Went in with my son. He has been wanting pieced ears for a long time. We decided to do this together. The girls working were wonderful. They did a great job. They made him feel comfortable, and they were so fast. He took pics of his ears all the way home. Thank you

I got my bellybutton pierced here, and after a few days it started to reject. I went to a different more experienced piercer and she told me that the navel piercing I got was done incorrectly. The piercing was so high up it wasnt even in my bellybutton anymore, it was done about an inch too high, so I had to get it removed. I have always recommended this place, but this experience has turned me away for good.

I had my first tattoo experience ever at this shop about a month ago. I was on vacation seeing family and they recommended this place insisting that it was the best in town. I would strongly disagree. Emily did two tattoos for me and they both blew out within a few hours of getting it. She pressed so hard and one of the tattoos in particular looks so bad and smudged out that people point it out. I hate it and have cried over it more times than I can count. I mentioned several times that I wanted my lines to be thinner and more dainty and she just said “no you don’t”. I am now realizing that probably had to do more with her ability, and I wish she would’ve just admitted she couldn’t do it instead of pressing too hard and giving me two blown out tattoos that will be on my body for the rest of my life. I felt rushed, as when I didn’t make my decision on the font right away she started moving past me onto the next person. Worse experience I could’ve ever imagined and I hate what she put on my body. Had they looked how I wanted them to, I would love them. I never wanted to get a tattoo that I would regret and I can’t believe this happened to me. I am embarrassed even having to write a review like this. Hoping this review will help people make an informed decision on whether they want to gamble with something so permanent, I wish I didn’t:(

I came to sacred art off a recommendation from a friend and I am more than pleased with the results. I got my first tattoo from Jibo and I came back a week later to get another. He’s a true professional and an incredible artist that’s gonna see your vision to its fullest. Dudes got a god given ability. If I could put up 100 stars I would, and if you want an awesome piece that’ll last you’ll love for a lifetime look no further.

Went in last night for a walk in tattoo and Adam took me. Fantastic artist and really clean space. All the other artists I interacted with were also really cool and friendly. I definitely recommend going with these guys, any of the artists will take great care of you

I got a tattoo from Emily at the 4th Ave location. Ive heard such incredible things about her! I guess my experience was different.. I got a tattoo on my hip, and it hurt TREMENDOUSLY. I have other tattoos, and this one was on the bone so I just thought maybe thats how it was supposed to feel. Well, it immediately started to scab and was bleeding profusely. After healing (and proper aftercare), I now have a raised scar where the tattoo is and it is incredibly patchy from the artist going wayyyy too deep/hard and permanently damaging my skin. Maybe Im just a rare mistake made by an incredible artist, but I now have scarring forever on my body. It occasionally will hurt still! Shame, as the tattoo was very small and there is no reason it should have been difficult. Also, it has been basically impossible to get any responses to come in for touch ups :/. I dont think I even want to.. definitely going to go somewhere else.

Unfortunately, I got a nose ring piercing at Sacred Art. Paige put in a small bar, so my nose was swelling up. When getting a nose ring, it should be with a long bar so it could heal. I went back (Wednesday morning)later to request some help. My nose ring was inbreeding into my skin. The guy tells me, its so swollen theres nothing he could do. (I felt like the guy didnt care if Im being honest) I went to phoenix to a new piercing spot. Thank God I went to a new location!! They were glad to help and changed it to the right long bar. Save your money and go somewhere where they care.Paige, gave me her business card its been a week, no reply.

Got my first tattoo here like 6 years ago when I was freshly 18. The guy who worked at the front desk at the time (old dude with tattoos on his face I think his name was lenny) kept condescendingly calling me “sweetie” (I asked him to stop because it was making me uncomfortable and I literally don’t know the guy) and telling me that the specific artist I’d scheduled with “wasn’t coming in” that day after I explained to him that I was there for a tattoo appointment I’d scheduled a couple days prior. Finally, the artist I scheduled with came in and the only thing his creepy self could say in response was “sorry sweetie”. I was thinking it was going to be a nice encounter, but he, off the bat, made the encounter uncomfortable and inappropriate.

Im from Illinois. My brother and sister in law got tattoos from Jibo. I went to visit them for a week and wanted a tattoo. Jibo did a great job. Got both my grandsons names on my wrist. Very happy. Thank you Jibo. You were awesome

Great experience overall! Jibo took me and my fiancé as walk-ins and absolutely smashed our cacti designs. Great conversationalist and a light touch. We plan to visit Jibo and sacred art again the next time we’re in town

I want to express my gratitude to Jibo for creating some truly fantastic tattoos for me. I traveled from out of town specifically to have Jibo work on my tattoos, and I was not disappointed. If youre looking for a tattoo artist, I highly recommend Jibo.

