Legacy Blue Tattoo Studio and Laser Removal

Had a cover up done by John W. He is professional, organized and well prepared for my session. Ive been back 5 more sessions and counting. The studio is clean and organized. I traveled 5hours to the studio for my appointment and easily will do it again. Top notch! Communication was clear and I received reminders of my up coming appointment times. All of the artist in this studio have beautiful work. Wow!

Kim is amazing at what she does. I finally have a cartilage piercing after trying three times, but she found the perfect spot for my anatomy. Joshua has been doing a cover-up on my leg.In only 2 sittings, he has brought the large dark blob on my leg to an amazing, BEAUTIFUL, piece of artwork.Thanks to Joshua’s work thus far (we’ve got some more sittings to finish the cover-up), I have for the first time ever looked at my tattoo and said “oh, my! I had an older tattoo that was very meaningful to me and over the years it got in bad shape. I thought I would get it reworked to hopefully look acceptable again. John Wooldridge gave me lots of ideas and in the end I trusted him saying go for it. What I got was a piece of ART and completely amazing. Place is clean and everything is sterile. Staff is great. One of the few places actually open based on the hours listed on Google and they provided me with spare piercing backs without charging for a complete piece of jewelry similar to other shops! She was very kind on the phone and welcoming when I walked into the shop. Thank you so much for the kind service!

The staff are all very friendly. The facility is kept very clean. Everyone there is very talented. The day I got my tattoo which took four hours to complete there were three other artist working on pieces. Two of the pieces were significant in size and detail and they all came out amazing! Everyone there is extremely talented. Lots of good vibes.

This place and the staff are more than excellent! I would rate this place best shop Ive ever been to. Great atmosphere, VERY clean (unlike alot shops Ive been to) and the staff is very good at what they do and nothing they really cant do! I had a really horrible looking tattoo (all black too) and wanted it covered. Shea did an amazing job covering it for me you cant even see the old one at all. I was so and still am so happy with it and cannot wait to go back for more! So I would just like to end with if you havent been to Legacy Blue you havent been to a good tattoo shop! 5 stars and then some!!! DONT go somewhere else. Great place, really great people, very reasonable prices! John did some work for me, before I was to have heart surgery. The hour or two that I spent with him was better for me than any medicine could ever do. He is amazing, not just as an artist but as a person. I will never get work done anywhere else or buy anyone else. And my tattoo was sooo good that I cried, its perfect! John is not just a tattoo artist, hes a serious artist, and a really great guy, and hes now a friend. I just love him!!!

Ive gotten my third tattoo from this shop last week. Went on my 18th birthday, a month later for a finger tat, and last week one for graduation. Ive been here twice now and have had 2 different artists do the work. Both expierences were totally awesome, the more recent visit, the tattoos below, was done by Autumn B. She was absolutely amazing and surpassed my expectations by a tremendous amount. I am not one to see random artists and I have to REALLY like your portfolio to consider getting work done, but this place is great.By the way, if your hungry, ask them to order a pizza if you are able to pitch in for it and I guarantee it will happen lol. Ive been fed both times Ive been there.

I had an awesome experience from start to finish. Very prompt and professional contact with Lita to set up the consultation and then when we sat to discuss my coverup she took notes, pictures and my thoughts and the finished product far exceeded my expectations. Everyone was friendly and really made me feel comfortable (which is difficult when sitting for a 5 hour tattoo). I adore the finished product and cannot wait to go back!! Went to Ed for mother daughter tattoos. He did an amazing job! It was a very simple tattoo but he made the experience and we are super happy with how the tattoos turned out. Definitely recommend this shop. It was very clean and everyone there was nice

I had visited several tattoo shops before coming to Legacy Blue Tattoo. It took all of five minutes of being there to realize they are hands down the BEST choice! Their shop is impeccably clean, everyone is so friendly that they make you feel like youve been friends for a while already! The artists are amazing and sincerely care about what you want. Shea is the man! He redid the tiger on my arm, my tribal, put some lettering on my bicep (half sleeve), and also did another tattoo of my dog on the opposite shoulder. He did an amazing job- everyone who looks at my work asks me where I got it done, and is impressed with the amount of detail and overall look of the tattoo. Everyone thinks i spent my life savings on my art- but Shea was very reasonable with his pricing, and bangs it out, instead of taking advantage of the time. Awesome Price, Awesome Guy, Awesome Work. 5 STARS FOR SURE!

