Got my earlobes pierced for the first time today and am so happy with the experience at slo piercing! The woman in the front was very kind and knowledgeable and Chavez my piercer was very quick and made sure I was happy with placement of all 4 earrings and made my comfortable before and during the process. They sent me home with a tote bag, saline spray and aftercare instructions. Completely satisfied with the experience and planning on getting another piercing when I go in to check on the first ones! Also had beautiful jewelry options!

Very good experience my sister has been to them several times and suggested them and they were very helpful in answering all my questions and picking out the perfect pieces. The cleanliness of the shop and the care they took to make sure everything was cleaned and ready for a great experience was excellent. Clover was very sweet and made sure I was completely prepared and satisfied. I definitely would recommend this shop.

Clover and Sydney were the sweetest people ever. Helped me pick out my jewelry and didn’t make me feel rushed at all! I got my nose pierced here 2 years ago, they were awesome. I recently went in to get my bridge piercing was super hyped but was unfortunately told I didn’t have the anatomy which was sad but thanks to Raven and the other girl they were so sweet and caring with me and hyped me up and told me that a Medusa and eyebrow would look perfect on me. This place is awesome they made me feel so confident about myself and were absolutely amazing!

Great experience, the studio is very clean and private. Raven did a fantastic job walking me through everything that would happen, and even had me do breathing exercises during the piercing procedure. Shes a perfectionist and made sure both piercings were placed perfectly! Definitely the place to go if youre nervous, or if youre traumatized from when you had your ears done with a gun at Claires/Walmart when you were 5.

We have been using SLO Piercing for 3 years. They are absolutely the cleanest and most professional piercer we have been to. They take their time in getting the piercing placed correctly as well as allowing enough appointment time to ask all your questions and choose your jewelry. We also love that they only use and sell high karat gold and titanium. This is your place for any piercing - young or old!

Chavez was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I got my flat and my second conch, and two other cartilage pierced, I had brought with me a piece I was hoping to use, he autoclaved it and helped me pick a good placement for it (the flat) all of the piercings healed fantastically and I was able to eventually change the two cartilage into an orbital like I had wanted! I’ve gotten many piercings from many piercers and Chavez is by far the best piercer I have visited. Highly recommend.Photos are 1+ year healed (had to retire flat due to headphone use)

Honestly, i absolutely LOVED it here! cleanliness, friendliness, professionalism, all of it exceeded my expectations as well as the pricing! the piercing has survived a sinus infection and allergies and hasn’t budged or bothered my sensitive skin. sydney and raven were super kind, gentle, and informative and i can’t wait to go in for a follow up for my piercing :)

Update 9/22/24:Yesterday, I went back for my third set of piercings from this lovely, amazing group of people, and I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to have found such a safe place to be pierced!Every single time I’ve gone in, I’m recognized by Sydney, Clover or whoever’s at the counter, and I don’t know if it’s me or my 70lb golden retriever service dog, who they all know and love as well. I have had the privilege to be pierced by Raven and Chavez, and am hopeful that my schedule will work out with Clover’s one of these weeks so I can get pierced by them! I cannot express how impressed I am with the entire team here.Hope you all enjoy your stickers I left you from Roswell and Taquito!Original review:I went today with my friend to get my first piercing in nearly ten years. I’d post a photo, but I can’t exactly post one due to the location (nipples). We were about ten minutes early, but we’re greeted right away by Chavez. He showed us my options for my piercing, and assured me that all of them would be good choices for me, even with me having a nickel allergy. He also was extremely accommodating with my service dog, and allowed him to be next to me on the floor/standing on the floor held by my friend while I laid on the table so he could work for me while being in an unusual situation. He answered any questions I had, and even told me what the cost would be prior to even starting. He also ensured total privacy, by locking the studio door so people couldn’t walk in while he was in the piercing room with me. If you’re ever looking for a new piercing, definitely go here!

I got my first piercings here a couple of days ago and Raven was wonderful. They were kind, welcoming, professional, and took a lot of care to get the placement exactly right.

Chavez did a second hole in my lobes and helped with adding jewelry to an old cartilage piercing. Raven was so thorough and helpful with explaining the aftercare and jewelry decision making. I felt confident and safe in SLO Piercing’s care! The went above and beyond to make sure our group had a great time for a special birthday! Jewelry was pricier than I expected, I would encourage staff and customers to ask questions around affordability. Overall, a very positive experience.