Sandro however the h*ll you spell his name, seen that i was young , was getting my first tattoo and imo took advantage of that. Charged 80 originally n then an extra 20 to make the heart red. I took my ring off during the what two min it took me to get the tattoo i paid him even tipped a tad and was nice although i felt he wasnt being very empathetic due to the fact it was my first tattoo! He informed me the aftercare and did great w that but only because my sister was there n i think it lightened up his mood more. Anywaysss i realize i left my ring and i call to make sure its there, it is but i couldnt pick it up that day , n when i could he wasnt working. I got my tattoo may 14 and tried to pick it up maybe a week n a half after n sandro wasnt there for me to grab my ring, which makes 0 sense like why not just put it in the register till i come? This ring was the most sentimental item i owned. My dad gave it to me after not being able to see him for damn near my whole childhood. Basically sandro threw it away after what another week of me not coming because hellooo ever think maybe we got the same off days n i havr to work to get these tattoos ? Never coming here again n dont recommend to anyone w a soul

My wife and I were looking to get tattoos. I did some research on a couple studios and found that Sacred Art Studio was the one we were going to check out. We spoke to Jibo and explained what we wanted. Jibo showed a lot of interest in what we were wanting and double checked everything. Jibo was also very friendly and we enjoyed our conversations. Once the tattoos were completed, we were very happy with the results Jibo made sure we understood how to take care of them as well. If you’re interested in a tattoo, call up Jibo, you won’t be disappointed.

Very professional ear lobe piercing — barely felt it at all, and very reasonable cost ($50 for both ears with jewelry included!)

On February 5 I went with my son and daughter in-law to be her support for her nose piercing and on a whim I got a dermal piercing. Cant remember the name of the young person who gave me the piercing but thank you so much!! You were very quick and the dermal is awesome, I LOVE IT !!!

Got my 3rd lobes pierced here by Ryan. He was very knowledgeable and gentle. Very affordable without compromising the quality. Ryan did great with the placement given how awful my first two lobes are. Definitely recommend!

A new piercing! Went to Dakota at Sacred Art Tattoo to get this Conch done and I LOVE IT!So dainty and will look great as is or with a hoop. She was gentle and talked me through what she was doing. I feel nervous when I cannot see the process but she was fantastic! I would highly recommend her! Great vibe too! They have a wide range of jewelry to choose from and I love how the backing is flat not pokey. It was a busy day but they gave each customer the time they needed and focused on them. 10/10 would recommend!

Ashley and Ilea snatched me off the sidewalk when I was walking by and cuffed me to the table and repeatedly pierced me. I now have 14 piercings. 10/10 would recommend

So I came to AZ from LA to fulfill my great uncles last wishes of the spreading of his ashes. He was a botanist for 40+ years and bred hybrid cactuses specific to this area and the man loved his ties. JIBO was my artist and he made me, my mother, and my grandmother feel right at home. My grandma had never been into a tattoo shop and was nervous and he was just a sweet baby Angel. Super super light hand and did my memorial piece a beautiful justice in helping me remember my favorite uncles life💜 thank you so much Jibo. You are a phenomenal artist and a wonderful person. Ive gotten most of my piercings (10 to be exact) here at Sacred Art. Each time has been a great experience, and I know Im a pain to deal with, especially since the end result is going to be on my body for however long I want them there. Every staff member Ive ever dealt with has been super patient and dedicated to me getting exactly what Im going there get. Love love love!!!! Will never go anywhere else.

My cousin and I were walk-ins and Jibo ABSOLUTELY CRUSHED our tattoos!! He took great care of us, made sure we were happy with every artistic decision he made, and all in all just really brought our concept to life. I will absolutely book with him again next time Im in Tucson!!!

Can’t speak to their tattoos but Iv been here a handful of times for piercing and have had nothing but great experiences. Good prices and everyone Iv dealt with there has been incredibly friendly and good at what they do. I would absolutely recommend this place.

