Noah was my artist: I walked in earlier in the week, was easy enough to set up an appointment and show him what I wanted. I wanted two tattoos in the same session which he had no problem doing, he and the other artists worked with me to get the designs exactly right how I wanted them and Noah even stayed hours past closing to make sure both got done and they came out great. Everyone there is very friendly and relatable plus they have a very friendly dog that walks around the shop. Highly recommend.

Love love love love love them! I’ve been searching for a tattoo place for a while and I finally found the one! Great environment, friendly workers and GREAT tattoo work! Reasonably priced and you can tell the artists care about their craft. 10/10 recommend. I will definitely be back !

Royal Ink is an inviting, friendly atmosphere. I called to see if walk-ins were available and was encouraged by Mike to come by where I received a tattoo same day. My artist Noah was very thorough and very professional, explaining procedures and ensuring I was as comfortable and pleased with the experience as possible. He also showed great enthusiasm for the design I requested. Would recommend Noah for work going forward.

I got my left inner arm done by Mike. He is a great artist and I appreciate him for making the tattoo comfortable since it was a long sitting time. I do suggest coming to this place!

I got a script tattoo with some shading as a walk in from Francis. Best tattoo experience hands down and my first tattoo in Jersey(not my first tattoo overall). Francis was gentle, sweet, patient and very professional! He walked me through what he was doing every step of the way from sketching things out, to placement and updating me while he was tattooing. I was working with limited time and he got it done in great time. Quality was also top tier! I’ll be returning to have him finish my neck!

Mike and the staff were awesome to work with!! Absolutely amazing realism portrait of my dog and the environment was so pleasant to be in. Would recommend this shop to EVERYONE!

Got my first professionally done tattoo by Zack today! Gotta say Im amazed and more then happy by the results. The shop is super laid back and the others are genuinely cool people even though I didnt get work done by them, the setting made me feel comfortable to be there. I just got tattooed here and had a great experience! Hands down one of the cutest and most comforting parlors you could ever imagine. Cami is an absolute gem! She’s both kind and super easy to talk too, which made me feel very relaxed during the whole process!! I felt comfortable that she knew exactly what she was doing and gave all of the proper aftercare tips once she was finished. Also great pricing!! I just got my first tattoo here and I loved it. The place is nice, very chill and not overwhelming. I felt very comfortable, Taylor checked up on me frequently to make sure I was doing good. Line work is amazing, shading looks really good, and I love the Roman Numerals. They turned out so amazing and I couldn’t be more happy. Overall, she did an amazing job with my tattoo and I will definitely be booking my future appointments with her and I really did enjoy coming here. :)

I highly recommend going to Royal Ink. Everyone is very friendly, and professional . Mike did my tattoo and he welcomed me right in and worked with me on getting a design drawn up the exact way i wanted it. He took pride in his work and made sure everything was perfect. Cami did my first ever tattoo and it was the best experience I could’ve asked for! I was very nervous but she took a lot of time with placement and size options and really made me feel comfortable and explained the pros and cons of each spot instead of just saying, my first choice looked good. She made me feel comfortable the whole time by keeping me distracted with movies and conversations. She took breaks when I needed them and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Her line work is absolutely beautiful and that’s what I choose to have done. I couldn’t have asked for it to turn out better, I will definitely be going back for my next tattoo!

Cami has done 6 of my tattoos and she is absolutely amazing and I will never go to anyone else! Her line work is super clean and she always gives her honest opinions. The shop is always clean and down to earth!

Tbh this is my most amazing tatt yet! The owner Mike is cool and easy going to talk too. And My tattoo artist Zack took such great care of me in my time of need! With no hesitant. He’s a talented artist especially with the shading and how light handed he is. He made something not hurt as bad as I thought. The lines are straight and perfect. He did a phenomenal job!! Definetly a cool clean environment with great vibes! The music wasn’t to to loud to where you cant hear what someone’s saying, it was just perfect. Also they had great stuff to watch on tv as well to take your mind off of the pain. Definetly will be back to get more ink next time i might bring my dad to get something as well.

Got my Tattoo done by Minh. Had a fantastic time and will be definitely come back to him for more ink in the future. His line work and shading at top notch. The experience that I had was just amazing. We had good conversation and we did the whole piece in one session. He was so dedicated to the piece from start to finish. I still cant believe we did this all in one go, it took about nine hours. I so happy on how this turned out and it looks amazing.

The shop is wonderful and very accommodating to the customer. I was tatooed by Okan. He did a fantastic job and I will post a pic when I take the wrap off. Their is a language barrier but he is very patient and kind. I will definitely be back!

Mike did an amazing job on my neck tattoo. Starting with the fine line detail and ending with the strong brilliant coloring. He is very personable, and his artwork is on point! Highly recommend!!!

