Got some tats by kopa let me just say best experience I have had by far. He was funny as hell very patient & polite. My mom got her first ever tattoo and he was very understanding helping her really figure out how she wanted this tatto she created in her mind. I am beyond grateful to have a talented artist who just as cool getting ready for the next round

I had such an amazing experience at Hydravolve! Kopa did an awesome job with my tattoo and he was so sweet, funny and wonderful. Mark and Billy treated me so well and everyone who came in the shop were great people. Definitely will be going back and definitely recommend to anyone wanting to have a great experience alongside a great tattoo!

Went to get my septum pierced with Paula yesterday after considering it for a long time, and I highly recommend her as a piercer! Not only was her energy light and fun, she was so informative and so professional throughout the service. She definitely made me feel comfortable. The piercing was quick and painless, which took me by surprise. It was a great experience!

Billy Biello did my first two tattoos and he will definitely be the person I go back to for my next ones. He was very friendly and did great on both tattoos. Very affordable too! All staff I had met were also very friendly and made me feel very comfortable!

Ive been to see Paula for piercings twice now, and I adore her. She is incredibly professional, very patient, and very personable. I will always return to her for future piercings.I had her do a second lobe piercing on one ear, she reopened my first lobe piercings on both ears, and has done a conch for me in one ear. Ive attempted to have a conch done twice before in the past, both times resulting in large piercing bumps, irritation, and healing so poorly they had to be removed. Its been about 2.5 months since she pierced it this time (and changed the placement from where it was previously for better healing), and I have had no issues. Ive never had piercings heal as well as when Ive had her do them. Im also a little spontaneous when I decide I want a piercing, and shes been able to accommodate my impulsive timing each time!Please go see Paula for your piercings. She is such an angel.

I had the best piercing experience with Paula today!! From the booking process to the actual piercing, Paula was so pleasant and explained everything she was doing (something important when committing to a facial piercing). After my piercing, I felt a bit woozy and Paula jumped into action with a bottle of water, some glucose tabs, and reassurance. Is she a piercing angel? She damn well might be.The shop is so clean, organized, and all of the staff is incredibly friendly. I would recommend Hydravolve to anyone!

Billy Biello is hands down the best artist I have ever seen. He has done a few of my tattoos so far and I don’t think I could ever go anywhere else now. He is gentle handed and can do just about anything you can imagine.

The wonderful people here clearly enjoy their art, and are very very good at it. Ive never had a piercing heal so well and smoothly. And Im excited for getting a tattoo there! I recently went to Hydravovle studios, and I left wanting to go to someone who could fix what was done. First thing wrong was the selected nose ring. It was dark gray which was unique. but the problem is the piercing has beads on it. Basically one side of it is beaded jewelry and the other side of it is how nose rings usually looks. It doesnt seem like its for me as man to wear. So now every day I am constantly checking my nose ring to make sure the beads arent showing. The second thing is the price. the price was INSANE. It costed almost the same price as when I got my nose pierced at another shop. the one I should of just went back too. I think its because Paula saw me pull up and in a bmw she decided to upcharge. but thats just a guess. When I wanted my nose piercing changed from a stud to a hoop the other shop did it for free and gave me cleaning liquid for free. this shop charged around 60 dollars to just change my piercing and it also asked if I wanted to tip. Im doing this review mainly because my Mom was very irritated after the time there. I never will be returning to this shop and I dont recommend anyone to go.

Got to bring my daughter to get her first tattoos today at hydravole studios in somerdale nj by Billy Biello not only did my daughter have an amazing experience he was precisely on time and did a great job on her tattoo and walkes her through everything the whole time. If you’re looking for a piercing, ask for Paula! She did an amazing job doing an auricle piercing for me. It’s been 2 months since I got it done and it has been healing so well. I’ve never had a piercing heal as smoothly as this one has - no blood or crusties! I highly recommend Paula’s work. I look forward to coming back for more!

I loved loved my experience here! I felt comfortable as soon as I entered the shop. I came in to get my face dermal removed. Mark explained the process step by step. First I was robbed out of my deposit from one artist then another artist took over and did my cover up named Kazz back in November and its now January.....still hurts. I was there from 11am until 12am next day. Because he continued to stop to smoke. Poor customer and thieves!!! I dont recommend this shop to anyone!!!! Stay away....

At 75 years old my Husband’s Grandmom told us she wanted a get a tattoo. With the help of Kopa we were able to make it happen! She was so nervous but Kopa’s lighthearted personality and whit calmed her and had us laughing the entire time. I love this place. Very clean and everyone is really nice and open to questions if you have any. Shannon did a piercing for me in June and I forgot to eat before the appointment and actually passed out - she handled it amazingly and gave me something to get my sugar up and some water. After resting, we finished like nothing ever happened and I healed perfectly. I just got a tattoo done with Patrick and he also made me feel really comfortable and kept a conversation going. He used Saniderm and my tattoo is healing well with no color loss. This is definitely my new place for any work I want done, highly recommend.

