Savannah Ink Tattoo

Visited Savanah Ink Tattoo today to get a tattoo. Place was very clean and staff were very friendly. Frankie was my tattoo artist. She made me feel comfortable during the whole process, was able to design the tattoo I envisioned and was reasonably price. Final tattoo was of high quality and I am very pleased with how it turned out. I would highly recommend giving Savanah Ink a look at if you are interested in getting a tattoo.

Been going to Savannah Ink for a while now and Peter is amazing! Ive had all my tattoos done by him since my first with Peter, and my roommates have gotten all of theirs with him too. His linework is amazing and hes also incredibly easy to talk to and set up appointments with. The new studio is great as well. I cant recommend Peter and Savannah Ink enough!

I truly cant say enough great things about Peter and Savannah Ink Tattoo as a whole! My husband and I had been thinking about getting tattoos for a little over a year, going back and forth with what each of us wanted. Peter listened to what we wanted and designed each of our tattoos from our original ideas. Both of our tattoos turned out more unique and better than we ever anticipated!For both, my husband and I, this was our first tattoo and Peter was very attentive to our concerns, anxiety, etc. having never gone through the process before. The whole space is very clean and makes you feel very welcome from the second you walk in. At first I was nervous, but Peters welcoming and warm disposition instantly put myself at ease. He truly is a people person and will make you comfortable from start to finish.Again, I truly cant say enough great things about Peter -- he made the whole process enjoyable and unique, all while maintaining the utmost professionalism. You can tell Peter truly is an artist that loves bringing peoples ideas to reality and giving them beautiful works of art on their skin.I never thought getting a tattoo would be FUN, but Peter is downright great & the whole process was awesome!! I would never imagine going to another artist after my experience with Savannah Ink Tattoo - my husband and I will be customers for life!!

I cant say enough about Frankie at Savannah Ink Tattoo. She was so kind and patient for my first tattoo. Frankie listens to you, and designs your art to your specifications. She is so talented. This being said you may have to get in line for your new body art, but it is so worth it.

Schuyler did my tattoo today and was great. Shop is clean, artists are welcoming, and prices are fair. I made an appointment for myself and 3 friends. Schuyler and Taylor did great jobs and were patient with us all. Highly reccomend this place. Ill be back next time Im in town!

I cant say enough about the quality and professionalism of Kenny Ward. Kenny was able to accommodate myself and two other friends requests without hesitation. 3 different styles and he nailed them all. He had an amazing positive attitude and made us all feel totally comfortable. Ill be traveling back for more ink from Kenny for sure.Savannah Ink was very clean, comfortable and welcoming.

I took my friend to get her first tattoo. she is Asian and not real good with the language. they treated her great and took their time with her . Jordan Mays was awesome and patient. he did a great job. even using Google translate to explain the procedure to her. much respect for Jordan and this establishment. she says she will return, she felt comfortable and relaxed.

Peter is a great artist and really professional. We told him our ideas for the design and he made them even better in paper. His studio is very clean and organized. Everyone in the place was very polite. We moved to Charleston, but we will definitely make the driving back to Savannah just to get our next tattoos done by him!!

Peter did 2 awesome tattoos for my wife and me. We got tattoos from him many years ago and looked him up for our newest ideas. Thanks Peter! Definitely ask for him.

I scheduled an appointment here for my first ever tattoo! My initial idea was a larger moth on my arm, but I got sunburnt and changed it when I arrived in the shop. Peter was very understanding and helped me adjust my price! It was such a comfortable and clean environment with great music. My dad and little sister sat in the room with me and had a conversation about music with Peter. He executed my idea skillfully and professionally, and the results came out fantastic! Very friendly and cool dude. I definitely want to come back!

I emailed asking for my husband and I to get simple tattoos on our trip. Peter responded immediately and got us in the following day. We came in with more complex ideas and he nicely accommodated us.Not only was he incredibly good with fine line but the prices for the tattoos was very fair, if not more reasonable than we expected.We will be getting more work done with Peter on our next trip.Danke Peter!!

Absolutely amazing work by Bryce! He was super professional and friendly, and I love his work! The better picture is right after he was finished and the other picture is now that its fully healed. The whole shop seemed very professional and nice, the receptionist was very helpful when I called to figure out appointments for me and my mom, overall a great experience, definitely planning on coming back!

Went in for my first tattoo ever and had such a great experience! I was suggested Savannah Ink and Peter specifically through two coworkers that have had pieces by him. I was able to mostly zen out during my tattoo even if I was super nervous about the process. Very gentle hands, eye for detail, and efficient work. Great price for the quality! Bryce was an amazing person and artist through out the process. Although i was picky about certain things, he worked with me and i loved it in the end. Pricing was great, and the studio was nice and clean. Highly recommend this place and going to Bryce.