I was recommended Royal Ink and Zack by a co-worker. It certainly did not disappoint. Very professional, very detail oriented when it came cleanliness. The tattoo came out beautifully. I love this shop! It is very clean and professional. I get my work done by Mike, his work is very clean, vibrant, and beautiful. He takes his time to make sure everything is perfect and exactly how you want it. My friend has also went to this shop, but got a tattoo done from an apprentice. The work done on her is also very clean and looks great. Only the best work here! I highly suggest making an appointment here and getting some great work done, you won’t regret it! I’ve been to two other shops for two of my other tattoos, both before I discovered royal ink, and they don’t compare at all to the quality of the ones I got done at royal ink. I get compliments on my tattoos all the time. I won’t go anywhere else for tattoos and neither should you. The artists working at royal ink truly have a special gift in tattooing!

Got this precious little thing the other day!! Taylor beautifully drew up and inked me! I gave her the basic concept idea of what I wanted and she brought it all to life! The shop itself has such great chill vibes and everyone there is so kind and welcoming. Taylor constantly made sure I was okay and comfortable. I truly cannot be happier about my piece. I’m looking forward to returning in a few weeks for my next tattoo and for my future tattoos as well!

I worked with Zack today on February 25th, 2024 and he provided and amazing first experience and outstanding work for my first tattoo ever which ended up being a half arm sleeve on the outside of my right forearm. Taylor was awesome! I called ahead to see availability for walkthroughs and got in touch with Taylor quickly and was able to get in same day. She gave me a good estimate on ideas, had them drawn up and printed in multiple sizes for when I arrived and they turned out great and touched up an older tattoo that she hadn’t originally done. Super sweet to talk to too especially for my sentimental reasons for one of my tats. Will go back for my next!!

Went to get 3 piercings, left nostril, septum, and navel. cami pierced me and did such a great job she did them super quick and they havent gotten infected. the environment there is so welcoming and just overall a great experience (the only reason my septum looks crooked is cause i broke my nose so its just my anatomy)

I came here a couple of months ago and Zack tatted me and 4 of my friends all in one sitting. It was small tatts, but he did such a good job. Last week I came to him with an idea that I been having for another tatt for a long time. The way brought my idea to life and executed it was just perfect. He is very professional, takes his time, makes you feel comfortable, and does not miss one detail. He is also not heavy handed, which I feel is very important. I am more than happy with how it came out. I wish I went to him for my all my tatts, but he has definitely gained a forever customer. If you come here book with Zack. Yesterday, I have gotten done a moth tattoo with, flowers and a crescent moon. I had Taylor do my tattoo, and she was amazing. She’s very polite, asks you if you’re doing okay during the session. Taylor really does focus on her designs, and makes you feel comfortable . I would definitely recommend her, and will make an appointment with her again in the future.

I came to Royal Ink after some of my friends and family had a great experience last year. I had a deeply personal cover up I needed done, and really preferred having a female artist do this particular piece. After looking at Taylors album of work, I knew she was the one to do it. She does a lot of work in various realms of geekdom that are relevant to me. Taylor was incredibly warm and understanding of the nature and need for my tattoo. They feel so personable, they had a cute receptionist dog and one of the workers kid there. Made me feel comfortable with my own 10 month old there. They were patient while I bled out lol and so professional. The piercer was efficient and my Medusa piercing looks great. I recommend them and may come again in the future.

Ive been coming here for the past 5 years. Mike is an amazing artist and does the best work that Ive ever seen during my time here in NJ. His prices are fair, he takes pride in his work, and his safety measures are incredible.!!YOU WONT REGRET COMING HERE!!They do piercings also - though Ive never got a piercing they seem to do a great job with getting you in and out within a reasonable time.

This was an excellent experience. I received a tattoo with cami and am very happy. She’s quite busy so i had to book time well in advance. Her work was reasonably priced and very willing to work with a conceptual design and create something that i love. One of the things that really impresses me is that this was the fastest healing tattoo that I’ve had. already planning to go back for further work