I came here to get my naval, right nostril, and left the nostril done in that order. when I got my belly button done the guy told me that when I sit down my jewelry is going to stick out a little bit. he told me that it wasnt going to be a big deal but just something that I should know. he was very kind and I love the placing and jewelry of my piercing. but after about 2 or 3 weeks I noticed that my piercing was very red and it hurt very bad. I was consistently cleaning it but after about 2 months I noticed it was getting very infected. when I got my right nostril done I was very happy with the placement and after about a month I got my second one done. My second nose piercing was not even at all. while I was there I asked them to check out my belly button and they told me that its all part of the healing process. after about maybe a week after getting my second nostril done My belly button was getting way worse so I went to a different piercing shop to get it checked out. they told me that the person who did it did not do it right for my type of belly button, did not choose the right type of jewelry for my belly button, and because of this it was healing sideways. they told me that the best decision would be to take it out and let it heal and then get a pierced again. now that my belly button is healing Ive noticed that there is some scarring. The customer service here was amazing and they were all very welcoming and nice but I am very upset that 2/3 of my piercings were messed up.

My daughter and I have both been pierced by Myra several times. Every time weve had a great experience. As for tattoos, I would definitely recommend Emily. These 2 ladies are great at what they do! We will definitely be back for more work and piercings..

Ive had the pleasure of getting a few tattoos here already. The entire staff here are artists and are very well qualified in their craft. They listen to the clients and are very good at delivering excellent tattoos. I got my recent dog portrait tattoo from Faechi, and my friend she got a dragon tattoo from Emily. We are both very satisfied with our experience, and Ive always been satisfied with our experience here at Sacred Art Tattoo. I would highly recommend this place for anyone serious about getting permanent body art. Stop in person, and speak to one of the many artists here.

I took two of my daughters there for basic ear lobe piercing. My younger daughter is autistic and they were so good with her. They took their time to help her feel comfortable.Whats more is that they treated my girls with respect. Instead of talking only to me they made sure each of my girls were heard. It was wonderful.

I always go see John Campbell. Hes an incredible artist and really cares about his clients. I have several tattoos done by him and theyre all amazing. He also spent 3 hours with me designing my back piece from scratch and I am absolutely in love. He really takes the time to customize the work to your personal preference and really gets to know you. He is an absolute pleasure to be around. And hes definitely my preferred artist. Go see him!

I have never written a review before but my experience here was so phenomenal I just had to for this shop!I went to sacred art to get my first tattoo and it was the best experience I could have asked for.My tattoo artist was Jibo and he transformed my tattoo idea into an incredible reality. Jibo was not only welcoming and professional, but also funny, helpful, and easy to talk to! I will definitely be going back to him to get my tattoos done in the future.If I could I would give this place 6/5 stars

I have never had a better experience at a tattoo shop. From the second I walked in it was a very friendly and quaint environment. I spent six hours with Jibo and he was the most genuine, down to earth guy Ive met in a shop. He was very nice and we talked pretty much the entire time in one fluid conversation. He genuinely cares about what he does and wants to make connections with people instead of getting money and getting you out of his chair. 10/10 will be going back soon

All three of my kids got pierced here in December 2022. Very knowledgeable and easy to communicate with staff. He put my kids at ease. A few months later, we had a little infection on the middle kids ear and went back in and got boat loads of helpful information. Everyone is healed and happy now. Highly recommend

Ash was AMAZING! Got my nose pierced and she made it way less painful than the last place I went to. She marked me and had me check the placement. Also barely bled after. She was really nice and gave me all the info I needed for post-piercing care. 10/10 recommend her for all your piercing needs!

I took my mom here for her first tattoo and Jibo was great. She came in with a drawing and an idea--and he made adjustments while drawing it up that looked great. We were walk-ins and he got us taken care of quickly. It being my moms first tattoo, he made the process seamless and made us feel so comfortable. My husband and I got matching tattoos for our two year anniversary 7/18/19. I went first and it didn’t turn out the best. I went back on 10/13/19 for it to be touched up and Jibo was absolutely amazing. My tattoo looks AMAZING. I was bummed about how it first came out even with constant care and now i absolutely love it. He made it even better. I barely felt the needles while he worked. I’m already thinking about having Jibo do more work. 5 stars for Jibo

I have been getting tattooed by Zach for the past 5 years and have never had a bad experience. He takes his time to understand my ideas and puts them together in a unique way!The shop is always clean (a must for a tattoo shop) and the rest of the people there are awesome.

Matt was awesome!!! We went through 5 or 6 different versions of our tattoo. We showed up only with an idea and he put exactly what we wanted to together. He was very patient and understood all of our requests. Hands down best experience Ive had at a shop!!

