Got my second Tattoo (first with imperial) done with Sean, was an amazing experience. Missed my initial appointment time but Sean still was cool enough to go ahead with my tattoo. Beyond satisfied with the result and will definitely be coming back to get more tats done with Sean and Imperial Tattoo!

I recently had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from Anthony at Imperial Tattoo Company, and I can’t recommend them highly enough! From the moment I reached out for a consultation, Anthony was responsive and attentive. He took the time to understand my ideas and offered valuable input to enhance the design. I appreciated his willingness to collaborate, making sure that the tattoo would be both personal and visually stunning. During the design phase, Anthony showcased his artistic skills by providing multiple drafts and iterations based on my feedback. His attention to detail and creativity truly stood out. I felt confident that my vision was in capable hands. Imperial Tattoo Company has a welcoming and clean atmosphere. The shop itself is well-organized, with a clear commitment to hygiene and safety. I noticed all the equipment was sterilized, and the workspace was immaculate, which made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Love Kendall!!!!! She is thoughtful and I value her opinion. She has completed five piercings for me that I love. She recently pierced my daughters eyebrow and helped my daughter understand the suitable placement of her piercing. As a parent I appreciated Kendall talking to my daughter and getting her feedback which is more important than mine since it was not my face.

Imperial is great. Tony, the regular artist I go to, is extremely professional. He is amazing when it comes to saturation, so if you’re looking to get a blackout tattoo, he is the man. The entire staff is friendly and helpful, so I highly recommend this place!

Anthony is such a great artist. He very attentive to detail and definitely made sure I was okay throughout our session! I am in love with my piece and will definitely recommend him to friends and family 🙂

I had to write this review as soon as I got out of my appointment! I was so nervous about getting my septum I couldn’t even write with a pen without shaking haha, but Kendall was so sweet and so funny!! She made me feel so comfortable and explained her entire piercing process. She was so lovely to work with, I’ll definitely come here again to get another piercing in the future!!

Kendall is absolutely amazing. She was very honest about what piercings she thought were best for my ear shape. She was great helping me pick the jewelry as well. The entire experience was great especially since I’m visiting from out of state.

I accidentally called Imperial Tattoo, thinking that is where I took my daughter for her ear piercings. Turns out they were one of two places I considered but I had gone elsewhere in the end (we are new to the area). When my daughter had issues several months after her piercings and I was looking for advice I called Imperial thinking thats where we had ended up. They could not find her records so knew she had not been there for her original piercings but still took the time to give feedback based on several phone conversations and pictures. I very much appreciated their professionalism and customer service even though we were not actually paying customers. Their goal was to help my daughter regardless. Very professional and caring.

This shop is absolutely AMAZING! Clean shop, friendly and funny staff (shoutout Jeff) and an overall great time. Sabrina is my artist I frequent and she is an abssolute gem of a human. So sweet and does the best every damn time!!

I got my first tattoo today by Sean. It was a great experience. He let me take a break anytime I need to and was super professional. The studio is a good vibe. Will definitely be back for my next, and will for sure be having Sean do it! Highly recommend going here for your tattoo needs!

I just had an incredible experience here. Kendall is such an amazing piercer with excellent bedside manners. I got two piercings in an intimate area and she was so caring, educational, and relatable. What she doesn’t know is that I drove over an hour to get here and it was worth the trip and every penny. Thank you Kendall!!

I’ve gotten most of my piercings here and they’ve all been great! kendall has always been such a calm presence throughout the process (which in turn keeps me calm) and is always willing to work with whatever your budget and anatomy allows! the shop is always clean and everybody is always respectful! i’m sure there are other shops i could have an equally great experience at, but i really don’t care to find out because all of my experiences here have been that good and i’ve regretted it every time i tried somewhere else anyways.

I had a hard time entering the store because the attitude of the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and disrespectful. After I was going to purchase my piercing, I wanted to use the restroom, and she bluntly told me I couldn’t, expressing doubt about my wearing the piercing. She avoided providing reasonable service by saying the restroom wasn’t open to customers, expecting me to spend more money or get a tattoo instead. I received a service that shows no regard for basic human needs and common courtesy. I definitely do not recommend this place.

I got my first tattoo today by Sean Menogan who was not only an extremeley talented artist but also very kind, attentive and patient. He was very easy to work with in coming up with the design and very thoughtful in adjusting to my requests. He made it a very pleasant experience constantly checking in and trying to accommodate if I needed anything. He was also great in educating about how to care for my new tattoo since I have never had one before. I would highly recommend Sean and will be sure to go back for more.

The guy at the front is very rude very non accommodating , I forgot my dl and my friend was getting it for me .. because of the 15 minute delay he wanted to keep my 50 dollar deposit where as my time was 11-12.30 and at 11.20 he was being so dramatic that I would lose my deposit .. my friend was on the way with my dl and the tattoo artist said she would need only 30 min on the tattoo so we would still finish before 12.30 .. but no ! Sir wanted to eat the 50 bucks up ! And so rude ! The tattoo artist was embarrassed herself !I didn’t give my business to him and walked outIn response to ur reply -My email after paying deposit clearly said 11 to 12.30 and my tattoo even after the delay would have been done within the time frame as ur tattoo artist clearly said it wil take 30 min , ppl make mistakes they forget . We are human . Even after my delay of 7 min which means I arrived at 11.07 and the discussion and with my friend getting it yes we would have started at 11.40 or 11.45 and I would have still been done by 12-15 which is 15 min before the time allotted ! All of this since u wanted specifications but all you wanted was make me let go of the 50 deposit and pay an extra 50 ! Clearly fleecing ppl off and ruining my first time tattoo experience , there was no need to take an extra 50 ,, my email stated 11- to 12:30 was my allotted slotThe problem is instead of having good customer service u had very bad customer service so I took that business somewhere else

Amazing I got my nose pierce by Rae back in march I was a walk in and she was available yay for me she explain everything and why she does her technique, She was so knowledgeable which maded me comfortable I wasnt sure about the placement of my piercing she explain the positions and I was ready to go. If you going to get any piercing done just do it. I love my ring Thank you Rae. Ill be back to change out my jewelry real soon.