I got a nostril piercing from lah.pokes at Lompokes today. The whole experience was awesome. Lah was super helpful as I was selecting jewelry. She explained everything about the piercing process, including aftercare and answered all my questions. For me personally, the pain was 0-1 with 10 being the highest. Would recommend Lompokes without hesitation.

Before going to SLO piercing, I wrote a review and I just wanted to follow up on it. Now that I actually went, I thought it was only right to come back again and tell you how wonderful of an experience I had! Booking an appointment and filling out the forms was super easy. I am personally pretty horrible with needles but the piercer who helped me out, Clover, was super friendly and made it an absolute breeze. They were super encouraging and did not rush through it at all. When reviewing the placement, they make sure that the positioning was perfect and wanted my input as well. I really appreciate SLO piercing and Id 100% come back for another! If youre looking for a piercing, this is a great place to get one.

I got my seconds done here by Clover in December, which was quick and easy. I came back today, and Chavez shortened the back of them. I love the staff here; they’re so friendly and helpful! Sydney has great customer service. SLO Piercing is my favorite piercing spot!

I had such a positive experience here in regards to safety, cleanliness, and transparency. The location is easy to find and in a nice area of town right off the freeway. Everything was thoroughly sanitized before my piercings and choosing jewelry was simple and I was able to find some nice pieces within my budget. I’m already thinking about my next piercing!

Chavez did such a wonderful job at both my philtrum(Medusa) and my left lip! He made sure to place my left lip piercing perfectly adjacent since my right had been down unprofessionally years ago and got them to match! Very pleased with both!

I cannot say enough good things about my experiences here! Its a tradition of mine to get my ears pierced every year for my birthday, and Ive gotten 4 cartilage piercings here.Fernando completely sets this place apart. Its so clear how passionate he is for doing this work WELL and takes piercing seriously, something a lot of shops dont seem to do (stay informed yall). Fernando is super skilled, and made me feel comfortable and informed throughout the process. I appreciate that he works to get it the way I want but uses his expertise to create the best look and/or healing experience. (For ex, I wanted the snake and stud switched but he let me know the snake would probably catch on my hair a lot and make it a painful recovery. Im so grateful he told me because hair catching on jewelry hurts a LOT.A few of my piercings struggled in their recovery (my own fault haha), and the procrastinator I am put off visiting Fernando about it. Of course when I did, he switched out the post and the healing process took a 180 and I had relief from that day forward. He knows what hes doing -- listen to him about taking care of it and especially downsizing!! Also just have to throw in that hes super generous, a few months after getting my piercing one of them came off in the shower and I stepped on it, so it totally bent. Fernando replaced it, and when I asked what I owe, he just said Happy Holidays. This dude has my business for life.

I will literally never go to another piercer again, and I’m not being dramatic. My sister and I swear by this place. I’ve had multiple infected piercings from other shops, but I’ve never had an issue with Slo Piercing even with the same aftercare. I don’t even let my friends get piercings at other shops, so trust me when I say this is the place to go. I’ve never had a bad experience and have only had great things to say about the piercers! Highly recommend 1000 times over!!!

I decided to have pierced ears for the first time in my 60s and was very happy to find the professional needle piercing at SLO Piercing. I appreciate that they do only piercing and not anything else like tattoos. It’s a clean professional environment with highly knowledgeable and experienced people who are certified for piercings. I had a terrific experience with my piercing and follow up.

I got my piercing changed here and was really impressed! They were patient as I wanted to see multiple pieces of jewelry and as I kept asking for prices. Once I picked my jewelry everything was sanitized so thoroughly and I felt like it was the cleanest piercing experience I have had. Love this place

I got pierced at this location and the space was clean and comfortable. My friends were allowed in the piercing area and I was in and out super quick. It is a little on the pricy side when it comes to piercings in SLO but you do get what you pay for and a better healing process.

I’ve loved SLO piercing since my first visit! in my opinion, by far the most professional piercing studio in the local area with the most range and biggest selection of high-quality jewelry. I can personally say I have been to almost every piercing shop in the Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo area and have had the best experiences here. All of my facial piercing jewelry was sourced from SLO piercing, and my vertical labret (favorite :)) and nostrils were done by Chavez!