Got my ears pierced here! I’ve done that 3 others times and every other place my ears got infected. A year later still have them no issues. Great place, friendly, clean! Would definitely go back

My Fiancé and I came here on a Sunday, with no appointment. We were greeted by Lenny, who was warm, welcoming and friendly. He told us that there would be a short wait, which was no problem. Jibo was the tattoo artist who designed and applied our tattoos. He was extremely friendly and gentle. He was able to quickly design our ideas; they were exactly what we wanted. The price was fair for the excellent quality and service we received. Fantastic overall experience. Will defiantly return.

I wanted to post my review now seeing as I am halfway healed on my piercings and the piercer who helped me was awesome. She did it back in December. I think her name was Ashley. Gave me the proper aftercare sheet for my piercings; didnt really talk much, but I am not one to speak a lot either. But the experience was nice.Also another one receiving this review is Jibo. He was nothing short of amazing. Full of energy and quite fun to chat with, as once again I am not much to talk, but he was delightful to have small talk with. Had a wonderful experience getting my tattoo from him. He has a gentle touch to him when tattooing. Will definitely come back to him for another tattoo!

I checked out a few different studios trying to find the right place to get a custom tattoo. Got blown off and flaked by a few. When I walked into Sacred Art on 4th they were happy to talk to be about what I was looking for, show me a bunch of portfolios and make some recommendations. I was impressed by Jibo’s work and had a sit down with him that day to discuss what I was looking for. This dude has been tattooing for almost 20 years, so I was surprised when he got just as excited and enthusiastic as I was about doing this tattoo. He put together an incredible piece of art in a week and got to work. After 5 hours in the chair, the outline was done and I could not be happier. Really looking forward to going back for the next few sessions to get it finished.

Had my nipples repierced again. The piercer was very good and did them deeper on the nipple so they won’t grow out or tear out like I had done before. Definitely a great place to go and very reasonable pricing which is why I chose to go here.

John was professional and courteous, we were well taken care of, he gave us a great deal, and all four of us left pleased with our tattoos.

They have the name recognition but DO NOT USE THEM!Ash pierced my daughters tongue. Unfortunately she did it wrong. She angled it so badly that my daughter had to take it out after 2 days. As someone who has been around this world for over 20 years I know a bad piercing and this was definitely a BAD piercing. Ash was so worried about talking to her friend she paid no attention to what she was doing. $50 for a bad piercing that had to be taken right out. Plus, everyone is just rude here. Terribly rude. I hate to be one of those people, but when a college student would rather waste $50 then go back to have her piercing looked at because they will be mean to her again, that’s bad. There are way too many tattoo and piercing shops around to use one that is this bad.

Piercing employees always have attitude when I’ve gone. When I’ve asked questions they respond like it’s common knowledge, like is something I should already know. They also always seem rushed even when it’s damn near empty.😂😂😂 many of my friends have had similar experiences. As someone who works customer service, it’s not that hard to be nice;even on bad days. Do better

My friends and I came in super late but just wanted some small pieces done real fast and they were very nice about staying a little later to make sure they got everyone done. Two tattoo artist helped us out :) they were so friendly and just a very good environment to be in. It was a good experience and i would definitely check them out!

Staff members are so nice and the pricing is pretty fair and also the atmosphere is so welcoming that its almost comfortable getting a tattoo or a peircing everything is sterilized and i just had to get my first tattoo and peircings it was amazing!!

I got my helixes pierced here New Year’s Eve, and my piercer was Izzy. She was awesome!! Everything was done quick and safely. She also talked to me the entire time, and made sure that I was comfortable. I barely even felt the needle go through. My piercings are doing amazing and I will definitely be coming back. Amazing shop with a great atmosphere!

Jibo is awesome! My girlfriend and I both got tattoos from him a few days ago. They turned out amazing and he made sure that everything he did was exactly what we wanted. He showed us some new music and even bought us water and snacks! Every step of the way I could tell that he cared about his customers and his work. His artistic advice was also helpful when I had questions about my tattoo design. We had great conversations and he made us feel very comfortable. Overall, I loved the experience and the tattoos came out just how we wanted! The prices are very fair too. Definitely go here, and ask for Jibo if you can.

I got my three most recent tattoos on their and Ive gotten my septum, the side of my nose, and my lip done all there and been super satisfied. My most recent tattoo in honor of my dad who passed away February 2023

Matt is the artist to go to !! man gave me an unforgettable experience and anytime i asked for something he was happy to do it. If you need an amazing tattoo hes definitely the man !!

