As a returning client who has gotten both pierced and tattooed at the establishment, they’re a greatly staffed and knowledgeable. Ive gotten almost all of my piercings from them and 2 tattoos from resurrection and they are very pleasant to work with.For piercings I highly recommend dez, she worked with me when getting my eyebrow piercings and when I explained I wanted to get both sides done and to have them even but could only do one at a time due to money she was happy to work with me. I came back a week later and she did a spectacular job! Dez has also done the rest of my matching piercings and everytime has made sure they’ve been as even as they could be! Dez has great attention to detail!As for tattoo work I’ve gotten a red ink tattoo by a former tattoo artist Sami and she did a spectacular job and was very professional and was attentive to make sure I came out with the right placement that I wanted and was happy with the shade of red.Adrianna is also a fabulous tattoo artist that I had gotten tattoo work with most recently, I came in to get a consolation of a tattoo cover up. She took a look at what I wanted to cover and off the bat she had quite a few ideas and was happy to work with the tattoo style I wanted too. Also was very sweet and worked within my budget for some fantastic work. We came to a conclusion of what I wanted tattooed and she did amazing the line work and style is all I could’ve hoped for and it came out spectacular.Overall a 10/10 for me very professional and very great staff, would absolutely recommend.

This shop is unlike any other shop you’ve ever walked into. From the second you walk in, to the second you walk back out, you feel COMPLETELY welcome. No douchey, rude, and unwelcoming staff. (I’ve walked into my fair share of those) The owner has a heart of gold. Their work is phenomenal, and very well priced, and they stand behind their work! I would 100x over recommend Resurrection Ink to anyone for tattoos and piercings.

I got both my nostrils pierced and the staff were friendly and amazing to interact with. The piercer took plenty of time to make sure my placement was perfect and talked me through everything, she is definitely the best piercer I’ve had so far. I had a minor issue with my payment and they were so kind to fix the situation for me. I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in getting pierced.

Love this place every service I received left me feeling satisfied. Staff are very friendly and professional and knowledgeable. The environment is nice and clean and chill. When I’m considering my tattoos or piercings resurrection ink is my go to! Today I was a walk in for a tattoo, Rob took care of me . He made me feel comfortable I got exactly what I asked for he does great work!

I love this shop. Jimmy was so patient with my when I was getting my (very large) tattoo of my cat. It turned out so beautiful, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. I also got my nostril pierced here by Ashton, who was equally kind and professional! The work this shop turns out is stunning and you would be hard pressed to find another shop with as wonderful staff! Receptionists and artists who haven’t worked with me take time to talk with me.

I came in last month to get a tattoo for their flash deals each month and told jimmy about an idea I wanted for a tattoo I was happy with how the first tattoo went I came back three days later and got a tattoo out of their gumball machine where I learned jimmy had started drawing up what I spoke to him about I just got the tattoo today and it turned out awesome I highly recommend this shop and it’s artist!

Hanna did an amazing job on my tattoo. I sent her a reference photo via the online booking portal and she turned it into an absolute masterpiece I will love forever!

I was at the shop 2 days ago. The shop was very clean and welcoming. We met with the artist (Rob) and gave him our ideas and showed him pictures of what we wanted. After discussing our desires he went to work and designed 3 awesome images for us to proof. We were excited and very happy with the proofs and we discussed pricing and agreed. He started with mine and I truly wouldn’t have known he was doing the tattoo if I hadn’t seen him start. He done the 2 on me and one on Angi. Very professional, clean and sanitary, and welcoming to his booth. I will be going each and every time that I (we) are nearby. The price was very reasonably for the 3 tattoos. If you are looking for artwork go see him and do not hesitate. You won’t find a more awesome person to do your work.Rob,We are looking forward to when we return for more ink. Than you sir for being available to help with all that you done to make this happen.

Rob was amazing. One of the best tattoo artists that Ive worked with. I would have gave this place a 5 star rating if it hadnt been for the blonde girl behind the counter (who would not say who she was) that was rude to us the minute we walked in and asked us if we were ready to pay, rushing us out the door. Shes bad for business. Will never go back to Ressurection Ink again!

So Ive waited months to make this post as I was hoping for a better outcome. I came here a while back to get my nose pierced. I immediately noticed upon leaving that the jewelry was not sitting flush with my nose. One side of it was pressing into my skin as if the piercing was done at an angle. I figured this was due to swelling (wrong) .. a few weeks after when swelling was gone it was still sitting at a crooked angle. So much so that the long back of the piercing jewelry would not sit inside my nose correctly. It was situated where it was stabbing me in the upper septum at all times. This paired with the fact that one side of the tiny stone on the jewelry was practically embedded into my nose, it would not heal. I used sea salt cleansing products regularly, tea tree oil, and eventually did a round of antibiotics to see if that would help the inflammation. After cleaning it thoroughly last night, I woke up this morning to more blood and puss which was my last straw. I took the piercing out, which was extremely hard to do considering the angle in which it was pierced.0/10 do not recommend this place. Please go somewhere that the piercers take more care and pride in their work.

I experienced the artist not successfully transferring the planned design onto my skin. I was then knowingly over charged for the mistake. I paid without causing quarrel for preventing conflict with these people within their building. I concluded with going elsewhere, for the precise, and desired design. It should also be known that their customer service is lacking as well. Need I say I will not be returning, nor would I recommend.

This is my very first tattoo but I’m so glad I picked this place to go to for it!! I couldn’t have asked for a better one. It is exactly what I asked for and the detailing is so impeccable!!

I was seen as a walk-in for a piercing. I was in & out of the shop in less than 15 minutes. Knowledgeable professionals that provide a clean, sterile environment. I felt very comfortable allowing them to poke a hole thru my skin. They explained my aftercare & provided a take-home instruction sheet which is super helpful. I cant wait for my next visit

Finally got the courage to get my nose pierced. My son wanted one as well so we made it an outing. I was nervous for absolutely no reason. Ash was quick and all I felt was a pinch. So smooth. FYI dont know if its all services but they only accept cash. They do have 2 ATMs for convenience. Very nice ambience. Would definitely recommend!

