I would recommend Brandon if anybody needs a tattoo ask for him. I walked in to Marcs a little over a month ago to get a tattoo of my beloved Rottweiler who was four and a half years old and I was losing him to lymphoma I ended up losing him February 7th in the middle of both parts of the tattoo. I walked in Brandon is the one I talked to and I could not have been happier I told him what I wanted and he made it a hundred times better than I could have ever imagined he told me he would take care of my boy and boy did he ever. Got my first tattoo with Brandon a little over a week ago. I was very nervous but he was totally calm and nonjudgmental which made it a lot easier for me to actually go through and do it. He did a great job and I’m so so happy with the tattoo I got. I will definitely be back again !!! 😁

Great place to get pierced!The piercer there is very knowledgeable and makes sure you understand not to touch the piercing. Hes done two of mine and everything went as planned. My daith didnt even hurt the day after getting it and its been only a week and still no pain.

Hey! I literally just got my septum done by Chris. It was my first facial piercing and I definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something less painful. Chris was very wonderful! Magical experience.

Love getting pierced here. Always heal so well, and everything is extremely clean. The staff are kind and explain everything with great detail and answered any and all questions I had!

Walk away while you can! I walked in last Friday to get a tattoo. I was told they had no availability and had to place a $50 deposit to schedule an appointment. I’ve been tattooed/pierced here before (a few years back), so I went along with it. I get it, you don’t want people flaking out on appointments. Well, my coworker’s mother passed away the day before my appointment, so I offered to cover his shift. I called Marc’s 6/20, the day before my tattoo appointment. I called at 9AM and 11AM, but got no response because they weren’t open- and the mailbox was full, so I couldn’t leave a voicemail. They don’t open until 12:30 btw. On my lunch break, I called again at 2:04pm. The receptionist sounded inconvenienced by my call and flat-out refused to reschedule my appointment because it wasn’t 24 hours notice. My appointment was for the following day 6/21 at 1pm. So, I was turned away because I didn’t call an hour earlier (even though I called in the morning 😩). She said the only way I could reschedule was by coming in and leaving another deposit. PLUS, they’d be keeping the $50 deposit I already put down. In my opinion, this just sounds like bad business- robbing me & your artists of money. But hey, karma comes around & I won’t go broke over $50- but Marc’s (& his receptionist) might! If they care this little about repeat customers, what makes you think they care about your design? Or overall hygiene? Just makes you wonder! I feel like everything happens for a reason, so more than likely this was the universe’s way of protecting me from getting a bad tattoo. Thanks for reading this, & see u never!

Brandon was top notch when it came to doing a portrait of my wife who passed away recently his professionalism is a asset to Marc’s business I would highly recommend Brandon to anyone who is interested in getting a tattoo

Scotty at Marks ,is the only person I have do my tattoos, they all bend together perfect and its noticeable that a pro has done all my work.

Came in as a walk in to get a piercing change out and to get my Tragus piercing re-gauged. They had a lot of great jewelry options to choose from and Chris was so nice and helpful! Very experienced as a piercer and professional. Honestly, based on my experience with him alone, I’m already trying to figure out what piercing I want next so I can go back. Highly recommend!

I called Marcs tattoo prior to leaving my house in attempt to get my septum pierced. I was told on the phone that I would be able to get pierced. They are a walk in only business. I left my house and drove 50 minutes to this establishment, only to be told as soon as I walked in that the piercer probably doesnt have clean equipment all of the sudden. There was a client being pierced upon walking in & I was told her septum was getting pierced. When she checked out, her nostril was pierced not her septum! At no time was I told on the phone... hey if one more person comes in then you will not be able to be pierced. Why would they not clean equipment as the day goes on? Even if Chris pierced multiple septum all day, the equipment cant be cleaned and placed in the sanitizer throughout the day? I asked if the equipment could be sanitized and I could wait. I was told it takes an hour and the piercer does not take clients past a certain time. Chris couldnt work up until the shop closes? I walked in at 7:15pm. They close at 9pm! A young group of girls came walking in after me that wanted their belly buttons pierced. So all of the sudden the pircer couldnt take the 5-10 minutes to clean the equipment and stick it in the sanitizer while they waited a few minutes? I have NEVER EVER heard so many excuses. Chris and his fellow co-workers are extremely unprofessional and did not attempt to be accommodating at all! They did not care that I drove from 50 minutes away. They did not want to even attempt to provide any type of customer service. When I am at work, I personally would want to make as much money as possible-- not this generation! Chris you missed out on making a pretty decent tip! I hope the receptionist & Chris take some much needed advice on customer service!

