Comfortable and clean spot! DJ did my first larger tattoo today. Thorough in my stencil/drawing and all my requests and tweaks to change it or placement. He was very thoughtful throughout the process making sure I had ate, bathroom breaks and checking on my comfortability throughout☺️. Would highly recommend him and this tattoo shop!!

Duane took the time to understand exactly what myself and wife wanted and offered valuable insights to enhance the design. Dj was great. I had a walk in haven’t had a tattoo in a while and he was very professional and great to talk to. The design is perfect he really knew how to bring the best out of something relatively simple.

Darkwater Artists always do a phenomenal job! I’ve gotten 3/4 piercings here and recently got a tattoo from Ann that turned out incredibly gorgeous! Every experience has been pleasant and easy going, definitely a secure spot!

The artist DJ was very friendly and cool, it was my first tattoo and he was super informative and helpful with maintenance and after-care. The art was awesome and I’m super happy with the overall experience. Love the aesthetic of the store too. Very comfortable. I look forward to coming back for more ink!

First, when I walked in the piercing kid behind the counter was sleeping. He awoke and said, I wasnt sleeping as he stood up from a laying back position in his chair.Secondly, I wanted my Monroe pierced and while he was piercing he let out a big sigh and said he was having some trouble with the tube. It was the longest piercing I have ever recieved and I told him that.Lastly, the post that was put into my face was so short it was sinking into my skin and had no room for swelling to occur.Since the shop wont be open for 2 more days, I removed said piercing. I followed all aftercare instructions and had even given a 10$ tip. I was advised not to go here but wanted to support local business.Very disappointed 😥

First time going to get a piercing done at an actual place and decided to get my septum everyone there was so nice and the guy who did my septum was very nice and good at walking me through everything and made me feel comfortable. It was a very enjoyable experience

Went in with my sister in-law when she got her tattoo. DJ did an amazing job, it turned out beautiful!! DJ was very professional and organized. I will be scheduling my next tattoo with him in the near future. Shop was clean and very comfortable. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming.

I’ve come to get my last two tattoos here. McKayla did both and she’s so light handed and calm but pretty quick and they always turn out great, the vibe there is always calm and comfy i can’t wait to get another one!

Had a great experience at dark water tattoo. When I got there for my appointment I was greeted at the front counter by Andrew their piercing specialist. He went to the back and got my tattoo artist DJ who already had the paperwork ready for me to sign. The owner Ann came into check in on us during the tattoo. She was very friendly. Im very pleased with the professionalism of the studio 10/10! Ive already made another appointment with DJ and look forward to working with him again.

Got my eyebrow piercing done here about a month ago and it was a good experience. Very quick and easy, the piercer was very informative and told me not to be a wuss lol

I had gotten a line of bird tattoos that the previous artist did not do so well on. I went to Ann and she fixed it right up! She is very nice, and does very good work. (Picture with plane is the birds Ann fixed)

I brought my 10 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced. Andrew did the piercing. He was fantastic. His set up was very clean, he explained the whole process of what he was going to do before he started so my daughter was comfortable. He was thorough in explaining the aftercare to her and patiently answered all questions she had for him. I would highly recommend Darkwater Tattoo Shop for any piercings. *sidenote* while I was in the shop I overheard another tattoo artist explaining to a potential client why the tattoo/placement of a tattoo they wanted wouldnt work well with her other tattoos. I found that extremely impressive that she risked loss of a potential client to make sure the work was on point.

I had a small tattoo that I wanted covered. When I arrived they had an image sketched up and ready to go. They listened to what I wanted. DJ, who is an apprentice did the tattoo, and did an amazing job. I was very comfortable, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Ann was available to help guide DJ if any help was needed. It was a wonderful environment and I am very happy with the end result. Look forward to getting more work done in the future.

I got my piercings done here by Ann and I highly recommend her. Most tattoo shops that do piercings are not good simply because they use jewelry that causes infections/ allergic reactions, or tell you to clean with dial soap. Here they have custom jewelry also they tell you to use salt water 10/10 recommend and will be back!!!

Wrong placement on my Tragus piercing and the crystal got stuck in my ear because the bar was too short. I had to have it taken out.