My daughter wanted to get her septum pierced and she is 15. Ashleyade the process so easy and explained everything involved with the piercing. Ashley put my daughter at ease and it was over before she knew it. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend!

The ladies there are very rude and also pushovers when it comes to you trying it for the first time. If you want to get a piercing and good advice I advise you not to come my nose ring was uneven .. and when I asked for advice they lied and said they were closing. 2 stars! Never again.

Jimmy and Adrianna did an amazing job with our tattoos today. They were really easy going and friendly. I highly recommend this shop.

I got my initial piercing and my jewelry change here. While they have a cursory knowledge of pricing they do pale in comparison to the other shops in Savannah. If I were to start over with my nose piercing I would AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! They have given me false information about my piercing and its health and what’s best for it multiple times moreover they cause intense pain just for a jewelry change that’s the same gauge. I left bleeding multiple time from jewelry changes and I thought it was normal. It’s not !!! Do not go here unless u want to worst quality piercing and to get manhandled. Yes piercings hurt but they have a disregard for your wellbeing through a lack of knowledge at this establishment.Edit: I went to another piercer at tramp art and learned that the jewelry I received from resurrection was not the correct material and caused a bump in my nose from the healing process. They cut corners on nose jewelry. You can find the same pack on amazon for like 10 bucks and they’ll sell you one for 5$ and it’s not even the right materials. They’ll let you come in with any material jewelry and put it willingly. I’m not even sure they know the correct jewelry material. As others have said the customer service is abysmal. The first time I went I asked so many question so I could know what I was getting into and at some point the piercer just went silent after I asked a question. Tbh I wouldn’t even care about the customer service if they knew what they were doing. But they don’t. My subsequent visits I had complications with my piercing like the bump that was on the inside and the jewelry not fitting correctly causing bleeding and swelling. They had little help for me and incorrectly fitted jewelry. Every jewelry change I bled even after having the piercing for a year and their remedy was to take a couple Tylenol. I had been using the standard gauge piercing which is like 22 and I came in with the smallest gauge I could find and they still used a taper on me and I bled. I had to come into get L piercing (notoriously easy piercing to change) changed because they never had the right size and never told me the jewelry I had didn’t fit. Once I found a longer piercing for my big nose I was able to change out L’s whenever I wanted. They also let me heal with a hoop which is fine because I agreed but not a good practice as I am learning. They were uninterested in making sure my piercing was healthy. I had to go to tramp art for them to tell me all the things that went wrong when I came to resurrection. I got the piercing a year ago and am still having to learn about my piercing this year because the initial piercer at resurrection did not properly educate me on my piercing. If you are going here for a piercing re con si der!

Hit or miss depending on artist… my black heart was done great. But the person who did my cross should practice on fake skin first, red little heart is healing weird.

My two friends were visiting we all decided to get piercings front desk woman was unwelcoming extremely rude to all three of us. My friend and I wanted piercing placements on our ears and the piercer Desiree said she was unable to pierce where we had asked. The conversations we had with her felt condescending and uncomfortable. We proceeded to work with what she said she could do and ended up getting our ears pierced. Desiree had put my piercing in backwards, and offered for me to come back in the next couple days to get it adjusted. Right after my piercing my friend went in and she also put the piercing in backwards. How do you do that a second time? Again, she offered the same for my friend however, she lives out of town and so now she has to go to another piercer to help her with the service Desiree had done. I also had to go to another piercing company to have my piercing fixed this company was unsure why Desiree put the placement where she did after I showed this new company what I had wanted.

The whole experience was phenomenal. I felt welcome and from walking in the door, I knew this was the place for me. Jamie was wonderful and made me feel at home as soon as we started talking, and when it was time to get in the chair he made sure I was comfortable and talked me through his plans. His eye for color and placement is amazing, and his work is nothing less than exceptional. I plan to come back in October and get my mom in to see him.

Got my daith piercing late last night! The two people at the front desk were so nice and helpful (and they answered all of my questions). There was no one ahead of me, so I was pieced and back in my car within about 15 minutes of walking in! Painful, but totally worth it. Overall, very beautiful and tidy little shop! I can’t wait to get the rest of my piercings done here! I hope to get tattoos here too. Thanks, Resurrection! :)

3 stars , I love my piercing , and got exactly what i asked for , but as states in previous reviews, the customer service could be a LOT better and needs work ..My piercer did not make me feel welcome. . She was straight to the point which is OK , but little communication besides asking me if the markings were ok ...the vibe was totally off . After so many customer service reviews ,you would hope to have a better experience. Again love the piercing but I will not return , im all about customer service.

This is my third piecing from them and they have bein the best as always they were sweet and polite and just the best with everything and they accommodated the big party I had aswell as it was fast service

I just got a cover up tattoo byMonster. I had this huge mistake on my arm and after 6 sessions of laser surgery and paying 5,000.00 to remove it at a plastic surgeons office. I ended up with scarring. I decided to seek out a professional and get an opinion. Someone recommended Resurrection ink and I was introduced to Monster. After my consult and viewing her portfolio work, I explained the type of tattoo I wanted. She took the time, a week, to draw out an original tattoo for me by using the picture of my dog I sent her. At first I wasnt sure I liked what she drew but then I explained in more detail what I wanted. And sure enough she made some adjustments and the next day she certainly delivered...literally changing my life. I LOVE MY TATTOO soooooo freaking MUCH!! My pup looks awesome on my arm!!! I definitely recommend her for your next tattoo, ESPECIALLY if you need a cover up tattoo! She is awesome and very reasonably priced!!!

Got my nipple pierced here today. Staff is super cool, skilled and got me and my buddy pierced quickly. Prices are super fair too. Recommend for sure.