My husband and I got tattoos the same day for the first time at this studio back in February 2013. Shea was our artist and he blew our mind with his interpretation of what we each wanted. He works with you and doesnt force any ideas on you. He actually wants you to be happy! I cant remember ever feeling that way with previous tattoo artists. Ill be going to him for life! Very clean place and very inviting. Everyone was super nice and every process was thouroughly explained...even after care! Best shop in town.I started comming to this shop a few years back. Since then Ive personally had several prize winning tattoos including a few first place trophies for the amazing work done here. Not only do the artists quality of work speak for themselves, but the atmosphere is second to none. Every time Im in I feel more like Im at home with my closest friends rather then at a tattoo shop. You will not be disappointed in the class and experience you will find here. Hands down the best shop around. There should be nothing but great praises for this shop. This is comming from an avid tattoo enthusiast with plenty of time in the chair in this shop and others.

I came into Legacy Blue with nothing but a few ideas and a dream. Shea managed to turn my ideas into a reality, in the form of a half sleeve. Its hard not to have expectations when you go in to get a tattoo. I think its even harder for an artist to meet those expectations, especially when you give them limited information of what you want to go off of. Shea not only met my expectations but far exceeded them, which is a testament to his prowess as a tattoo artist. Ive had my tattoo for a few days now, and I must have gotten at least 25 different people stop me to tell me how great it looks and to ask where I got it done. The whole staff at Legacy Blue was friendly and extremely helpful. I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

I have been here 3 times so far and I have my 4th appointment in October. The shop is clean and the staff are great! I’ve been tattooed by the guest artist Jackie and now by Shea Tatum. I plan to get some more tattoos by the other artists once I save up some more money. I definitely recommend this place for all your needs 😍

I went here for a Friday the 13th special last year and got my boyfriend to join me. We both got a tattoo, mine was Zero from Nightmare before Christmas. Honestly, out of all the tattoo places doing specials that day Zero was the reason I chose this place since you dont do custom tattoos on Friday the 13th. I believe it was $31 dollars, something cheap thats for sure. The detail was impressive though, and I was grateful to the tattoo artist for being personable and helpful. I had wanted it somewhere on my ankle, and he quickly pointed out some of the spots I had in mind would be terrible as they are places you typically rub up against and would wear out the ink fast. My boyfriend also got one, a skull ice cream cone, and his artist even put in some extra detailing for him. For what should have been cheap slap on tattoos we both got the same kind of service we were used to for our bigger tattoos from thoroughly vetted places, definitely beyond our expectations for such a busy tattoo event. Would highly recommend.

My nose ring fell out and I could not for the life of me get it back in and she took care of it after a little finagling. She was patient and genuine and I am glad it happened to meet her. My wife and I just had Lita give us tatoos and I couldnt be happier. Lita is super creative and took our ideas to a new level. She does a great job building on ideas and making them better. She took me out of my box but knew not to run too far. On tip of her creativity, Litas line work is amazing. I would highly recommend Lita.

Ive been getting tattooed by Ken Dean for a few years now and Im always overjoyed with his work. He just moved back to Florida after living in Seattle for a bit and has plenty of openings. His paintings and drawings are all beautiful and completely original. So you know your tattoo wont be copied and pasted from the internet. Its one of a kind. Hes helpful and creative, he can take a vague idea and make a masterpiece! All I told him was that I wanted an evil eye incorporated in a sternum/underboob tattoo and he gave me a beautiful piece that Ill always love. The last thing we worked on was my Japanese sleeve and he just drew up my next piece. I cant wait to get started! One of the great things about him is that he doesnt care if its a small, quick tattoo or a huge piece that takes hours-he has the same amount of passion and enthusiasm for all the tattoos he does. Hes so personable and funny, you leave feeling like youve made a great friend! He does amazing coverups and helps you get the artwork you deserve. Something you can be proud to carry with you always! Terrible customer service. Igonored my emails for a tattoo. Avoid at all costs. Went to Blue Devil in Tampa which was much better and much more experienced in the industry.