Got my nose pierced here and loved how the Chris made me feel so comfortable. Went through the tips and suggestions with me and kept asking me if I had any questions. I got my nose pierced before at another place and the lady didnt talk to me at all. Thank you for having such a comforting environment!

I got most of my tattooes here. For the most part they are good. A girl who used to work there named Cole was the best. She was quick and my tattoo still looks amazing years later. I love there gothic style tattoos.

The receptionist is very personable and honest, she know what she is talking about and if she says you need to come in and speak to an artist shes saving you from wanting your time. I can relate to many over the phone questions as I am a hairdresser. Ive been going to Tim Would for a little over 5 years, Ive followed him from his last spot to Marcs and its a far better atmosphere. Tim is an amazing artist and really just one of the best guys I know. His work speaks for itself. I love that fact that he adds so much color and life to his work. Even though the white at the end is killer after sitting 5 hours. He takes pride in what he does, again I can relate with doing hair. Id highly recommend Marcs tattooing and body piercing for all your body modifications!

I got my tattoo done on my birthday 5/15Scotty did mine, he was absolutely fantastic!!! I would definitely recommend Marc’s Tattooing! He was very patient with me, as it was my first tattoo, I was a little nervous. He told me he has been doing tattoos for 27 years and everyone in his family does tattoos as well. Everyone in the shop were very kind and helpful!

I’ve gotten several piercings done by Chris in the past 4 years. Chris explains all the details and creates a clean and comfortable environment.

Andrew did my tattoo. He didn’t stencil it, but he drew it out on my arm first. It was amazing. I had nothing to correct. So much talent at this place! They’re friendly, super artistic, and want to make you as comfortable as possible. Ty so much!

I went to get 2 cartilage piercings last week, and before now i’ve only had my ears pierced at claire’s😰, and i was super nervous for it. I got pierced by Chris and he went over everything briefly before hand and spoke with me the whole time. I almost passed out after while i was calming down and they let me lay down for a bit and gave me ice since i felt warm. the lady at the front desk also gave me water. I called at one point as well to ask a question and they were super nice and helpful, I felt really comfortable the entire time and i’m definitely going there any other time i want a piercing!

Easy, quick appointment making. Office staff is very nice. Had an appointment with Tim, when I got there everything was ready to go. He did the research and had the stencil ready . Tim was very professional and his work was outstanding. He was familiar with what I wanted . Would definitely go to Tim again

First tattoo I ever got and The artist Tim (Marcs tattoo in Dickson City) made the process painless and incredibly smooth. I got a cross on my ribs and the wood detail was amazing. He also added some of his own flair with my permission and I couldnt be happier with it. He was quick and precise and this is the easiest 5 star review I ever gave. Marcs is a phenomenal place and Tim is a phenomenal artist. I cant wait to come back!

Great place for a piercing! Roy pierced my cartilage about a week ago and I havent had a single complication since! Very friendly man. He eased the worries of a new comer like me and answered all my questions thoroughly! Highly recommend Roy!

Awesome place to get any sort of work like tattoos or piercings, my first couple tattoos were done by the girl Cami who works there and her work is amazing, her linework is awesome. Shes also the newest tattoo artist there, everyone else has been there for a while but they all do exceptional work

This is where we go for all our ink! Shelly Black is a true artist and super cool to hang out with for 5 hours while she creates amazing art on my body! She takes your ideas and makes it reality. We are Looking forward to many more hours at Marcs Tattooing. Highly recommend!

Ive been going to Marcs for almost 20 years. I have 14 tattoos. They are the best. Ive used them all. They are so friendly and nice. Professional. Im 45. I wont go anywhere else.