I have had 3 piercings done at this shop: navel, nose, and daith. I admire the cleanliness of the shop, the quality of jewelry, and skill of the piercer. However, the customer service has seemed subpar for my last two piercings. The women at the desk were nice, but with my nose and daith piercing, the piercer seemed cold. She did not prepare me on what to expect when it was time to pierce and wasn’t very comforting throughout. Being friendly isn’t required to do a good job, but it would be nice, especially considering i’m a repeat guest. While I appreciate the quality and the work, I don’t know if I can continue supporting a shop who makes me feel invaluable.

If youre looking for a fantastic place to get an awesome tattoo, Resurrection Ink is the place to go. The whole staff is personal, honest, they have integregratity, and theyre very professional. I had originally come to RI for one artist to tattoo my son for his first time, however, he was so honest and had (has) so much integregratity, he told us another artist could execute it better. Although I was a little hesitate at first, he could not have put us in better hands! This artist made us feel right at home and he put my son at ease. Not only did he explain in detail what he was going to do, he told him what to expect after and and how to care for the tattoo, and what could happen if he didnt. It was the best experience possible for my son to receive his first tattoo! (And it was super fun! )I also received a piercing while I was there. I was super nervous, I was put to ease almost as soon as I walked in to her shop... so warm and welcoming! The dermal was quick and virtually painless, definitely the best piercing Ive had hands down!Super clean, very sterial, and super friendly. 5 starts for sure!

I got a septum piercing be Denise (hope I spelt it correct!) and I love it! I had previously had my septum pierced and she was immediately able to see that the OG piercing was way too low and explained where she would put it and why (anatomy). The needle going through was a 6/10 simply because its a needle going through cartilage (I think) not because Denise did a bad job. Her taking it out, putting the jewelry in and screwing the ball in was a 0/10. She also gave me the option between big ball or small ball, but I let her choose (she went with big ball) and it compliments my face and other piercing really well!! Side note: I went in for a Bridge piercing but that wasnt a service she offered and when I asked why she told me its due to the fact that she hadnt done one in a while and didnt want to risk doing a bad job. I thought that was really thoughtful and professional especially since there are a lot of places that will do whatever to make a quick buck.

Very bad customer service and there tattoo jobs are terrible . just saving your money and frustration do not recommend!

I went to get my naval piercing here and had a great experience. They were so welcoming and patient with me. The piercer made sure that I was comfortable the whole time. The prices are great for the piercings as well. If I ever need another piercing or tattoo I will be back!

Worst experience ever for a cross tattoo that i asked for. i do not recommend this place to anyone. i just wanted to get something that meant a lot to me. this is obserd.

Went and got a septum yesterday and when i arrived the receptionist/piercer seemed alright but as soon as i started talking it was like she didn’t want to deal with me. I’ve gotten many piercings done at different shops so i know what steps a piercer should take up to the procedure. This lady did not explain a single thing and gave me no choice for jewelry. Had me sit in a back room and when my mother came to check up on me because she couldn’t find me, she proceeds to yell at her to go back outside. I was polite to her as i am receiving a service from her, but she was cold and rude the entire time. If you want to get a piercing I suggest going to a better establishment with people that look like they love their job.

Highly recommend. Great service. My piercer was Dez, she’s awesome and fast. She explained the marking of the nose procedure and made sure I was happy with them before we proceeded. She’s patient and good at what she does.

Went there to get my nose pierced. Also got industrial in both ears. The employees were nice and professional. Pretty good price for piercings. When I went they were only doing cash so bring some just in case their card reader is down. If you dont they have an atm so its all good.

I will forever be going back to Jamie right here! I am moving out of state next week and will be making the trip back here each time. He is always so enthusiastic about the design and has done two major pieces on my body and I love them. I come in with a very vague idea each time and he knows exactly what to do. He has been tattooing since I was even born and has the most caring customer attitude!! His line work is impeccable and even the room itself is so comfortable and decorated very cool! I can’t wait to save up for my next pace to come back for him to do it😁😁

Id give 0 if i could, going on almost 3 months now and Ive had to have both of the piercings I got done here taken out and redone. Piercer was rude. While I understand some piercers can freehand, she didnt use clamps and severely messed up my nipple piercings. She used curved barbells, which if you dont know are a big no no for healing purposes.They were too short with no room for swelling, and both piercings went through my areola. Please please do your research and watch who you trust to poke holes in your body. I months later and Ive had to have 4 piercings total to get what I wanted. She was aggressive with her actions, and overall felt unwelcoming and made me feel like a bother. And didnt have me stand up to look at them before she was ushering me out of the room. Very unprofessional. If youre looking for a good place start with planet 3 body piercings. Be safe 💕

Came 3 years ago and loved my tattoo, went again tonight and still love them!! Jamie did AMAZING! Fast, decent price, nice, clean, proper Covid precautions. I loved the entire experience. Jamie made up matching tattoos for my sister in law and I, and did perfect. 10/10 will always recommend.

When I first saw the shop, I was a bit nervous because its a hole in the wall. But like most hole in the walls, it was incredible. Mark did an excellent job with my daisy. He was light handed and played fun music. We talked the entire time, which helped me not think about the pain from the tattoo. His shading was beyond incredible. Mark is an extremely talented artist and I will definitely come back when Im in Savannah. My tattoo was only $100 and it surprised me as it was very skilled work. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helped with style and placement. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Go support these lovely folks and get an amazing tattoo.

My bonus daughter and I went in as walk ins. The staff was amazing! Jimmy did a fabulous job on my tattoos! They came out better then I even hoped for! Got a piercing here not too long ago, the piercing itself has been fine no issues. However, the piercer and receptionist were rude and very condescending. Felt unwelcome and like I was bothering them. Overall not the best experience.

I walked in a the young girl at the desk had the worse attitude for no reason and when the manager came she backed her up by saying she might have had an attitude as if that an excuse 😒 and refused services to me. I will not trust people who have attitudes and managers backing up the employees as if its okay to be rude to people

This place Never disappoints, great customer service & my tattoo guy was quick to jump on my tattoo idea & start working on it right away! To top it off, I was a walk up vs a apt! Iv got every tattoo from these guys/gals! They will continue to get my business!

