Got my piercings here and had a great experience. The piercer was very thorough in explaining the process and what was going on as well as healing advice. There was a variety of gorgeous jewelry to chose from as well. This is a very personal, professional experience for those who value quality over cheapness. I always have a great time and will definitely be back

I had the pleasure of having Tina as my artist. I was looking for someone who did good line work in the SoCal area and luckily right in town Tina’s work stood out. It’s my first piece and I couldn’t be happier with it. I was impressed by her detail and shading. I wish I knew about this place sooner!! Kashi was so awesome and listened to my concerns and experience and was overall super kind and comforting while changing my jewelry and offering advice about healing my already completed piercing. The people who work there are very kind and helpful and I can tell they are very intelligent and intuitive about their work. Kashi and I were able to decide on a plan based on what we already knew about my healing process for my existing piercing and while we arent sure yet if it will work I feel very confident and educated about my decision and what I need to do to heal my piercing!! Ive come here on multiple occasions, to get a tattoo done on my upper arm and getting my nipples pierced. And each experience was amazing each time. Tattoo artist and piercers alike are very kind and know what they are doing. My tattoo was done precisely with Tina (whom relocated) but my entire experience at Energy was the best, going to this fat friendly and LGBTQ friendly space was comforting to be in. I would also likely never get a piercing elsewhere, the piercer Kashi is amazingly trained and knows exactly what she is doing, I would trust no other piercer. She was very concise about placement, along with telling me the cost on multiple occasions. I definitely recommend Energy Tattoo and Body piercing if you are seeking out to get a tattoo done or a piercing, I already recommend it to everyone I know. I would definitely come here again

I had my consult with Justine last week and am currently getting tattooed by her right now, and her work and her art was honestly everything I wanted and more! She was super attentive during the consult, answered every question I had easily, and the piece she made for me contained everything I wanted and was better than I could have imagined.This is my second tattoo, but its way less painful than my first was. Im super happy I chose to go here and I will get more art from Justine and other artists here in the future! 12/10 would recommend to everyone I know

SO EXPENSIVE!!!! Went here for my first tattoo and didn’t understand pricing, got completely ripped off. My tattoo is less than 2x2 inches on the back of my neck and I brought in my picture. Originally was quoted 150-250 which is pricey but not insane. After 20 minutes of tattooing it’s done and my charge was 325, not including tip. Absolutely insane, do not go here. There are shops just as good for half the price.

These guys were great. They made us feel comfortable and were able to schedule us in while we were in town visiting from Seattle. I would have rated this a full five stars, but decided on 4 because all of my communication regarding scheduling had to be done via Instagram messenger exclusively. Maybe I am old school, but I would have preferred to have email appointment confirmations, texts or phone calls rather than having to use IG. But other than that, I felt like they did great work and were super friendly. The price was completely fair. And I did tip. Don’t forget to tip! Update on the actual tattoo itself: I was explicitly told that my finger tattoo would take several sittings to ensure good coverage. I am not sure how to judge this work (one sitting only), but I am happy with the results of my first sitting. For me, it was the experience that was most important. My daughter and I decided to both get tattoos. We sent in what we wanted, they gave us a quote and we booked the appointment. After getting out tattoos we were charged $400 more than what they said it would be. We had to pay $800 for two simple tattoos that took less than 30 minutes each. I think the tattoo artist Elizabeth Avila is good at what she does but lacks integrity as a professional. If you get a tattoo here make sure you have her write the price down ahead of time!!!!!!!

Candi and Hannah were amazing! My husband and I came in to get both of our first tattoos. Candi was really great at helping find 2 appointments at the same time for both of us. The shop is really chill and super homey inside so we felt comfortable. It didnt hurt as much as I thought it would!