This was my first tattoo. Sean did a great job walking me through everything. He made sure that I liked the position of the tattoo and made me comfortable throughout the whole process. He was light handed and it did not hurt.

I had an amazing experience at this location. Everyone from the front desk to the tattoo artist I had was absolutely outstanding. The shop was clean, music was on point and it was a very chill atmosphere.My artist was Anthony and his work caught my eye when I was looking to get some work done. He is clean, professional, knowledgeable and just all around one of the more fun tattoo experiences I’ve had over the years. I can’t wait to go back for more work!

Had the strangest experience to say the least walked in the door, politely asked the guy working to look at a tattoo I need to have redone and go over very small one on the inside of my finger.. He began saying that that’s not the best place for one and we did not do that here… Then I finally asked OK what would the price be if I wanted to get it redone he told me and then I left knowing that this is not the place I want to give my business to because of the insinuations and the lack of professionalism I received right when I walked in the door.

I got pierced by Rae and they were absolutely amazing. I was incredibly nervous about piercings and they explained everything step by step even when it didn’t have anything to do w the actual act of piercing — like they explained the sanitizing machine and answered all my questions and was just an awesome piercer!! thank you, rae!!

I got a helix piercing a couple days ago done by Kendal and she is the absolute best!! I walked in really nervous but she calmed me down and made me feel so much better! She explained everything that she was going to do and the process was so quick and didn’t hurt at all! She also explained that after care very well! I’m definitely going back soon!!

Getting a tattoo since moving to Texas a couple of years ago has been on my to-do list. The obvious direction is to go downtown into the city to find talented artists. Im so glad theres a small gem close by here in Sugar Land. So far Ive had 3 visits, one with Ian and 2 with Sarah. Both artists were great and their specialized, unique craft is undeniably beautiful. The staff is very welcoming and the shop is super clean. Supporting local fellow artists is my passion, thank you to Imperial Tattoo Company for such great experiences!

I recently had two tattoos done at Imperial Tattoo in Sugarland, Texas. The services, tattoos and shop were amazing!Jeff took my initial call and answered my many questions. His customer service skills are great and very welcoming.Sophia did my actual tattoos and she was great! She was very detailed oriented and patient with me.The shop is not a typical tattoo shop and is set up more like a business office. Each tattoo artist has their own section which provides nice privacy to their clients.Overall, my experience here was phenomenal. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo!

They answered all of my questions, and there was a lot.They were patient and understanding ,and they even took the time to explain the proper piercings for me that would match with the anatomy of my body.Plus each tattoo they make is unique to you.100% recommend !!

I first came to here in 2016 the shop was small with a few chairs and stations. Imperial has definitely come a long way, when I came in again in 2020 I was amazed by how much bigger the place is and how private the stations are now. Jon is my go to artist I love everything he does! He’s great and funny and super professional. He’s also very patient with you especially with me on my last tattoo on my sternum. I was so struggling through that one but he understood. He has almost his whole body tattooed so that way he can understand his clients and the pain levels in different areas. This tattoo studio is hands down the best and worth the drive from college station 👍🏽

I had a great first experience! It is very clean, the vibe is very chill, the employees are very interactive with their clients. My tattoo artist, Ian always checked in on me just to make sure I was comfortable! And what I admire is the family energy the artists have with each other! Just made the experience ten times better. I most definitely will be back to add more pieces to my body!

Amazing service! I was a little early to my appointment, and I was immediately welcomed. Mr Jeff was super kind and gave me a consultation as well as examples for each piercing. I was able to get a couple of cool and unique piercings by Ms. Kendall and she made sure I felt comfortable and I felt nearly no pain!

I had an amazing experience with Sean! This was my first ever tattoo so I was obviously a bit nervous, Sean was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the scheduling and design phase as well as the actual session. He made me feel very comfortable with the changes I wanted to make with his design and was a very calm presence throughout the session. He created a beautiful stencil and the final product was better than I could’ve imagined. I will certainly come back to Sean for any future tattoos!

Aaron Bates did a great job on my wifes tattoo. As always the folks at Imperial were very accommodating and cool the whole time. Almost everyone in my family has got a tattoo from Imperial. I would highly reccomend them to all!

I accidentally yanked out my nose piercing this morning and had to hurry up to Imperial Tattoo to get help put it back in. Kendall was amazing, provided feedback on the purchase of a new piece of jewelry and was great in explaining step by step what was going to happen as she helped me change out the jewelry. Great service and great folks!

I had my septum pierced, all in all a great experience. The gal who did my piercing was lovely and had a great bedside manner. The procedure itself was as quick and as painless as a piercing can possibly be. Will definitely come back!

I got my septum pierced here by Mason a little while back, and had a really good experience. Mason did a flawless job on my piercing which I’ve since stretched to a 12 g with literally no pain or discomfort whatsoever. I was really concerned before I got it done that it would look funny because I have a slightly crooked nose, but the piercing was done at just the right angle to compensate for the crooked-ness :-) another thing is I have pretty bad anxiety in general and was shaking really bad the entire time he pierced me and the piercing still came out perfect.

PSA: birth certificate is required. My 17 yo daughter purchased a replacement stud for her nose piercing and they offered to help her put it in. She elected to try putting it in herself, but she wasnt able to so she went back to have them do it. They told her at this second visit that she would have to have a parent there to provide permission. She called us to let us know, and her Dad drove over to provide the required permissions. When he got there, staff told him that he could be the cool uncle, so they needed a birth certificate to prove he was her father. I understand rules are rules, my issue is if they would have told her the first time that she would need a parent and a birth certificate, then this would have been taken care of at her second visit instead of wasting her time and my husbands time. All they were going to do is to put the stud in, the piercing was already there, so they were literally putting the stud through the hole that was already in her nose. I didnt have to have a birth certificate to get the piercing originally (not done at this place), I just signed a paper stating I was her parent and provided my DL. When I called Imperial to let them know that they should have told my daughter the first time that she would need a parent and birth certificate, the girl that does the piercing was very professional and apologetic. The owner also called me, but he tried saying that my daughter chose not to hear the part about the birth certificate. I am not one to jump to my childrens defense in these types of situations, but she is very detail oriented when it comes to her Dad having to drive somewhere for her. There is no way she would not have told him about the birth certificate. When I relayed the conversation to my husband, he also agreed that there was no way that she had been told that. This may have been just an off day for Imperial with poor communication, but be aware that you will need to bring a birth certificate with you, and hopefully avoid the inconvenience that we went through today.