I waited a while to do this review because I was unsure of how I felt but now Im positive. My first visit to the shop was Friday the 13th tattoo event, I sat down with young woman who did 2 DC logo tattoos on me and they came out phenomenal... the coloring.. The ink and saturation was perfect.. that is the only reason this is getting even one star.. Not Mention you cant give any less.. Anyway my second visit and third visit were not so great.. My second visit was December 13th for my second round of Friday the 13th tattoos.. I got two separate tattoos one of soaring Birds which came out okay the other one was the silhouette of Stitch from Disney... I specifically asked if the coloring would be an issue for the outline that I decided to and I was told no.. that the color would be bright and vibrant. While I was getting the tattoo I mentioned to the artist that he had a super light hand which is not always a great thing in the tattoo world and it turned out not to be good at all. A week after my tattoo is done and healed I got out of the shower and look down and realize my entire tattoo is pretty much gone.. I contacted the business and was informed that they would touch it up but I had to wait two weeks make sure it was thoroughly healed.. I mentioned to I believe the owner is who I spoke to the situation and he said he would fix it personally.. I asked if they would add in the word Ohana under my Stitch as an inconvenience for having to come back and get re tattooed over something that was already pretty tender.. he told me he would talk to me about it when I arrived... So two weeks later December 27th I arrived and was informed that it was my fault that my tattoo did not take and it was my body rejecting ink.. I have well over 20 tattoos and have never rejected ink in my entire life.. Ive only had one ink issue and that was an allergic reaction so I know how that looks and feels and that was not the case.. I had to settle on getting a black outline instead of the blue and he touched it up.. I asked him about the Ohana that was on the tattoo list for Friday the 13th tattoos so it should have only been a $30 tattoo but he proceeded to tell me I would have to pay shop price which is $100 then he dropped it down to 60.. I proceeded to say thats unfair this is an inconvenience to me and you should be making up for one of your artists.. but he continued to blame me.. And me working in customer service for over 20 years know that is not how you treat a customer especially one you want to come back.. also especially one that brings you customers since I had four of my employees go there for tattoos... one of which had the same Artist as I did and she hates her tattoo for how thin he did his lines but she refuses to go to have it fixed because of my experience shes going to have it fixed elsewhere.. I honestly believe that they should have done it free of charge considering I dropped $60 the first visit and 70 the second visit they should have went to be above and beyond to not lose a customer and I wasnt asking for anything outrageous just a simple word in Black below a tattoo that they themselves should be fixing I was not dropping additional money on people that do not care about their customers and I will NEVER return there again due to the treatment .. Im sorry but Im a firm believer that you dont blame the customer I included pictures of my first two tattoos that were done phenomenally by the young lady who does the piercings there then I included the picture of my tattoo before the touch up and then the one after again if you dont care about your tattoos and you dont mind being treated like just a person in a chair then go here but if you care about the work done to your arms and your body and you respect yourself dont attend this tattoo shop that owner should have went above and beyond to make up for the mistake and not blaming me for what happened cuz I know my body and that was not a rejection that was a poorly done tattoo

Let me tell you about Cami, I was getting a matching tattoo on my ribcage. She made it as painless as possible. The work was phenomenal, and I could not recommend her more. Anybody in the area would be making a mistake not going to Cami to get any good work done. I would personally rate Cami 10/10.

When I decided to get a tattoo I started looking for places cause I wasnt really familiar with any studio or artist, so I found Royal Ink Tattoo and when I read all the good reviews I decided to give it a try. Mike was my tattoo artist and he was amazing, Im so in love with my tattoo and the details he made. He was so friendly and cool, I felt so confident with him. I also liked the studio, it was clean and nice arrangement. I recommend this place a 100%.

Took my son here after researching pretty much all of south jersey and it was the best decision I could have made. Cami and Mike really took the time to listen and design exactly what he had envisioned, and made sure he was 100% happy with it before starting. Cami did the tattooing and the end result was top notch. I really liked how they worked together and sounded ideas off of each other. It wasn’t about who’s ideas were “better” it was about getting the best result for the person getting the tattoo, which says a lot about their ethics. Went in and got 5 piercings in my ears as well as a lip piercing and Cami was awesome! She was so patient with me [Im so indecisive] and she helped me figure out the best placement for each piercing. Im normally crazy anxious, but everyone was relaxed and kind, which made this an easy and fun experience. If youve been wanting piercings, Id definitely recommend Cami!

My friends smiley ball came unscrewed and she needed help getting it back on. We walked into the store explained the situation and they were very understand about what happened. Their pricing was very generous. They were all very friendly and the piercer who screwed the ball back on was very talented. She even gave advice on future reference on how to keep the ball on, tighten it, and prevent it falling off again. She even said that if we had any other problems to come back and they would help us. I would recommend this place to anyone who has problems with their piercings.

Shop looked clean. I got a heart tattoo on my finger by Sean Hosier about 2 weeks ago and he did a bad job. As soon as he was done and had me look I immediately said it looks uneven and lopsided. He response was yeah finger tattoos are hard to do. I wish before he started he had let me know how he felt because I would have gone elsewhere. You shouldnt screw around with permanent ink if you are not 100% in your skills. Its just about fully healed and I hate it. He did offer to try to fix it by making it thicker but I didnt want a gaudy tattoo and I had lost all confidence. He also said because I was unhappy he would give me free touch ups if I wanted. I would have much prefered my money back for a bad job since I have to live with it forever.