I had a bad piercing experience prior to coming to this shop which made me feel iffy about getting it redone. I decided to come here after getting a beautiful tattoo a bit ago. She pierced me laying down resulting in a crooked nipple piercing that went too deep into my tissue and now I have a bump and it’s hot and inflamed

My daughter, age 10, got her ears pierced at Darkwater Tattoo today and it was a success. I would never have thought to go to a tattoo parlor but it was suggested to me by one of the gymnastics moms. So I did my research and chose Darkwater Tattoo based on all of the wonderful reviews online and the reviews held true. Ann was fantastic and made my daughter feel very comfortable by talking with her and explaining everything as she went. My daughter wouldn’t stop talking on our way home about how happy she was and how kind Ann was to her. Thank you Ann!

I brought my 8yo daughter in to have her ears pierced for her birthday. Ann was great! She took the time to explain to my daughter exactly what was going to happen and ensured that my daughter was fully comfortable with the process before even beginning. She reviewed the aftercare process and showed my daughter how to do it on her own so she can clean them while at school.My daughter’s ears look great. She’s had very little soreness and absolutely no redness or irritation. I’m so glad I chose Dark Water Tattoo and Ann to pierce my daughter’s ears and 100% recommend her.

I took my two girls, ages 9 and 10, to get their ears pierced today. I absolutely canNOT recommend this place enough! Staff were welcoming and kind, but also very diligent in making sure my girls understood what was going on. My girls understood every step, and who had final say in all aspects. We are so very happy with the entire experience! I look forward to returning to the shop in the future!

Listen I’ve been to a few tattoo places and from the time I walked in the door at Dark water I was treated with respect, the staff is so friendly they made me feel very comfortable. The tattoo artist Ann has a heart of gold and is extremely talented, she finished my tattoo so fast and with ease that I forgot to fall asleep. The shop is so nice and clean with a beautiful aroma, I had to catch myself because it almost made me feel like I was at the spa. I have definitely found my forever tattoo place

I brought my daughters to get their ears pierced this afternoon and cannot say enough great things about Dark Water Tattoo. They made us feel welcome right off the bat and were wonderful about calming any nervousness the girls had. The facility was clean and the procedure was done in a hygenic manner. I would recommend to anyone.

Went to add some hieroglyphics to my Egyptian half sleeve. Mikayla did an amazing job. She was very clean and respectful as well. I will definitely be going back to her for more work!

Got my septum pierced 6 months ago and now its 100% fully healed. Not crooked, no bumps, and it compliments my face :) The piercer was very confident and had a great sense of humor. She makes sure you know what you’re signing up for in terms of aftercare and is very knowledgeable. Great place ✌️

Ann did a wonderful job piercing my ears. Everything was very clean and the earrings were sterile. She did a great job explaining how she was going to pierce my ears and the after care required. This was my third ear piercing and it was the least painful.I highly recommend this shop for ear piercing. Ann is excellent

I’ve gotten 2 piercings from this place in the past couple of months, the piercer there, Ann, is very thorough and professional with how she handles the tools and jewelry. It is very sterile, and a great place to get generally painless piercings. They use a needle instead of a gun, which I’ve noticed to be less painless. The price is on the higher side but it’s worth the money! I will definitely be coming here again for my next piercing!

Just got a tattoo over the weekend by DJ who is an apprentice at this shop! I absolutely love the tattoo it came out perfect! The shop was really nice and it was clean and comfortable throughout the process! Will be going back for sure!

I absolutely love Darkwater for piercings. I am really anxious but they made me feel at home in their shop. They have a ton of knowledge about piercing which definitely helps make me feel more comfortable. 10 for 10 recommend.

I only had my earlobe pierced here since I had made the mistake of getting both earlobes done years ago at a Walmart jewelry counter. Those cheap places are a bad idea since my left earlobe was pierced crooked, which is why I went to Darkwater to have it re-done properly. Yes it was probably significantly more than those cheap places but the customer service, professionalism and expertise was worth paying more for. I wish I had gotten both ears done at Darkwater years ago. The piercer was highly skilled and I had no trouble trusting her expertise. I sincerely appreciated her patience and her educating me on the aftercare and the piercing procedure. They even deep cleaned my antique diamond stud earring for free while I was there!Dont cheap out even if its just for a seemingly simple earlobe piercing! Go to a professional like the lady at Darkwater! (Sorry I forgot the piercers name.)Those cheap places have the employees watch a 15 minute video on how to pierce and thats it!

This is probably the cleanest shop Ive ever been in. The desk person was very nice and the owner Ann is such a nice lady. I arrived without an appointment shortly before closing to get new ear jewelry. I called and she let me come in and put the new hoops in for me. I was thankful for her help as one of the holes was closing up. I highly recommend Ann for your piercing needs.