Got 2 of my tattoos covered by Mark. He drew up this sick snake piece and I’m in love with it. Tattoos aren’t ever enjoyable to get but he was extremely gentle and in all one of the BEST tattoo artists I’ve ever come across. It took 4 hours and 30 minutes to get done and it didn’t seem like it because he was so funny and kept me entertained. Affordable for his quality of work. Had a great experience-and definitely recommend him to anyone.

When I called to inquire about piercing info the young lady was so sweet and kind and answered all of my questions. When I arrived to the shop, I was greeted with a smile and again was provided detailed information for the double nose piercings I was requesting. When I met the full time piercer (shouldve gotten her name) she was so kind and her engery was very calm and caring. I had to wait a few mins before being served and during that time I observed the shop as being VERY CLEAN, may I add SUPER CLEAN and I love the decor. The actual piercing....when I entered the room, the young ladys work station was super clean and all of the tool and nose rings were nicely placed on a sterilized table. The piercer patiently measured the markings to ensure they lined up with my previous piercings. The actual piercings hurt like hell😫 the piercer allowed me time to catch my composer and answered questions that I know she previously answer. With all of this being said, I am definitely going back for any future piercings. A++

I went here to get my septum and ear lobes pierced. The piercer explained that I could not get the jewelry I originally wanted due to swelling. After she pierced my septum I didnt like how the jewelry was sitting and she said that it was because I had a wide septum and would need longer jewelry. I disliked it so much that I ended up going to another shop two days later to change the jewelry. The new piercer explained that she had pierced my septum way too high and I would never get the look I wanted with that placement, and that I could be pierced with the jewelry I wanted. So now Ive had to take out the original and get my septum re-pierced correctly. The only reason I could get it pierced again so soon is because the first one was so far from the soft tissue that should have been pierced. I really regret not coming to this new piercer in the first place, I could have saved a lot of time and money.

I had been to Resurrection Ink back when I was 18. When I was ready for more piercings and tattoos, I went back! The shop is very reputable, professional, and friendly. I was introduced to Jamie, and we got along from the beginning. We have so much in common, so it always makes sessions fun! He is very talented, professional, and full of amazing ideas. I will always come back to the shop and see Jamie! First off, the facility is very clean and comfortable. They followed every covid-precaution with flying colors, keeping both their staff and customers safe. Speaking of which, they were very friendly and professional.Today I got my first tattoo and it was a great experience. The receptionist talked with me and within an hour one of their artists, Rob, had completed my tattoo! Afterwards he well-informed me about what to expect. Simple and quick.I highly recommend this shop! Just amazing!

I’m happy with my piercing, and there have been no complications with it- but the experience itself wasn’t great. My piercer was passive aggressive with me, and just made me feel more nervous than I initially was. Didn’t ask me about any placements too, nor let me see where the piercing would go BEFORE doing it. The only person who was nice to me and didn’t make me want to run out of there was the lady at the front desk.

Definitely a different experience than I’m used to. I went for a piercing and the woman doing the piercing was rude, even cutting me off mid-sentence assuming I didn’t know what I was talking about while I was explaining what I wanted. I did, and when she let me finish, she realized that. I’m used to having options for jewelry; this shop is more of a you get the standard and that’s it. Prices are fair and health and safety guidelines were followed.

I got my nose and tragus done by Ashton last month and will be going back for more. everyone was nice and friendly and very clean there also. I will be planning on getting a tattoo from there soon also.

They were amazing here. I went in, told Mark my vision and didnt give him boundaries. I showed up the next day and he created something amazing. His art took 5 hours to make, but I dont regret a single second. He was personable and friendly and we talked the whole time. His hand was perfect and not too heavy. I will be seeing him again. He made this experience perfect, especially how personal this tattoo is. Go see Mark!!!

I was here just yesterday afternoon to get a tongue piercing. The receptionist was nice and professional, and she also happened to be the woman who did my piercing. The procedure was sanitary and quick. I also have been here for my septum piercing a couple months back and the same woman did that procedure, too. Same as the tongue piercing, quick and sanitary. I would recommend this place to any friends or family that is looking for a good place to get a piercing or a tattoo as this place and these people know what they’re doing when it comes to their jobs and they take their sanitation and safety procedures seriously and strive to make sure that their customers have the best service that they can offer.

Went in Saturday and Hanna was able to take me as a walk in. She was very patient and accommodating making changes to get exactly what I wanted. Tattoo turned out great. Starting to think about my next one. Would definitely go back.

Jamie is an amazing freaking artist! Super clean and professional. He and I have a lot in common which makes the sessions that much better! I was recommended to him by a friend, that’s how awesome his work is! He will be only artist I use from here on out!

Went as a walk in to get a cover up. Jimmy did my tattoo and did an awesome job! I am loving it more and more. I will get some more added to it and around it in the near future. But this is a very good place to go to for walk in or even appointments. I also got a piercing done too and was very quick, clean and I’m very happy with it!

I had the most amazing experience. Mark was my tattoo artist. He made sure I was comfortable and my finished piece is beautiful. He did amazing on my typography and I will always make the trip down to savannah just to get my tattoos done by him. He’s also very light handed didn’t hurt at all and prices are super reasonable.

I have been here 3 times in the past two months for piercings they did both sides of my nose AND my septum. They gave me the most PAINLESS experience ever! I NEVER have any issues with healing or anything! Everytime I go back I bring a new person to this business. I’m going for a tattoo today ! I recommend everyone in savannah come to this shop! My husband and I were celebrating our one year anniversary and decided to get tattoos! I’m a big review reader and chose this place on the great things everyone else said! THEY WERE RIGHT! The woman who did my nose piercing was rude and unprofessional. She gave no explanation of how the process was going to work, did not show me what the jewelry was going to look like before she did the piercing, and gave no after care instructions. A warning of how badly it was going to hurt and an explanation of how to care for my new piercing would have been nice. The only reason this gets two stars is because the woman at the front desk was nice and helpful.

Ashton was amazing she took all the time needed to make sure the piercings lined up and were symmetrical. She was really sweet and made me feel very comfortable, bit to mention she has great taste in music. I was in town for work, but she and the others are definitely worth the 3 hour drive there.