This is my second time being tattooed at Imperial, I will definitely be back. The work and artistry is phenomenal.

Have gotten 3 tattoos at Imperial (so far) and every experience was awesome! Great and friendly staff, super talented artists and extremely clean. Cant recommend them higher! Ill certainly be back. :)

I had a problem with Anthony doing my tattoo. Info below. Tony, the owner, fixed it for me. He was professional and his work is very good. The shop is extraordinarily clean and all the staff members are professional. Tony cares that his customers have a good experience.With that said, it doesn’t change my initial experience.I cannot recommend Anthony at this shop. My consultation, though I gave many emails with exact instructions on line execution, was disregarded and he did not prepare for my tattoo at all. I was greeted as another customer and with another person’s design. My design was not executed properly, the line work was bad, my tattoo looked sloppy, and Tony offered to correct the work.

Got my nose pierced by kendall and was literally shocked at how painless it was- its clear that shes very experienced and has been doing this a long time. I literally could not believe it when she told me it was over and she did it so well it hurt less than my second lobe piercings that I had gotten done at another piercing shop. I think i literally hugged her bc I was so shocked at how painless it was and how quick it was over, and i literally trust her w my life now lolol. It also has been healing beautifully w/ no problems and with minimal aftercare (got it pierced 3 weeks ago and it already feels fully healed- ik its not so will not be changing jewelry but the healing has just gone SO WELL). 10000% recommend for anyone that wants to take the piercing plunge but has been too scared.

Clean shop with a great staff! Been coming here for years and love the entire staff! Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel comfortable while waiting to get a tattoo or piercing.Geoff at the front counter is always helpful and patient while explaining things to new clients to make sure they get the best experience possible.Kendall is the most gentle piercer I’ve visited at any shop. I’ve had bad experiences at a place closer to my house and will gladly make the drive just to see her. Just visited two days ago and am ready for more piercings from her.Tony, Jon and Aaron keep the mood light with their banter. They help you feel more like you’re hanging out with friends while you’re getting tattooed than most other shops do. Amazing experience! Hands down the best tattoo parlor iv ever been to. The staff was all extremely nice, friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. The place is super clean. I loved how they handled everything. I got 3 piercings from Kendall. Shes amazing! She did a great job and they were essentially painless. Shes the only person I want piercing me from now on. And when I decide I want another tattoo ill be coming here as well!

I’m updating my experience, this was a graduation gift. My first tattoo matching with my sister. We got a simple adoption symbol but the lines are totally uneven, get thick in certain areas and the arches on the heart just looks flat when not extended. My sisters is the same way. Dude just wanted the money. I’d get it covered up if it wasn’t matching.I got a piercing here like 4 years ago, healed well and looks great. That’s the only thing saving this review

Came in to the shop today and was instantly greeted by friendly staff. I was introduced to Mason (piercer) who began to explain to process. He was very friendly and professional. What I liked most was his knowledge on different types of jewelry and the pros and cons of each type regarding the healing process. He was very professional and did an amazing job. I would highly recommend visiting this shop. Amazing and friendly staff.

Kendall did a fabulous job on my second nostril piercing. She matched it up with my current one and it was WAY painless than my first at another shop. The ring is fitted perfectly too.The shop is clean, maybe a little more price wise but i do believe you get what you pay for. I inquired about appointments and got a quick response, custom jewelry and a clean shop. They’re worth paying a little more for.Shop does require a mask so if you’re not for that…

Very nice people who work here. They ensured that I was comfortable while getting my tattoo. Talked me through the process from beginning to end. This place was really clean and in a very good location.

We took our daughter to get her nose pierced and she was a little nervous, even when she was begging for it. I must say the people there were very friendly and didnt make us feel awkward like other places when you first walk in. The person who pierced my daughters nose was super friendly and made sure my daughter felt comfortable. I recommend this place 👌 She hasnt had a problem with her piercing. Nice clean place and friendly people.

I went to get my nose pierced today and the experience was quick and GREAT! I was really nervous about the pain, but Kristina was very calming. She is very good at what she does and is SUPER nice too! I highly recommend this place for piercings (because I have not had a tattoo experience yet). The prices are not ridiculous for the great service you will receive, I promise. The people are all super friendly there and youll definitely leave feeling like you made more friends. Had to get my septum back in since it fell out, turns out my last place put it in wrong. Thankfully this place was helpful and gentle and let me know what was wrong. 10/10 would come again

I call and ask if they have numbing cream. He says yes. I get all the way over there for him to sell me spray that WASNT the same.Said he could smell my “dank” all the way from the back and all I could think is “had you gotten tf up TEN MINUTES AGO when I asked for you; I’d be gone dummy”Actin like he scolding me—are we doin buisness or not old man😂 I’m not gonna debate with you🤣Overall: very PG tattoo studio for a place that’s meant for adults and merch was overpriced. Wasn’t impressed 🥱 Owner definitely LIED about his merchandise over the phone just to be get a sale for that day bc that place was DEAD inside and clearly needed some sort of sale. Wouldn’t waste the money on this rookie shop🚮

I’ve been a patron of Imperial Tattoo Company since 2016 for piercings and had our first not perfect experience this past week.First and foremost, book your appointment! This 4 star review is just that. 4 stars- Kendall is friendly, knowledgeable and has an amazing skill set. The facility is immaculately cleaned.Then check their website for policies when you book- you will only be told by phone to bring a state ID and not told to check the website for their actual policies. The phone screening for appointments is disappointing and they will enforce policies they do not inform you about and ruin your day. If the person who took my appointment had informed on policies they would have gotten $250 more from us, instead we took our business elsewhere for those piercings.While I respect the policy of requesting a birth certificate with the reasoning of “making sure the parent with custody beings their minor in” it’s extremely flawed logic. A parent can not have custody and be on the birth certificate, a parent could have kidnapped their child and is on the run, A birth certificate copy could be forged. Just like saying “bring a state ID” applies to minors over 15, so why would I bring a copy of a birth certificate if we brought the only thing I was informed of? I highly suggest requiring the notarized letter the state mentions on their website if your true concern is a minor getting an ear lobe piercing without parent consent.Will that stop me from going back to Kendall for my next planned piercings? Nope. I’ll be going back within a month.Will this stop me from recommending Imperial Tattoo? Nope. The artists are very highly recommended in Richmond.Just do your homework so you don’t waste your time (or Kendall’s).