I go here all the time for piercings and I LOVE Ryan! He has been piercing me for more years than I can remember and he always makes me laugh and makes sure I’m comfortable and happy with my placement / piercing. He makes sure to give thorough after care instructions & has always been there to help me if anything ever went wrong with my piercing (I always swell a lot and sometimes need the jewelry swapped to something longer)I did recently go there for a tattoo & was kinda upset because I waited 4 hours to even get called back & the tattoo was very small and took the artist 20 minutes and I got charged $150. I thought it was extremely over priced and that was my first time getting tattooed there so I probably won’t ever get tattooed there again but it’s always my number one place to get pierced and Ryan is my guy!

I had the best experience getting my very bad, very deep amateur tattoo covered up by Jibo here. It barely even hurt! Got a solid black piece about the size of my palm as a coverup on my calf. It came out good. Very happy with it. No touchup required. Chooses good music to listen to. Has a nice clean and organized work station.

My family and I get all our piercings done here and we love it. Just have an issue or not an issue but bald man don’t know his name gave me unsolicited advice about piercing he told me he didn’t know anything about then He went on a tangent about me knowing my piercings (which I do know and have had for a while) and pretty much put me down and still continued to sell me the wrong jewelry after I told him what size I needed. Then when I went back inside to get the correct ones he continued to tell me I was wrong and the ones I would now be getting would not fit right but gave me the correct piercing. regardless Always listen to the customers especially if you don’t know about the piercing. Definitely recommend going to Luis or anyone else in the shop but everytime I go in and get help from the guy with no hair I seem to have an issue.

Was literally on a road trip and decided we wanted piercings at 9pm at night. Stopped at this shop because they are open late. They were awesome. We both got our piercings done in less than 30 minutes and the shop was really clean and well maintained. Great price too! 10/10 will stop back in if Im ever in Tucson. Thanks!

Went here for my first facial piercing, got my labret done. I stopped in first a few days before to ask questions and the gal that helped me was very nice and provided everything I needed to know for when I was ready to come in for the actual piercing. Love that they have the shop split so that the tattooing area and piercing area are completely separated. My piercer (wish Id asked his name!) Was super chill and did an amazing job. I was nervous before hand but he made it stress free and fun experience for me. Cant wait to go back for more!

The people here are great. Emily has done two of my tattoos and has done a phenomenal job! Getting ready for my third❤️ They aren’t boujee like other places that make you feel outta place. I recently took my kid for a piercing and they did it right away opposed to another place that scheduled for a few weeks out. Also, I love that they’ve been in Tucson for so long.

I came in with quite the project. I had a tattoo that needed to be covered, it was a mess. Jibo thoroughly explained the different ideas and options. We talked about thick and thin lines, shading, coloring, etc. He spent a solid hour drawing and redrawing on my foot what I wanted in order to make it work as a cover up. All of his time and effort with his attention to detail gave me exactly what I wanted. He took care of me and my tattoo and I will be forever grateful. Jibo will be my go to dude for all my tattoo needs and wants. He will be the one I recommend to anyone needing an artist and asking who did my ink as I proudly and with honor say Jibo. Thank you!

Emily is awesome!! We are from out of town, visited 2 years ago and had her do our tattoos, came back to visit and made sure to stop and have Emily do a few more! So detailed, precise, and make you feel comfortable and give you all her focus. Plus all other artists, piercers, and staff are super friendly. We had fun conversations with them all! Plus location is perfect.

When I went there I was super nervous to get my septum piercing done but the guy who pierced me was very gentle and kind and told me about his story about his first piercing. He was very relatable and made it very pain-free. I highly recommend this place especially for your septum it was only $45 in total which I think is an amazing deal.If I want to get another piercing I will definitely be going back to them!!

Got a tattoo 2 weeks ago here. My 13th tattoo and I have a full leg sleeve on my right leg so I know how to care for them. but first from this shop. I took care of it like I always do but somehow I got a severe infection and the tattoo got completely ruined and it cost me hundreds in antibiotics and multiple hospital er visits. Never go here. I posted the pictures in their photos.

Great place I got my Navel (belly button) pierced here and it was a great experience. Everything is very clean and calm. Their piercers are experienced and good at what they do, Im looking to get a sternum tattoo from here later on too. Just be mindful of parking this location is in the heart of down town Tucson but is so worth it 🖤❤

Russ Weber is the man!I had a huge tribal tat that he did a cover up on and he basically erased the past. This guy is has superior skills and was amazing to have with.

