Sacred Art Tattoo

Ive been to a lot of different shops and this one is just something special. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was hanging around family from the second I walked in (which isnt something I experience often as a socially anxious person!). I was lucky enough to book with Jade, who is absolutely lovely and an incredible artist. She did a great job on my tattoo and made the entire experience very comfortable. I will absolutely return in the future when I get the chance!

This place is truly exceptional. The best experience Ive ever had at a tattoo shop. Ive been there twice so far and there will be many more trips to follow.

Alex has done three of my tattoos and does an excellent job. I started going to Alex in 2019 during the time I was living in Connecticut. I love his detailed worked. My first tattoo from him was the Joker on my chest. My second tattoo was a half sleeve of Superman running through Gotham City. Alex was able to create incredible detail in both the Joker and Superman. He produced exactly what I asked for while also adding in some of his creativity and eye for detail. I moved back to New Jersey after school and was not able to find an artist I liked with Alexs skill that was reasonably priced. My most recent tattoo is an Ouroboros wrapping around my calf and I decided to make the 2 hour drive to Connecticut so Alex could do my tattoo. I am so happy with his work, he is worth the drive! If you are looking for a tattoo artist with an amazing eye for detail and do not want to pay New York City prices I highly recommend seeing Alex at Sacred Art Tattoo.

Literally the best shop ever. Jade does such amazing work and such an awesome, understanding artist. Made my experience with my first full day session beyond worth it. I swear by this shop, they’re so clean, give amazing aftercare instructions, and Jades color work is stunning. This shop is worth the 45 minute drive and absolutely worth the price. If you’re looking for a shop, this is the best one. They also fixed my tattoo from another shop and told me what they did wrong. I love the individual rooms with the curtains and the TVs, everyone who works here is so nice and fun to talk to. Again, thank you so much!

The most wonderful, talented people you will ever come across! Great atmosphere in the shop, I immediately felt comfortable when I walked in. And the work they do is outstanding!! I get so many compliments on the pieces I have gotten here and they’ve all healed wonderfully and look fantastic even after over a year healed. I’ve been tattooed by Ashley and Jade, hopefully I’ll have the chance to get tattooed by everyone here someday💕

The artists here are amazing! Everyone there is very friendly and they make you feel comfortable. I’ve gotten tattooed by Kaysee specifically and she is so talented and sweet. The tattoos came out amazing, I never had any problems with healing, and if I needed to take a break it was no problem. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone!

Out of 11 tattoos Christi has done 6 of mine and they’re all truly incredible. She is a welcoming and funny person who does her best to make you feel comfortable in the studio. Her quality of work is so impressive and the vibes are always immaculate. She also offers free touch-ups if things go wrong (like a dog scratching up a healing tattoo).all leg pieces shown are by her and on my arm the umbrella and the soot sprite and the man with the sign have all been done by her too :)

If I could add more stars I truly would. I only get tattoos spontaneously & if they’re a reasonable price. With that said, the booking process was so easy -I’m talking same day. I love the fact that this shop is family-owned as well. They provided a welcoming and friendly atmosphere from the mother at the front desk who was super sweet which set the tone to the shop since she’s the first person you see,to the apprentice Ash, who happens to be the owners son. They showcased such impressive skill and attention to detail in creating my tattoo & The room where it was done was so fun. I loved the fact it showcased the artist true personality with unique collectibles and decorations around, adding to the overall positive experience. What stood out was Ash’s willingness to listen and accommodate my preferences, making the tattoo truly personalized while still recommending professional expertise. I appreciate the shops dedication to customer satisfaction and would certainly return in the future.

Christi is my artist and has been for the past three years! Her work is absolutely beautiful and she doesn’t nothing but make me feel comfortable during my tattoo sessions. all of my legs tattoos were done by her and are stunning. She takes her time to make sure everything she does is perfect.The shop is amazing too! Everyone there makes me feel comfortable and the place is super clean! Love it here.

