I brought my daughter to Benny for her first tattoo. I was very impressed by how clean the shop was and how meticulous Benny was in preparing everything for use in creating the tattoo. But the most amazing part of the experience was watching him work his artistic magic and create a beautiful tattoo. He is a talented artist who takes great pride in his work, and it shows. Add to that the fact that his prices are very reasonable and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Benny to anyone looking for a great tattoo experience!

I went to Benny for my leg sleeve. I am super picky with tattoo artists. He is by far the best I’ve ever been tattooed by. The shop is spotless and so clean. My first ever tattoo experience with Benny was great! Went to get my tattoo on 1/2/2023 accompanied by my mom, I wanted a tattoo with my grandma’s signature. I was very nervous as I mentioned it’s my first tattoo, but he was very patient, made me comfortable and even joked around with us, which helped calm my nerves. He took his time and designed exactly what I wanted. Benny made it worthwhile, creating a beautiful piece in memory of my grandma and explaining how to take care of a new tattoo. Best place to go if you’re looking to get your tattoo. The place is very pleasant, clean, has great music and great prices, highly recommend! Benny is a great guy my fiance got the beginning of a sleeve done last year by him. First part of the sleeve was two beautiful Lillys. Yesterday he got a gear clock done. Blends very nicely together. His work is fantastic; an amazing artist! Hes the best Ive seen with shading. His prices are great too. He worked with our schedule and got us in quickly. Very happy. Id give more than 5 stars if I could.10/10 would reccomend! Hes our tattoo guy for life!

We went to Benny’s for my 6-year old’s ear piercings. He was absolutely amazing, kind, and took his time to really make sure the piercings are positioned perfectly. I highly recommend him if you are thinking of getting your kids’ ears pierced by a professional.

I’ve been to Benny twice for piercings and he is wonderful. Shops clean and very welcoming, and Benny himself knows how to make you feel comfortable. His piercing solution has done wonders; it come in a 12 oz bottle and lasts about 4 or 5 months if you flush the piercing twice a day with it (Piercings look and feel great too) will definitely be back the next time I want a tattoo or piercing!

I completed my tattoo apprenticeship at Benny Binnu Tattoo and I had an incredible experience. Benny served as a great mentor. He helped me gain an abundance of knowledge and insight on the tattoo industry. Anyone who is taught by Benny will leave his place feeling extremely confident in their work. Benny was very knowledgeable with piercings. To make a long story short, my daughter replaced her nose ring with a hoop that was nearly impossible to get out. I took her back to Benny and he was able to remove the hoop within seconds and educate her on the best ring for her nose. Needless to say, he saved me a trip to the emergency room.

I’ve been looking for a new artist to start an ongoing relationship. I texted Benny to see if if he would take a walk in and he said come on in. I could go on and on about how great the experience was, but the heart of the matter is he is an amazing artist as well as an amazing person. Also he’s a handsome paisano 😉 Keeps a super clean shop and is really easy to talk to. Definitely going back because the old saying is true: tattoos are addictive 👍🏼 Especially when they’re done as well as he can do and his level of care while working. I went to Benny Binnu Tattoo to get my belly button and conch pierced. The shop was super clean and everyone was professional! Benny was amazing, the piercings were so quick that didn’t hurt at all! After both piercings were done, I did feel light headed but Benny made sure I was okay and stayed with me until it passed. This place is a complete scam. My friend went in for a belly button piercing and was charged $110 by the owner and he had the nerve to ask for a tip. He made her take cash out in the ATM and asked for her number (she is 19) and started texting her then asking her to write a review. Very unprofessional and creepy. The body shop in East Brunswick which is nearby only charges $15 for the same exact thing. I would never get anything done at this place and feel sorry for my friend who got scammed by this freak. If I could I would give 0 stars.

I recently visited Bennys shop to get a forearm sleeve done. I took roughly 4 hours, but this guys work is absolutely amazing. He takes value in his work and not only that but he knows the ins and outs of what its like when it comes to crafting masterpieces. His instagram has amazing work and I would definitely recommend him to anyone thats ever feeling skeptical about getting a tattoo. He does amazing work, he is honest, his pricing is honest as well. He even gave me a discount for something that was extremely expensive. For that, I say thank you and am forever grateful. But please go to him. He does wonders, let him work his magic and youll fall in love with your piece!

My daughter and I wanted to get pierced for spring break but wasn’t sure where to go since I didn’t have a great experience at the piercing parlor close to my house so I searched on google and found Benny. Based on all the positive reviews we decided to take the 30 min drive and try out the shop. Sooo glad we did. Everything went smoothly, he explained everything he was doing step by step, let us know exactly how to care for them, and even provided additional help through text afterwards to ensure we bought the correct cleaning products. Highly recommend and will be back for more.