She was kind and walked me through everything step by step!!The tattoo that Aaron did for me is gorgeous! Everything I wanted!And you cant forget about Geoff! Went to this shop for the first time last month and would definitely recommend it. Well maintained, clean place. Everyone I encountered was friendly. It was my first time ever working with Jon as my artist but I cant compliment him enough. He was very chill and down to earth, but still totally professional. You can tell he has a true passion for his work, and he is an insanely talented artist. Cant wait to go back.

I went in today to get a piercing and was so happy with my experience! They were extremely thorough with cleaning and took all the proper precautions for Covid prevention. Amazing! This shop is nicely designed, the tattoo chairs or cushy and comfy, all the staff are super nice and chill and the place is A+ clean. While I was there I overheard, I guess it was the manager, doing a cleanliness check. He was confirming that all the dusting/sweeping/cleaning had been done. My artist was Aaron Bates and he is one impressive tattoo artist. This was my second tattoo and he made it officially my first HIGH QUALITY tattoo, my first one looks like garbage in comparison to Aarons great work. Hes fast and his lines, details and shading are perfect. It looks like actual airbrushed artwork...Hes good. And if you cant handle pain dont worry because hes very entertaining and it helps distract your attention away from the needle. Hes also really generous. I had a budget and he worked with me and gave me WAAAAYYY more than I was expecting. In my opinion hes a quality artist thats going to do a high quality job regardless of your budget. I rate this shop an A+ on every level

Im currently on my 10 minute rest/ break as I am getting my mermaid tattoo done by Aaron Bates. So awesome!! Very relaxing atmosphere, very clean, sanitized and safe. I will be returning for my next tattoos very soon!!

I came in for a consultation to tell him what I wanted, then made an appointment to get it done that week. He was very nice, helpful, & allowed me to tweak it as many times as needed at the appointment before doing it. The assistants are wonderful, gave me all the info I needed & called to remind me of the consultantion & appointment. Clean & comfortable facility. Definitely recommend the shop!November 2021: I contacted Scott about doing another tattoo, this time a handwriting piece on my arm above the elbow. He got me on the calendar, I actually had to reschedule but they quickly got me another appointment for the same day & time another week. The first pictures are from the night I got it, the other one is a month after getting it (and 2 weeks after getting a slight touch-up). He copied my friend’s handwriting precisely via stencil & it turned out beautifully. I was a bit picky about the placement, but he was patient & helpful, replacing the stencil 3 times until we got it exactly where I wanted. Grateful for the trustworthiness, organization, cleanliness, & expertise at Imperial.November 2022: Back for more! Scott crushed it again with my sparrow & olive branch. I emailed him some photo references & a description of what I wanted, we booked it, & I am extremely pleased with his design & execution. It was a great experience & further confirmation that Imperial & Scott are the best!

I had a pretty awful experience at another tattoo shop getting a piercing. My piercings were incredibly off center, I was in unbelievable amounts of pain, and something felt very wrong about the entire experience. I came to Imperial Tattoo Company hoping to meet a reputable piercer who could tell me what to do and I met Mason. He told me my jewelry was externally thredded, so incredibly painful and basically shredded my piercing and he said he would help me take them out and happily repierce me in the future. I am not going to lie, getting them taken out was absolutely awful, but I know Mason was as gentle and nice as possible. He and all the staff I met: Mason, Ian and Jeff, were incredibly nice and helpful people. I will absolutely not go anywhere else for piercing help again. Thanks Mason!!!

Ive been wanting a single forward helix for awhile now and my hubs and I were in the area so I decided to look up places to get it at. I am so happy this just so happen to be the closest place Google brought us to. Kendall was the sweetest and so informative. She talked me through everything single thing she was doing and really put my mind at ease. Great great job! Yall have a great place here! Even the guy at the counter (never caught his name, sorry) was nice and chatted with us while we waited. Love that were was never an awkward silence and it was really a welcoming atmosphere, which is sadly not common at most tattoo shops. Thanks again! Yall were awesome! Keep up the great work!

I took my 9 yo daughter to Imperial Tattoo today to get her ears pierced. I was blown away with how professional everyone was. Kendall pierced my daughters ears and made her feel so at ease. Before arriving my daughter was wanting to back out, but Kendall really has an amazing way of taking to little ones that make them feel at ease.Im giving 5 stars ONLY because I cant give more.Great job Imperial Tattoo!!

Anyone who is looking at the reviews for this shop, should take mine into consideration. Good ink. Good energy. Good people. Booking an appointment is necessary. They get a lot of customers. Those awards all over their wall were definitely earned. I was lucky to get work done today after booking an appointment two days ago. They remembered who I was and what I wanted as soon as I arrived. Even though my ink request was simple, the artist was very attentive to what I wanted for now and what I want to add to it later on. I noticed that all of the artist that were present, remained focused on their client. None of them stopped to look at their phone, unlike so many other tattoo artist in other shops. After my arm was wrapped up, they explained to me in detail how to take care of my tattoo. They also had aftercare products available for a cheap price. They werent greedy at all. Even after they explained to me how to take care of my tattoo, they still gave me a card with the specific aftercare Instructions. I could tell that they did not want me to make any mistakes. I really appreciate that. I recommend Imperial tattoo company to anyone wanting to get a nice tattoo in a clean environment. They really know what they are doing. 5 stars guys. I will be back for more ink therapy.

The services were adequate, the only reason why they were given 2 stars was that I believed I was overcharged for the services. I had to pay $20 each for the changing of jewelry and I brought expensive jewelry from their shop to exchange my current jewelry with. They even had the audacity to take a picture of my ear (without asking for my permission) for free publicity. Every shop is entailed to set their own prices and if customer doesnt agree they should take their business elsewhere. However, I felt that this was obscene, esp. considering other shops changed jewelry for free or complimentary with the purchase of jewelry. They could have cleaned the area, so the $20 charge couldve seemed worthwhile, but they didnt even do that.

