Love this shop and me and my wife have both gotten pieces from here. Ben and Nate are who we’ve worked with but all the guys here are pretty cool and do some cool work. Great concepts and lots of cool stuff on the wall.I first came here last year and got a “get what you get” tattoo from the gumball machine from Ben and have since been back and had him do a couple more pieces on the same arm.Highly recommend coming here for your first, 10th or hundredth tattoo !

If you have anxiety about picking the right place for your next tattoo, rest assured knowing you found an amazing spot. Every single artist in this place is talented. Ive personally stuck with Ben for my work but have absolutely admired everyones work in the shop. These guys are also for the community, always having fundraisers or raffles contributing all proceeds to charities chosen. That only proves that these guys not only care about how you look but also how you feel. Im a military spouse who gets uprooted every 3-4 years, and I am so glad to have found this place while stationed here. There is also good parking, accommodating hours and walk-ins are welcome.

Pastime is hands down the coolest tattoo shop in the Bay Area. They have easily become my favorite and only shop I will ever visit. Not only is it impeccably clean and welcoming, but the friendly atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Its evident that they prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for their clients. Every artist here is top-notch, but Billy has been my go-to since 2018, consistently exceeding my expectations with his work. Recently, Ive had the pleasure of getting a few pieces done by Buddha, and Im absolutely thrilled with the results. I couldnt be happier with my tattoos. If youre considering getting a tattoo, I cannot recommend Pastime enough.

Pastime is the real deal. These folks are true artists that take their craft very seriously. Ive gotten two tattoos from Ben in the last few years and working with him was great. I had a very specific idea on the designs and he provided the perfect blend of incorporating my vision with his artistic expertise. Additionally, Ben was patient with me as a newbie in answering questions I had about the process, what to expect, and the whole crew was supportive during each session. Ben has truly given me a gift in his work. My tattoos have enormous meaning for me and have become a daily reminder of what I value most in life. Working with Ben and Pastime Tattoo might be one of the biggest cost-vs-benefits of any decision Ive made in my adult life. I cant recommend them any more highly.

Easily my favorite tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. All the artists here are incredibly friendly and helpful, and do amazing work. You can trust anyone here to give you what you want, if not something better than what you had in mind. Immaculate vibes, great music playing, this tattoo shop has it all. I’ve had the pleasure of getting tattooed by Nate, Ben, Buddha, and Billy and highly recommend them all!

Pastime is the only shop I go to! I’ve followed Ben’s work since he moved back to the Bay and him and Nate opened the shop up. Very clean and comfortable shop, all the artists there are fantastic. I recommend Pastime to anyone I come across who wants tattoos!

From last year until two weeks ago, I have been having both arm sleeves tattooed by Ben at Pastime Tattoo. This is a fantastic place for tattoos. All the artists there are super friendly, helpful, and perceptive. I definitely recommend this amazing workshop.

I love Pastime. I started coming here in 2019 and have several tattoos from Nate (including an in-progress cover-up that already looks amazing) and a few other artists from flash events. Watching the shop grow and expand really makes me happy and proud. The crew is funny, chill, respectful and professional. As soon as you walk in, you know youre in good hands. Even just hanging out, the atmosphere is inviting. Its a privilege to get tattooed by such awesome, knowledgeable people. I will definitely keep coming back. I followed my artist here when she was doing a guest spot. While I’ve never been tattooed by anyone from the shop technically, I’ve seen their work during my own sessions and they’re all extremely talented. The shop itself is gorgeous; very clean, tons of room and natural light. Everyone in the shop is super chill, it’s got great vibes and a very easy going atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy spot. Extra bonus, it’s super easy to get to and there’s always plenty of street parking.

Last weekend I went to Pastime Tattoo with my family. Nate and Ben gave us tattoos in memory of my daughter. I was nervous because this was my first tattoo but they quickly put me at ease. The guys in the shop made us feel so welcomed and the positive, fun energy was definitely contagious. Thank you Nate and Ben (and the whole crew) for being so wonderful. Had to redo my review for the only place Ill set foot in for tattoosits been 3 years since I got tatted up, and I have always been itching to come back here, before getting tattoos , I was constantly visiting past time and Ben and the rest of the team would always welcome me in, I had lots of questions and they had all the answers, I partnered with Ben specifically, he is beyond talented and took care of the projects and delivered great results, i love the tattoos i currently have, and i will come back and ger connected with ben again, thanks again ben , love the boxers and the cat in the hat alot! hope youve been well man

Awesome shop, great chill dudes who care about your well being. When I got the cuff of my wrist covered I became dizzy and my artist Buddha immediately suggested we stop, gave me a moment to drink some water, gave me a little spritz of numbing cream and continued with my tattoo. Great movies and or music playing, TONS of great flash sheets to look at while there, overall amazing shop with amazing dudes!

I have 4 tattoos from Pastime. Been inked by Ben and Billy. I am going back for more, and I will always go here. Easy online purchases and easy to chat with each artist. I plan on getting inked by other artists there as well. Pastime Tattoo is amazing!

Ben was amazing! The whole crew was very friendly. I talked to a few artist looking for a joker memorial tattoo for my deceased brother. No one was really into it. Ben was super down to earth, first thing he said was in so sorry about your brother, he had compassion and hes a very talented artist. Great traditional shop with knowledgeable, talented and professional artists. Artists are super friendly and outgoing. The shop is clean and covered in amazing art..tons of designs to choose from! I have been getting tattooed by Billy Boston and my tattoos have come out 10xs better than I can imagine every time. I love the shop and enjoy every visit! Pastime is an amazing shop! Clean work, professional and friendly artists. I was a walk in client and Nate took my request and KILLED it! So crisp and clean. Seriously check them out! Shop is small but no big deal because the quality is incredible! The horse shoe in the pictures was mine. Totally amazing.

Great shop even better after the expansion. Several artist to choose from and lots of art to choose from or find inspiration from. Great location and even good tacos across the street if you have to wait for a bit. But most importantly they are clean and sterile with their work and handle everything in a professional manner. Shout out to pastime and the crew over there.

I was really excited to get tattooed here, having seen such good reviews from others, but had a really horrible experience with the artist Billy who was completely rude and obnoxious to me. He blew me off again and again and didnt even do any work for me to speak of for over two weeks after I gave him the deposit.He clearly doesnt understand what it means to run a business and shouldnt be at such nice shop with such high reviews. If you are gonna go here use one of the other artists. Billy clearly has no need for customers or their needs and wants, and maybe not even for their money either.Seriously, dont go here. Go down the street to Infamous Tattoos or any other shop for that matter. This was the worst customer service I have ever received.

Who are you trying to fool. I walked in asked about some pricing and art from some rude guy behind the counter. I walked in and out. Ill stick with my guy Freddy Corbin.

Called prior to walking in, arrived requested to speak with person on phone. He was on point and then someone an artist and possibly owner entered into the conversation started asking questions. I shared my work needed, he asked is it a cover up?? No. He said I have customer after suggesting I speak with someone else. The available artist approached the counter and shared I dont do color (not that I asked) no introduction and was randomly throwing out prices. I politely said Thank You, and walked out feeling off energy. Liked the person on the phone. Not returning with light brown skin.

I wanted to repair an old tattoo. Nothing big. Nothing expensive. I got exactly what I ordered. A fantastic job by Nate. So far above what i thought i needed. Exceptional work. The color came out better than I dreamed. The price was better than I thought it would be as well. Ill be back soon to get more. Great service and I had fun as well.

Great atmosphere with some talented artists. They run some cool promotions and their pricing is more than reasonable for the quality work you get.