My best friend and l have been planning matching tattoos forever and never could find the time between work and life. Ive had 4 different piercings done by Mark. Hes very professional, honest about rejection rates and pros and cons of different piercings, and explains everything hes doing in the piercing process. He takes his time and makes sure youre comfortable. The only piercer I will go to.

I went here for a piercing and Mark was amazing. He is so easy to talk too and I didnt feel a thing. I would absolutely go back to him for my piercing desires and the shop itself had some beautiful work. Its a clean atmosphere where they show you everything fresh out of packages and you actually keep the sharpie they use on your skin (think about where or who it touched previously) I thought that was an awesome idea that Ive never seen done before. Shannon is my piercing go to. She’s so down to earth and will help you out with whatever you need and will be very honest with you about it. She’s not the type to over step you with prices, she’ll show you what’s more pricey and what’s on the cheaper side. She’s pierced me, sold me jewelry, and helped me with a piercing that my body rejected and was so gentle about it. Mickey is my tattoo artist and he is the coolest. He’s done almost all of my tattoos and same with Shannon he’s super down to earth and honest. It’s nice being able to go to the same place for both piercings and tattoos and being able to trust them with everything. They will joke around with you and talk to you while you’re waiting. Just in general the place is so homey and awesome to go to.

I came here last night to have my tragus pierced. The shop is very clean and comfortable. Mark who is the owner/piercer is very nice and knowledgeable. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. All my items were open in front of me. I even got to keep the brand new Sharpie he used to mark my ears. I do recommend making an appointment. Definitely would recommend and come back. Mark is awesome.

Got a rib tattoo with kopa today along with my other friend who got a collar bone tattoo and we are so happy with the product. I knew this would be a sensitive area to be tattooed but I wanted something else to be covered up. Kopa did a great job hiding the other tattoo and had such a good vibe during the process he made jokes and played music to help both of us relax a little more. Will definitely be back!!

Everything about my experience with Shannon, the piercer, was just so good. I got my septum and conch pierced, and my sister got a double helix, and both were super clean and quick. She really makes sure you leave loving what you got and will work with you every step of the way to make sure you find something that works for you. I gave her my budget and she made sure everything would work too, which I appreciated. The studio is clean and the artists are friendly, so this will for sure be my spot in this area.

I came by way of a google search. I had a piercing replaced, back dimple. I called, spoke with Mark, as soon as I heard his voice, I knew he’d be my piercer. I discussed with him what I wanted. Outside of the back piercing, I wanted a surface piercing replaced. He explained to me why my surface piercing wouldn’t be ideal, describing in detail everything I’d experienced with the first. Respect! I wasn’t given a choice the first time. I arrived about an hour later, completed the paperwork, and was immediately serviced with patience, kindness, comfort... the spirit of this man is incredible! He explained everything to me like it was my first time. I had 35 piercings when I entered the place, no need to explain, but he took that time. All tools and utensils were sterilized or new. His touch was as gentle as his voice and spirit. The pain was minimal. I’ve had no pain since. I often forget it’s there. The facility is bright, yet calming. Clean. Comfortable. Ive been wanting my nose pierced for two years now, but I was always too scared to get it done. I have been to piercing places all around and all I can say is I finally got it done thanks to Shannon. She was so friendly and welcoming despite my nervous energy. Shannon calmed me down right away. I had my septum pierced by Shannon. She is just, simply put an awesome person. It is clear that she has a real passion for what she does and is very dedicated to making it an awesome customer experience. The studio was super clean and I felt completely comfortable. Based on my experience with not only Shannon but also the receptionist I am certain that I will not go anywhere else for a piercing.

My daughter and I went to Shannon. I got an industrial piercing & my daughter had her eyebrow pierced. I also had my nose piercing changed to a hoop. The entire process was great. Everyone was friendly & helpful. It’s very clean. We both loved Shannon. She was very nice, explained everything and went above & beyond to make us feel comfortable. I was extremely impressed by how sterile everything is. Shannon takes all precautions... even gave us the marker used to mark our piercings since they don’t use them again for safety reasons. This was my daughters 1st piercing (besides ears) and it was by far the best experience she could have had. I on the other hand have had many piercings & have gone to a lot of different places. Some that I have walked out of after seeing how they do things. Others that were pretty good. However, none compared to Hydravolve or Shannon. I won’t ever go anywhere else. We will be going back soon to upgrade our jewelry. They offer anything you can think of. We highly recommend Shannon.