I came here to get my ears re-pierced. Kendall was great and she spent enough time in explaining the process and knew exactly what she had to do. She was very careful and helped me chose titanium earrings which I am hoping will behave on my sensitive ears. Very friendly and great service.

If you are questioning getting a piercing here, please read.Mason, the piercer at Imperial Tattoo Company, is not just a phenomenal human being, but an outstanding piercer. Insanely knowledgeable on sizes, jewelry, healing time, and allowing the client to be absolutely autonomous throughout the whole process while answering all of their questions perfectly. Several of my experiences with tattoos and piercings have involved artists being very intimidating, irritated with my indecisiveness and unhelpful with my nerves. Mason went at my pace. We set up a consultation on May 28th, a slow day for him to mark up my ears, get to know me holistically and give suggestions on piercings that would look great with my face, skin color, hair color, tones and other piercings. You can see in the photo how thorough he was, how many amazing ideas he had and how excited he is to be apart of my piercing journey. He took my feelings, my budget, my preferences and my nerves into full consideration and built the most beautiful diamond of piercings I have ever had. On the day of the piercing, I told him I was nervous and he proceeded to reassure me, tell me if I wasnt nervous that would be weird, and validate that I would be okay. I know everyone doesnt need that, but as someone trusting another person to put a hole in my body, it was the most beautiful, kind and comforting thing he could have possibly said. The piercing, healed, INCREDIBLY well and fast. I followed his exact method and have NEVER had better results with a piercing in my life. He pierced the vertical stack on June 18th, and he FOLLOWED UP WITH ME, MULTIPLE times, to check on the healing process and see them in person before piercing the horizontal set. The photo posted is from July 18th, the same day he pierced the horizontal green studs. His support is phenomenal. I brought my sister in for a piercing removal from an extremely bad shop on 59 and he was able to mirror her energy, be what she needed and secure her for something incredibly painful. I have never felt so confident about a piercers abilities. If he moves, I will be traveling WHEREVER he goes to get my piercings ONLY from Mason, and I think you are not only in for a piercing experience, but an incredible human interaction as well.Mason, youre amazing. This review is in reference to my Polynesian tattoo done by Scott. This is my first Tattoo and I had a lot of anxiety. He was very patient throughout the process and made sure that my tattoo reflected what I had in mind. I had two sessions and it was wonderful experience. The facility was very clean, all workers were very courteous and social distancing, mask and cleaning hands were all mandatory. Will return again 👍 Thanks Scott!

I took my 9 year old daughter in to get her ears pierced. From the minute we walked in, everyone was so friendly and really soothed my daughters nerves. The paperwork was a breeze and the two great women that did the actual piercing were amazing. They walked her though each step and ultimately, there weren’t even tears. From start to finish, this was a great experience. I’m so glad we let the professionals handle it and didn’t try to take her to a random store at the mall!

Went in for a big piece and an 8 hour session with Aaron. This place I would highly recommend. Clean, friendly, and very professional. I loved that the music wasn’t blaring like most shops also. Aaron is an immaculate artist and goofy which did help make me feel comfortable. I will be returning for any future tattoos! Thank you guys!

I visited Imperial Tattoo Company in March to get my newest tattoo, some handwriting on my foot. Being new to the area, I was worried I wouldnt be able to find a great place to get tattoos where I felt comfortable and welcome. Imperial Tattoo offered both of those. They were thorough in explaining their policies and prices prior to getting the tattoo, and the shop itself is clean and inviting. I had the pleasure of working with Aaron who was fantastic and professional! My tattoo healed beautifully and quickly and I was provided with excellent instructions on how to keep it clean for best healing. I will recommend Imperial Tattoo to anyone who lives in Sugar Land or any surrounding areas (I live in Houston and believe its worth the drive!).

Hats off to Imperial Tattoo! I came in with hopes of receiving tragus piercings. This was my second attempt at the piercings. The first attempt, NOT pierced by Imperial Tattoo, resulted in having to remove the piercing due to complications. Geoff and Kendall were very helpful and honest about my request, which I truly appreciate. I ended up just getting one tragus piercing, with the hopes of returning later to get the other. Kendall was extremely comforting ensuring that I was in good hands. And I was! From start to finish it was a great experience. So much so that my daughter asked to receive her first cartilage pierce from Kendall as well. We are both very pleased with our piercings. Cleanliness, great customer service, professionalism, and compassion will produce returning customers every time. Great job, Imperial Tattoo.

Got piercings done by Kendall and the experience was perfect from start to finish. With a crisp aesthetic, the space is welcoming but professional.Kendall was everything a first time piercee could hope for. Knowledgeable, empathetic, patient, and experienced, she took all the anxiety out of the procedure and I left with perfect piercings.Perfect piercings and none of the looming concern or remorse that for me often accompany major and permanent choices.I cannot underestimate how rare this is and what that says about Kendall. They were quick to answer my scheduling request for a piercing. I came in earlier than scheduled fully prepared to wait for my scheduled time but was quickly accommodated and taken care of. Tony was so sweet and great through the entire process! He emailed me back fast and you can tell he puts his heart in the artwork. Sabrina did my wife’s freckles and eyeliner and it looks stunning! We will be coming back to this shop for sure.

Got my first ear piercing from Kendal and the overall experience was smooth. Kendal was very nice, and knew what she was doing. Every step of the procedure was professional according to the research I had done before I went. One thing I was worried about was that she was not wearing any gloves, as should all piercers do. Just make sure you do your research and if you something they are not doing right tell them.

Love Jeff and adore Kendall. My piercing was virtually painless! The last tattoo shop ripped I’ll me off big time and I appreciate that Imperial Tattoo Company did not burn me due to my lack of knowledge with pricing. Jeff was a plethora of information and educated me on a lot of things that I would have never known about. I’ll be coming back to their place of business as soon as I possibly can. I highly recommend going here for your first or fiftieth tattoo or piercing. I wish there were more stars!