Although their prices are a bit on the higher side for everything, I am willing to pay a little bit more to ensure good and sanitary work is done, which is exactly what you get here at Marcs. I got a tattoo by Tomas and love it! Also got my monroe pierced by Chris and havent had any problems. :)Only reason I gave it three stars is BC neither my boyfriend nor I were impressed by Scotty too much. My bf got our sons name tattooed on his chest(that one was nice) but also got a 45 adapter on his hand and it was not symmetrical at all and the circle in the middle wasnt evenly round.

Very rude and unprofessional! I walked in to get a tattoo this evening. I told them I wanted a dolphin jumping out of the water with a sunset. They told me to draw up a pic or go get a pic and come back. They didnt want to be bothered. Sorry, but arent u guys suppose to be the artists? Place is filthy. Glad I walked out!

So I was There yesterday and wanted a comet tattoo. Didn’t come out like I wanted and was not happy. Called that night and he said come down the next day. Well he fixed it! I am super pleased with the rework and would recommend going here for your tattoo! Thanks Andrew!!!

I got my first tattoo here. I made an appointment with Shelly a week or so in advance. When i came in for my appointment, Shelly told me she just got done with a sleeve she had been working on for a few hours and was too tired to tattoo me. (mind you the tattoo i got is a yin yang a bit bigger than a quarter). So, i ended up having Scotty instead. He was very nice, and i thought there were no problems. After the yin yang healed, the ink bled out a little so the black circle is way bigger than the white one. Its very asymmetrical & bugs me a lot- since its permanently on my body. Hey, at least its small.

Scottie is so talented. Im an older customer and no one makes you feel that way. Courtesy at its best. Just had one done today. Beautiful. Exactly what I wanted. Great place

Ive never had a positive experience with their receptionist, nor have I had a positive experience getting tattooed here. Poor quality, not good art. Receptionist is always rude - at first I thought I had just come in on a bad day, but her attitude is consistently bad. Id really only recommend getting pierced here, if anything, as a last resort.

Shane did an amazing job for us as a walk in. Professional and friendly. Plan to be back soon for more work from him.

I am beyond upset with my piercings. 2 years ago i came in for my first nostril piercing and it was perfectly placed and pierced so i decided to go back to Chris for my second nostril. they are nowhere close to even. the new second piercing (black hoop) is so low on my nose i can’t even get jewelry in it properly and it’s very difficult. i’m so upset everytime i look at my piercings that i was once proud of. it honestly just looks awful. i will never recommend this shop or chris as a piercer to anyone

Walked in last night (4/17/21) for a nose piercing. They said they werent doing anything below the mask right now. Disappointed but whaddya do? Referred me to another shop and both guys were nice enough.

I got my second tattoo by them. From the time I walked in and spoke with Scotty one of the artist till I was done was fantastic great pricing very clean and sterile. I would deco and them to anyone who was looking at get a tattoo or a piercing.

The man who tattooed me was wonderful. Im sorry I forgot his name. He took alot of time getting the design perfectly for me. I will surely go back to them in the future.

Tim did a fantastic job with my first ever tattoo and I will definitely be back again. Hes easy to talk to and he clearly loves his job

Paid 200$ for a tattoo and the ink did not hold in one spot on it at all and they wouldn’t even consider fixing it without an extra charge it also is not my first rodeo it is my 5th tattoo and I take care of my ink and not one of my others is faded nor missing spots of ink and I know they’re just gunna take this down like the half a** shop they are Hense why they have 5 stars they take every bad review down only reason I even gave them 1 star is because I had to in order to post this

Vary rude laying on the couch and saying what you want vary unprofessional and saying i cant do that you shuld talk to someone seen what els you could do amd saying well see i can do that but cant do that and going to smoke 6 times no wonder you had 4 people that canceled

Disappointed to say the least! Not the same shop, attitudes and vibes it use to be. Been going here for all my work for several years wont be going back!! Very disheartening! Now to find someone to correct this mess.

Would never recommend anyone to go here for anything. They act like children, over price tattoos that are terrible and are ignorant to what the customers want. I definitely would not trust them with anything.

Called to make sure there was a piercer on they said yes and told me they could get me in if i was there for 9 granted i’m coming from wilkes-barre area i get there ten minutes before 9 and i was told they could not do it i even stated i had called. if they knew they couldn’t they should not have said to be there by 9. very disappointed.
