Empire Tattoo

Gave your tattoo artist Michael a $100 deposit for a tattoo. His lack of communication and constant excuses of being busy when i would contact him concerning my piece. He had stated that deposits are non refundable if there were repeated cancelations. But he only told me this a month after the first communication which still would not apply to me A date was never made, he never worked on the piece and never showed me any work concerning the piece. So i told him due to his lack of communication and interest in the piece i have decided to go elsewhere and asked for my deposit back. 2 weeks later with no communication, he decides to tell me he is keeping my deposit. For what exactly? Because we never set a date for the tattoo, he never showed me any work, in fact he told he he was too busy to start on mine but never stated when he was available. Unbelievably unprofessional, so just going to let people know not to go to Empire Tattoo or give deposits. They dont give you your money back even though they did absolutely nothing.

Sonny is the best. I asked for my aunts handwriting and thats exactly what I got. As simple as it is, its everything to me and absolutely perfect. Plus, a sticker and a keychain are always appreciated!

All artists are extremely talented and friendly. Love all my ink, and conveniently located. This is my go to shop!

Great tattoos from David Byerly. My wife has picked him as her new artist, 6 tattoos out of 45. Little Groot & The Turtle Club are two of them. I have the Turtle Club along with two of Lisas friends and one of our sons. Both of those friends and our son have gone back to David for other tattoos. You dont get that kind of return service with bad Ink.

Just had my first appointment with Enrique and had a great experience. Getting a tattoo at a new place can be stressful, but my experience was far from that. The staff was great and the atmosphere positive.The only issue I had leaving Empire, was trying to figure out the next project. All the artists here specialize in different styles, so Ive got a fun challenge ahead deciding what to have done next.

Two tiny tattoos in the same ink with the same needle. Neither was complicated or larger than a quarter we were in and out in under an hour he did a good job. I was taken back when he charged $70 a piece!!! My mistake. I should have asked the price ahead of time but I felt taken

Great tattoo shop with awesome artists. I have been several times over the last few years and have never had a negative thing to say. The artists are friendly and customer service is priority. The owner prides himself in biohazard awareness and cleanliness. He also makes sure each customer is happy and satisfied.

Josh was my tattoo artist and he has the touch of an angel. It did not hurt at all! He took time to plan what I really wanted. I had him do a small cover up. I really want to thank him for his participation in donating toys to children at Christmas and offering a special discount to the clients who took advantage of this special. Great, fun and overall excellent customer experience.

David Byerly was (is) our tattoo artist and let me just say we both sincerely enjoyed this experience from start to finish!! Not only is the work that was done on us was amazing, his character and personality is what sold us. A great guy who does great art!!

This is hands down the best tattoo shop in Tucson! Josh has done tattoos for me on multiple occasions and they turned our beautiful! I recommend Empire and Josh if you want to get a tattoo that you will be proud of!

I went in frustrated with other shops that lack professionalism. As I walked in, I was c greeted by Sonny. He asked what I was looking for and by budget. I showed him my daughters baby footprints I wanted to get tattooed & told him I wanted to get his price ( you get what you pay for). He told me his price and I went ahead with it. Final product came out better than I expected. I highly recommend this shop for quality work.

Ive known David for alittle while now, hes done pieces on atleast 4 people I know. This was my first tattoo, my sister and cousin got the same tattoo in memory of my Mom that recently passed. It was as quick and painless as a tattoo can be! David is always clean, personable and professional.

Clyde is GREAT! Very talented! Makes sure youre getting EXACTLY what you want and will spend as much time as needed to get the perfect result. Great with first timers and checks up on you later to make sure youre healing well and there are no issues.

I was getting in my car this evening after my pedi two doors down when I saw this tattoo shop. I thought, what the heck, Ive been wanting another tattoo for a while. (like 22 years, lol)So.... I popped in and was greeted initially by an individual who led me to Sonny, he was available for a walk in. Sonny was patient with me as I discussed what I wanted and tried to get the vibe. Following some chatting, I was confident that I would be safe getting my tattoo. Sonnys likable personality and professional demeanor put me at ease. My last tattoo was on my back, between my shoulder blades. This tattoo today was on my inner forearm, about 3 above my wrist. It hurt a little, nothing serious. No tears or cussing, lol. I cant wait to go back for some more ink. Time to catch up! Thank you, Sonny! See you soon!

Very impressed with this shop, especially Matt’s work. He was able to put a timeless piece on me that both means the world to me and was hard to pull off. He killed it! Highly recommend.

Only rating one cause i cant rate zero. I should of walked out the second i realized the artist wasnt seeing my vision at all. the artist didnt put any effort in the drawing at all. also, every time i said i didnt like something about it or asked for it to be tweaked a bit, he looked at me like im this unworthy annoyance. I cant tell you why i didnt walk out at that moment, i probably didnt have the courage to.now i have this huge tattoo on my neck that im not happy with at all and that i have to either hide for the rest of my life or pay hundreds to cover up. everytime i iook at this tattoo i tear up and want to cry.tattoo artists: IT IS PERMANENT, If someone doesnt like your first drawing dont look at them like theyre the devil. Im paying you 200 for an hour of your time... the least you can do is put some effort into it

What was my reaction when the needles touched my skin for the first time? Sincerely?. It made me want to laugh because all the tension that had accumulated disappearedwhen I realized for myself that it was not so much and that the pain was totally bearable. I loved it

Only tattoo shop I go to now, David is the man there! But they have plenty of other great artists as well. The vibe is great, would definitely recommend!

I couldnt be more happy with my tattoo came in there not knowing exactly what I wanted, I needed a name covered up. My artist I think his name was Chance Quinn, came up with a kick ass design on the spot. Very friendly location