We went in and filled out our paperwork and were called back within 5-10 minutes. Ashton was great. She was friendly and made me feel super comfortable with everything. It was done within a minute and I love it! We will definitely be back for more!

Great place. Clean, professional, and friendly service. I did research on different piercing shops and decided to give this place a shot. They were extremely nice and very clean. The lady who pierced me made sure I stayed calm and made sure I wasnt feeling light headed or faint. Absolutely love this place and the piercer there is amazing. All of my piercings have been super quick and healed beautifully. Ashton is great and very friendly. I have been here twice once for my own tattoo and once with my boyfriend for his tattoo. All of the staff were very professional. Both of us had Monster as our artist and we couldnt be happier with her work. She is very professional and personable. She is very easy to talk to and just super great I definitely will be back for more tats by monster in the future!!!!!

I never asked the name of the artist who did my tattoo..tall long blonde hair..he did an amazing job. I see some reviews that say the people are rude...not the case. Most just seem to be quiet and reserved. They are polite and friendly. Most just arent cheerleaders. Very clean environment. Nice guys and girls. Had my nose pierced here also a year ago. Always a nice experience. Will definitely go back.

I went in yesterday to get my very first tattoo, and a nose piercing. Rob listened to what I wanted, worked it up with his own flair, and did the tattoo in less than an hour. It looks great, and I love it!Ashton then took me to her space for the nose piercing- which is what I was the most scared for. She talked me through it as she did it, and within a few seconds it was over, and I had a cute little piercing :)I highly recommend these people to anyone wanting something done- they are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and the shop is super clean and comfortable. They also have separate rooms to do things in, which is great for shy people like me :) Thank you Rob and Ashton for helping out a first timer like myself!!

This is my second time at Resurrection Ink (first time was they pierced my nose) I got my first tattoo. My artist Jimmy did and amazing job. When he just showed me the sketch I was in love 😍. I told him it was my first time getting a tattoo and we talked almost the whole time. It really kept my mind off the pain. Both experiences where lovely. I recommend this place to my friends all the time.

I just got my nipples pierced, and I was in & out in about 10 minutes. The staff was friendly, and the piercing artist (I forgot her name) was great with aftercare advice and answering my questions. She was also very gentle and the piercings didnt hurt nearly as bad as I thought they would. Thank you so much!!!!

Honestly, I gave three for the fact they took walk-ins and got me in. Like a review before said they only have ONE kind of jewelry for your helix and I’m not sure what other ones on the ear but it was WAYYY too long and kept getting caught on everything . I get they are longer for swelling but they really need a shorter one or maybe a hoop like I had before. If you want options for jewelry or a fun experience unfortunately this is not the place. You get what you pay for. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ive had several experiences with Ashton at Resurrection inc. Shes the best piercer Ive ever had. Shes so experienced & does it so quickly that you hardly have time to feel any pain before shes done. Her honesty about piercings that will & wont work lets me know that I can trust her opinion. This is the place to come for all your piercing needs. Ps. I drive an hour to come here & its worth every mile!

The only thing that I liked about this place was the customer service. However, I wanted a tribal armband tattoo and it came out horrible. It was my fault because I should’ve asked to see his portfolio, but if he knew he didn’t know how to do a Polynesian tattoo design then he should have said so. He also gave me the design upside down from the original idea that I gave him. The blending into the skin is also horrible. The owner was very courteous when I called him for a refund. Unfortunately, he just said come in when it heals so that he can fix it. I never made my way back. It was very upsetting that I paid $250.00 for this “professional” tattoo.

I have had 2 tattoos and spider bites done at Resurrection Ink over the years and have had nothing but excellent experiences but today, I stopped in because I was worried a piercing that I got at another place (not in savannah) was infected! I caught Ashton outside and she checked it out, told me that it was fine and the solution was drying my ear! She was knowledgeable about the piercing and offered great direction on how to clear up the dryness. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Such a great experience. Had to wait a bit because they were slammed but I would do it again in a heart beat. I’m so happy with my tattoo. Went here for my 18th birthday/first tattoo and I’m in love with it. The tattoo artist and the other workers were so friendly and the shop was very very clean and organized.

I got 3 ear piercings here the other day and it was a great experience. The girl I had was very nice and she walked me through everything and made me feel very comfortable.

Ive gotten two different piercings here and they are amazing! I was scared both times and my piercer made me feel comfortable and she answered all of my questions clearly and even the silly nervous questions. And the work spaces are awesome! Not thrilled with the tattoo I got here. I got a very small tattoo on the back of my neck. At first I thought it looked fine, so I thanked my artist and left with a smile on my face. However because of the location of the tattoo I didnt actually get a great look at it when I was in the shop. When I got home, I got a better look and discovered its really unfortunate craftsmanship.The outline is really scraggly and uneven, and the detail on the inside is scraggly as well and not colored in all the way. Granted, I came in as a walk in and didnt give my artist much time to plan, which could have contributed to the issue. However, I didnt think that would matter since they take walk-ins regularly and its a very simple tattoo. The customer service wasnt 100% either. This isnt my first tattoo, but he didnt know that (since none of my others are visible) and he didnt really give me any after-care instructions like all my other artists have. Im just glad I know from past experience how to care for a new tattoo. Last, he seemed a little annoyed/bored with the fact that I wanted a small and simple piece. I know the big extravagant tattoos that allow room for creativity are more fun for the artists, but this piece was in memory of my grandfather and his service during WWII and it really meant a lot to me. The artist taking a little more pride in his work during my visit would have meant a lot to me too.

Everyone was super cool and extremely nice. The girl at the counter was really nice and very helpful. And the girl that pierced mine and my wifes noses was very professional and great at her craft. I will definitely be back for more piercings

The lady that does piercings at this establishment is very unprofessional. I went to her for a nose piercing three months ago and without any warning she stuck the needle in my nose before I could get comfortable and then tells me to be still so she can do her job. If anybody is looking to get a piercing please dont go here.

