont have the right sized wrench to do the job, then use some plyers, and if you dont have those in your shop, well that is no shop in my opinion. Now dont get me wrong, this place is pretty sweet, one of the last places I can go for a studded bracelet or fake leather belt (that also costed me 40$) and broke within a week. But I do truly like this place. And be nice to the piercer girl.

Came here cause my son wanted a skateboard. Pretty nice shop. Nice selection, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. We were help by A staffer name Reese. He knew a lot about the products. Help me stay in my budget which was a plus for me. Definitely would go back to buy more.

If you go here prepare to be ignored and stand around for 25 plus minutes that is unless your one of the assumed regulars. I went there to get a new earring for my helix percing (I lost the back about 10 minutes before I got there). I got there at about 715 or 720 and left at 745 after I hadnt been helped by anyone. There were four workers in the store, two helped one person and the other two moved furniture. One worker acknowledge that I was next after I had been standing by the jewelry case for about 10 minutes but that was all I got.

I was denied service here the manager approached me as soon I entered and refused service because I have a service animal that wears a special harness for mobility I also walk with a cane. He told me dogs are not allowed, I explained he was a service animal and that he is for mobility, he stated he had the right to refuse service to anyone so I said you are refusing service because of my service animal, he said yes, so I left and went to Simms, they were amazing,

Honestly one of the best experiences I had at a skate shop. Every member of the team was extremely helpful and ready to answer any question I had. The whole time they were checking to make sure I was happy and were recommending decks, wheels, etc. Wish I could leave 6 stars, love the shop and the people. Definitely will be coming back in the future.

Amaaazing love the workers, my only complaint is the manager seamed like he was staring over everyones shoulder. The employees didnt need that. They were on it and seamed perfectly capable of knowing what they had to do next to finish the process and make sure they could fit everyone in before the night was over. The manager should spend less time telling the workers what to do and more time in learning the clientele order, and all of what was included in theyre procedures

Good shop lots of gear and really cool dude behind the skate counter he answered all of my daughters questions and even found her awesome grip tape, which made her birthday special. Loses 1 point because it was not listed as also a headshop but had a good portion of the shop dedicated to it which was not what I really was looking for with my 9 year old in tow.

Great skate store thats been part of the community for 20+ years! Lovely staff memebers and their customer service is top notch. Also the piercing staff is fantastic, they know what they are doing and are very kind to new comers.

This place is neat. Parking in rear. Staff is nice an accommodating. Skate shop with smoke shop in same store but located in back. Why 2 star rating? If you dont have your receipt an you paid with a card. Even if you show a credit card statement saying you purchased an item at their store an you are willing to return it. To get your money back. Well kiss your money good bye. They are good at taking your money but make sure if you buy something its worth your while.The owner likes to haggle too so if you like to bargain for goods win for you. If you not good with bargaining you could get haggled. Its terrible business. An little these ppl know I will type an review their business an list every detail I encounter. I understand you trying to have business. But that type of business you are running is very dis tasteful. I only go to this location if the other places I goto arent game.

Omggg! I had such a fun time at this spot! My piercing artist, Jessica, was warm and inviting. She helped me choose my jewelry, offered me helpful advice, asked my consent for every step of the process (even when she had to step away to help a coworker). She breathed with me when she was piercing me, which eased my tension. I often feel uncomfortable at piercing shops and skate shops as a masc presenting transfemme poc. Here, I felt important, held and celebrated.

We came here looking for a shop that could possibly help with anything skateboard related. Granted it was a weekend and maybe not a lot of places are opened. I ended up finding sage and incense for myself. It was a delightful find and am glad it all worked out.

These guys are super chill they were very nice to me they helped me with my nose piercings gotta smoke shop nice dab rigs and one of the piercers female of course I think she is one of the most beautiful woman I ever seen and I told her too these people are the best

Havent skated in ages let alone been in this shop (last time was probably in high school when I bought a street deck I still have nearly 20 years later). Recently, been looking into getting a surf skate (specialized skateboard for carving/pumping) but they didnt quite have what I was looking for on the floor (was looking for a complete that was in stock at one point). The worker then realized that he actually had a set of the Carver trucks in the back and pulled them out for me. As they didnt have the complete, he helped me with getting the rest of the components so I can build my own surfskate (which I look forward to getting this fully assembled). Would definitely do business there again. Prices seemed reasonable compared to online, plus supporting a local business during these tough times.

Came back today for new nose jewelry. Kelis helped me (sorry if I misspelled) but loved the customer service, and hospitality. I always have a wonderful experience here....thank you!

I had such an awesome experience getting my nose pierced here. There was about 4 piercings ahead of me and I was in there in under 15 mins. Dianna was super sweet & helpful.

This place is really cool. I had a rough idea of what I wanted and they helped me find new shoes I wanted. Also happened to have a bag I was looking for. I also ended up buying new grip tape here since apparently graphic tapes are not very good. Im glad they just told me to get mob instead of something fancy but useless. They even let me put it on my board at the shop, which I know is pretty normal but its still cool. They have a huge selection of skateboards, not that I needed one but there are tons of cool ones. I also like that they do more than board. They give piercings and such. I dont want a piercing, but its an option if you do.

