I walked in to get a tattoo today and I had a great experience. The girl behind the front desk was friendly and helped connect me to an artist that was available to do my tattoo.The tattooing process itself went well, the shop was clean and sanitary which made me feel confident in the artists abilities. I enjoyed the tattooing process and after a couple hours I walked out with a nice tattoo. I am definitely satisfied and plan on coming back for some larger pieces soon!

I’ve been a fan of Kylelifetime for years. Neither the shop nor the artist disappointed! The spot looks like a museum with really great art and seating. kyle’s super talented! If you’re in SB I highly recommend his work.

This is the main tattoo parlor I go to, in and out of Santa Barbara. I have multiple tattoos, most of which were done here. They’re very clean, have some fun people, and very talented. Just got my most recent tattoo from Allie G. who did a phenomenal job (monstera leaves).I highly recommend this tattoo shop over any other in Santa Barbara, especially if you’re looking for your first tattoo. The artists are so much friendlier and won’t try to scam you. I had gone to another shop for my first tattoo and the front desk guy completely tried to overcharge me by hundreds. Luckily the artist said it was way too much and charged me much less.

Super awesome shop! Took us as walk ins and helped us design our tats. Super kind and skilled! Jake was attentive to my request and made me an amazing tattoo!! Highly recommend tats from him! Felt comfortable the entire time.

Never thought I would just walk in and get a tattoo. In the past I would make an appointment months in advance with my guy and show up and get my tat. But this place is definitely worthy of a walk-in tattoo. Everyone there is super talented and nicer than most humans youll ever meet. The prices are higher than I remember but thats ok because youre getting quality from a professional who is safe, clean, knowledgeable, talented and fun to be around. 805 Ink is my new favorite. We made an appointment weeks ago with Kyle. His style looked like it was exactly what we wanted. Kyle nailed it. Clean lines and beautiful art. He was thorough and fun to chat with but serious about cleanliness. I would highly recommend Kyle and 805 Ink.

This is one of the kindest tattoo experiences Ive ever had. Every person I spoke to was kind and welcoming. The shop is clean and well decorated as well. I was honored to have Jake tattoo me. Jake was so so kind and considerate. He has the most gentle hand and hes awesome to be around. He made the entire experience easy and fun.

This is my third tattoo with Chad and Ive always had a great experience. Hes talented, patient, relaxed and professional. My daughter and I came in together for tattoos - she had delicate work on her bicep, and I had a previous tattoo by Chad colored in - I trusted him to pick the colors and shade it and he did a beautiful job. Also, hes the fastest tattoo artist Ive worked with. Bonus points for that!

Ken Knox is amazing. He has done a couple of my tattoos and he has never disappointed. High quality and very professional. He takes him time to get your vision right and always makes designs better than I could image on my own. Highly highly highly recommend!

They were so incredibly friendly and helpful. They also were very patient with me since i had left my ID at home and had to get it. Kenny is an incredible artist and very chill. He helped me with my design and helped me figure out how i’d like it (as it’s my first tattoo haha) Anyway i would 100% come back and get another tattoo here! definitely worth it :)

This place is well kept and the staff is very welcoming. An extremely clean shop. The wife and I traveled from New Hampshire to Santa Barbara over the weekend and she had scheduled her appointment a month ahead of schedule. Chad was a very nice guy and was nice enough to come in on his day off to do her tattoo. While I was there I got bit by the tattoo bug and had Jake work on something nightmare on elm st esque. He surely did not disappoint.. (See picture). Jake stayed open 2 hours extra to finish my tattoo. I can not speak highly enough about this business. Fantastic artists, tight run ship, and great atmosphere!

We all live in Utah, rode a total of 1900.7 miles out and back to attend Babes Ride Out 2022, in Santa Barbara. We are a close bunch of friends and wanted to share the experience with tattoos! Everyone knows, in Santa Barbara, 805 Ink is the place to go. We called them and they were super awesome , and worked us into the schedule with Sean. Super cool place and we love the tats!

I received a custom family crest tattoo from Seth. I worked with him to combine ideas from multiple pieces of artwork. He used all the material I gave him to turn it into the perfect tattoo version of the art I provided. He was great with giving me what I wanted while also improving on the design with his own artistic ability, as well as making it fit to be an actual tattoo, not just art on paper. The entire shop was extremely professional and courteous. It was my first tattoo and a great experience. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a tattoo.