I didnt go but on Instagram they answer you pretty quickly, I will say not to get piercings on Tuesdays and Thursdays I think they said, but the piercing prices are on the website and tattoos are by size I believe. It seemed pretty interesting but I dont see many reviews by POC ..... Which is a bummer... Otherwise theyre really nice and they answer all your questions if you need them answered 💕

I got my ears pierced for the first time here, and the process was very quick and easy yet informative and thorough. The piercings themselves were well done and didnt hurt at all after the initial poke. They also had the cheapest prices I could find in Savannah (for professional piercing, of course - I wanted them done with a needle, not a gun).

Went to Mark last night and got a memorial piece for my mother-in-law...nothing but awesomeness from and the staff... Mark listened to every little detail I wanted for the piece and I let him take total control of the work!!! Its absolutely by far the best tattoo I have! The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in, we talked , laughed , the other artists for also amazing...Mr. Dave has a bad ass crew and his shop is hands down the best! We are proud to wear his art on our skin and look forward to larger pieces very soon. For the quality of work done here, the prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. We would have gladly paid much more for our art work then what they charged. I HIGHLY recommend them for fantastic tattoo work.

Rob was the artist who took care of my mother and myself. Did a fantastic job on both. Being a diabetic I was slightly apprehensive about getting one but the owner (also diabetic) gave me the reassurance I needed to finish making up my mind. So friendly, knowledgeable staff, talented artists and clean environment! Will be back for more!

These people are amazing. I lost my 6 month old baby tragically, and they were so sweet and understanding. It was the first tattoo I got and its perfect and beautiful. Any bad reviews on this place are petty. Please come here for any tattoos you want. I will be back as often as possible

I went here for my first tattoo and everyone I talked to was great and Mark did my tattoo exactly how I imagined it. I was comfortable the whole time and I just went back and brought my sisters and we all got matching tattoos and we are all happy and everyone loved their artists. We had Dooz Ward and Rob this time and I won’t ever go to another tattooplace as long as I live in the Savannah area.

I have to say I am very, very impressed with this tattoo/piercing studio, Resurrection Ink. I recently, one month ago, got my first two tattoos am I am extremely happy with them both! The atmosphere at the studio was very friendly and relaxed and I was able to speak with everyone with ease. And being that these were my first tattoos I was explained the healing process, proper care, and maintenance to follow which made things a lot easier and gave me a better understanding. Came in for a bridge piercing and it turned out beyond perfect!! it couldn’t be straighter, and the jewelry and placing fits me absolutely perfectly. not sure who pierced me, but she was a pretty blonde woman and did such an excellent job with me. 5 stars!

I came here to get my belly button pierced about a year ago and I am in love. I was afraid of it becoming infected but it never did and healed perfectly! They give great after care tips and went above my expectations. I would recommend to anyone looking for real professionals.

My fiancé & I came into this establishment fully anticipating that he would walk out with a new tattoo. We came in about 40 minutes before closing, (plenty of time to do a small & pretty simple tattoo) & the energy when we walked in was completely off, as if they wanted us to turn back around & walk straight out. My fiancé showed one of the artists a couple of tattoos & without really looking at the picture the artist just responded with “no.” & the workers continuously repeated how they closed at 9 o’clock. Granted, we understood it may be irritating to get someone in a shop soon before closing, but considering that we were paying costumers, the way he was treated was inappropriate. & due to the other reviews I’ve read it seems like attitude & positive costumer treatment is something that this place lacks.

I got a septum piercing from this place. I love it so far and the price was really good. The only thing is they only take cash tho and they have an ATM.

I absolutely love my tattoo, I wanted to go back to the same artist and get a matching moon, (I got a sun) and when I called they said they didn’t have anyone by the name of my artist. So I tried to describe her and they said they never had a female artist there (Angel). So i don’t know who did my tattoo but I’d love to find out where she works so she can continue to do my other tattoos 😭

Went to get a piercing and the lady who does the piercing is so rude . The two guys are so polite and attentive to their customers, while as for her , she act as if she doing you are favor.. when in reality we are paying customers. I will not recommend anyone going to her. She is probably good at what she does ( which I wouldnt know because she refuse to do my piercing) but she have poor customer service skills .. I will go else where with my money which Im sure she dont care but I will let everyone know how rude she is

My friend and I went into the shop to get some simple tattoos. One being a lightening bolt, the other being the outline of a cowboy hat, and the last one being the “God is greater than the ups and downs” Symbol. All 3 tattoos looked like they were done with no care or thought put into them. They had crooked and curved lines. Some lines were uneven and were just all around not complete tattoos that I don’t think anyone would be proud to show off. The artist also did not speak to either of us unless he was telling us wear to sit or asking about placement. He was not very personable and did not seem to be happy to be working there.

I have been wanting a new tattoo for years, but have been very hesitant about quality. That changed today when I met Rob. Not only did he take my base idea to perfection, but his artistic skills added a flare that I could not have begun to verbally express. I will be going back to get a full sleeve. There is no one else in the Savannah area that I would trust for ink. If youre looking for someone who knows what theyre doing, you found him.

The piercer was rude and acted annoyed when I asked questions. My piercing was uneven and pierced too deep into my skin. My friend went here and her piercing became embedded and infected! I DON’T RECOMMEND!

In and out in about 20 minutes from filling out the form to walking out the door. Had a new piercing done and a redo. Id say pain free but that minor pinch was still there lol. Would definitely recommend. Now to wait on my friends tattoo to see how that turns out.

Every piece Ive seen created by Mark Simmons has been beautiful. Whether simple or extremely detailed...Several family members and friends have been his canvas. Straight full lines, great shading, coloring, fading and black tats with no color, very artistic in his taking your verbal description of your wants and putting on paper then to skin. VERY impressed! His clients sing his praises. Great talent put to wonderful use. God Bless!

Jimmy was polite and professional. He asked me if I needed to use the bathroom before we started and even had music. He answered all of my questions and gave me realistic answers rather then just telling me what I wanted to hear. I asked for a last minute change to a design, and he did it in just a few seconds. Will definitely be going back to him!

