Very professional, super friendly people here. I suggest you make an appointment ahead of time, especially for something more than a small piece. Jason is an amazing tattoo artist and somehow knows how to draw up exactly what we were thinking. He worked with us a full day as we had multiple pieces to do and he worked a super long night ensuring our pieces were flawless. The realism on this rose is just breath taking and the color saturation and line work is 100% on point on all of them. I promise you wont be disappointed.

The best service and such great work. My husband and I decided on a whim we wanted to get tattoos - 2 each. One of the tattoos I wanted was a cover up and we had previously stopped at another shop who told me it would require a consultation and they didn’t have time to tattoo us both. We called Squid Ink to ask if they had time for a couple of walk ins and they told us they would be available at 5pm. We showed up at 4:45, and they were ready for us. We showed them our ideas and they had no hesitation. They were going to make it all happen and at a great price. My husband and I are really happy with our experience here, and we’ll probably be back in the future!

I had a dermal piercing done in 2017 somewhere else. But whoever did it cross threaded the top when they put it on and it wouldnt come off. So Ive been just living with it all this time. Until recently, your piercing expert assured me, that he could get it off. So I came in to let him give it a try. They told me I had to buy a new top before they would even try to take the other one-off. So that costs 25 bucks plus tax. And then he actually couldnt manage to get it off and pretty much just laughed about it and said sorry about your luck. I really had no hope that he would be able to budge it. But now Im stuck with a brand new top that I cannot ever use and of course I paid the guy ten bucks for trying. Basically because its the right thing to do. So after almost two hours and almost forty bucks later I left exactly the same as i arrived except for maybe a little less patience and money. Never in my life have I paid for services and then just got straight hustled?Dont waste your time go somewhere else. Hustlers and scam artists.

This squid 1000% recommends. I had a piercing done by the one and only Jeremy and recently gotthese sweet new tatties done by the talented Blaine. They’re professional yet done to earth staff. Will be back soon! Thanks guys!!

Got a piercing and tattoo today and had a great experience! First time here and will definitely be coming back. Jeremy came in on his day off and my friends and I had great conversations with him, super chill and down to earth guy. He made my nose piercing go by super quick and smooth. Blaine did all of our tattoos and they all came out AMAZING! I’m super happy and this was 10x better than my first tattoo experience at another shop.

Called on a Friday to ask if they take walk ins on Saturdays. They said yes, come in around 2pm. We show up at 2 and they stated they were backed up, which is understandable. They took my information and said come back at 430 and our name is on the list. We arrived back at 430 and the artist Baker said he was a little behind, if we wanted to wait it would be 45 minutes. We waited in the shop. At 530 we signed a waiver while Baker sat & talked to his friend. At 545 he said it’d be about 5 minutes. At 610 more friends came in & he sat to chat with them. At 630 we walked out. In the meantime two girls came as a walk in & had an artist draw their sketches, and had them in the back room, ready to go. If you don’t have time or don’t want to do the piece, say that! Instead they chose to waist 4.5 hours of our Saturday.

Got my belly button pierced here yesterday and it was such a great experience! Me and the piercer talked for a while and he was so friendly and after finding out we liked the same bands he let me pick a song to play. The process of getting the piercing was good and didn’t take a long time but wasn’t rushed. Turned out so good and even after it was done we continued talking and was just overall a wonderful experience especially when I’m so new to the piercing scene. Thank you so much and I will definitely be returning for future piercings!

We came on a whim and my cousin got 2 small tattoos… we don’t know the guys name, but he was an apprentice and he did AMAZINGLY!!!!!! Would 10/10 recommend him!! My daughter also came and got a nose piercing and Mason did the piercing and killed it!!!!! Amazing job even more amazing personality and professionalism!!!! I got my tongue piercing from here and he did a wonderful job explaining everything from care to piercing process. I later called with questions and he was able to answer and help me figure out where i went wrong and how to fix it. I will come back here again for sure.