I wanted my sons feet on my arm, my arrest Kenny told me he couldn’t make it exact but he could get me the shape and feel. I walked out of the place looking at my arm knowing it was good work. It wasn’t until I made it home that I realized how good it was. I pulled out my sons little foot prints and it was as close like holding 2 of the same pictures only 1 was a tattoo and bigger. He worked with me with the positioning of the tattoo so it wasn’t hanging to far off one side of my arm and it was over all a great experience. First tattoo or last ide recommend!

The store itself is extremely clean, all the artists are very professional and cooperative. I got my tattoo done by Peter, who did an amazing job. The color is as bright and vivid as the day I got it (about a month ago) and it healed up great. Couldnt have asked for the tattoo to turn out any better. Amazing experience. No where else was taking walk ins. Called and the owner Peter said to come right in and he would draw something up. He was easy to work with and collaborated with me to draw up EXACTLY what I wanted. Both me and my wife got what we wanted drawn up and he got to work. Amazing talent, he really knows what he is doing. Place was very clean and tidy and it was a joy to deal with Peter. Also music was great lol. My husband and I are on our honeymoon in Savannah, we were looking to get some new ink and the B&B recommended Savannah Ink Tattoo. I could not be happier with the piece I had done. The owner Peter was willing to do some of his own original artwork on me and even gifted us the painting afterwards! These guys are fantastic!! My husband and I had a great time getting tattoos from Ben over the weekend. He is a great guy and the shop was very clean with a good, friendly atmosphere. I am in Savannah yearly and decided to get my first tattoo this year. After researching the shops there, I was convinced Peter was the one to go to. And I was right. I gave him my idea, he sketched it up on the spot, and it was perfect! Peter, and the studio was very professional and clean. He does FANTASTIC work, and will be a part of my yearly trip for sure, Ill be hard pressed to let anyone else do future designs :)

Peter has surpassed my expectations on both my tattoos. I chose Savannah Ink after researching artists in the area. I do not live in Savannah but chose them based on the quality of their work and Im glad I did! I get complimented regularly on my 3/4 sleeve and Im always asked who did the work. Peter is great! I went to Peter last week (9/26/13). I needed a cover-up on a tattoo mistake that was done over 10 years ago and he made it happen! I love my new tattoo. Peter made it very beautiful. He sketched it on the day of my appointment, directly on my arm, and then he did his thing. The outcome is fantastic! I am sooooo happy with my choice in trusting Peter with my tattoo. His shop is very clean and professional. I plan on going back to let Peter do another tattoo for me in a couple of months.

Me and my best went to Savannah for a girls getaway. We decided to get a tatoo while we were down there. I contacted Peter, sent him an email showing him what we wanted. He did an excellent job. I will definitely go back again. I have had so many compliments on it.

Best experience. Down for a day trip and decided we wanted a permanent souviner. We went to three before we found this amazing place. Took us right in and had all three tattoos done in an hour. My tattoo experience at Savannah Ink was Epic !! I did my homework and worked with the very talented artist, Ben Kelly ! I came to him with four older tattoos on my right arm that I wanted covered. We discussed design ideas and settled on a theme by the great fantasy artist, Frank Frazetta. To make a long story short...Ben knocked it out of the park !! He is a very personable guy. Very flexible and easy to work with. The shop is super clean. Peter Faehnrich and Shuyler are very talented artists and super personable as well. The whole shop dynamic is the best Ive ever experienced. Bottom line...I ended up with a one of a kind sleeve that I am so very proud to wear !! Do yourself a favor and go to these guys for your next tattoo ! You WILL NOT be disappointed !! Thank you guys for an amazing tattoo adventure ! Ben...you are awesome at your craft !!

Great experience overall! We were able to walk in at the begining of the day and meet with an artist right away, he mocked up our simple design and had us both done in a couple of hours! Our artist Jordan was so friendly and knowledgeable, as well as talented. Would 100% recommend.

Walked in and was immediately greeted by one of the artists. Took a look through their portfolios and decided that Ben Kelly would be the best one for the tattoo I wanted. Ben was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. He was able to fit me in to his already busy schedule and i was able to get it done 5 days later. I came in for the appt and Ben showed me what he drew up. His drawing was on the spot, but required a few alterations to be exactly what I wanted. Ben worked with me every step of the way and we compromised on the final draw-up. 3 hours later, I had a sick tattoo which completely blew me away- it was everything I wanted and more. Ben did an absolutely amazing job, and you could tell that he puts his heart and soul into his work. I strongly recommend this tattoo shop as well as Ben Kelly for any tattoo you have in mind.

