Had a nostril piercing done by Krystal. Fantastic experience!! She made me feel calm and relaxed, it was over and done before I knew it. Definitely would recommend her to others. All the staff was very knowledgeable about products, and even helped me special order a t-shirt that wasnt available in the size I needed. This shop is a gem!!

Me and my friends eyebrow piercings rejected, my industrial piercings initial jewelry was slightly bent, when my friend bought a barbell from them it broke the exact same day despite being handled gently, and the wrong gauge was written down on my pamphlet for my industrial.I originally got my eyebrow pierced with a friend back in May. They got two eyebrow piercings at the same time that I got one. My eyebrow piercing migrated more and more out of my face until it got bad enough that I realized it was rejecting and had to come out. Looking back on several pictures Id taken of my face since getting it pieced I could tell it had definitely been migrating. Id even started to lose eyebrow hair around the piercing site. One of my friends eyebrow piercings rejected around the same time as mine, and their other eyebrow piercing was migrating and they were trying to salvage it. This is despite us both cleaning our piercings regularly, following all care procedures, and being extra careful.My industrial piercings initial jewelry was slightly bent. Months after it was pierced I took it out for the first time to see that the entire time it has been bent.When my friend bought a new barbell for their tongue piercing, the heart piece that screwed into the top broke the same day they bought it. It wouldnt screw on tot he bar at all and wouldnt stay on. It broke in the middle of their shift at work and they had to beg an off-work coworker to bring them a spare barbell.Lastly, today Im figuring out that the wrong gauge was written down on my pamphlet. 18g was written down despite my industrial piercing actually being 14g. I referenced the gauge written down on the paper to buy new jewelry and found out using the measurement card that came with the new jewellery, that the gauge written on the paper by Under my Skin was not the same gauge that was actually in my ear. Based on misinformation on the pamphlet, I ended up spending money and waiting for a piece of new jewellery to arrive that is too small for my piercing .I wrote an email about the eyebrow piercings months ago, but never got any response. (I even checked my spam folder) I was also at the time concerned about my industrial healing poorly, but luckily it seems to have healed fine despite a nerve wracking healing process and the barbell being crooked.Im really sad that I and my friends have had a really awful experience. My septum I got pierced by them last year went perfectly, but theres been several issues with many things since the summer. Under my skin was one of the very few cool places to go in Temple Mall, and the staff are always super nice, but after everything I cant trust going back.

I’ve been shopping here for a couple years now and the quality of their products are fantastic, every shirt and accessory i’ve bought have lasted since i’ve gotten them. I love the fact that they buy all their shirts directly from the bands ans well! Everyone who works there is also super kind and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Went to get my vertical labret done today and Krystal made it a super smooth and calm process. Will definitely be going back to her for all my piercing needs. :-)

Extremely professional, clean and safe. Book online for sure! I’ve tried walking in three different times with no luck and the night Ihad an appointment she had people lined out the door. I walked right in and was out 15 minutes later. Gotta figure out my next piercing now!

Was in Temple visiting a loved one in the hospital and happened upon this store while grabbing food and found so many horror, thriller, and cult classic treasures at this store! I could have spent hours looking through all of the cool stuff! Bought my daughter a Coraline stuffed animal, 2 really nice quality Terrifier, and Micahel Myers enamel pins and car fresheners! Also, staff was very nice and informative. I would recommend 👌🏽

My daughter got her belly piercing there...WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! also they sell a lot of Harry Potter stuff...yay...and Bell County Comic Con merch which I was happy about bc I didnt get to buy any shirts this year when I was there! Yay!

I took my daughter to get her septum pierced for her birthday and everyone there was so polite and patient. From getting checked in, the piercing, and explaining the after care instructions was great experience. They were incredibly busy and didn’t rush a single part of the process. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. A big thank you to Krystal and the crew!