I suck at writing reviews. So some might find this underwhelming but my visit was anything but. Mark and his apprentice were warm and welcoming. This was my first facial piercing so naturally I was slightly nervous. The procedure was quick with minimal..actually almost no pain. It was over before I even had the chance to work myself into a frenzy of nerves. It was just an awesome, awesome experience. Great service and care to detail is important to Mark and it was so evident. I would highly recommend Hydravolve Studios.

Ive had Mark always change my piercing and he did it initially and hes great. My nose piercing fell out and I went to get a new one. I met his apprentice Cienna for the first time and she was very knowledgeable in what she was doing and was very warm and comforting. She explains what shes doing as shes doing it. I barely felt anything! Shes doing really well so far and I k ow shell keep accepting!!

Went to get some piercings done and again had a great experience. Shannon is such a professional and made the whole process easy. She was quick to respond and able to fit me in her schedule right away. She took her time making sure everything was sterile and had such a great calming demeanor that eased my nerves. Also very thorugh with explaining aftercare and recommending the best products to use. Shannon also offered to have me come back when Im able to change out my jewelry so she can help with that as well. I cant say enough good things about Hydravovle and will definitely be back for my next tattoo!

First time I went there for help with an existing piercing, and Mark was very helpful and patient. Clean, friendly, organized. Since I had a good first experience, I intended to return for a few new piercings. Sent an instagram message and an email inquiring about availability and never got a response on either. Very unprofessional. In store, staff is great. Otherwise, guess not. Unfortunately I will be getting my piercings elsewhere.Edit: I have edited my review to reflect the fact that Mark did eventually get back to me. I didn’t appreciate the sarcasm in the response to the review, but what can ya do. I understand businesses like this are taking a hard hit right now, and I want to support them because I know they work hard, so perhaps I will make an appointment here after all.

I recently had my nose pierced while on vacation in Dallas. The piercer knew I was on vacation & referred me to Shannon. Every time I feel like there’s an issue I reach out and her response time as well as customer service has been spectacular. She is so patient and knowledgeable. She’s a great!!!

I got an industrial piercing done here by Shannon. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and explained things as she was doing them, which I really liked. She also knows a lot about customizing jewelry so I will definitely be going back for that once my piercing is healed!

I went here after reading the reviews but was still a bit uneasy. That all went away as soon as I walked in. Cienna was so personable and knowledgeable. She changed my tongue piercing nice and smooth. When Mark came in his humor settled me even further and I was able to get a pretty nice looking navel piercing. I will definitely be going back for piercings as well as customized jewelry

Hello, hello.This is a rambling review for Nick. I went to him to get my septum pierced as a reward for myself for getting a 4.0 this semester. This wasnt my first body mod / piercing. I lived in NYC for a while, and only had gone to uh~ Adorned and Pure Body Arts and places like that before. While all the piercings Ive gotten at those places are technically excellent, the piercers there have made me a little uncomfortable in the past. Im not sure why. Maybe its because they have such a high volume of customers that the experience is impersonal?So, after asking a few friends who still live in my hometown if they knew any good shops, I decided go to Hydravolve instead. Im glad I did.Nick was a sweetheart and really knew his stuff. I felt like I could trust him, not just because he took his time to explain each step of the process, but because he was he was so enthusiastic about explaining himself. I could tell that hes really passionate about his job. He was happy to share his knowledge with me. At the same time he has a calm and reassuring professional manner.Im really pleased with the placement as well! My nose is a little crooked, and my septum is deviated. Looking at me straight on, though, everything is even with my piercing.Oh, also, one last thing, the decor had an almost homey vibe to it that I really appreciated. Its clean, of course, and has several private rooms. The place is decorated with stuff the artists are into -- like bearded dragon pictures. It made me feel the artists are personally invested in their business. Very cool.What Im trying to say is -- when you permanently change your appearance the minimum requirement is that the professional you see does it correctly, in a technical sense. What makes a good experience is feeling that the artist is as excited to help you as you are to get your mod done.And~ thats what I got from Hydravolve. So, thanks Hyrdavolve! Thanks, Nick!

I was a last minute appointment for a nostril piercing. Shannon is an amazing piercer. She went through the entire procedure before hand, explained after care and made me feel super comfortable. The experience was very quick and painless. I highly recommend this shop and their services

I had Shannon pierce my belly button and I couldn’t have asked for a better piercer. She walked me though the whole process of what she was doing and really made the visit comfortable. She is very talented, I love my new piercing

I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing the owner Mark is. He is not only crazy experienced with piercing, he’s also the kindest person. There was a dad there with his pretty annoying son who asked a million questions. I told Mark that I was kinda surprised that he allowed a kid into the shop. He said, “well he’s a single dad, so I feel for him.” That itself made me want to come back. He tightened up my loose dermal and didn’t even charge me. Outstanding costumer service.

