I got the pleasure of getting a memorial piece done by Ana and she nailed it. She definitely listened to me when it came to detail and what I was looking for even with the slight changes made my idea look better than what I envisioned in my head. She also gave me 3 size options and worked with me on the perfect placement! I was nervous of getting my first shin tattoo but let me tell you she has a light hand! I Definitely recommend her to do your tattoos! I’ve already have more plans for future ink!!! Always a good experience when I go to Lucky In Love!

Dont go here Unless you plan on being ripped off, Went for a price check on a basic ,black, eye of horus that was 1 inch tall and 1 inch wide Only to be quoted $250!!! Out of your minds! I hope people read this and get smart and go somewhere else!

My Godson inkbyjay works here. Just got my first ink since my Cancer diagnosis a year ago and the shop showed me love. Its nice and clean and the crew there is top notch!

First and foremost, this is a tattoo studio. They have several tattoo artists available and from the photo albums, very talented. The service was good. My first visit I was introduced to an artist, we talked about my design and the procedure explained.

Myself and friends have been going to Per for six years now and have never been disappointed. The work he and everybody does in that shop is always impeccable. Youre honestly not going to find a more rad shop with really great people who will put the time and effort to ensure that your tattoo will come out better than you imagined. If youre considering Lucky in Love youll definitely get your moneys worth.

I drove from Houston to get tattooed by Per. He was super professional and communicated greatly with me over the course of 2 weeks prior to getting my tattoo. Per already had mock ups drawn and ready by the time I walked to my appointment (to which I was actually early to) and then proceeded to give me one of the sickest Converge tattoos ive ever seen! Another cool thing about the shop is the atmosphere and staff are really cool and they always play sick music there, not to mention that the place always looks clean and tidy. Will definitely be making the drive again 10/10

A friend and I walked in with no appointment. The artist moved his schedule around to fit us in before he drove to Austin to work at another shop. He also made our vision come to life exactly the way we wanted.We got great customer service, amazing work, and awesome memories to take home with us!

Lucky in Love is a beautiful parlor, full of art, friendly people and overall a chill and comfortable environment.I’ve been following David (@FamousInk420) on social media for awhile and loved his work from afar, my experience with him today was everything I hoped for and more. Totally worth the 2 hour drive!He took my mishmash of written ideas, Pinterest pictures, and song inspiration and made a truly lovely piece I’m so happy to carry on my arm.I really appreciated his patience and how he took the time to explain what worked well together, how to balance the colors, and that he calmly reworked the base outline until it was perfect. He also made sure we took decent breaks in between which really helped it not be too overwhelming.This was the best experience I’ve had getting a tattoo!

Walked in tonight and immediately felt at ease. Everyone in the shop was extremely friendly and definitely calmed my nerves. When I asked their opinion I got great professional answers, and they werent pushy like other places Ive been. I will definitely come back here for future tattoos...I felt like they were happy that I walked in tonight. Oh, and Im in love with my tattoo! :)

Got some awesome work done here and had a great experience doing it. Artists take their time making every tattoo a unique piece tailored to you. They also put a considerable effort into placement and finding the perfect spot. Do yourself a favor and let the artist put their style into your idea and it will pay off big time. If your a fan of the American Traditional Style then Lucky in Love is one of the best choices in Central Texas.

This shop is great! It is very clean. I did a walk in and when I went in Samari greeted me. She was with a customer but took the time to talk to me about what I wanted. She was very kind and helped me decide on size and placement. She was busy so she got Famous to come out and talk to me. He went through size and placement again with me and told me what I wanted sounded good and would be no problem, gave me a price, and did my tattoo. I have 2 tattoos from a different shop and they healed poorly so I asked him why that was and he kindly explained it to me. When I was done I had trouble paying him through venmo (I didnt realize it was cash only and I hardly use venmo) but he was very understanding and patient. And most importantly I love my tattoo. It looks much more clean than my other two! This shop is great and the artists are lovely and very helpful. Some shops you go into, if you dont want a large or extravigant piece, they tend to shrug you off (in my experience anyway) but these artist were amazing! Thank you guys for the wonderful customer service!

I recently visited this shop and had some work done by Per. Great artist and a great shop. I had some ideas on what i wanted and was able to talk to Christopher give him my ideas and let him create the art. The art i ended up with was better then i could have ask for. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants to get work done any day. Five stars wearing my work proudly and will be back for more.

Decided to pop in to Lucky In Love after a different shop (in another town) wouldnt even try to do the script tattoo I wanted. Sondra took one look, did a beautiful freehand version, and absolutely killed it... I mean PER-FECT! After being told I simply couldnt have the tattoo I wanted, Sondra made it seem so effortless. By the way, did I tell you her handwriting is PERFECT? The whole crew was a pleasure to work with. Ill be back again for sure. Thank you!!