Rude tattoo artist that didn’t even pay attention to what I was trying to explain. The girl in the reception had to run back and forth to ask him questions because he was too ”busy” to spare 5 minutes when I had waited 4 hours. I showed a picture of what I wanted, and where I wanted it.He was completely rude, would never spend my money there! What a joke.Went to Golden Eagle that met me as a customer and atleast paid attention to me.

Great experience! Went in to get my nose pierced, without an appointment, and I was able to get it done within the hour. Slobodan is great! Ive since gone in for a healing check up (a month or so later) and it was quick.

Great place to get work done. A clean, organized, professional shop with killer in house artwork on the walls. Everyones friendly, Kens a down to Earth guy and we had a great conversation while he worked. He created art exactly as I wanted and described, but even better than I imagined. Been here twice now and have had great experiences both times. Jake took me as a walkin over the summer and was friendly and helpful, plus he does a kickass tattoo. Decided to stick with what I know and come back here for another tattoo, even though I live all the way by LAX. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back again.

Kenny is amazing, quick, and did a cover up that is absolutely impossible to notice. The parlor/studio is clean, sterile professional and right on State and Victoria across from Starbucks!! Its my 3rd tattoo from 805 I wont go anywhere else!!!

Excellent first custom tattoo experience. I really liked the end result and the advice given to me regarding tattoo care. I would recommend to get ahold of your artist in person rather than email or phone if you want a quick response time. For me it wasnt an issue but others may find this useful to know ahead of time.

On their website they advertise piercings and they dont do piercings and whoever answered the phone was rude.

DO NOT go here for a nose piercing. Your nose will be messed up and might end up with two holes in it. The piercer does not know what he is doing, I had to go back 4 times in the span of less than a month from getting my piercing because he messed it up and kept making it worse. Stay safe out there, and go somewhere else.

I went into 805 Ink to get my tattoo repaired. I had the original tatto done there and they never told me then what they said now. The young man who talked with me about the work told me that my skin was too damaged to work on. I WAS STUNNED!!! He said I had scar tissue and would not do any work on me. He made me feel like I had something wrong with me. IT WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE ! I asked him if he needs glasses? He turned red and told me i dont have to be rude about it! I do not have scar tissue or damaged skin. I left and was thankful that he did not work on me then went down to Los Angeles and had a pro do the work said I had no damage and I spent my $120.00 at their establishment INSTEAD OF AT 805 INK! The tattoo artist that worked on me said that he saw no damage and did the repair perfectly !

I was an afternoon walk in and they were able to get me in. Jake and Aj were great! Aj was very welcoming and friendly. Jake did a fantastic job on my tattoo. Place is clean and professional. Would highly recommend them!

I should have taken it as a sign when I walked into the shop and my artist Danny Meza had completely forgotten about my tattoo despite making the appointment weeks ahead of time and discussing the design months ahead of time over email. I wanted some small lettering covered up with an Edward ScissorHands tattoo and what I got was Rosey Odonnell in a bad wolverine costume.Not only did Danny lose the drawing I had done of the design we had originally agreed upon but the rushed stencil he came up with made it extremely hard to tell what the end result would be. I didnt get to see the awful comic book reference he used until it was too late. The one thing I had commented on about the stencil was how the hair needed to be more exaggerated but all Danny did was give Rosie a thicker perm. And the list goes on: Theres an odd turtle hump on Rosies back, the scissor hands look more like weird dinosaur claws, theres two thumbs on the right hand, the left knee is upside down, and from the stencil it looked like length of its legs were going to be long but in reality the groin area is what got extended LONGER THEN THE TORSO!!I left the shop in tears and still get sick to my stomach everytime I have to look at it which is almost all the time because its on my FOREARM! Im getting married in few months and hope to have a baby shortly after and now I have to live with this disaster in all my wedding photos the pictures of me holding my child which has made me extremely depressed. I did so much research on the artist I wanted that to be betrayed like this is literally heart breaking. Danny Meza gets to go on with life as usual and Im stuck with this humiliating ink stain that cant be covered up or even removed by surgery without damaging my other tattoos. I have other bad tattoos but none of them have come close to killing my self-esteem as much this one has.