I had the best service today when getting my nose pierced!!I wish more then anything I could remember my piecers name (bald gentleman with a beard). He was sooo nice and very informative. He didn’t make me feel like my questions were stupid. The process was speedy, but not rushed at all.I will definitely be back and tell everyone about my positive experience!

John is the greatest tattoo artist ever! I love the work he does! He has great taste in music so the atmosphere is laid back while your getting work done, and the other artists in there Ive seen put out nice stuff also. I went in on a spur of the moment, wanting a snake tattoo on my inner calf. I didn’t wait that long, and when I got called back it was by Anthony Miranda. He was so professional, so dope, very interesting to talk to and very, very, very good at his job. The tattoo he gave me is absolutely the best piece I have on my body so far. He is absolutely amazing and the best tattoo artist I have ever worked with. I would absolutely recommend him to any and everyone one. Worth all the time and pain (lol) because it’s the sickest tattoo I have. Thanks dude!!! You’re a beast!!

I went in to get my nipples pierced maybe 2 weeks ago & had the BEST experience. I had gotten other people’s testimonies as far as pain & such , so I had kinda scared myself a bit. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a few people , making me feel very welcomed ! I had actually gotten there , and realized I forgot my ID ! When I got back everyone was still super welcoming ! During the process the young lady that performed the piercings was so sweet , outgoing & personable. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process , & my piercings were nearly painless because she did such a good job. 10/10 would recommend to anyone & everyone interested in getting a piercing ! I really don’t write reviews often , & I’m actually late on writing this but better late than never lol. (Speedway location)

My sister and I walked in without appointments, not only were they able to get us in but Jibo was extremely welcoming! It was so nice chatting with him and getting to know him, he was kind enough to share his candy when I started feeing bad, even ran home and got us popsicles. I have never felt more welcome in a tattoo shop, these people are just awesome. This was my second time going to 4th ave. With my daughter so this has the makings of a tradition. My artist was Kayden go to instagram to veiw his work. lines were clean and he know what he is doing I will leave it to my daughter to leave her review. I love the location of course and we were the last tattoo of the night .Kaydens time mamngement was on point but he wasnt going to sacrifice quality for it. Im not easily impressed but i was tonight this is an artist i will cone back to see. He listens and works with you so that we can both be satified with the result. I highly recommend him. Go in and ask for him. You wont be disappointed.

Took my daughter to pierce her nose and the artist was friendly and very knowledgeable. Pierced it quickly and painlessly. Two months later her piercing fell out in the middle of the night, I took her the next day after we struggled for hours trying to put it back ourselves, they got it back in quickly and were super friendly about it. Definitely would recommend this place.

Soo i took my baby girl today to get her ears pierced and let me tell you even tho she was a bit fussy Ashley was super patient with her very awesome, very reassuring, and will be returning to her for future piercings for sure so if you have lil ones that you wanna get there ears pierced really highly recommend Ashley

Went in to have my nose ring sized up from an 20 to an 18, she was wonderful. Very clean very professional and fast service if I was after another piercing I would absolutely go back and have her do it.

Anthony did the most beautiful job on my tattoo and with such clean lines and fine details as well. I look forward to coming back for much more. Im always terrified when receiving tattoos, however, tonight Joel made me feel extremely comfortable! His conversation put me at ease and his professionalism was astounding. I went in for my very first tattoo and I fortunately got an artist by the name of Gracie. She was so sweet and compatible with both making the design and tattooing it. Absolutely amazing staff, I am not from in town but I will 100% be coming back.

I came in with my friend today to get my first tattoo and I was lucky enough to get Jibo as my tattoo artist! He’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever met and made this experience wonderful and memorable. He made us feel welcome and checked on me multiple times to see how I was doing while getting tattooed. I saw Tyler for my first piercing Ive ever received (besides my ears). I have wanted a vch piercing for a very long time, and finally decided that it was time. I walked in very nervous. I was about to let a complete stranger between my legs with a needle. But Tyler was extremely calm and very professional. He was quick but did an AMAZING job. I felt very comfortable (as much as you can be with a sharp object between your legs), and was incredibly happy with the results. He gave me a sheet with all of the care instructions and told me exactly what to buy to keep it clean. It has healed SO well and Im so happy with it. Id definitely recommend this place for your next, or first, piercing!