I had been looking for a while for a professional piercer to pierce my 9-year old’s ears. Ann/Darkwater did a fantastic job - Ann took time to talk with my daughter to make sure she understood the entire process (including after care). Ann made sure my daughter was completely comfortable with getting her ears pierced. Most importantly, my daughter loves her newly pierced ears.

After an extensive amount of searching for the right tattoo shop for my first tattoo, I eventually decided on Darkwater Tattoo and I am so glad that I did. The shop is really clean and all the artists are very good. I decided on scheduling my appointment with Ann Palmer and I am just so happy that I did. She did a rose floral tattoo design on the inside of my forearm and completely made me feel at ease. She explained everything thoroughly and let me know to ask as many questions as I wanted. I had a great experience here. Ann is super nice, the shop was really clean, and the tattoos she did came out great. She does amazing color work and its one of the reasons I went there. Ive been to a bunch of other shops and this was the best experience Ive had.

Just got a nostril piercing. Process was quick and enjoyable, the piercer makes a great environment that makes you more comfortable. My piercing was placed perfectly and done very professionally and neatly. Thoroughly went over aftercare and her saline spray is a very good quality!

Although I didn’t get any work done here (not yet, at least) - I did visit this shop yesterday and spoke with Ann about a piece I wanted to get done. My 5 star review is based purely off of my initial interaction with her. Ann was helpful, upfront, and handed me her honest opinion about what I wanted. I have some pieces done on my body but I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a tattoo artists bold honest opinion. I truly respect you and your establishment for that! I will most definitely be back to work on a piece that makes sense and that will last a lifetime. Thank you again!

AMAZING experience.First, my friend and I came here back in April and she got a couple of tattoos done. It was late so I was unable to get anything but hers came out phenomenal.Back in April I had gone to a different shop to get a few ear piercings. They had since gotten swollen and I’m not sure if infected or an allergic reaction to the metal (which I have never had an allergic reaction before with my previous jewelry’s so I doubt it was that...)Anyway, today I decided to take the earrings out but I couldn’t get one of them out because the infection or whatever had swollen up so much... I decided to go to Darkwater since the original shop did not really help me when I went there about a week and a half ago.The piercer at this shop was absolutely amazing and I am so thankful for her. Although it was painful, she was able to remove the jewelry and give me some tips on cleaning to hopefully reduce the swelling as well as clear up the issue. Unfortunately, if it doesn’t clear up by tomorrow I will have to go to the doctor but I am so thankful that she took the time to assist me with my issue. Especially since it was hers or her shops issue to begin with.Thank you so much again!!

Great place! Went in to get my ear lobes pierced since I hadn’t had earrings in for about 10+ years. The owner, Ann, was honest with me and said my holes would probably open back up easily, and I wouldn’t have to pay for the piercing. They did end up opening and she only charged me for the jewelry. Very friendly and SUPER clean. You can tell they care a lot about hygiene. Everything was cleaned and sterile and there was not a thing that looked out of place. Highly recommend! 10/10.

I got a daith piercing and my friend got a regular lobe piercing when we went our first time and they were wonderful. She gave us lots of advice on not only after care for the piercings, but also looking for a reputable shop and red flags for other piercers. She was also willing to answer questions even after we were finished through facebook, call, etc.. Couldn’t recommended a better place!

I went here on Sept 18th,2020 for another Tattoo and had a wonderful experience. Ann is an experienced,talented artist, and has evolved over the years to be the best she can be. The shop is immaculate and tidy. Her staff is friendly and attentive and I’ve always trusted her skill.

Saw these awesome reviews and recommended my husband go in and ask for pricing. Trying to figure out why they would charge $500 for a name tattoo that has 7 letters. I’ve had tattoos done with more detailing and I’ve paid less. Doesn’t make sense. They lost a very good customer.

Went here 3 separate times to get two helix piercings and an awesome ankle tattoo (I love it!). The store was always clean and sanitized. Everything was professional and the owner Ann is friendly and fair. 10/10

I went in for a daith piercing to help with my migraines. Ann was SO incredibly nice and immediately put me at ease. She explained everything she was going to do and explained what was happening as she was piercing me. She kept me distracted and I barely noticed her piercing me. Definitely would recommend!

She was able to squeeze me in very last minute for a belly button piercing. Everything was new and sterilized and opened in front of me. She made me very comfortable and had me and my sister laughing the whole time. I will 100 percent go back for any piercings in the future!

It’s amazing that anyone would go to a shop that shows that the work is mediocre at best. I have two different tattoos that I’ve gotten from Ann and they are both completely illegible and this was years ago and seeing some of the new work just shows that the skills haven’t changed and the artistry is horrible.