Best place in shawnee. Jason worked long into the night to make sure my cover-up was exactly how I wanted it. We spent a couple of hours just making sure the design was perfect and to my liking before he even started. He really pays attention to detail. The shop is so clean, the other artists are friendly and welcoming. Ive had two piercings from here as well. Deacon is super friendly and does a great job. Both piercings healed nicely. I will never go to any other tattoo shop.

Travelled in from KC to meet up with my sister and mom to get some matching tattoos. The first trip in we had an appointment and the staff was polite, besides taking well over an hour to get set up. But good work can’t be rushed so it wasn’t an issue. My granny decided she wanted one as well so they told us to just stop by the next week when they opened. We were told the artist was on his way and knew we were there, so we ran a few errands. When we got back he was there and said he’d go set up (he already had the design from the previous visit), but took his sweet time smoking for another 20 and said we could have our money back if we didn’t want to wait. We took the refund route which was disappointing in itself, but the owner had to come out with an attitude to add a cherry on top.For such a high minimum, I expected more professionalism from both the artist and the owner. To be fair all of my family has had quite a bit of experience around tattoo shops and this was the worst experience any of us have had.We went around the corner to a different shop and were able to get my granny in the same day despite them being pretty booked up since the tattoo was so simple. The entire experience from start to finish took about an hour and the staff was incredibly sweet. Not to mention the minimum was lower and the quality of the line work was significantly better.The other reviews on here aren’t bad which is why we tried this shop, so hopefully they were just having a bad day. Either way it’ll be a no from me in the future.

Had a tattoo that was over 10 years old and it needed some updates. Jason did a great job on the update. Made an appointment, paid in cash + tip and was out in a timely manner.

Would not do my tattoos. Anti American place that would not apply pro American tats in all places I expected not in oklahoma. I left Los Angeles over this but now I find anti constitutional garbage in oklahoma. Private business and refuse the right to serve pro American pro liberty customers... right on.

I absolutely love the atmosphere at Squid Ink!!! Jason Baker does phenomenal ink work! He has done more than half of my tattoos and Id follow him anywhere. He listens to your ideas and puts his own spin on them and makes them way better than I could ever picture them every single time. He is super knowledgeable, gives great advice and is great with follow up help if you need it. All of the artists do great work and are so nice! You never feel judged and they are all very helpful from beginning to end. Laid back and super chill place. Highly recommended!

I got my cartilage and daith pierced by Deacon hes absolutely amazing and very well educated. He also pierced my tongue a year and a half ago I absolutely love it. Jason has done many of my friends tattoos as well as tattooed her family and has done an amazing job. The shop is super clean. Everyone there is so amazingly nice. Not intimidating like some shops Ive been to. Will definitely recommend to anyone.

Very positive experience!!I just took my 17 year old daughter to get her lip pierced. They made me verify with my daughters birth certificate and my ID that I was her parent and that it was okay. I appreciated this. Very professional.Very hygienic conditions! I watched Deacon (the piercer) clean items and change his gloves so many times! I work in the dental field, so I recognized his sterilization equipment and was very impressed (we use the same equipment at our office to sterilize dental tools!!)My daughter has zero pain tolerance and said she couldnt even tell when he did it.Deacon was very friendly, funny and put my daughter at ease.All in all, highly recommend! Very friendly, fun, and clean atmosphere!

I had Jason Baker do my first tattoo back in 2014, it still looks amazing and years later I sought him out for my new piece! From free handing something to watercolor he has all the techniques down! My family and friends also have art work done by Jason, it’s excellent!While in the shop I also stopped to browse the piercings, they have such a beautiful selection of pieces and cover all kinds of piercings!Will be back and will continue to refer people! The girl at the front desk was very sweet, but our artist and the manager were not. We went in twice, once with an appointment and once without. Both times we waited a ridiculous amount of time for them to smoke a cig and not get set up. Since the artist was more interested in standing outside smoking while we were waiting for him to set up, we asked for a refund. The manager was disrespectful and acted like we were dumb/ didn’t know how a shop works. Bottom line is that is was incredibly unprofessional, even for a tattoo shop.The customer service was the worst I’ve experienced out of all the shops I’ve been to from Houston up to Milwaukee. Would not recommend this place.