I went to have my nose re-pierced and my first experience was awful. Extremely painful a lot of blood...etc. Not this time! Im sorry I forgot her name but she has beautiful red hair.. she is a Piercing Goddess!! In detail she explained the whole process, the what, how, when everything! I anticipated alot pain based on my 1st experience, it was so not the same thing. This was like getting my ears pierced and mine were pierced b4 they used the gun. I cant explain the difference in experience enough, it was like night and day! I have already recommended Imperial Tattoo to 1 person that wants a piercing and 3 people who want tattoos. Thanks guys, love your professionalism and your art work. If I ever get the nerve to get a tattoo Im coming back.

TLDR: Imperial Tattoo is awesome, and Aaron is an amazing tattoo artist.Went Saturday to get my tattoo done with Aaron. Was easy to find, and had a fantastic atmosphere. All the employees I spoke to were extremely friendly and made sure that any questions I had were answered fully. I felt comfortable from start to finish, and the work that Aaron did was outstanding! My tattoo turned out even better than I was expecting!! Pricing was very affordable, and the aftercare products are as well! I would highly recommend Imperial Tattoo Company to anyone looking for some ink!!

I had a really good experience getting my first set of tattoos here! Although I made things a little complicated my artist, Aaron, was pretty patient with me haha. Hes a really chill dude and gave me exactly what I wanted! Im not sure if they carry saniderm or other tattoo wraps but they do offer some aftercare alternatives in the front. Overall positive experience and I would consider coming back.

Absolutely my favorite tattoo shop in the area, if not Texas. I’m a tattoo collector and these guys do it right from bell to bell. There was never a moment from the time I walked in to the time I walked out that I didn’t feel that everyone that worked there was confident, knowledgeable and beyond capable of handling my needs. This type of art is permanent and I’m glad these cats are out here setting an example. Seriously, beyond impressed.

I’ve gotten piercings by Kendall all came out great! Sabrina did microblading brows on me I know after the healing process they will look great! I like this tattoo place everyone is nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The people and the artists at Imperial are fantastic. Their process to get an appointment is challenging. And frustrating. They had done three tattoos for me previously and I am very happy with them. Tried to get one today and once again their process to schedule an appointment was so difficult I just decided to find another shop with a more customer friendly process.

Ive got one piece done by Aaron, and another by Tony. These guys are top-notch artists, and friendly at all times. My tattoos are now about 2 years old, and I still get compliments on the color and quality of both pieces. As for the shop, Ive never been in other shops, but Ive been in both locations run by Tony. No worries there. He runs a tight ship; clean and sterile in every way.

I went in for my third earlobe piercing. My pierced was Julie and she was the sweetest piercer ever. She made me feel so comfortable and safe. I highly recommend coming to this place to get your piercing!!

Imperial Tattoo Company has some amazing tattoo artists. If you want a vibrantly colored tattoo that, generally, is likely to hold up over the years, Imperial can do that for you. A couple of the amazing artists weve experienced here are Scott and Aaron. Our household has had 3 tattoos done here, and additionally, we have experience with other tattoo companies and artists in the Houston and San Antonio area. Therefore, consider this an informed review and please read on for the major caveats that you need to be aware of prior to doing business with Imperial Tattoo Company.1) Imperial Tattoo Company has some great artists. I reiterate this. I am personally pleased with the work Scott did for me.2) I made an appointment for two things a) a touch-up of my first tattoo from Scott and b) to get another tattoo by Scott. The shop has a 72-hour policy for cancelling an appointment. I was 100% aware of this. Unfortunately, upon visiting a doctor 3 days prior to my appointment, my doctor sent me for an EMERGENCY ultrasound for a potentially life-threatening issue. On the way to get the EMERGENCY ultrasound, I telephoned the tattoo shop (this would be just over 72 hours from my appointment time), and made my cancellation verbally. The lady who answered the phone said I would have to email my cancellation. I explained I was driving an automobile en route to an EMERGENCY ultrasound and unable to access email. The following morning, I sent an email to confirm my cancellation. I received a patronizing email back from the shop manager, Tony Wayne stating that since I didnt inform them in writing 72 hours before, that I would forfeit my deposit. Note that my desire was to RESCHEDULE the appointment, not cancel it, and at no point was I asking to retain my deposit. I explicitly asked if I could simply put the deposit forward for a future appointment, which was denied.3) I spoke with the OWNER of the shop by phone, who strongly backed up manager Tony Waynes position that I hadnt followed their policies.4) My final conversation was with Tony once again, where I conceded that my $50 deposit was a lost cause, and that I would need to put another deposit once I was medically cleared to have a new tattoo.5) I reiterated the importance of this visit, because my first tattoo with them had color bleed out of it and needs touching up. Both Wayne and Scott assured me that this was no big deal and I agreed to the touch-up fee, and was also ready to pay for another full new tattoo in the same visit.6) When the time came (medical clearance) for me to reschedule my appointment, I communicated with the artist Scott via the shop website. We communicated a few times to find a good date and set the date. When it came time to confirm a date and make a deposit, Scott went silent. The next email I got was again from manager Tony Wayne, informing me that since my wife had made a negative comment about their shop on a private neighborhood Facebook page, that we would no longer be able to do business with Imperial Tattoo Company. Thats right. He refused to make the appointment, not even to repair the work done by Scott that we had established months earlier needed touching up.Again, we werent even asking for deposit money back, simply to put it forward toward the next appointment, for which we were happy to pay an additional $50 deposit. Nonetheless, manager Tony Wayne has not only refused new business, but is not allowing his artist Scott to complete touch-up work on the tattoo he already did for me at Imperial. In other words, hes refusing to warranty his shops work, despite the artists willingness to do so. At this point, this is all I ask. I would happily delete or update my review should manager Tony Wayne follow up and simply allow Scott to make good on his work, and I will pay the appropriate fees.

I came here on Friday morning and was able to set up an appointment for the same day with Aaron. He asked me to email him the picture, so by the time I showed up for my appointment, he was ready to go.He was very personable and fun to talk to, especially when I told him I was nervous. All the guys at the front were also nice and easy to talk to as well. The whole process from start to finish was easy and there were no issues.I would definitely recommend them!