Benny is AMAZING! My sister and I have both gone to him for matching tattoos and a couple others and he has done an incredible job every time. He is super patient, talented and a true artist. This was my first tattoo and he made me feel super comfortable. Hes also hilarious and makes the experience super fun. My experience here was fantastic! My partner and I went to get multiple piercings (I got 2 lobe piercings and an industrial, and my partner got an industrial) and we were able to get in the same day. Benny answered every question I had with patience and understanding, and he did an amazing job with each piercing. I’ll for sure be going back to him in the future!

Amazing work with friendly staff! I came in with a friend who was getting a tattoo done by Desteni (who also did an amazing job) and decided to get a daith piercing. Benny was super accommodating of me and all the other walk ins; the process was super smooth and pricing was fair. Came here yesterday to do my belly button piercing and I love it so much! The process was quick and easy. It was pretty painful for me at first but then the pain soon went away after a few hours. I love my new piercing!

Benny was so kind and reassuring esp as I was getting a nose piercing for the first time at his establishment. His employee was very sweet though, I regret not getting her name. He was very thorough and clean and consistent with the after care instructions. He was also very accommodating, I texted him and got the piercing done just 20 minutes later. My previous piercings were uneven or not placed correctly but with Benny’s professionalism and experience he knew what to do to correct them. The process was painless and quick. I was also impressed with his “teach-back” method. Benny wants to ensure that you caring for your piercings/tattoos, he will explain what you need to do to for proper healing and then ask you to repeat what he taught! Tracy is a fantastic artist. My best friend and I went in for a couple of small tattoos each. I have never had a tattoo done with such a light hand before. My second experience at Bennys tattoo shop was terrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I went in to have two tattoos done on each of my forearms, each one about the size of a 50 cent piece.Very very simple design, straight lines, blacked out.He wasnt there but his assistant was there, I spoke to her. She called him on the phone to discuss the two tattoos that I wanted, scheduling, and price.He was busy, which is understandable, he, himself is a very good tattoo artist! He did two sleeves for me which look fantastic! The assistant said she could do it. I questioned her regarding her skill and if she was sure she could do a good job. She re-called Benny and sent him pictures of the designs, and he co-signed her work, that she was competent and could do the job. This is his shop, and shes working under his name, so I figured he wouldnt say she was able to do the job/work, if she was not! To make a long story very short she completely F---ED UP both tattoos, Benny tried to fix the one, its been over two months later, its completely healed, and when you look at it it looks like its infected, but its not, its just how it was fixed and the way the ink looks. there was nothing he could do about the other one, not a straight line in it, the ink bled and where theyre supposed to be spaces there is not, where the lines are supposed to be an even thickness and symmetrical, others are thicker than some and this is a very simple design, a Celtic Shield knot. I took extremely good effort in keeping them clean and taking care of them in the healing process, hoping that that would help with the way that they looked. No such luck! People I know said that I should sue him for the money back, thats how they look.Benny himself is a great artist and a great tattooist, dont let anybody in that shop besides him do your work. And he never made this issue right, even though I have to wear this for the rest of my life. And Im giving it one star because I like Benny.

Tongue piercing awesome experience Feb 2, 2024, Friday evening!!! I am afraid of needles but I love piercings. Always wanted a tongue piercing. Finally manned up enough to tippy toe to this place and talk with Joseph. He said that his guidance will make sure I get a great experience and nothing will go wrong and it will look beautiful. He was so correct. He’s an expert on this. I didn’t get to suffer from the pain. It takes an element called “compassionate communication” for someone to go through a scary experience and still end up with a great memory and awesome results. I recommend him and this place for any scary piercings. Now after care, haha.

Benny is by far the place to go to for piercings or tattoos. I went to him at the last minute in the evening and he did a great job piercing my belly button. Im going back to get my tattoo done next...very clean and very nice guy.

I came here for a piercing because the lady who did all my piercings relocated to another location. Initially, when I went to get pricing, the owner was not at the shop. 1st issue: One of the employees gave him a call, and I was given a price. I was told to return when Benny was in to get my piercing done. The following week, I went in and got my piercing, which was a horrible experience, and the price drastically increased from the initial price that I was given the week prior. He didnt realize that I was the one his employee called him the week prior and gave me a price. 2nd issue is that he is not knowledgeable on what size post or gauge to use for certain piercings. Not to mention, the quality of his jewelry is not good. The size that he used was too small, and three weeks later, I had to come back because the piercing came out and would not heal. He was so rude, as if it was my fault. The jewelry was then changed again to another wrong gauge and post-size. I was charged the total price again when it wasnt my fault. This time, it was too big, and every time I cleaned it, the earring would constantly move back and forth once again, causing swelling and irritation and setting the healing process back once again. I didnt even go back. I finally found my piercer, and when she saw my piercing, she felt so bad that I had to go through that pain and experience. She also couldnt believe that my piercing was so irritated. She changed my piercing jewelry to the correct size and used quality jewelry. The next day, my piercing felt 1,000 percent better and started to heal. Thank God for her🙏🏾moral of the story do your research before any piercing

If its anyone I would reccomend it would be Benny. My girls and I decided to get a tattoo out of the blue, Benny took us in, everything went very smooth. My first tattoo and it went perfectly. Wouldnt change a thing about his work, honestly looking forward to getting many more. He is very talented.