Pretty unimpressed. I have been driving to Austin to get my sleeve, well I heard about this place and thought about giving them my business since they’re local and I’ve have another full sleeve to do as well as finishing the one I’m working on. However I had to have an X-ray on my neck, had to take out a piercing and have had trouble since. I called lucky in love with the intent to ask about jewelry. Yeah the lady didn’t even bother to let me finish talking to tell her all I was asking about was jewelry before she cut me off to tell me “we don’t do piercings”. A. It’s rude to interrupt a potential customer. B. Lady you didn’t even wait to see what I needed. C. IF YOU HAD LISTENED you’d have heard me say “I have a cartilage piercing that I had to take out..... that’s when you just decided to cut me off.You won’t be getting my 175$ an hour business for my sleeves and I will be letting anyone I talk to that this is how you do business. First impressions are everything and if you cannot even shut up long enough to hear what I’m asking, then how the hell am I going to trust you to do my ink.

Per is a great artist, very welcoming and great to work with. Hes got a high class work ethic and is willing to work with you to get what you want. Cover ups or new tats, hes the dude to go to for traditional style Japanese tats.

Business done very unprofessionally and HIGHLY overpriced. Definitely not a first tattoo place.1. They take only cash2. They take a $ 60 up front just to make your appointment (which yes does come off your entire tattoo fee)3. I upgraded my circle-symbol tattoo from “baseball“ size to “softball” size on my chest for a $ 40 pay increase now with my tattoo payed a whooping almost $ 200 for, for a 3.5x3.5 in. Tattoo... no most definitely not softball size.4. My artist like pretty much pier pressured me to like alter my original design tbh it’s good very well done work don’t get me wrong; but just inconvenient and feeling ripped off for spending almost $ 200 for a not even 4x4 in. tattoo. Will not ever be returning

I see a lot of people talking about them being unprofessional or unfriendly but this is the most untrue thing about this shop. I’ve been going since I turned 18 and haven’t stopped since. They’re basically a family and are some of the best artists in the area. Prices are great and the art is top tier. I always recommend this shop to absolutely everyone!

I’ve got a few tattoos in my time and have went to a few different places but after finding Famous at “Lucky in Love” I’ll never go to another shop or artist. Super friendly staff. I’d eat dinner off the floors in there it was so clean.

I am giving one star because this place absolutely did a terrible job. The front desk lady was kind and helpful. The artist was very unkind. Rolled her eyes at me and did a poor job on my tattoo. She would not answer me while i was asking her questions and when she was finished I asked her a few questions about the tattoo and she told me because I chose a small design it was hard for her to do well on the details, making it all my fault. It is already my biggest regret.

Not a very good experience for being my first tattoo experience. Was pretty much discouraged about getting the tattoo that i wanted by the owner. I know what I want and will pay to get it done. She made me feel very doubtful about her as an artist. Therefore I walked out. Not a good vibe at all..

Buyer beware....I provided a drawing of a tattoo and made an appointment....the appointment was changed later due to a conflict in the shop and when I showed, the guy made me wait an 45 minutes while he quickly and terribly sketched his version of the drawing. It looked nothing like the drawing I provided and when I commented he got indignant and defended his art. He refused to refund the deposit although his work was VERY substandard. I have shown it to other tattooist (real artist) and they were appalled. This shop is a fraud. Go to HH or Killeen before they ruin your body.

My experience was horrible. I was scared to go in there. The owner is really rude and aggressive. Doesnt let you get your point across. The tattoo artist that was supposed to tattoo me, didnt not want to tattoo me. I actually felt pressured to get my tattoo. It was almost like they werent going to let me out until, I got my tattoo done by then. The whole situation was really scary. Im never going back there again.

Loved this place. Sondra is the best tattoo artist and spends time to make sure you get exactly what you want. Will be going back there for sure to get some more work done.

Too much drama on Facebook with the David dude just doesn’t want to make you do business with shop. Drama follows and that’s what folks need to understand. So you don’t know if it’s safe or not.

New to Texas! Visited this shop earlier, waited for a couple minutes at the front desk, no one came.. I seen tattoo artist and more seen that I was there no one approached me or asked me anything.. one woman was even chuckling because no one was acknowledging the fact that I was there and trying to receive services, I got prejudice vibes honestly and ended up leaving after 10 minutes of no one saying anything

Per or rather Mr. Perfect found a way to do what I wanted and blend what he was doing into an older tattoo. He took my loose idea and transformed it perfectly into the style and look I was going for. 10/10 would go again

Do not recommend. Aside from the hygeine, insulting the intelligence of their clients, their artist(s) are either incapable or unwilling to do an extremely simple geometric design. (Just a rhombus pattern)