I heard about Steve (Dutch) from co-worker. I did little research and found his work. I was stunned. Second I saw this Man work I knew he is the ONE.I came to the studio to discuss the project. This studio is very unique. Staff is very nice and understanding. I think its great place if you are new to tattooing or if you are og and have whole body covered. Those guys will accommodate you well and you will find the right person.Being tattooed by Steve was experience on its own. Room of where he is tattooing is like museum. Full of unique portraits, figures, posters. Now lets get to the most important part. Tattooing. First of all, he has gentle style. Hands are sensitive area, yet with Steve I felt nothing. In between great conversations and great movies like Braveheart and Patriot I didnt even notice when it was all over.And what I saw amazed me. This Man literally gave life to Lion and Wolf on my hands. As you can see on videos those babies are ready to bite and are as real as real animals.I strongly, strongly recommend Steve and all his artists!

I’ve gotten two tattoos done by “Lefty” and he wish my favourite tattoo guy! I love his vibe and the work he does! I can’t wait to get more and bring my friends! I love love the owners! They are so sweet and honest. Being that I have severe anxiety this statement means alot: I am comfortable here and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

This is a long time coming. Its been 3 1/2 years since I got my tattoo by Kaysee. She was recommended by my hair stylist. She seemed really stoked about my idea, which is really nice to hear! We went back and forth on the design to make sure it was perfect, and she had no issue taking the critique. The whole session was so pleasant. We listened to music, and talked pretty much the whole time (by the end, we were both exhausted lol). I felt really comfortable around her and everyone at the shop. Shes an amazing tattoo artist, really gentle too! I instantly fell on love with the tattoo when it was done. I would LOVE to work with her again!The shop itself is very clean, I had no worries about cleanliness. Everyone there is pretty chill too, all are great artist. The comradery was really fun! Everyone is so supportive of each other.I would definitely recommend Kaysee, as well as anyone else at Sacred Art Tattoo! Theyre one of the best, if not THE best, in the state!

My artist is KAYSEE - her work is untouchable. I have been consistently going back to her since I moved to CT. Which wasn’t too long ago. I now have a full sleeve of her work & she is the best artist i’ve ever had. The most comfortable tattoo parlor Ive ever walked into. The owners and artists are all very friendly and really fun to be around.When I walked in for the first time and started describing what I wanted one of the artists (Christi Wild) jumped in and said Thats the Dharmachakra and had an amazing depth of knowledge into the type of tattoos I would want and the style of them. Shes been my artist since.Christis space was meticulously clean and organized, she shared multi mockups and ideas with me for the tattoo, clearly explained the pros and cons of different styles, and even was able to position and size my work in a way that avoided several moles while still getting the tattoo on my shoulder exactly where I wanted it.Shes an engaging and fun person to talk to if you have a long session. Shes a perfectionist when it comes to the work she does.I returned after my first tattoo to have an existing tattoo on my chest reworked in her style. She noticed the smallest section of the shoulder tattoo that hadnt healed perfectly and touched it up on the spot. I cant speak highly enough of her work. If I have my way she will be the only person to put ink into my skin from now on.Best tattoo parlor Ive ever been to, cant recommend them (and Christi) enough!

Canceled my appointment last minute then tried to reschedule it when their hours are not accommodating. Very inconvenient wouldn’t be using this place again. This as a first impression of a shop to me isn’t good.

The owner and his wife were absolutely AMAZING!!!!! I WILL be going back!! What turned into a consultation of a very meaningful tattoo turned into the owner giving me something more than I had hoped for and his wife is just so friendly and welcoming, I couldve talked to her all day. The whole staff was very friendly and inviting. The whole shop is very clean, all of the artists have their own rooms. I cant say enough good things about them. I cant wait to go back!!

Kaysee is amazing!!! She’s done all but one of my tattoos and I get complements on all of them all of the time! All of the artists and staff here are so friendly and helpful too!