Jibo has been doing my sleeve for over a year and he has been killin it! The work is amazing everytime and he puts a lot of time and effort into all his work. Hes also very precise with his line work. I couldnt recommend anyone else over him! If you come here you most definitely need to book an appointment with jibo!

I have had work done by 3 artists at this studio. Best Tattoo Shop EVER! would not trust my body to anyone else. many friends and family tattooed here. I should get a commission for all the people I send there... but seriously... great shop... just look at their portfolios... their shading and realism is incredible. My daughter and I went to get her a tongue piercing and Jasmine was AWESOME! She made my daughter feel good and less nervous, it was all about sanitation and safety,her friendly conversation made me feel good about my decision. I had unnamed piercer (I leave them unknown, bc you cant judge a piercer by 1 piercing) from another one of their locations not do too well on my tongue piercing and they redid my tongue piercing free of charge which was awesome. I felt like a valued customer by this company. Definitely plan on getting more metal from them.

Sad went in to get my daughter a tattoo I was there for 30mins and no one ask me if Ive been helped ,the (guy) told me just to wait for the next artist he was to busy talking to the young ladies never ask what I was getting NOTHING and HE told me to wait for next artist other people showed up and they were treated the same way WTH I have tattoos my self a sleeve and all my back so I do know about tattoos, SHE wanted her first tattoo from there because that where I got my first one and my other daughters also, So we just left NEVER GOING BACK WHAT HAPPENED NO CUSTOMER SERVICE 👎👎so I took her to another place I was greeted and asked what I was looking for they gave her the time of day!! Sorry I dont give bad reviews but is was not GOOD AT ALL

Jibo is a great artist and truly cares for his customers! He is so easy to get along with and he has a soft hand while tattooing you. He will talk you through what you want to do what is best for you and make sure the tattoo heals great. Further, when he’s done outlining your price he will start to use a topical anesthetic and you will hardly feel the shading at all!!! It makes it easier to sit still and I never was anxious to get it done. My tattoo was done so well and I followed the care instructions so it didn’t even scab over. Mine is already almost completely healed and it’s been just a week. He is my tattoo artist and I would recommend him to anyone!

It was a clean facility and we were able to be given tattoos as walk-ins. Justin was great the only issue we had was that from past experiences at other tattoo parlors I was given more information about how to care for our tattoos and also they were wrapped up. Sacred art didnt do such a good job on given information on how to care for the tattoo and also they didnt wrap them afterwards. But overall it was a great place and the tattoos we got were great and exactly what we wanted.

Jazmine is the BEST! Went to get my nipples pierced and was FREAKING OUT but she totally calmed me down & explained the process in a way that put me at ease. The piercings themselves were painless, quick, detailed, and have healed so well with her directions! She is amazing, and I highly recommend her for anyone who is looking to get pierced!

I came to see Jibo at Sacred Art based on a recommendation from a friend, and it did not disappoint. Jibo is an amazing artist who takes great care in making sure you get the piece you want. I loved that he took the time to explain everything. and he made sure I was very comfortable! My tattoo took two sessions, and he did it quickly but every part of the piece is flawless. His prices are great, too! Im planning on getting tattoos with my friends and were definitely coming back to see him.

Tommy was very professional, has an exquisite portfolio and a gentle hand. Customer service is spectacular, at one point during my visit he even was so kind to offer me some french toast, I politely declined but appreciated the offer. 10/10 would get poked by Tommy again.

Jibo is great! He was able to accommodate my dad, my sister and I in the same day. We communicated what we wanted over Instagram and he followed through. We all had a memorial done for my mom with her hand writing and he made it look just like her handwriting. Such a special tattoo and he did a great job- highly recommend!

Sacred Art is definitely the best shop in town. Ive had several piercings done here (Louis is INCREDIBLE) and Ive also had some tattoo work done here, two of which were from Emily and I have another coming up with Faechi. If youre going to get anything done or even if youre not quite sure what you want just come in and theyll take care of you. Theyre all very helpful and will work with you.

I really like this place. Jasmine was great. She pierced my septum. It wasnt as painful as I thought. I really liked how she didnt give me expectations of pain. Each person feels differently. Very professional and friendly. She did my sisters too and she cried a bit more than I did, so Jasmine sweetly gave her something to clean her makeup with but best of all, Jasmine used qtips to clean off my sisters makeup and made such she looked great before leaving.

Sacred Art Tattoo Studio is the best one I’ve been to and I’ve been all over the country in and out of tattoo shops. The head artist did a great job on all of our tattoos and was quick, but efficient. His lines are clean and he puts his heart into his work. I will definitely be going back!