Dont go if your latino or African. Every time I go to shop or just see what they have. There one employee that just stands behind you or in corner to see if you goin to steal something but he doesnt do that to white people. I noticed that he dont do that to white people even when its pack inside the store

When it comes to small businesses,Under My Skin is one of the few I can say have both the small business charm, as well as a personal connection to their community. They genuinely care for their customers.The piercing studio staff are both professional and attentive to the clients.Ive had many piercings done by Krystal over the years. She is an extremely talented piercer.Krystal takes pride in her work. She has care and consideration for the process and aftercare.Two of the piercings I had done by Krystal were my double eyebrow piercings.I can be quite clumsy and I caught them on my shirts countless times.However , after Krystals detailed explanation of the aftercare process and the ability to come in for follow up consultations, I understood that eyebrows can be very difficult to heal and are prone to irritation bumps.When I consulted Krystal for advice,she guided me through the process with patience. With her help, we got the irrition bumps to go away.I will always be grateful for the care she showed me throughout the years. She is the best, hands down.

Got my upper lobes done by Krystal! I had scars from previous Claires piercings and she worked with them and corrected the placement for me. She was very efficient, calming, and personable, and she ran me through the aftercare and everything. The price was incredibly reasonable and the aurora gem I chose is stunning. This will definitely be my first choice if I get any more piercings in the future!

I took my almost 4 year old daughter who had consistently been asking for her ears pierced here, I had read and heard recommendations about Krystal. It was a great experience, Krystal was so good with my daughter and you could tell not only did she know what she was doing in the piercing department but she also knew how to work with kids! I heard many great things about Under My Skin, from friends, and I was interested in getting a septum piercing a few months ago. I went in and the staff were incredibly friendly, and approachable, and were happy to answer any questions I had. They made me super comfortable, and they did an amazing job with my piercing. Enough to the point I came back a month ago and got a stomach piercing as well. They tell you all the information you need to know on how to take care of it, give you high quality jewelry, and provide you with aftercare products to make sure your new piercing doesnt get infected. I love the atmosphere the store has and the people who work in it; Im always excited for my next trip there. ❤️

I think the place is great. Very professional, informative, and great merchandise. The workers there a very nice and were very friendly with my toddler. Krystal is really nice and she is the piercer. Though I did love it and my piercing, i wish she had asked me before hand about placement for my nose. I recently got mine done a couple days ago. I do like it, but I still wish she had asked before hand because I personally think my nose pierce is a bit too high. My cousin got hers done as well and she loved it as well but also wish she had been shown placement before getting it done. Perhaps it is our fault for not asking but I do recommend this place absolutely, but make sure to ask about placement because they won’t otherwise ask for your opinion . Still 10/10 experience. Also they do walk ins BUT highly recommend making an appointment. We got lucky and were squeezed in.

So professional, great with kids getting ears pierced. My daughter changed her mind after one ear was pierced. She respected my daughters body autonomy with zero pressure or shame and we were able to come back when she was ready to get her other ear done. They’ve earned my business for piercing, as well as any off-beat gifts I may ever need.

Took my 16 yr old for her first real piercing. Krystal was amazing! Super impressed that she stood her ground about the documentation that was needed. Told me that she was worth the return trip (we live 40 miles out) with the right documentation. Daughter is super happy with the experience and we are heading back for another in January! Great customer service from a fellow named Rob. Very knowledgeable. Krystal changed out some cartilage piercings my daughter had done at a different place. The piercings were hurting her because of the type of earrings used when the other place pierced her. Rob led us to earnings that would help the healing and Krystal switched them out for us. She was very gentle and quick with the switch. Great team! We will for sure be going back!

The staff doesnt want to do their job. I asked if they had 16 gage hoops & he just pointed at the wall when I know they keep all the jewelry under the counter. They tell you what jewelry you can be pierced with when its your $. The owner has a bad attitude.

I was so so nervous to get my septum pierced. An employee and Krystal were so nice telling me it’s an easy piercing pain wise. Krystal was so gentle and explained what she was going to do before doing it. I have a low pain tolerance and this piercing was super fast and i didn’t even realize she pierced it!

