Old Wharf Tattoo

Genuinely love these guys! My friend recommended this place to me. Got my first tattoo here and ended up coming back for my second one as well! Planning on getting a third soon!!!I absolutely love the vibe of this place and all the artists are very friendly and helped me feel comfortable. 1000000/10 highly recommend :)

This is by far the best tattoo shop in the valley.Casey and Allen are extremely talented and just super awesome humans in general. Not only are they professional but they make it such a relaxing and fun experience every time. I highly recommend them for any of your tattoo ideas, and even if you’re not exactly sure what you want, they’re really helpful for finalizing any design you may have.If I could give a 6 star review, I would.

Great shop in the middle of town in Staunton! Awesome vibes, clean shop, cool people - Kari was easy to work with and is super talented, friendly and chill. On top of that, the quality of the tattoo is great and is healing perfectly. Id happily go back for more work with any of the artists without hesitation

My first time there was awesome! I was tattooed by the owner - Alan, maybe? I came in for some line work. He was quick and fairly priced. Will definitely be returning and recommending friends/family. The shop’s atmosphere is chill and the music is 👌🏾.

Excellent work. Since moving to Staunton I had been looking for a tattoo place to get new work done. Went to get a small piece done to try Old Wharf out. Sean started a black walnut shell for me, and then Allen finished it up another day with leaves and branches. Both Sean and Allen are talented with their line work and shading, and I will definitely be returning to them for more and larger artwork. Rock on, guys!

I had the pleasure of having Allen do my latest tattoo during their last walk-in Saturday. He was honest, polite, and friendly and made sure to honor my wishes while making sure I would have artwork that I would be happy with for many years to come. I would highly recommend Allen and his shop!

Got a decently size tattoo done here yesterday. Everything about this place was great: cleanliness, line work, pricing, etc. Owner was very nice and talkative. I hope to stick with this place for years to come.

Got my my first tattoo from them it was an awesome experience! Other than me having real low pain tolerance and about to cry towards the back and lol 😅😆. Shaun was awesome! Couldnt finish because of finance but looking forward to having it finished and getting my second tat from them! Cool people, awesome vibe!

I came in today with an idea and Allen made the artwork a reality. I’ve had several pieces of artwork done over the years and from my experience, this shop is top notch. Their space is clean, it’s open, and it’s an inviting and relaxed atmosphere. I took a hiatus from getting tattoos while in school and now that I’m finished and have a little more time to spare, I couldn’t have come to a better place for such a positive experience. I’m so excited to be a local, because I’ll definitely be coming back for more artwork! Thanks for such a extraordinary piece of art! I’ll post some pictures once it’s all healed up!

I walked in today for street shop Saturday, and thankfully got Allen as my artist. It was my first tattoo, and I was admittedly nervous. Allen was thorough and explained everything he was doing. In the first couple minutes, I started feeling like I was going to pass out. Allen was so calm, and quick to act. He helped bring me back to earth, got me a glucose tab, and some water and helped me pat the sweat off my forehead. He gave me the time I needed to recover, and was so patient. Everything after that was a breeze and the tattoo turned out perfect! The shop was clean and had an awesome atmosphere.

Shawn Casey is amazing.. we walked in ,he drew up our tattoos and bam n love. Amazing shop very interesting.. cant wait to come back to Virginia 4 the hiking & new tattoos.. highly recommend. ❤🤘🤘🤘🤘

Today was the first time Ive gotten tattoos at this location and Sean killed it. Ive been to several tattoo studios over the years, but I have never felt more comfortable than I did today. I cannot overstate how much of an incredible experience I had and will absolutely be back for future tattoos.

My wife and daughters got matching tattoos here and raved about the experience, so I decided to try it out myself and they were right on point about this place. Great service, clean shop, and wonderful work on the design I picked out for myself. The pricing was more than fair which made it an even better experience for me. Will definitely be going back for more work.

Sean did an awesome job on my arm. He was able to fit me in last minute and helped me figure out exactly what I wanted! It turned out even better than I was imagining! He was also very kind, gentle, and easy to talk to. The shop was spotless and cozy. I definitely will be going back and recommending this place to everyone I know.

Called on a whim to see of they could work me in for a last minute walk-in. They were able to accommodate me immediately. The artist was fantastic with working with me to mix my original idea with some of his own ideas to make an absolutely beautiful tattoo. The shop was clean, and he checked in often to ensure I was doing okay. I most certainly have found my new tattoo shop. Thank you!

These guys are just great! We came in with basic ideas and Allen turned them into extraordinary pieces of art! The shop is clean and open, the staff is friendly, pricing was more than fair... I just can’t say enough good things about the positive experience we had! I wish Old Wharf years and years of prosperous business! I know I’ll think of them first when it’s time for my next tattoo (sorry, Allen, it probably won’t be Taz)!

This has been my regular shop for over a year now and Im suprised Im just now writing about it! Ive had the pleasure of working with Allen and Sean for some pretty amazing pieces. I highly recommend coming here and giving it a shot, especially just taking a glance around the shop there are too many ideas and not enough hours in the day!

This shop is our go to for my wife and myself. The shop has a great vibe and cool decor. The artist/staff are very friendly/professional. They offer in-depth answers/info on not only the process of building your ideal tattoo but also the aftercare procedures. If its your first tattoo or 100th feel free to ask questions cause these guys not only rock out great work at amazingly competitive prices, but make sure the customers questions are answered in detail.

I came in on sat at 12 and by 1:30 they had my tattoo done. They were quick,very clean, and made sure I was comfortable the whole way through. Very informative about care as well as what was going to happen. Even gave me some candy to help my blood sugar when I had forgotten to eat that morning. 10/10 will be getting another from them.

Super friendly! I came in with my brother as a walk in tattoo. I showed them an old tattoo of mine I wanted covered up and they told me they wanted to fix it for me. It came out great and I love it. Super clean, professional, and nice. Will definitely be back in the future!

Me and my fiancé went in really not knowing exactly what we wanted and they were absolutely dope. I gave Allen a concept of what I wanted and he gave me the sickest tattoo, above and beyond what I thought I wanted. Chill environment and just cool a** people.

Such a terrible business! The other low reviews have the same response from the business owner which is them not taking accountability for their actions! They blame the customer and deny any fault on their behalf for the unpleasant experience. You’ve also left bad reviews on my business page without having ever placed an order. You’ve built quite the reputation for yourself bad mouthing the locals in the community and more people are going to catch on to it. Run far far away from this place.

Im from out of state and I went here with my cousin and got matching tattoos. These guys were awesome and cool to hang out while getting tatted. Shop is super clean, and of course they both did AMAZING on our tattoos! Would recommend everyone to go to them!

My fiancé and I came in, going for some Friday the 13th ink, and were met with incredible staff. They were so helpful and understanding with their service, and their work. Astounding tattooing, and people! Absolutely recommend this place for appointments or walk ins, GREAT PEOPLE!

First, the artist’s don’t have enough experience combined or solo to ask for those prices. Second when I walked in one of the artist started making ignorant statements about a subject that he had no idea about. So he lost over 1600 dollars worth of work for his business I had 10 tattoos in mind. He personally attacked my character over a subject he knew nothing about. This is the kinda of ignorance we can’t put up with it is white people like this that keep stereotypes alive. A terrible!!!!!!!! not professional business
