Recently started a back piece with Sung. An amazing experience from walking into the shop and leaving. Sung always makes me feel comfortable during the sessions, is understandable about breaks, and overall very creative with his designs and suggestions. I recently had a tattoo consultation with Sung at unbreakable tattoo and he was a total pleasure to work with. The studio is clean and beautiful, which made me feel at ease as an anxious person. After seeing Sung’s work on instagram (@sunsong_unbreakable) and on my friends, I decided to go to him for my first tattoo! Sung is an amazing artist! I told him what I had in mind for my tattoo and he was able to translate them into the design and colors that capture my stories. I ended up asking him to tattoo a second one on the fly and I was not disappointed! I left his shop with two beautiful tattoos which I have received many compliments for!On top of being an amazing artist, Sung is also very patient and kind making my experience super easy and relaxing! It’s been almost three years since I started working with Sung Song at Unbreakable, and I am glad for the experience and the work I’ve received there.The deceptively small storefront hides a relaxed and large space with doors to each station if privacy is your concern. While I personally sought out Sung for his work, I have not seen anything short of top quality work come from any of the other artists Mr. Song has chosen to be a part of his team, especially the traditional works of Horisuzu upstairs and the finely detailed works of Roman next door. I have personally been getting tattoos for over 20 years, and I can tell you cleanliness and professionalism are taken VERY SERIOUSLY at this shop. Sung has been very easy to work with and hang with throughout this whole process from consult to completion. You’ll usually find yourself diving into whatever podcast or concept you want to discuss, personally I enjoyed hearing his perspective growing up in LA and his experiences there. So for anybody’s first or 50th tattoo, do not miss your opportunity to collect a piece from an LA legend.

Had a consultation with the artist Shawn McClendon left a deposit and waited over a year for my appointment that was supposed to be a gift from my fiancé he was confused about this even though I spoke in person with him and he traced the area and talked over designs, a week before My long awaited appointment he refused to work with me for no reason besides communication misunderstanding. I felt I was treated poorly and as a client willing to spend any amount of money for the tattoo I had dreamed of he wasn’t able of providing good service, a design or even attempt to try to work with me, as an artist myself I look down on this type of service and behavior no matter how talented the artist, SO DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS ARTIST AS HE WONT TAKE YOUR TIME SERIOUSLY, HUGE THUMBS DOWN TO THIS GUY

Sung is a great artist who gives quality work and did a large cover up that I have been trying to get rid of for a long time worth every penny
