Northern Hills Tattoo & Piercing

Riding a motorcycle into downtown Sturgis and getting a new tattoo from a super rad artists (Casey Lee) was a cool bucket list item checked off the list. My tattoo was music oriented and she totally fit the bill as we are both fans of the same band and grew up listening to them. My wife booked an appointment the next day and got a super rad tattoo as well. It’s great to support local artist and a genuinely good person!Thanks Casey for being part of our wonderful vacation!!! We are very happy with our new location in Sturgis SD! This is a combination shop including artwork from Kevin Powers, Tim Atwell, Myia Atwell and Denice Powers!

I went here to get my tongue and my boyfriend’s nose pierced. Our piercer was Denice! We went in and came out with exactly what we wanted and more. The jewelry selection is the best out of the best quality. I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else but here. If you want a safe piercing & one you know is going to be high quality (as you should have), go here! Denice is by far the best piercer I’ve ever met. She makes you feel safe and comfortable. She guides you through the process and you can tell she cares so much. Denice has continually checked up on me and helped me at all times. Definitely go check the shop out 🙌

Kevin is an awesome artist! He is my go to for all my tattoos! He listens to what you are looking for and some how just makes it a reality! Denice. WOW, just wow, she is an excellent piercer! She knows her craft inside and out. She takes the time to explain everything that is going to happen and how to take care of it afterwards. So upfront and honest about what your anatomy will allow. I had wanted a triple helix, but unfortunately my ears just would not accommodate it. She offered other options and explained why they would work better. I have also seen her with younger kids, and again WOW! She will speak to them as to what they want and how they feel about it in a way that seems to just put them at ease! 189% recommend this place!

I come and see Denice all the time for piercings. She has an amazing sense of humor never fails to make me laugh, I love all of my pieces and her jewlery selection is just gorgeous.I also highly recommend Kevin, his works are always amazing. He is a very high quality artist, and he keeps his work clean.These two are an amazing addition to the Sturgis scene, and I will always make sure to stop by when I need some ink or piercings!

I had this shop recomended to my by areally close friend and ! wont goanywhere else for my piercings. Denicewas amazing. At the time she also hadan apprentice with her and she took theextra time to not only explain to mewhat was going on and what shethought would work best with my earanatomy but she was VERY thoroughwith her apprenticel! It was a very cleanenvironment and ! left feeling confidentin what ! got not only because of thepiercing but also because of the qualityof the Jewlery she has in the shop!!