I went in to get my nose pierced and it was the best experience. Krystal was very professional. The space was clean, she talked calmly, and you could tell she was knowledgeable. Coming from a person with a low pain tolerance I barely felt a thing.

After doing my research I found that a tattoo/piercing type place would be the best for piercing my 7yr old daughters ears. Saying that I was a little leery on taking my daughter to a tattoo parlor, and thats when I came across Under My Skin. They had great reviews and when I called and spoke with the gentleman he was so kind and positive it made me feel good. When we actually came in for her piercing we met Krystal, and she was AMAZING! My daughter was getting a little nervous, but Krystal calmed her down and got her back on track. Hands down this is well worth the extra money for a professionally done job. Great customer service, highly recommend it for girls ear piercing! Thank you for making this a positive experience rather than a nightmare!

Nice friendly staff. Was greeted as soon as I walked in and if 1 person didnt know the answer they made sure to get me to a person who did. Their piercer did an amazing job as well, very quick and pays attention to detail.

I absolutely love the store and their products. The management is awesome including who I believe is the store manager who’s always there and Rob whenever he pops in. The piercer who helped check me out was also really nice and great. My only main concern is having their employees in the small store to remember who they asked if they were doing okay while shopping around and leave them alone for a brief moment vs. asking every time we turn a corner. This has happened on so many occasions. Not sure if this is the store manager’s preference and so they’re actually working but it makes me not want to go in unless I see maybe 1 worker in there or when it’s crowded so I’m left alone and they focus on other customers. Also hoping they can remodel or something to figure out a better line set up. Went in there just to get my Silos of Screams tickets in person to show support and waited longer than expected cause other customers cut in front of me and I’m sure it’s confusing to see with the line being where the aisles are. Overall great management and values. I wish we had this kind of store when I was younger and the Temple Mall was a little more alive.

Krystal did my nostril piercing last week at Under My Skin and did an amazing job, not only with the piercing, but by making me feel comfortable and like we were old friends. She is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and gentle. I cant wait to go back!

I got my belly button pierced for the first time everyone was very nice and respectful and they made me feel comfortable and calm about the piercing definitely a great place to get a piercing if it’s your first time

I went there today with my mom to get my nose pierced. My piercer was super friendly and gave me a lot of awesome information on how too take care of it and what not to do. She was patient with all my questions and my nose piercing hardly hurt, she was so gentle. Ill be going back in a couple weeks to get my nose ring changed by her as well. Love this place! Everyone was so friendly and kind.

I have gotten 2 piercings and my daughter has gotten 1 from Under My Skin. The staff is always very nice and if you ask a question they dont know the answer to they always find out and get back to you. The piercing area is super clean and Crystal takes piercing you very seriously. Very professional and clean and I would and do recommend to anyone.

I’ve had numerous piercings in my lifetime and have never felt so uncertain of a piercer in my life. While she was nice I didn’t get to see my jewelry or tools sanitized which I feel is a key part to trusting your piercer. Along with getting a piercing on my left ear I bought a new piece of jewelry from the shop for my other ear and it broke within a month without ever messing with it or touching it as well as when my original jewelry was taken out she was very harsh and it severely hurt for days after

I will say this place was amazing!!! I took my daughter here to get her daith pierced and crystal did an amazing job. Her professionalism and demeanor was above and beyond!!! My daughter is only 15 and I didn’t want her to be at a tattoo shop seeing god knows what.The gentleman that works the front was equally amazing. For anyone looking to get a piercing please go here first do not take them to a tattoo shop.

Wow… I came in just looking around and one of the guys with I believe bleached hair and short waist black shirt at the counter came immediately around to where I was at. At first I thought he was going to ask me for my help but he just turned his head away. Every time I went to a different isle he poked his head around like he was stalking me. I guess he thought I was trying to steal or something. That made me very uncomfortable. It’s like he was profiling me. The only thing I was doing was looking at different graphic shirts that I was thinking of buying but after this experience I don’t think so.