Ive had 2 tattoos done by Resurrection in the last few years. Theyre 2 of my smallest, simplest tattoos. The first time I went in they were pretty rude. Not enthusiastic at all about their jobs. The tattoo was ok. Nothing great, granted it was small so their wasnt much room for grandness or anything. I chalked it up to a fluke, maybe the guy was having a bad day. So I gave the shop the benefit of the doubt and went back to try a different artist. This time it was a female, same experience though. Rude, really seemed like she didnt want to be there. I wasnt gonna write a review, I was just personally never gonna visit the shop again. But a friend of mine just told me that she had a similar experience at Resurrection, and as I sit here staring at my crappy tattoo, planning a cover up for it, I thought I should share my thoughts on this place. Im sure lots of people have walked out with awesome tattoos, but it seems Resurrection has a problem with consistency. Which, imo, is very important in a tattoo business. You dont wanna be the one to walk in when theyre having an off day. Theres just way better shops in Savannah. Shops that take pride in their work and treat clients with more respect. Everyday, not just sometimes. Like I said, Im sure some people have gotten great tattoos here, I just thought Id share my personal experience, which was definitely subpar.

Was uncomfortable the moment I walked in. I shouldve went with my better judgement because I just had to have a piercing checked on by another shop because the barbell was much too small and very uncomfortable. The lady who replaced my pericings at the other shop told me that the first piercings I had put in (by this shop) were not even made for where they were placed because of the size and shape. Luckily I got to it early but for someone who doesnt know anything about piercings it couldve been a disaster. I highly recommend against going with this shop, very unprofessional.

They accommodated our 5 party bachelorette group, no problem. They were practicing social distancing which was much appreciated during a pandemic. All of us were super pleased with our tattoos/piercings.

This was my first tattoo, I didnt know anything about the process. I went to almost every tattoo shop in downtown Savannah and for various reasons I kept looking around. I finally found Resurrection, and they are straight forward about the everything, willing to work within me as a walk-in to be artistic and find the right design. With my busy schedule, finding two extra hours of free time is random, but they have never turned me away when I call and ak tip be seen same day.

I got my nose pierced and I second guessed the placement of it so I ended up not liking it. I went back in to see if they could redo it for me and they did with no problem. I had a girl piercer and she was very nice along with her boss. I highly recommend going there.

The care the staff took in light of the COVID 19 situation was exceptional. Jimmy was very apologetic about the extended wait time. Monster did an awesome job on my very special tattoo. Thank you so much! See you next time!

I came to Resurrection ink today (09/03/2021) with a minor (13 years old), unaware of the regulation of no minors under the age of 18 are allowed in there. I got denied and turned around before I can even make it through the door. However, as I’m sitting in my vehicle in the parking lot of resurrection Inc, not even two minutes later I see a lady walk in with a minor (a toddler) who does not get turned around or denied. If the regulation is that you’re not supposed to have anyone here under the age of 18 in the shop, the regulation should apply to EVERYONE, including employees. NO EXCUSES! Very poor customer service from Ashton (the “experienced” piercer).

Okay, so first. The staff is very helpful and they are able to tell you if that peircing is viable for that part of your body and will tell you all the little things you would need to know. They have several artists there and when you walk in check out the book with mermaid scales. Her work is beautiful and I had a moth done by her.

My wife and I loved our experience here! From the phone call to the cash register, these artists were extremely proffesional and kind! Our artist, Dooz, was very helpful. He took the time to find out what we really wanted, where we wanted it, as well as explaining his prespective on how some of our color choices were going to respond over time. Within 20 minutes, we were getting stencils applied! It felt like we had been welcomed into his home...he shared stories about himself, pictures of some of his friends, all the while taking time to listen to our stories! Loved our tattoos by him, but loved the hospitality of this shop more!! Would highly recommend this shop to others, and WILL be returnig for more!

I worked with Ward. He was awesome. Came in as a walk-in but will definitely return for a touch up on my tatto I had done years ago. Wade was very friendly as well as the other tattoo artists atResurrection Ink.

I got my cartilage pierced there and getting it pierced was fine and they didnt mess it up, but the jewelry that they put in was way too short and something you would put in after youve already healed. My whole upper ear was swollen as usual when you get something pierced but since the stud that they put in was too short, it was squeezing and putting pressure on the swollen part of my ear and causing my tremendous pain. I went to another piercer that I trust to switch it out with a barbell and he had a lot of trouble getting the stud out because i was in so much pain and it was so close to my skin. I could barely clean it cause it wouldnt turn. Now that I have a different piece of jewelry in it, its a lot better. I would probably go back to this place to get a piercing but bring my own piece of sanitized jewelry.

Resurrection Ink is the best place in the SOUTH for tattoos and piercings. Ashton (the piercer) is the most understanding, patient, and knowledgeable piercer on the market. I have terrible needle anxiety (and yes I have upwards of 20 piercings) and I would NEVER trust anyone else to pierce me. Dave (the owner) is so helpful and literally cares about everyone that walks through his doors. I came here for my first tattoo, and I really like how the tattoo turned out. However the artist was rude and seemed annoyed that I was asking questions (which I feel like is normal for people getting a tattoo that will be on their body for the rest of their life). I thought I was just being a wimp, but after reading other reviews other people also mention the customer service issues. If you are young and getting your first tattoo, I recommend somewhere else.

Doesnt matter how skillful you may be at your craft if your professionalism towards your clients is nonexistent.. very RUDE I would not recommend coming here if you believe in being treated kindly and respectfully. I was very uncomfortable from the time I walked in the door when I was aggressively eyeballed by the receptionist as she typed away on her phone instead of the slightest greeting. Dooz did an amazing job on fixing some existing tattoos I had. Everyone was nice and made the experience a great one. I would recommend Resurrection Ink to anyone looking for quality work! I will definitely be returning!!!