I was recommended by a friend to come here for nipple piercings because of how great of an experience she had getting hers done, and I’m so glad I listened!! Firstly, the shop itself is very clean and just has really calming vibes. I was pierced by Chavez, and he did a wonderful job. I was really nervous walking in, but he was so calm and kind that the calmness sort of rubbed off on me. Lol he showed me my jewelry options, and was very open about the costs and what my total would be depending on the jewelry I picked, which I greatly appreciated. He gave me a complete rundown on how the piercings would go so I was mentally prepared. He locked the front shop door which I appreciated SO much because it is ultimately a private area I was getting pierced so I was grateful for the secured privacy. Chavez marked me while standing so the piercings would be even, and then had me lay down for the piercing process. He went over a breathing exercise he likes his clients to do to make sure I was comfortable with it, and it helped IMMENSELY! He verbally walked me through every step so there were no surprises. Afterwards he was very through with aftercare and made sure I knew what my following steps would be. Overall, it was a really great experience and I will absolutely be only coming here for any future piercings, and I highly recommend you do too!

I have not gotten pierced yet by SLO Piercing but have been receiving good advice about my daith (which is taking over 2 years to heal) and it’s been doing much better. They’ve also been super responsive to my Insta messages and allowed me to stop by ten minutes before they closed due to my work schedule. Genuinely great piercing professionals and I can’t wait for my daith to finally heal so I can get another one with SLO Piercing!

I have been to see Lah at Lompokes 3 times now. Every piercing she does is perfect! She is professional and knowledgeable. The studio is small, but clean and professional. They are meticulous when it comes to sterilization/sanitization. Lah is always so pleasant to visit and I always look forward to what she’s going to help me create. Highly recommend!

The best piercer and piercing studio. I had a very bad experience with a different studio and ended up having to remove two of my piercings, so I was hesitant to go through the piercing experience again. But I booked an appointment with Slo Piercing to get my nose pierced and it was so quick and painless. My nose healed quickly and I was soon back for another piercing and once again the process was so easy, clean and quick - I barely noticed any pain.The other great thing is when I want to change my jewelry out (I’m terrible at doing it myself), they will let you book a jewelry change appointment.So happy that we have such a great piercing studio on the Central Coast.

I wanted a daith piercing but after a not so great experience at another piercing place, I was hesitant but Chavez nailed the position perfectly, I get so many compliments on it, and it healed in no time! Now he’s the only person I will go to!** addition, Chavez was fantastic when I was ready to change my jewelry for my Daith (original that I chose blocked my ear for ear buds) Chavez put in a gorgeous piece and adjusted it to fit the way I wanted. He rocks at customer service!

Hands down the best place in the 805 to get pierced! Highly recommend!! The studio has such a calm, welcoming vibe to it that I was not nervous at all to get pierced. Very very clean and sanitary. I got my earlobes re-pierced after theyd closed up years ago, and theyre already feeling better than my old piercings ever did :) Chavez is very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Hes a member of the APP and has many certifications. All jewelry is sterilized and high quality to minimize chance of infection, and he does a great job creating a calm environment that would be helpful for anyone from people getting their 10th piercing to people getting their 1st piercing. A high quality aftercare saline solution is provided, and aftercare instructions are automatically emailed to you when you fill out the consent form. I feel confident that my new piercings have the best possible chance of success :)

Came here with my 11 year old step daughter to get her second lobe piercings and I cannot recommend them enough. Everyone was super helpful, welcoming and awesome. They communicated every step of the process clearly and in detail. Fernando was super professional and kind, made us feel so at ease and so comfortable. The front staff were helpful and answered all of our questions about jewelry and pricing with patience and professionalism. The prices were incredibly fair, especially considering the above and beyond level of service we received.If you need or want piercings, this is absolutely the place to go. Being my first time going to a professional for a piercing, Chavez was a great first impression. The vibe of the shop was calming and put me under no pressure waiting for the room to be prepared. Both the employee at front and piercer, handled the ongoing confusion of what I wanted well, and were in general kind people. Everything seemed clean and quick with no problems whatsoever. Got my first piercings from Fernando on my birthday earlier this month. He’s the owner and only piercer on the central coast certified through the APP (you can actually find him on their website). I was super satisfied with the level of care and respect he had for me as a client when I expressed my fears, questions/concerns. I was super anxious and he created a very comfortable, relaxing and SANITARY environment! 100/10 would recommend, the jewelry selection is very fine and stylish. Booking was easy on the site he uses and you can fill out the consent forms when you get there by scanning a QR code. He sterilizes the jewelry/tools in the autoclave while you fill out the consent/paperwork and the whole process is streamlined/quick. I asked so many reasonable and ridiculous questions and he gave me answers for everything, I learned a lot while I was there! Worth every penny, and went back again with friends!