Best in Houston. Aaron did a phenomenal job updating and added to my tribal that I had on my left arm. He was flexible and added some great insight to make it pop and truly be slick and the lining is very precise. I highly recommend this spot and they have a phenomenal staff with great expertise and very welcoming.

I had a piece in mind and was recommended to the artist Anthony. I had a picture saved since 2018 and Anthony brought it to life. Amazing artistry and skills, professional, and thorough. Everyone was super nice. 10/10 recommend this company, and specifically Anthony. Especially if you have a dark theme 😈

I got my ear lobes pierced by Kendall. They were my first piercings and she made the process quick and easy! She came off as very knowledgeable and friendly which was very appreciated for my first experience. I would definitely recommend this store and Kendall!

DO NOT SEE KENDALL FOR PIERCINGS!! She totally botched my piercings by putting the wrong sizes in. I waited a bit to see if the swelling would go down but my ear was so hot & swollen that it started to swallow the piercings! When I stopped by on Saturday to have her fix it, low and behold theyre closed (I was NOT going to wait until Wednesday). Luckily with a quick Google search, I found Virtue tattoo (HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Tim is thorough and knowledgeable and does not BS you), who thank God took them out (it was not pretty) and put in the correct size jewelry. Now Ive got to correct the mess of these errors that Kendall created and mad that I threw that money down the drain by some amateur who couldnt even recognize something as simple as putting in correct jewelry. Sure one can see her giving piercings but anyone knows that you need to put in a longer post to account for swelling. But BE WARNED!! She DOESNT have the knowledge to recognize the follow-up procedures. Theyre WAY TOO SMALL!! I should have said something when she was practically pinching my ear when previously my other piercings never have gone through that. I sincerely hope that Imperial will take this review to have Kendall further trained for proper steps in the future & prevent this from ever happening to anyone.PS-whoever responds to this, please refrain from being rude. Ive seen how the responses been from previous low star reviews and its a poor reflection on your professionalism and overall perception towards your business. I am ashamed that Ive ever recommended anyone to this establishment, considering that amongst many I am NOT the only one whos encountered the hell Kendall has done to their ears. I went here In January and got my first tattoo, done by Aaron, and I am absolutely in love with it. I get complements on it every time its visible. All of the staff here is amazing and there all so helpful when I went in I was very confused on exactly how I wanted the tattoo, but they helped me and figured it out. I will be coming back soon to get my next one, I will be asking for Aaron just because how happy I am with the first one.

Came a few months ago to get my second piercing for my birthday. They were SO nice and completely informative on the exact process. My piercer told me everything she was going to do and made sure I was comfortable. They even gave me a little birthday gift!! 5/5 great place with awesome people.

Jon West gave me my first tattoo and was patient, thorough, and took his time, even though it was a tiny tattoo. His station was clean, He explained every step, and was friendly yet professional.Not to mention the line work on the tattoo is flawless. People keep asking me if the tattoo was printed on.My experience was amazing, and Id recommend Imperial Tattoo Company to anyone.

Tony is great, he got me in on last Friday at noon even though the shop isnt supposed to open until one. Hes precise and it is clear that he takes pride in his work. Unlike some artist who seem burnt out and just want to get you in and out he takes his time with you. My new tattoo is perfect and am in absolutely in love with it. Its always up to you on the aftercare. They sterilize everything twice even though the state requires the needles to be sterilized once.

Christain did very nice lettering on my left shoulder when I went in for my first tattoo. He was very friendly and professional! I have gotten so many compliments on my tattoo saying how “Elegant” and “Tasteful” it looks! I highly recommend Imperial Tattoo, the equipment was sterile and the environment around us was VERY clean!

Great shop, VERY talented artists, got two pieces done by Tony a while back and never left a review so Im doing it now. Great atmosphere great customer service which is huge for me, the only trouble I had was trying not to move while laughing my a-- off when the short dude working up front complained his legs were sore to which my artist replied what, was it a long walk back from Mordor? 😂 I was literally shaking laughing still cracks me up to this day.I live in Austin now and let me tell you, I miss this shops quality, friendliness and above all their PRICES. Tony Wayne is a local legend and he nailed the tribute for my dad, and I even had to make a last minute change to his drawing which most artists hate but he rolled with it and it came out amazing.

After a bad reaction from a piercing at claire’s finally healed, i went here to get my ear RE-re-pierced, and it healed super well! it’s been about 10 months now and my sensitive as heck ears are doing fine and not itchy/infected. they gave me very helpful tips and a pamphlet on aftercare and were very friendly. i’m definitely going back because i want more piercings!! :)

Prior to piercing my nose, I researched tattoo parlors in my area. I chose to go to Imperial because all of their reviews were great. They lived up to their reputation. The establishment was emaculate, the staff was very kind & informative of the process, & my nose piercing was perfectly done without any complications.I highly recommend Imperial Tattoo!

We came in to get a tattoo or talk to a tattoo artist about the design we wanted. The guy at the counter said what we wanted was too small for enough detail but gave us the card of the artist that would be best to deal with. We were too impatient and went somewhere else but Imperial was a nice location, had great work photographed, looked very clean and the guy was as friendly and as helpful as he needed to be.

Liked the place-clean and the people were nice. However, I went to my piercer twice and he said the two bubbles behind my ear were okay and that theyll go away (behind the piercings). I went to get my 2nd earing holes done for my up coming wedding and i had read online that it was better to get it done by a piercer than with the gun. That article was very correct. I got my nipples pierced a few days ago, and Kendall (the piercer) was amazing! She talked me through every step and answered every one of my million questions. I was super nervous and she calmed me down and made me comfortable throughout the whole process!

Been going to Imperial Tattoo for 5 years for my ink. Most of it done by Tony Waynr, but all the artists are excellent. Realism, new school, watercolor, or geometric there is a talented artist for you. Shop is super clean. Never disappointed.