I got two tattoos done by Ashton from his flash set that turned out so good! Cant wait to see them all healed up. Ashton was super nice and I enjoyed talking with him while getting tattooed. I will 100% be going back and getting more tattoos. Overall I loved the vibe of the whole shop and felt comfortable and welcomed. Sacred art is going to become my new place for tattoos and I cant wait for more!

Very first time getting a tattoo. Had the tattoo artist, Melvin. Amazing experience and he made it super comfortable because I was afraid with not being a fan of needles. Got a matching tattoo with my bestfriend and it was everything and so much more! Absolutely recommend the place!

I cannot say enough good things about this business, especially, Alex DeFranzo, the tattoo artist that completed a beautiful anklet piece for me. He is extremely personable, talented, and its clear that he takes great pride in what he does. His prices are fair, especially for the phenomenal work he does. I have a few pieces from different artists prior to him, and he is by far the best Ive come across. I have a second appointment to get my side done with Alex in June and I couldnt be more thrilled!

Absolutely love this place! All my tattoos have been done by Christi (cambion) and she’s a gem. I Always get compliments on my tattoos done by her, especially her ornamental stuff! Her work is beautiful and she’s been super sweet and helpful when it came to covering up one of my tattoos and working on a partial sleeve for me. She’s dedicated to her craft and is a pleasure to hang with and talk to while getting a tattoo. The shop itself is lovely, everyone is very nice and make you feel super welcome. Christi is honestly amazing. I had never found a tattoo artist that I had gotten along so well with before her. Her work is incredible and she makes the appointments so comfortable. She has done over 15 tattoos for me including unique ornamentals, several custom designs and even an amazing rework of a poorly done tattoo that I had previously gotten. I HIGHLY recommend booking with her and I know that she is someone that I will continue to see for work for years to come!

I’ve been tattooed by Kaysee several times, she’s been working on my right arm sleeve. She is amazing and very good at what she does! The shop is very clean and everyone is friendly and professional. I always leave very happy with the work I’ve gotten done and receive compliments all the time on my tattoos.

The best shop i know by far!! jade has done the majority of the work on my arm. i am absolutely in love with all the pieces she’s done for me, and i get compliments on them daily. i moved to new york city 6 months ago and have come back twice since to see jade for more additions to my arm, and i’m going to continue to do so!! the quality of work and the environment the studio creates is worth it.

My sister and I been here a few times now and Melvin (@artbymelbreezy on IG) always greats us with a smile. He always accepts our last min notice and makes sure we get exactly what we want. The conversation is always fluid and the choice of tv entertainment is always interesting. There hasn’t been a time that we left displeased!

Great shop. Went and got a tattoo on my bicep today done by Dutch, great guy the tattoo came out awesome will 100% be coming back for another tattoo in the future.

These girls are extremely talented. I got pieces from two different people here (jade and Kaysee) . I will definitely be coming back they are very welcoming and made me feel comfortable during my 4 hour session. Would definitely recommend anyone there honestly they are all really great artist.

For anyone looking for a tattoo, this is an absolute wonderful place filled talented artists. I go to Alex “Lefty” for my tattoo work. If your looking for detailed line work that is crispier than the best fried chicken you’ve ever had in your life, then he’s your guy. That being said, everyone here is also incredibly skilled and professional. Would rate 10 stars if I could!

May 2022- This time I worked with Dutch. He was the best tattoo artist, made me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted as well as connected with me to understand my tattoo. Im so happy to have a safe environment to get my art done. I will be saving up to return for my next peice. A+++June 2021- I worked with Erica on a cover-up. I love it and she was awesome. The shop is very clean, and new needles are taken out of the package in front of you. As a baby with pain, I hardly felt anything. The whole experience was great and they are LGBT+ friendly. 100% would recommend! *Erica no longer works there

I’ve been going to Christi for a while now and don’t plan on stopping any time soon. She has always made me feel wicked comfortable in her chair. Whether it’s been tattoos based off of photos I’ve given her, her own custom ornamental work, or just ideas of what I wanted: She’s always pulled through. Very glad to wear her art and would highly recommend her.