Chavez was great! Super sanitary throughout the entire process, and was very gentle and thorough. I was pretty picky about the placement but he had no complaints and helped me find the exact spot I wanted. Really professional and had a unique selection of jewelry.

So Im posting this review on behalf of my 7 year old son and myself. He had been begging to get his ears pierced for over a year now and due to the limited shops ( age appropriate) in the area I didnt even consider it. Last weekend he begged one more time while we were in slo and I gave in. Chavez is who we saw at the shop and he was amazing!!! He made it a great , positive and fun experience for my son and gave my son all the confidence in the world talking directly to him about the choices and aftercare. He was professional, The shop was extremely clean and he talked my son through the whole process and made him feel empowered with his choice. Literally the only place Id take someone who wants the service and experience without the overwhelming mature environment most piercing shops come with. 10/10 recommend 🌟

This place was highly recommended from my tattoo artist because I wanted to take my 15 year old for a navel piercing. Chavez is very nice and professional and made my daughter feel comfortable. Exceptional sanitation….everything was sealed and new! We loved our experience and would recommend for everyone.

My daughter and I have received over a dozen piercings from Chavez. After having gone to a few other piercing options in the county before finding him, I can say that he is hands-down the best piercer at the best value in the county. He is the only APP-certified piercer in the area, meaning that he follows the latest professional piercing practices in the industry. This is hugely important to me because my daughter has had some really bad outcomes with other piercings in the past, but not with any of her piercings from Chavez. He sterilizes his equipment and jewelry with a medical-grade autoclave, and he has a practically painless piercing technique. I know that everyone is different when it comes to pain, but my daughter and I both think that our piercings were almost pain-free after an initial hard pinch. It makes it so easy to keep going back to him for more piercings. His aftercare advice has been spot-on, and my piercings from him have been healing quickly and easily, even my several cartilage piercings. He also includes downsizing appointments in his initial service fee. I know there are other, cheaper places to get a piercing in the county, but in the long-run, I think it’s better to pay a little more for a great result. Also, can I talk about his jewelry selection? He only stocks implant-grade titanium and gold, I believe, because they have the absolute best outcomes for new piercings. His selection is high-quality and GORGEOUS. With his help, my daughter and I have the styled ears of our dreams. Yes, you have to make an appointment (unless he has walk-in slots, which he announces on his Instagram), and minors need to have their parent/guardian and correct documentation, but it is absolutely WORTH IT. Finally, Chavez has just the sweetest and most patient vibe. He really wants his clients to love their experience. I can’t recommend him more highly.

Seriously the best place for piercings from Paso to Santa Barbra. I’m not exactly an easy client but I knew I was in good hands. I had been wanting a septum piercing (again) for some time and when it came down to it.. I just had too much scar tissue to let it happen so instead I got two nostril piercings. When I tell you the patience he had with me throughout the entire process.His shop is Super clean! Everything gets sterilized before use as well. You get what you pay for and it’s worth it for the quality of jewelry and piercing you get. I definitely wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I came here with both of my aunts on March 8th and service was amazing, the guy upfront was really nice and polite, he answered all of our questions about the piercings we were going to get and the place was really sanitized and he did an amazing job on cleaning and sanitizing the work station! Great ear piercing experience with my 9 year old at the Lompoc location.

I personally have not gone to this piercing place but I have heard great things about it. I will say, I contacted their office through their social media and got a late response on my third contact. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to getting my helix done here!

Got my piercings here a few months ago. While its definitely more expensive than doing it yourself, the security you feel having a professional doing it is worth the price in my opinion. They also have a variety of earrings for you to chose from!