First off, the palace was clean and conveniently located. Second, Benny was very attentive and skilled in piercing and tattoos. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get pierced or tattooed.

If only I could give minus stars… I called the shop to make an appointment, and asked if I could bring my own piercing. Benny said to bring it and he could see if he would be able to use it. When I arrived, he said that the piercing was not clean and I asked him to sterilize it for me to use. When he pierced my nose, he put my piercing in first and it didn’t sit right on my nose, so I asked him to use his own. He took my piercing out of the hole, and immediately started saying “you don’t listen to me” and “you don’t understand” in an obnoxious tone. He left me with a bloody, dripping nose and I was left holding a pool of my own blood while he answered a phone call in the middle of my service. Also, he did not mention anything about PAYING IN CASH ONLY. He has a ATM machine for those that don’t have cash. But no mention of this when we make an appointment. I felt cheated!! I will never go back here again and strongly recommend people to be careful while making their decision to go here. He has no concept of customer service and basic courtesy. Very disappointed!

I was nervous about getting a nipple piercing since they hurt the most and could cause infections. However, Benny Binnus piercing and tattoo made me feel safe knowing that the equipment was thoroughly cleaned; further, the appropriate products were recommended to me to ensure a healthy healing process. The environment was also very safe, so I could get the piercings with little issues. I recommend this tattoo shop if you want an affordable, safe, and clean piercing experience.

I ABSOLUTELY HATED THE ENERGY OF THIS PLACE. The tattoo artists have no idea of the pricing when asked for one. If you don’t have an idea, provide a range not point fingers at the owner saying “he does the pricing, not me”. When asked for an advice, they start pushing you to do what they want. Tracey, who works there since a year didn’t have an idea of what price ranges look like. Like of you don’t have an idea give an estimate price range, don’t dismiss the customer and yell. When a customer comes, they are ready for spend money but if you just make up prices, customers aren’t dumb that they won’t understand. They force their unwanted opinion on you. It was my first time with them but didn’t respect my presence. When I told them I want a finger tattoo and the one I had wasn’t done properly in the first place they started yelling in front of other customers that “NO MATTER WHAT ALL ARTISTS DO THEIR JOB RIGHT ITS NOT THE ARTIST, its YOU.” That attitude is not right if you have a business. No sense of customer service. Not to mention I had an appointment beforehand for a tattoo coverup and was told to come in and will be done how I want it yet I was still treated poorly. If you don’t have time, don’t yell and leave. Listen to what your customers want. They also just make up prices depending on their mood. They told me something else when I booked and something different when I went in person. DO NOT APPRECIATE THE ATTITUDE. :)

I came in with a random idea and a small picture done on someone finger and he took the idea and ran with it creating a massive shoulder piece that is just stunning. He is a true artist who took the time to find a unique and inspiring image and then made that image his own and brought it to life. His attention to detail is truly impeccable. What was estimated at 2.5 hours extended more because he made sure it was the best he could do. He puts his heart and soul into each and every piece of work.He also fixed up a wrist piece I had received previously and just took it to the next level with shading and detail work.I left the shop eager to go back for another piece in a more visible spot because his work just screams to be seen, but also you feel proud to wear and like it captured the essence behind why you wanted the piece done.Thank you Benny. Horrible experience. This company needs to get shut down asap. I would never go to him, and I should’ve done my research before I got my first nose piercing from him. One day my nose ring got stuck in my nose and he thought I was lying on how it got stuck in my nose. He kept assuming that I was trying to take out the nose ring when I told him multiple times that I blew my nose into a tissue and my nose piercing got stuck in my nose. I go back to him to get it fixed and he says that the service is $20 to take it out. Then he switches up and says it’s going to be free. The man that works there has no professionalism, and I told him to fix my nose ring and to pull it out for I can see my nose ring, this man pulled out my whole nose piercing OUT my nose and he said it was going to be painful. When he took me to the back of the shop to try to fix the situation he kept trying to call me a liar, and said I had an attitude. I didn’t have an attitude at all and was very respectful, when he took out my nose piercing I was really upset then he tried to charge me $70 for ‘service’, but if you are getting a nose piercing fixed it shouldn’t have to cost service. I went to his shop to fix the nose piercing, and he failed me. Now I have to wait for my healing process to get better, but please don’t go to him. You will regret it.

I visited the shop numerous times for different pieces. First visit was for reinvention of an super faded old tattoo and it came out beautiful. My second visit I cane with my town sisters and we all got matching tattoos. He is super friendly and gentle while doing his work. I recommend this location and his work to anyone interested in getting work done.

My boyfriend and I were in town for a week and we wanted to do some last minute flash pieces. We called ahead and Benny was able to fit us in on the same day. He was very personable, professional and worked with us to give us both pieces that we love. He was also open to work with you and what you want.

Benny was awesome!! I came in for a Friday the 13th deal last week and even though it was a smaller not as intricate piece, Benny still gave 100% of himself to that piece.
