Famous Street Tattoo

I wanted a very simple, fine line, outline of my cat. Zeus did an AMAZING job! Even though the design was simplistic in nature, he was still able to capture her likeness and personality perfectly. Fine line tattoos leave zero room for error and he absolutely nailed it! I just left a few hours ago and I’m already ready for him to do a second fine line of my dog. I would hurry and book before word gets out about how amazing his fine line work is!

I contacted Joey for help with getting my first tattoo. He was very helpful with scheduling and explaining the entire tattoo process. The piece turned out better than I ever expected. I would highly recommend Joey and the whole team to anyone.

I had Zeus Acosta do a cover up on my wrist. I can not tell you enough about this guy or this shop. Zeus did such a beautiful piece of art which I am so proud to show off. My husband had Melesio do two pieces on his hands and he loves them. They look beautiful These two guys are excellent in detail. We are definitely going back. I have a few others I would like to get. I’ve been talking about getting this specific tattoo for 4 years and have been actively stalking Famous Street South Elgin for just as long. After contacting Joey Sherman about it, he referred me to Zeus, who was able to fit me in quickly before I chickened out and changed my mind.Zeus is fantastically talented and has a calming presence. He was really able to capture my ideas, put it on paper, and add details I didn’t even think about. It was my first tattoo, so obviously I was nervous, but Zeus made me feel comfortable and welcomed. His attention to detail, shading, and line work is…*chefs kiss*The location is easy to get to, super clean, welcoming, and fun to be in. The man managing the front desk (I’m sorry I forgot his name😩) was easy to work with and communicate with. Best experience I could have asked for.

I appreciate that when I questioned him, he understood the answers and didnt become irritated and remained patient with me.He made jokes with me the entire time, which was incredibly helpful to me. We called Famous Street Tattoo and they told us to come on down. All the guys at the shop were super friendly and welcoming. I came in today for a walk in and got a tattoo by Zeus. He was very professional and was able to get me in right away. He did a phenomenal job creating the vision I had for my tattoo. He did great with the black shadework I wanted. I highly recommend him and his work! Will definitely go back in the future. If youre looking for a great tattoo go there and ask for him!

First of all the shop and the equipments were ultra clean. Also my tattoo was made by Kiddo. He said me that after 2-3 weeks your tattoo might have some gaps because of scabs. Come here and I will fix them. After a few weeks I went and he worked without any grumbling. Now I am totally happy with the work and with my tattoo. No displeasure, no discontent, no regret.

These guys were awesome!!! My son and nephew got tattoos for their 18th bdays and had a great experience. Zeus was so efficient and made sure the boys got exactly what they wanted. The owner and other artists working were very friendly and accommodating while we waited. The shop was super clean and inviting. We will be back!!

I worked with Alex recently for my first tattoo and it turned out perfect! He made the whole experience better than I could’ve hoped for. I was a bit anxious but he put me at ease and was great to talk and collaborate with throughout! Jake too! Excellent line work with the script I chose and it has healed nicely now! Kiddo did an amazing job! He was so down to Earth and had great conversations with him. His work is outstanding. I walked away extremely happy and in love with my new tattoo. He always worked with me and understood when I needed breaks due to my ADHD and all. very patient and works quickly.

Jesus was awesome! He drew a beautiful design, and it was exactly what I wanted. He kept me calm when I was nervous beforehand and had every tattoo artist in the store look at the stencil he placed before he tattooed it on me to make sure it was perfect. Overall the shop is very professional, and I would come back here in the future for sure.

I was referred to Zeus by my girlfriend. He did a tattoo for her which she absolutely loved. I went in today and he did two tattoos for me. Theyre the best tattoos I have. Ive been to many other places and Ive learned that you get what you pay for, that being said some places over charge and do poor quality work. Thats not the case with Famous Street and not the case with Zeus. I couldnt be happier with the work he did and I will definitely be going back to him for ALL my future ink work. Great staff! Super friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is super clean and organized. We were so lucky Jared accommodated us for a last minute Tat. We called for an appointment and he came in early! Fair pricing and I’m sure I’ll be back to see Jared, his work was great! I know it was a simple tattoo but it looks great, exactly what I asked.