The customer service is very poor. The piercers (2 ladies) do not know what they are doing! The have very little knowledge of how to properly do piercings. I had to remove mine and have it done over by “PLANET 3”. Im warning you please dont let them pierce you. You will have a better chance letting a blind person do it

Wards tattoos are amazing! I got one done by him a few years ago after my 19th birthday! But when I got my tattoo done by him.....he worked at a different tattoo shop at the time though! Havent been able to see him for my next tattoo but I hope too sometime in the future!

At first I was told there wasn’t anyone available to tattoo; however, after waiting for my friend to get a piercing, I was told there actually was someone available to do tattoos. Very clean and great quality! Customer service could be improved.

I got a surface piercing here. The piercer wasnt very informative about the piercing, she didnt talk about anything like what shes using or anything for that matter. Nor did i get the option to pick my jewelry. With that being said, I went to a different piercing shop to get my jewelry changed and they gave me a whole lesson on how my piercing is messed up because the piercer at resurrection ink used the wrong type of jewelry for this piercing. I actually tried to talk to her about it and she got defensive and said that i was wrong. you can look up everywhere that you should not use a curved barbell for a surface piercing.. they in fact, have this thing called surface bars. I understand that everyone should do their research for their own piercings, but as a professional you should know whats right and whats not and morally, if you think something is wrong then SAY SO or dont do it at all. And the piercer was absolutely rude when i tried talking to her. With that being said, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND PLANET 3. Everyone there is nice, informative and you pick your own jewelry.

I just got a cover up tattoo done by Phil. The work he done was very good, Im extremely happy with the work he has done. My wife & myself will come back to get more ink done. Everyone there has a good sense of humor, the prices are good. Thanks Phil we will be back!!!

I finally had time to go get my semicolon tattoo done! There is a deep meaning and story behind this. They took me right in. Rob did mine and was extremely professional and awesome! I will definitely be back! Thank y’all so much, now I can tell my story!

Great service and comfortable.Came back on January 14th, 2021 and I went back for a tattoo this time. I let John do my tat and I was nervous at first not going to lie, but at the end overall Im excited about my tattoo and will be back for my sleeve. Thank you John 😊.

I went to get my helix/cartilage pierced for the first time and it was great! I was pretty nervous at first cause it was my first time getting a piercing done on my own but they were so nice and answered all my questions very professional and very clean as well

I mean we had one conversation and next thing you know he was wiping my tattoo down and he was done. His technique is so smooth that the pain and swelling was minimal, and the tattoo healed in no time... Your search is over, this is the spot and Dooze is the man you need to get your tattoos done!

I’ve come here 3 times this year for piercings. The piercer was rude and impatient when I kept asking about getting a belly piercing and not so comforting at all but everything in the room was clean and organized.

Always awesome customer service and work. I am always satisfied with my tattoo and the experience Ive had. The artists are great and work with you on a design. They do amazing tattoos for decent prices.

Mark Simmons was absolutely amazing. Walked in and showed him what I wanted and he did a great job. He was very nice and made me feel completely comfortable, I will definitely be getting more from him!

Rob did a tattoo on my back, it looks amazing!! He covered an old tattoo from years ago. He is truly amazing and he takes so much pride in his work. Ill will definitely come back and see him again.

Just showed up here with my niece and nephews. As soon as we walked in we were told very rudely, noChildren allowed! Only one person as a time, go wait outside!. I get it, you have rules, but learn how to talk to people.They also had the rudest most condescending sign about masks. It was so unprofessional, it looked like it was written poorly by a teenage girl on her period.We are visiting from California and we’re not used to people being as*holes.Don’t go here!

Hmmm... I wish there was something less than one star to rate this. They were very rude and did not seem very interested at all to be in their line of work. Their skills are mediocre at best. I asked the artist was the semi colon going to look better than the stencil did. He then arrogantly responded Sweetheart, I been doing this for ten years. I know what a semi colon looks like. Well here we are, two weeks later, and my semi colon does NOT look like a semi colon. Moral of the story, do NOT go to this shop.

Loved this place. They take walk-ins which was great for my group to just come on in. I presented my idea and my artist (s/o to Rob!) and he took it and made it awesome. The lines are crisp and his music was awesome. 😂 Def check them out. 😍💉🌻

Stay away!!!! Got a simple tattoo by Weezy (4 hearts). Once I got home the tattoo was not centered and one of my hearts was crooked. Very DISAPPOINTED! Wish I could erase this mess but unfortunately I cant.Will never recommend this place and definitely not the artist.

Very very pleased. I will only be going here for all future work! They were all soooo nice and are affordable! Sometimes they are busy with a walk in but you’re able to make an appointment. We lucked out and they were available for us that evening. I’ve been telling everyone to go to Resurrection ink!!

Yesterday Ward Bassett did an awesome job on a very special personal tattoo.In the past hes reworked a botched tattoo and has also did a big pink bow on my right should and just free handed it on my arm no stencil, its amazing.I wont ever have anyone else do any future tattoos I get.

Mark was AMAZINGGGG my bf went in with a name on his arm and left with an amazing cover up Of a Philadelphia Eagles head. He is cool as heck and was able to level with us on what he can and cant do! But he rocked it out and had a great personality!!!

Got a Tongue Piercing by Ashley .. she was very impatient & not tolerable. Very stand off ish did not seem to be a people person . The shop was clean but the experience was weird & not friendly . 0/10

I went to get my nose pierced and the girl that did it was rude she had an attitude. This was the 2nd time Ive had my nose pierced and it hurt wayyy worse so I asked her why and she said scar tissue which probably did have something to do with it but I got it pierced again yesterday cause the other fell out and i looked at the difference in this ring now and the old one and it was huge and u couldnt even see the crystal in it. Now I know thats y it hurt so much cause the ring was sooooo thick. I couldnt believe that was in my nose. I understand it has to be a somewhat big the first time but this was hugeee! And now comparing the 2 rings I couldnt believe what I was seeing. Will not go back here or recommend it. And they look at u like your stupid if u have questions about your piercing just cause I had it pierced before what do they expect this one was wayyy different and now i know y.