Called about a loaded brand skateboard. Drove over to check it out. There was a line to get in and Orbit was doing a good job of covid protocols. Upon entering was immediately asked if I needed help and they remembered me calling and introduced me to the guy I spoke with. Super nice, brought out every loaded board they had. Price matched, offered service on board post purchase and gave me a free drink on the way out. Amazing skate shop! I’ll only buy from Orbit Skates! Nice job guys!

It was amazing. They have lots of Things to choose from. I was so surprised when I went inside and saw more than just Skateboard. They have sweaters,T shirts, daggers , pocket knives ,small area of a smoke shop, variety of stickers, Different types of statues and toys ,piercin. This is a store you really need to go see. After seeing my 8 year old trying to do tricks on his plastic skateboard I decided to check out my local shop to get him a real board.I was blown away by how helpful the staff was. I havent skated in 17 years so I wasnt in the loop with all the latest boards and gear.Sal and his staff took his time with getting me and my son fitted with a custom boards. I left very satisfied with my purchase and will be going for all my skate gear.Customer service was A+, support your local shop!

The best skate shop anywhere. The employees and owner are the best. Get to know them and if your cool to them, they will be cool to you. I had to make the trip from San Francisco to get my roommate his first board which they gave him a great price and hooked up the board for him. Definite stop if your in the east bay.

From skate stuff to piercings, gifts and trinkets.... this store has it all!!! But this review in particular is about the Wildberry incense they carry. They sell their sticks 10/ $1. I have NEVER found a store that matches that price, and Wildberry is high quality incense. Not to mention the guy who helped me, Sal (seemed like the owner), was super friendly and engaging. I love this place!

My eyes caught something on the maps as leaving the mall. Wow a skate shop aswell as other things. Something new. Always looking for new. Tri valley sucks in that area. 😕.. Buddy and I turned around and parked. Walked in and everyone working there was saying high in a friendly way... Not fake.. looking at the ground or whatever. Felt real. So walked up to someone and asked do you have glass here. Behind the curtain my friend. Okay. Thats new and walked thru and there whats I am looking for. To many opportunities of new things. Wow. Not only was the guy I was dealing with didnt pressure me to buy or push me like cattle to hurry up and get out. He answered all my questions and even taught me some new things and showed me real quality glass. I would drive 20 miles in traffic out my way just not only for glass. The customer service that was provided. I spend money with moms and pops and local places like this and would recommend to anyone out here in the boring tri valley to take a trip its worth it. I have been coming to orbit for years for different things, and always a wonderful experience but yesterday..... my sister and I went to get piercings on a whim staff was super friendly as always, however the piercing I wanted was missing a word on the paper, (I asked for a vertical labret) and I almost received a labret :/ thankfully I Noticed I wasn’t clamped in the right spot overlooking this simple mistake I allowed the piercer to go ahead and wish I had left after the first mistake it is horribly bruised and incredibly crooked :(

I got my nose and ear pierced here and it got infected! She said it would be sore for 3 days but it’s been a month and although I took the ring off its still sore af I can’t even lay on my ear.... Piercing was not right!Please GET IT TOGETHER!

Cheapest decks on the west coast and free grip tape! Great employees, they helped me pick out a new skate set up at a decent price! The employees actual skateboard and they werent misogynistic. They even threw in their skate movie. I drove from Oakland to this skate shop definitely worth it, best selection and not bougie. Also have good deals. NO SCOOT ZONE.

Bought a skateboard there returned it an hour later because it didnt fit. the new one I purchased was 17 bucks cheaper, they would not give me my change back since this purchase was a little bit cheaper. I was offered stickers but that just irritated me more. Ive shopped here for as long as I can remember at least 15 years I will not be going back. Im sure that this is the only review Ive ever done for a business establishment and definitely owe one to these guys at Orbit Skates. I called in inquiring about longboards and spoke with Keanu. After a quick conversation, I told him I would come by to check out their spot. I had no idea what I was really looking for, but Keanu walked me through their huge selection and helped me settle on a SICK Landyachtz battle axe paper tiger longboard. I definitely appreciate Keanus patience and knowledge on what would suit me the most based on my skill level and budget. I absolutely recommend checking them out!

This has been the go to place since my brothers and I were kids. I introduced my boyfriend to this shop. Bought my niece her first board and they were patient with her picking out the parts she wanted.

A staple in Eastbay skate stores they also have a nice selection of clothing and nic nacs/ collectors items. There is a head shop in the back that has a nice selection of pipes and bongs. The staff and owners are very nice and will work with you to make sure you get a fair deal.

Guy at the counter sold me a fake cart and then laughed at me because I was stupid enough to buy a fake cart anyways other than that it’s a really cool place and I got my ears pierced here

I ordered a board online last year. It arrived and was basically unrideable; it pulled to the right out of the box.So I found a local shop, ORBIT SKATES.I walked in and immediately regretted buying a board through Amazon.Not only did Orbit Skates have a fair priced selection and unique designs, they were welcoming and down to Earth. There was none of the cliquey skater attitude that can permeate some skate shops. Ones I walked out of immediately.They helped me sort out technical details and I was on my way.And when that board finally died (Not a great choice to begin with) Guess who got my return business?

The employees are very friendly and helpful. They ask if you need help with finding anything, but if you say you are only browsing, they leave you to it.

More of a head shop than a skate shop, but its the only skate shop around so go here and buy skate stuff or well be left with the internet...despite not having a huge selection, they have all the primo skate essentials with only the OG brands.
