Emphasis Tattoo

Finally found my Go-to Tattoo shop. Great music, great people, and even better artist.The shop itself is pretty nice, super spacious with dope art on the wall. You get a feel as if you’re more less hanging out rather than a client.Was able to meet some of the artists as we were just floating around, everyone there is super cool, professional & humble.My artist is Adrian, @drian_tattooart. The guy is freaking incredible, and reasonably priced. But be sure to check out Emphasis’s website to see some serious talent by their artists.I’d urge anyone to come and check this place out, even if you had a simple idea or whatever. This was totally worth $150+tip!! We were so happy walking out of here. Just be aware if you’re getting a small tattoo, the store minimum is $150, but Adrian’s work is more than worth it. He’s super friendly, very patient and helpful during consultation with suggestions and listening to you. He really cared about getting the design and placement just the way you want it. No pressure to make a decision, didn’t feel rushed or like you’re just a check to him. We had great conversation and some music to listen to. Wish the DJ wasn’t out though! Sounds like it’s a lot of fun with everyone in there and music bumping.Thank you so much, Adrian!

Jade did an Amazing job from start to finish, she was patient, took time to answer all my questions & concerns, went at my pace, made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, where I wanted, the size I wanted, etc. Didnt feel a thing, so light handed and it turned out Beautiful!!! Jorge was patient, knowledgeable and talented. He answered every question we had and helped my husband decide on his final design. He had a very light touch and was not painful. My husband is very happy with it and needed minimal healing time.

Yasmany did an amazing job on my tattoo! i sat for almost 6 hours for this cover up on a tattoo on my foot i hated for almost 7 years & he definitely killed this beautiful piece of work! i will be going back for him to do more work on me wenever i get a chance. traveled an hour & half just to get this done & i couldnt be happier! best tattoo work hands down! highly recommend this shop! best in Tampa 10/10!!

Had the pleasure of having Jorge Lienz work his magic on a leg piece for me and it easily became my favorite piece I own. He is down-to-Earth, polite, and personable. He did my piece short-notice and was very accommodating and listened to everything I wanted. The shop itself has a nice personal & peaceful atmosphere. I recently got my first tattoo from GABY here and I couldnt be happier with the experience! From the moment I walked into the studio, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The space is clean, stylish, and really sets the tone for a top-notch tattoo experience.GABY is not only incredibly talented but also super patient and attentive. I had a rough idea of what I wanted and she helped refine my concept. The tattooing process was smooth and professional and GABY ensured I was comfortable throughout and also provided excellent aftercare instructions, which I appreciated.

Would give this place more than 5 stars if I could.Brenden just did my whole outer sleeve and will be completing the whole inner part of my arm as well.Have other tattoos from other artists and Brenden’s work is by far the best.Wouldn’t go to another artist for any future work in Tampa, highly highly recommend

Lienztattos was great he created my own design and everything he has a very good hand and treated me great. My aunt was with me had well and he made both of us feel at home. Definitely recommend for u guys to come 10 out of 10 will definitely come back to him!!

So happy to have found my new tattoo artist after mine had moved to Pensacola. Jade did an INCREDIBLE job!!! I couldn’t be happier with the work she did, so freaking talented. I had the best experience at Emphasis Tattoo. Booking/picking my artist online helped a ton. I was able to communicate exactly what I wanted and have all my questions answered before I even got there.From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable. I came alone and brought my snacks (lol). I chose Yasmany for this beautiful memorial piece honoring my sister who passed last year. My experience with Jaiden was amazing. She explained everything thoroughly. The initial tattoo was going to be on my forearm but we decided the size of the tattoo needed to on larger part of my body (of which I chose my chest). I have not had a tattoo in years and knew there would be some pain but not joking I didn’t experience any pain. She was patient, funny, and had me so comfortable I was actually falling asleep lol. The tattoo turned out amazing and I will be back for sure. The most important part also is the location is spotless and clean. That is also an important part of going somewhere and seeing how they take care of their business. Thank you again for making the experience effortless and amazing.

We took our daughter here for her first tattoo , battling her epilepsy she’s had some struggles , and wanted to have her first piece of artwork about her fight against it, after looking online we found that Jade would be perfect for her artist and it turned out to be true! She’s does amazing work and was very easy going and took some of the nervousness away , we couldn’t be happier with the service , hospitality (she had her friends by her side lol) and honest pricing for the quality of work, of course Davy made us feel welcome as soon as we walked in, cool environment and chill. 10/10 we will be back , this time for our next pieces 🤘🏼

I’m so impressed and appreciative of emphasis tattoo and every single talented artist here. I had a really amazing experience my first time here. I went with my dad and sister for my birthday and everyone was so sweet and welcoming. I got a smaller tat. I recently came back for a bigger piece and I love how it came out! My artist was Adrian and he did amazing. He would periodically ask me how things looked and worked with the particular shading I was asking for and listened but also gave his artistic opinion which was needed:) I will say there was a communication barrier however we worked through it and he executed my vision amazingly. Man. A review is not even enough. I cannot begin to say how impressed I was with this company and the staff. They really make you feel welcomed and communication was so great that it kind of is a big reason I came in. I do not have social media so speaking with artists who only do that was hard but not for them!!! The shop owner is fabulous as well as my artist. The artist listened to my ideas and understood what I was looking for. Coming from a different artist was scary but I’m so happy I made the move. He made my ideas come to life better than I could imagine. Sitting for 6 hours and asking to tap out and no complaints from my artist and even asked for my follow up same day. I just I am so happy I found a new tattoo shop that really cares what you want. No matter the situation they made me feel so happy to sit in pain. ;) haha! Love this shop! Can’t wait to finish my sleeve!!!