Mark is amazing at what he does. He explained the entire process and the after care. Everything was extremely clean. He has been doing his job for 22 years and he is a real pro! I will definitely be back!

I am beyond disappointed with this place! Appointment had to made via email and a deposit had to be paid at that time. The email was sent to my 15 yo, so when we arrived we were sent away for not having a student ID which I totally get! We rescheduled with Shannon after filling out more paperwork and showing my daughter’s birth certificate, we even picked out the jewelry she would get! On the day of the new appointment I get a call from Shannon that she just then realized my daughter wasn’t 16! We had no idea she had to be 16, which would’ve been ok, but to cancel us twice waste weeks of our time, then they refused to give back our deposit!! The manager called me just to argue with me never intending to give me back my deposit. So arrogant and rude. Not good for business to treat people the way we were treated all over $25, if they need it that bad just keep it and don’t call and harass me!

Mark is awesome. I went in for a nostril piercing and he was super chill and personable. He has a ton of knowledge about placement and care, and made me feel super at ease. Definitely recommend! Thanks again Mark!

I took my mom with me to get my conch piercing and we always act a fool together. Everyone in the studio joked around with us to ease our nerves. Shannon did the piercing and she was so understanding of us acting stupid and it turned out beautiful. I love it and I cant wait to go back and have her do more.

Great tattoo artist (MickeyRat). Walked in a few days ago to get a quote on my tattoo, very educated with tattoos. I highly recommend him, my quote near my collar bone came out perfect & I was very comfortable. Shop was clean and everyone was very nice. Look forward to returning in the near future.

Great place for piercings!I had a cartilage piercing done here, about mid ear (not the usual top spot). My ears are very sensitive and I already had to let it close about 2 years before because of infection. Not only did they pierce it smoothly, but the planning, preparation, and post-care were awesome! And I know if I have any problems (4 months later and doing good!) they will help.

***UPDATE ITS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND AS OF JUNE 1ST STILL NO REFUND FROM THE OWNER MY REQUESTS AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAUS REQUESTS ARE BEING IGNORED***Unprofessional and unreliable. We had an appointment and when we arrived the shop was closed. We waited an hour to see if someone would show up but nobody did. We called and nobody answered, we kept getting the answering machine, I left a message but did not get a call back. I also sent an email. We finally received a reply via email and the owners excuse was that it was a blunder which is unacceptable as we left a deposit for the appointment and it was my sons 16th birthday. We ended up having to go elsewhere at the last minute smh. I have been trying to contact them to get a refund and the owner Mark will not reply! This is not how you run a business. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and leaving more reviews elsewhere if I don’t get my money back.

Kas par was super nice and accommodating to squeeze me in today! A singer in a famous rock band signed my arm so time was of the essence. He definitely hooked me up with a great piece last minute! Thanks dude!

I had every single one of my tattoos done by MJ at Hydravolve, and they all healed perfectly, the line work is extravagant, and I plan on going nowhere else except Hydravolve for my future tattoos. Everyone that works there is friendly and amicable, the shop is meticulously clean, and the artists truly know what they are doing. It is rare to get such a great vibe from anywhere the first time you walk in.

I got my tragus pierced last year in June. I cleaned it religiously and did everything i was told to do when I got it done. But no matter what I did it was always sore, red, and uncomfortable. I messaged the peircer multiple times about it to see what I could do to help it, or to see if I needed a longer bar. The only thing she kept telling me was to ice it and clean it. After a long 8 months of no help, and nonstop pain and bleeding. i had to take it out because this place did not seem to want to help. It was not worth the money and ill never return here again. I have never had any issues with all my other piercings and I heal pretty good. Dont waste your money at this place, it wasnt worth the 80 dollars i was charged.

Loved this place. A friend of a friend recommended it and I was a little unsure at first. Mark was extremely knowledable and knew a lot. I got dermal anchors in my back and he made sure to explain everything first and after gave me a talk about aftercare. It has been 3 days and you cant even tell that they are new piercings.

Had my granddaughters ears pierced for the 3rd time. The lady was EXCELLENT. Very clean and antiseptic. Explains everything before she does it. Minimal pain on earlobes. A little pinchy on upper ear cartilage. Highly recommend over shopping mall piercing.

Justin made sure I was 100% happy with the artwork before tattooing me. This is my 5th tattoo and this is the 1st one where I honestly wasn’t waiting to go numb.