Taylor tattooed the perfect little sun on my arm and I love it. Showed him two designs and he combined them perfectly, with a perfect circle and clean straight lines. He was so personable and the shop was clean. If I’m ever in the need for a new tattoo and I’m in the area I will definitely visit again.

Just came in for a quick finger tattoo on both hands. On vacation and decided to pop in with my girlfriend. Taylor did an exceptional job and was a super cool dude who gave us plenty of suggestions around the area. Peter also came in to help us out with bar ideas and spots to go in the area. Cant say enough about how cool this place was. I had emailed back and forth with Ben trying to give him enough info to do a design and figure out a time I could come in. We set a date and when I showed up he was putting the finishing touches on my design. Let me just say that both the design and his work exceeded my expectations by far. Real cool, down to earth kind of guy who was welcoming to everyone who came into the shop. I was especially impressed with this since they dont have a receptionist so it falls on the artists to interact with the customers and this didnt detract from Bens work or make me feel ignored. Overall a great experience, a great tattoo, and I just wish I was closer so when I get more work done I could come back.

I have had 6 tattoos from Taylor Elliot and I love all of them. He is an incredible artist and a credit to Savannah Ink and tattoo artists everywhere. My wife and I love this guy like family. Artist Ben Kelly did an amazing job on my tattoo. The shop was clean, everyone was professional and nice! I wanted a scar covered on my kneecap and Ben helped me pick a design that would work, and I couldnt be happier with the result. I will definitely go there for any future tattoos.

Peter did two tattoos for my brother and I. I arrived early with my idea and he redrew and customized it for me. Then my brother and I both got a matching tattoo which my brother designed. Peter has been doing it a long time and hes killing it hes someone whos been doing it for so long yet he still loves every minute of what he does and you can see it while he works professional, kind, and unlike many other shops he feels personal he genuinely was interested in the work and took the initiative we didnt even question him we trusted him and loved the finished product. He took the idea we gave him and turned it into something we didnt even know we wanted.

Got a small tattoo of a skull with gold teeth here before Covid started. Absolutely love it. Very clean, professional environment. My tattoo artist (I cant recall his name) was very funny and made me feel comfortable!

My husband and I had tattoos done here by Ben Kelly in October 2014. They are perfect! The shop was spotless, the prices are reasonable, and the artists are all amazing. Would definitely recommend them!

I came in as a walk, I asked for a very simple OUTLINE of a beamed music note the size of a quarter. I did not want it filled in. I showed him a picture of what i wanted and explained it very well. he put the sketch on my skin asked if thats what i wanted I said yes and he proceeded with the tattoo, then filling it in! I stopped him and asked are you filling that in? he said yes? I responded with well theres no going back now i was very disappointed, he did not even apologize. A few days later when it was healed I noticed that it was not straight and the balls of the notes are not even the same size. I am giving this three stars because I dont believe this is the shops fault I think I got someone who didnt really care. Just a warning for whoever is getting a tattoo out there, you cannot explain what you want too much. Looking to get this fixed elsewhere.

I just got my first tattoo and the experience at Savannah Ink was awesome!! Peter did excellent work!!! I WILL be back.

Schuyler hooked me up today. Said hed charge $120 an hour to fixed a previous tat I had gotten elsewhere. All said and done with, it took over 3hrs an he charged only $250 and damn good work. If I lived here this would be the only place Id go.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Kenny be our artist and he was amazing! We will def be back!

I wanted to wait a while to give this review but I took my girlfriend here 2 weeks ago to get her first tattoo as a birthday present and I must say I was impressed with there service.I came in the day before and met Jordan who immediately welcomed me and got all the information of the tattoo she wanted.He was very friendly and was passionate about it.And best of all, I was able to set an appointment with him the following day.When we got her tattoo, he wanted to make sure it was done the way she wanted it and looked the way she wanted it.He took his time during the process and put great detail into it and it came out amazing and all for a good price.Will be coming here again shortly for more work from Jordan.

This place is absolutely fantastic it lives up to its Sterling reputation... spoke with the owner and had tattoo work done by Jordan, if youre looking for a very very clean place with a very knowledgeable staff this is a must stop for you... my wife is the one that actually received the tattoo she cannot stand pain and Jordan was fantastic very very high quality tattoo exceeded my expectations which were very high... if youre looking for a tattoo not just in the savannah area anywhere this place is well worth the drive...