Awful for piercings. Went in to get a simple Tragus and rook jewelry change. Paid about $50 total plus tip. Tragus went smoothly. Kendall took about 10 min trying to remove the rook piercing then realized you simply needed to pull instead of twist. By this point my perching was bleeding and irritated. When she tried to put the new rook piercing in it was extremely painful and she couldn’t figure out how to get it in. At this point I was in tears and asked her to stop. This is a piercing I’ve had for over a year and just wanted new jewelry but instead ended up leaving with one less piercing. I asked for a refund being that I paid to get the jewelry changed and that never happened but she said that wasn’t possible. Which is the main reason for this review. Super disappointed by this entire experience. There was no attempt on her part to rectify the situation.

Kendall did an amazing job, it was my first time getting a piercing and she made me quite comfortable, calmed my nerves, and explained everything clearly, about pain and cleaning and shes great conversationalist. as I cover my hair for religious reasons they have a separate room for piercing so ladies could take thier hijaabs off to get a piercing.

Love this place!! Always have very talented artist and clean shop. I wish I would have came here to get my first tattoo went to a different place and later found out that the guy that gave me my tattoo was not even an artist. However they fixed it up and late last year I came back to get another tat done along with my belly button done. Actually hoping I can get two more this weekend if I can get an appointment.

Got my nose pierced at imperial last week. Kendall was soooo good at what she does. i couldnt believe it when she told me i am done. i did not feel anything. she has a way of distracting you from experiencing any pain. i will recommend imperial to anybody that is looking for a place to a painless piercing place. they are so clean and all procedure well explained.......

Ive been going to Tony Wayne for a little over 5 years and hes completed my sleeve freehand and several other amazing pieces. Every shop (3 locations) are clean and sterile. The other artists who work here are nice and very good too. Ive sat for hours at a time and you should really check out their work! Each has their own style. I always ask Tony if he can or would like to do something Im interested in... hes never told me no yet lol back peice in progress now. For piercings, dont go here. I have never had infections before but I have constantly had issues with my piercing since day 1, before piercing I told Jesus I have a severe nickel allergy so he said dont worry surgical steel doesnt have nickel in it. I got it done and was wondering why it was constantly inflamed and painful, well I did my research and he should have used pure gold or titanium NOT SS because I had a nickel allergy. Finally after 8 months I switched it out and am no longer experiencing pain. He needs an education and to be more informed on what he is piercing people with.

So I got a tattoo when I was 18 then had it covered up 10 years later, then tried to have it removed with laser tattoo removal last year needless to say I had a huge scar after all of this!!!! I started researching who is the best cover up tattoo artist and I found Tony! I told Tony over and over again please dont use too much black ink because my previous tattoo was so dark (Im African American) and he said ok. He designed something especially for me and the I kept reminding him dont make it dark!! Im sure I got on his nerves! When my tattoo was finished it was spectacular! He used blues, reds and greens the only black part was the dancer in the middle because it is a silhouette! I never knew I could have a colorful tattoo on my skin color!! I said this was my last tattoo but Im going to go back to him for one more! Thanks Tony!

For my first tattoo, Imperial Tattoo Company did quotation marks on my wrists.After a week, I could see quite a bit of skin in the quotation marks on my left wrist & a lot smaller amount in those on the right wrist. The outlines of the tattoos were wonky with ink going outside the lines on the circles & the stems of the marks. The circles of the quotation marks on the left wrist are bigger than the circles on the right wrist. Also, one stem is thinner than the other stem on both wrists. I went into the shop 2 or 3 weeks after I got the tattoos & asked to speak with Cristyan about the tattoos. Cristyan was busy doing a tattoo so Geoff asked if he could help. I pointed out the things I saw wrong with the tattoos & he gave me the spill about how they may have looked fully saturated to the artist while being done but the healing would reveal more. Since it was healing, it could be seen easier if any touch-ups would be needed. He mentioned how the skin taking the ink & healing time varied among individuals. I then reiterated & pointed out the line issues and the sizes of the circles being different (one side bigger than the other). He said that it would be no problem to touch-up the tattoo & fill in the circle where you can see the skin. I mentioned the sizing too, & he said yes regarding that too. I asked if there was a fee, & he said no & that they would take care of it. He told me to come back after about 2 weeks since I still had silver skin. I asked if it mattered if it takes longer to go away (concerned on if I could still get the free touch-up after the 2 weeks), & he told me no. He said he was the manager, gave me his card, & told me to talk to him if I have any issues.I was in touch with him a few times after that to keep him up-to-date on the silver skin still being there & even emailed so there could be written documentation of me speaking with him. I only talked to him from that point forward since he was the person I spoke with about the issues & was the manager. I went in today to have Geoff look & confirm that silver skin was gone. He wasnt there but another guy & Tony spoke with me. There were no notes of Geoff ever talking with me. I was asked when was the last time I spoke with him, & I told all of the times. They called him & he remembered talking to me but not saying no fee for the touch-up. I repeated that I will just talk to Geoff, but Tony said he was Geoffs boss. He kept repeating how the policy I signed states the fee for the touch-up and how Geoff couldnt have told me that. I repeated that he did tell me that. I realized that they were going to be dirty about it, so I told him that I will just pay someone else to fix the tattoos but wont be paying them. Tony kept running his mouth as if I didnt just make my exit statement & caused me to really yell & go off about it. Tony gave very poor customer service. His goal wasnt to resolve the issue but defend the touch-up not being free. He never asked to see the tattoos to see what was going on with them. He came in on the tail end of a conversation & tried to flex his owner muscle after I said I will just speak with Geoff. He told me that I wasnt going to be yelling at him in his shop after he incited the anger/yelling from his poor customer service. After I called back & mentioned him watching the shops video of my conversation with Geoff & asked for a copy of the policy I signed, he stated that only the artist could say a touch-up is free after previously saying touch-ups arent free (hmm...interesting). I then told him that Cristyan was busy, which is why I spoke with Geoff who is the manager. A person would think a manager could make that call too but obviously this business doesnt operate like any normal business. It was a lot more to this, like Tonys oral pop quiz to try to discredit my aftercare, but I will let the non-free touchup tattoos speak for themselves in the images (study them closely).*Follow up: Ignore the comment from owner. Tony didnt try to resolve the issue and refused to apologize for his poor customer service.

I have had work done here and so has my boyfriend and brother. The shop is clean and they go above the required measures for cleanliness and sterilization. The staff is funny and easy to be around and the prices are good. I always refer people when they ask where Ive gotten my work.