I went into Energy Tattoo for an ankle tattoo and it came out better than I imagined. The artist was very communicative and helpful in designing it together as well as making it work around another tattoo I already had there. I left very happy with the amazing artwork. The energy in this shop is phenomenal. Always warm and inviting from the staff I’ve encountered so far. My first visit ended in an impulsive decision to get my septum pierced. It wasn’t my original intention since I had gone to support a friend getting her lobes pierced once again, but Aaron (?) was so helpful and informative that I felt comfortable enough to get a needle through my nose. Flash forward three days later and the ball to my septum ring had fallen out while I was brushing my teeth over a sink and disappeared into the drain. I didn’t know where to find a replacement so I went back to the shop and once again they were super helpful! They helped me reattach the ball and then gave me extra in case I needed it. They told me to have a wonderful day and I was off. I would totally recommend visiting them! I will be back for more piercings and maybe a tattoo.

Went in for my first tattoo today. I liked the atmosphere and feel of the place. I was also happy with the artist as I had already stalked her Instagram and liked her work. Im happy with the tattoo that I got. The not so great thing was that I was never told that there was a minimum charge for whatever tattoo you got. Therefore I ended up spending quite a high price for little 2 1/2 inch tattoo. Had I know that there was a minimum charge, I would have either not gotten the tattoo or I would have gotten a second little one. Im kind of bummed about that. Especially since it was my first experience. Still happy with my little tattoo though.

I just had a really great experience at Energy Tattoo. I came in a few weeks ahead of time and scheduled a tattoo appointment with Nic, one of the owners. She was so professional and warm and made me feel comfortable right away. This parlor has an awesome atmosphere run by mostly (all?) female artists. It’s very clean and organized, and they quoted me a fair price. We chatted throughout my tattoo and the end result is exactly what I had envisioned. I can’t recommend this parlor enough - it was definitely the best tattoo experience of the 3 tattoos I have.

So glad we chose to go to Energy Tattoo for our pieces. Everyone there is so friendly & professional. Tina is phenomenally talented. Looking forward to getting more work done here in the future. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

I got my amazing ink here and a couple of piercings. The girls are SUPER FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL, AND SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!! My tattoo healed exceptionally fast as well as my piercings. I recommend this place 100 percent.

Nic was absolutely wonderful-so kind, calm, and attentive! The shop vibe was perfect-chill and cooperative. My mother, my sister, and I all got matching tattoos and we couldnt be happier with the result!

Attention to detail. I’ve gone for piercings before but I wanted to get a tattoo. I am pleased with the end result and definitely recommend for tattoos as well as piercings. They are professional and great artists.

Wonderful and professional tattooists and piercers. The place I would recommend to all my friends. Very welcoming and spacious open floor plan, with privacy when needed. Great music and art on the walls and a killer set of flash to choose from.

Even though we were not able to go their. Erin (not sure how its spelled sorry!) Was more than helpful. My 5 year old has been begging to get her ears pierced and we have a tradition that all aunts have to be present. Theyvare all here today. Unfortunately all places we called had to be at least 10 years of age. Mileys only 5. Erin was so helpful with giving good advice on what too look out for while going to clairs (the only place that does under 10 years of age) and super sweet! Thanks so much!! Great service! Wish miley could have had you do it!!

Great experience all around! I got a conch piercing and they explained everything really well and walked me through the whole process.

NEVER GET YOUR PERCINGS HERE ! WORST PLACE !!The place looked sketchy from the minute I walked in. I went in a few months ago to get my tragus percing done. The lady who did my piercing said that the piercing was going to be long and that it was going to stick out, but to change it in about 3 months. A few weeks after getting my piercing, out of the random it started getting all gross and started growing a huge bump around until it completely closed up on me. (I did take very good care of it , as I was instructed) I had to go to my doctor to go get it removed and he told me that it got infected due to the lack of poor sanitizing of the tools. Also, the percing they used was not a correct parsing for a tragus. NEVER NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN.

In short... I love this place. Ive been a customer for many years. This all female shop feels comfortable and hospitable. If you come in with a smile... youll get one back from these talented ladies!

Ive gotten all my tats and piercings done here since I turned 18. Theyve always done exactly what I asked for and they always treat you well.

Extremely overpriced for piercings/cheap jewelry. Had to take out my helix piercing because the jewelry was so cheap that it wouldnt heal.

Staff was very friendly and personable. Talented ARTISTS and preparations for a clean work station were excellent.

The staff is nice and J Medina is the best. He always looks out for the customer and does top notch work!