I came in to find a new piercing ring for my septum, workers were very friendly and helped me find exactly what I needed. A 10/10 experience other then this red haired emo that tried to literally rob me of my piercing jewelry. Like seriously who makes you buy something then doesn’t put it in your bag when they check you out??? Fire this man!!! He never even noticed he didn’t give me my stuff! I had to go ALL the way back to the store after walking out ten whole feet just to demand I get my jewelry! The emo had the nerve to ask me to do his hair afterwards, 0/10 for him. Everyone else is wonderful!!

I went in to get a nose piercing and the worker named seth with red hair did a backflip and joyfully skipped over to the wall and showed me the jewelry. He seemed very excited to tell me about the 3 for 12 sale. He encouraged me to get the deal. When I agreed he did a handstand!! This is such a dedicated worker. I chose my jewelry and he checked me out. He skipped to the register to ring me up. He SANG a song that was off the album on my shirt. I never felt so accepted in my life. I love this place and this worker!

Gosh I just love this place. I took my 8yo to get her first ear piercing and she was treated so well! Within a few days she lost the back to one of her bars and they replaced it AND gave me a few extra for free! The merch is second only to the service you get here!

I got my nose pierced on 06/14/2019 and I have to say it was an amazing experience. I was most worried about the placement, that I would have to go back and forth with the piercer to be happy with the placement. The first mark that Krystal did on my nose was absolutely perfect, its completely centered and just right to rock a stud or a nose ring. The piercing itself did not hurt one single bit - my eyes did not even water which is a completely normal response and everybody responds differently but this really had me shook. I didnt bleed, my eyes didnt water and it wasnt even that red! Krystal was very thorough explaining after care and making me comfortable to reach back to her if I had any questions or concerns. The place has awesome rick and morty merch and huge amount of body jewelry, Would definitely go back to shop or if I want another piercing. Highly recommend A++ 10/10

I got my first piercing done (besides my ears that I got done at Claire’s when I was 8) the other day and I am blown away! I was worried because have ing a piercing shop in a mall seemed a little weird but everyone was so kind and reassuring to me and I felt so at ease even though I was by myself. The woman who pierced my tongue was very clean and sweet throughout the whole process! The piercing is dead center of my tongue, there is little to no pain, there was no blood, and it’s healing amazing!! I am definitely coming back for when I get another piercing! (Also I want to apologize again for walking out without paying I got a bit too excited with how well everything went, thank you for grabbing me before I actualy left!) I 100% recommend you go here if you want your tongue pierced!

I’ve had my nose pierced at a different place before and this place doesn’t compare. Quick. Painless. I had no bleeding from the site and my eye barely watered. Coupled with good aftercare instructions I’ll definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a piercing.

There is an older man with a beard who is super rude. I was so excited to get my nose pierced but just walking in and just asking about the piercing was a bad experience... he was so rude answering the question and had an attitude like if I was annoying him because he had to stand up and answer the question. I’ve been looking forward to it but I guess I’ll have to wait until I find a better person I feel safe with... No way was I going to let him poke a hole in my face with all that rudeness.

The owners are husband and wife. And the wife is very gentle with the needles. This shop has every thing from rock band shirts, different body piercing and cool Harry Potter and magic crystals

I have two little girls and one of them wanted their ears pierced really badly so we took the plunge and searched for a location that doesnt use the guns. This place is clean the personnel are kind and made the ear piercing experience as painless as possible.

I went it to get my conch pierced. All week I was so nervous on how much it was going to hurt. When I say it didnt hurt AT ALL!!! I mean it! Crystal did an amazing job, dont in a literal second and the day after it isnt even throbbing. If you are someone who thoroughly enjoys piercings i would ONLY go to Crystal if your in temple or any of the surrounding towns. Its worth the drive I promise.

So ive been searching everywhere for a unique piece of septum jewelry could have bought it online but im weird their prices are reasonable to include they were very patient and helpfull they also helped me customise my nose piece so it would fit better and look like the old one i lost so glad i went i will be going back i ended up buying a wicked tribal piece for my lip and he hooked it up with a smaller bar