My dad lost his battle to lung cancer this past April, and before he passed he wrote this for me with what little strength he had left in him. Im glad Jaiden was able to replicate his hand writing and add a feminine touch to it. Will forever have my dad with me. LOVE IT! Cant thank you enough!!

Professional environment with badass artists. Easy consultation booking. Went in for my consultation, greeted by co-founder Davy and was worked on by Artist Adrian Campos. This was going to be my 2nd tattoo in almost 16yrs and Adrian took really good care of me, he didnt rush me when I was taking my time to select the right font and size for my forearm tattoo, he displayed patience as he knows tattoos are not only special but also permanent. I am very happy with the ink work by Adrian. Adrian has a nice profolio, go check him out! I have a lot of ideas for future tattoos and Adrian is my tatt guy for now on. Looking forward to working art with him.

Brenden did my sleeve for me and I ALWAYS get compliments on it… He’s really quite talented, and he always takes care of his clients hence why I keep coming back. Was able to get two shoulder tattoos by Yasmany today. What a great tattoo artist he is. Not only did he listen and adjust the tattoos exactly as I wanted, he used full color on my brown skin. The tattoos came out beautifully. I cant wait to be tattooed by Yasmany again in the future.

I came to see Jade for my first tattoo ever. She couldn’t have been better!! She answered all my millions of questions pre and post tattoo and was super helpful with providing instructions on care. During the appointment, she really took the time to make sure my design was exactly how I wanted as a stencil. She talked me through the whole process and made me as comfortable as can be during my tattoo. Extremely professional and friendly. The studio was also very clean. Will be back!

Please please please go and see davis! he was so funny and personable, even put on music i liked! their printer was down so he hand drew my design and then redrew it. only downside is the crazy cost. most expensive tattoo i’ve gotten by *far*

Lienz tattoo is the best tattoo shop i have ever been to !!! I came in looking for a fix up on a tattoo that i got in another state that was messed up and they did just that . Turned jagged line work into perfect lining and shading . All the employees were very friendly and talkative . I will Definitely be sending friends here from now on and i will Be back !!

I have been going to Emphasis for years now and have never not had a great experience. I have now been tattooed by multiple artists, who have always been excellent. Great quality work and they all make you feel like one of the family. Definitely give them a call for literally any tattoo you could want!

If you want a quality tattoo with amazing artists then Emphasis is where you need to go! The shop is beautiful and clean. The staff is amazing and are attentive to your wants. My artist was Jorge and I am speechless. His work is immaculate and his attention to detail is unmatched. I recommend this place 1 million times over!

Sent a email with an idea I had for a full back piece. Have been working with Yasmani for a few sessions now. Love the work hes done so far. Everyone there is very friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Would never go back here personally. Booked a week out with a reference photo, asked for customization to the design and they didn’t do any customization, Adrian I believe was the artist & work felt rushed, and now see shading needle marks outside the lines (not surprised considering he was clearly rushing through it), no highlights were added, asked for a part to be shaded not solid black and he solid blacked it. Honestly just unacceptable behavior from “tattoo professionals”. Tattoo was a total of 45 mins to finish, hour maximum and was charged $300 and then prompted to tip on top of that. You put in a “budget” when filling out a consult on site and they just go with that no matter how long it takes. Normal shops charge an hourly fee, not these guys, so be careful when filling that out if you go here. I’ll be going to a different shop to clean up the work, can tell they didn’t really care about this one. Not impressed, all the shop has to say for themselves is “sorry your experience didn’t live up to your expectations”. Pretty pathetic

I have had several pieces at Emphasis tattoo. Each one is a wonderful experience and I get to keep forever masterpieces to enjoy for life. I have had tattoos by Brendan and Davis. All tattoos I have gotten from them are some of my best and memorable pieces. Most recently I had an adventure time tattoo done by Davis and he did such an incredible job with capturing the concept and essence of the show, detailed lines, powerful color, fun to talk to, and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and left with an awesome tattoo.

Davis was awesome! He was professional, funny, friendly, and talented. The establishment was accommodating, and understanding, everyone there was so friendly. If I lived in Tampa I would 100% get all my tattoos here.

Owner is a DREAM to communicate with- we emailed back and forth leading up to the appointment and he was quick to respond and so nice!Adrian. Is. INCREDIBLE. Emphasis Tattoo is hands down one of the greatest tattoo shops to exist. The artist and people in the shop are amazing to work with and conversate with. Ive been here about 8 times now and it is always a joy to work with DollarzTatu (Jordan). Dude is down to earth, listens and is an amazing artist. This dudes energy is unreal. Hes done my sleeve and reworked maybe one of the worst Jesus pieces ive seen. Some tattoo shops can be overwhelming with people in and out, loud conversations, etc. This shop is spacious so you arent on top of others, overhearing conversations and being drowned out by their discussions. If this shop was closer, I really think id pop in here and there just to say whats up to the staff. All really cool people. I am without a doubt a lifelong customer and refer all local friends and family to the shop. Thanks Emphasis for making each and every experience ive had amazing and enjoyable.

So went in on a Saturday expecting to get some work done.The guy decided he couldnt do the image I wanted, the way I wanted.So we left off that he would create some images & run them by me.After 4 days of nothing, I then reached out & let him know, if he couldnt do the work, he should never have committed to the job.I wasted almost an entire week of my time, waiting for nothing.For the price I was quoted I thought it was going to be worth it.But you get what you pay for, obviously, and Id pay double to get it done without the run around.What a waste of time!

Yesterday was the first time visiting Emphasis, the booking process was easy. I booked an appointment for my daughters 18th birthday when arriving I was very pleased with the shop it was very clean and the staff was very friendly.