I went in to see Jason because my sister had gotten a tattoo i really loved and I decided to get it as well. He got me in really quick and was awesome!!!! An absolutely amazing place and I wont be using anyone else!!! Also my favorite body piercer and Im sure many others... Deacon is here!!

I had a great experience getting my tattoo done by Jason Baker at Squid Ink! The facility itself is clean and professional but the artist is amazing!!! He turned my plain old tree tatt into the unique and beautiful tree that I had envisioned it to be. Very pleased and I would recommend this shop to anyone considering quality artwork.

Just had a piercing done by Deacon. I have small ears and not a lot of space to put hardware. Deacon worked with my anatomy and popped a ring in. Beautiful fire opal jewelry and no pain past the pierce. Love the new location off of Kickapoo, super easy to get to off the interstate. Two weeks ago I got a beautiful ink piece done by Sean. I’d been kicking this tattoo design around for about 5 years. Sean fleshed it out and brought my color idea to life. Gorgeous work!!!Clean shop and friendly, awesome people!!!

Such a lovely staff, cool as can be, Shaun or Shawn, is very light handed did an amazing job on my back tattoo, couldn’t have asked for better. Deacon did a great job on my daith, he’s done my double nostrils once as well, super friendly, funny, he’s super quick, makes the process as painless as can be.

I came to The Squid Ink when it was first opened up and Jason Baker did an awesome band on my arm, I showed him two pictures and told him I wanted a mixture of both and he gave me a badass tattoo. I recently decided I wanted to sleeve my arm but had no idea how to connect my tattoos and once again Jason Baker spent hours drawling me a badass tattoo. I overall had a great time for both my sessions and I’m excited for the 3rd, this tattoo shop is filled with great workers and I highly recommend it here!!

Jason and Dustin are great to work with. They are extending professional and will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. I also got a pair of their leggings. I am a “big” girl and wear a size 18w I. Jeans. I got a 2xl and they are a little large on me but otherwise super comfy. The quality is amazing. I will be purchasing more!

Shop just opened in February, but could have fooled me, despite COVID-19. Jason did amazing line work on my sternum, all the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable. HUGE SHOUTOUT to Deacon Pierce, I recently got a piercing from another parlor where they “half-assed” my piercing and messed up my jewelry. After speaking with Deacon about the experience, he gave me huge tips, including making sure my piercing look good and clean. Beyond happy with the outcome of my tattoo and reasonable prices, will be returning soon! Best shop in town!

Came in for a dermal whitch they said would be 40 minutes and a tragus with no room appearently and he said he wouldnt do them we went to good times tattoo and body peircing in the city it was worth the trip did the dermal in 2 minutes and the tragus in 1 without making us feel like were dumb for getting them and actually did it cheap, squid ink is rude and my friends and i will not go back

Sean is the sweetest and is genuinely interested in what you want tattooed. I’ve gotten most my piercings from here also and deacon is the coolest and so so kind!

He did a great job plan on going for myself loves that he told her the precautions and how to properly take care of her naval piercing.

So visiting from kc mo and my sister and me decided to get a 2 small hearts interlocking together..we stop by the shop and was told Sean would be able to do the tattoo for us.. he quoted us $100 each we agreed with price and paid after he took his sweet a**time getting ready he finally shows us the design he came up with we showed him what we wanted and he became very rude and told us that was not possible so we ended up getting our money back the only reason gave 3 stars cause it was clean and the rest of the guys were awesome weird one of them could have done it but we went some where else and got it for cheaper so it worked out great