I currently have 23 tattoos and 20 of them have been done at Sacred Art. i highly recommend Lefty. his pricing is very fair and his work is incredible. got a few done by him last week and hes very efficient; quick but the work doesnt look rushed. I’ll be going to him a lot more frequently. 10/10 shop. I havent gone anywhere else since i started going to them and i never will. They have my full loyalty.

I recently got my first tattoo and after doing loads of research and finding Sacred Art Tattoo and it’s dazzling reviews I knew I had to check it out! The reviews were surely right; not only was it clean, but the staff was incredibly kind. They walked me through everything thing that would happen and what they were doing the whole time. I really could not recommend them enough!

Went here yesterday for my first tattoo and was super nervous but that all went away with the friendly staff. I loved Kaysee! She did my first and second tattoos and was super awesome. The studio is super clean, it smells like disinfectant in the best way possible and it’s super chill and a great environment to get a tattoo at.

I booked a tattoo appointment with Kaysee, and it was a few months wait to get an appointment with her but it was very much worth it. I found her on Instagram and her lines were the best Id seen. The lobby of the shop was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Kaysee was the only person I met because I had her first appointment of the day, but she was extremely sweet and funny. My tattoo took about two hours but I could never have guessed; she made the time fly by. She has a light hand and checks in with you often to make sure youre feeling comfortable. Im beyond happy with the result and I will absolutely go back in the future.

This tattoo place is very clean, a very calm and relaxing place to get work done. I had Kaysee do a design and had her add her own twist to it and i’m in love with it! I would 100% recommend going here she is a very talented artist, and I am for sure going back in the future!

After seeing the art online I decided to give this place a try for my next tattoo. It was clean and had a really chill atmosphere. The girl who helped me book an appointment was really nice and Alex who did my tattoo was really cool. Most importantly the tattoo came out great and was exactly what I wanted. When you discuss the tattoo you have in mind, explain to the artist what you want, and how you vision it completed they start drawing it out making it your tattoo he or she might suggest a little something, something from there creative mind, and I know for me, I think its really cool. Alex, “Lefty”, is not only an amazing tattoo artist but a dope artist in general. His ability to bring any idea to life is incredible. I’ve been to a few artists and Alex has been the only to fully deliver what I’m looking for with my designs. He is light handed, which is why I will continue to go back, and his tattoos have yet to fade on me and I’ve been going for a few years now. An open minded individual who I’ve enjoyed having conversation with while he tattoos me, which helps with my anxiety when getting tattooed. Pricing is straight forward every time which anyone can appreciate. This may sound like I work here lol but he’s really an amazing tattoo artist. I literally tell anyone who is looking to get tattooed to go to him first and foremost. He also plays some of the best music and his room is always decorated with some cool “stuff” to say the least. Very unprofessional. I left with a unfinished tattoo because Steve didnt want to tattoo anymore. Apparently Steve believes I tapped out. Im sure theres another story on his side.

The studio is EXTREMELY welcoming. I have several tattoos from other shops, and the vibe was intimidating. The artists were snooty. When I went here I knew I would come back because they treated me so kindly. They made me feel like there were no dumb questions, :)

I’ve been going to sacred art for about two years now (i usually get one new tattoo every year)the energy of the place is so inviting and comforting. Jade has been my chosen artist since the start and all the work they’ve done for me has been completely hand drawn from an idea description that i’d given with absolutely flawless results. They are an incredible artist and simply a lovely human!A friend and I have also had the pleasure of getting work done by Ash as well, the work he’s done for the both of us has been done so beautifully and respectfully, also just such a lovely human to be around and chat with!Sacred art and all there artists are extremely inviting and welcoming and I would highly recommend getting work done from any of their artists (especially Jade & Ash as i’ve had work done by them both!)