First time coming to the shop. Got two piercings. I kept having to correct the piercer in where he was placing them. I was trying to match another lobe piercing and he just places where ever he felt like it. Not matching my other placement. Then proceeded to comment on how my other piercings were trashy. He did the most painful cartilage placement last, making it more uncomfortable. Over all Ryan gave off a know it all feeding his ego vibe. This was not for me.

I had an amazing experience with Jibo today. Great work, good conversation, and a gentle hand. I would highly recommend him, he made my tattoos pop and did a great cover-up as well. Customer service was excellent all around as well.

My wife and I have been looking for an artist to use to memorialize our marriage and other milestones in our relationship. I was impressed with the shop’s cleanliness. But, what stood out and what gained my trust was when another customer came in asking for a tattoo to be touched up, filled, or shaded that had been started at a different shop recently. The artist took the time to explain that there is an appropriate time that should be observed before shading or filling should be done. He took the time to explain the care of a tattoo, and also to ask him to come back later to talk about what the man wanted done, but that not waiting would produce an undesirable outcome and should be avoided. The guy was adamant that he wanted it done. The artist, did not relent. The cleanliness, the awesome art that was featured, and this restraint is a mark of true professionalism. We will be back!

I’ve gotten over 9 piercings at this place, the location on 4th avenue. All of my piercings have healed great and I had issues with only one of them, but those issues were suspected to happen before I even got the piercing, also had my second tattoo done here and my first one retouched by them as well. Their prices can sometimes be a little costly, but you’re assured great work to be done on you.

Ive had MANY piercings done at Sacred Art (4th Ave location) and literally almost all of them have been done by Ryan. If I know Ryan is at the shop, thats when youll catch me there! Ryan is very knowledgeable, experienced and always professional... I just recently had my rook pierced by him and I felt VERY little pain.. Its almost like he has the magic touch or something because all of the piercings hes done for me were minimally painful and they all healed great!

The studio is clean and run quite efficiently. After making an appointment for a consultation, I felt quite confident that getting my next tattoo would be much less time consuming than my past experiences. After talking with Jamie Lee, I am confident that she is definitely the artist I want to trust with my next tattoo.

Ive gotten a few pieces done at Sacred Art Tattoo and absolutely love them. Although the art is my own, Jibo Barrow has done a phenomenal job helping me bring these pieces to life. Its so important to find an artist that represents you well and understands you and the art you want. Jibo has definitely helped me feel more and more like the person Im supposed to be when he tattoos my art onto me. Even the slight modifications/suggestions hes made to some of my pieces have made them noticeably better! Everyone else in the shop is super friendly and easy going. I originally chose this shop because of the superb customer service they delivered over the phone, and the work of the artist Jibo really seemed to match the level of detail I was looking for in my tattoo. Upon meeting, Jibo was honest, professional, and obviously cared deeply for his art. He also gave me a VERY fair price. When I got the tattoo today, Jibo worked very hard to get exactly what I wanted and didn’t make me feel bad at all for being particular. I enjoyed good company in a good atmosphere, it was clean and they even tailored the music to my taste! I got my tongue pierced here a week ago. My bf got a tattoo. :)For the most part I love what I got. It was quick and only relatively painful for a moment as it occurred. The healing has been pretty easy too. My only small critique is a couple people have told me my piercing is slight off center. My 17 year old daughter and I went to Sacred Art today for piercing and tattoos. Ryan, on the piercing side was polite and knowledgeable. He took his time to be sure he lined up my daughter’s second ear piercings properly so both sides were even. Even though someone else was waiting, he didn’t rush. My daughter was amazed at how relatively painless the process was for her and felt Ryan really put her at ease.On the tattoo side, Zachary helped us. We were both getting our first tattoos. They were small basic designs, but Zachary spent The time to look at our photos and drawings. He offered his expertise on sizing, and drew up versions of them. They were exactly what we wanted. Faechy did my daughter’s tattoo. He was calm and professional. That put my daughter at ease. Zachary did mine. He was patient while I changed my mind on placement (I listened to his advice.) and put me at ease as he worked. Ultimately, we both absolutely love our tattoos and Sacred Art made it such a positive experience from beginning to end.

Shop manager very professional, courteous and apologetic. Found me sitting outside waiting for my 6pm appt at 6:30pm! Promptly turned the situation around, refunded my deposit +. Not one to focus on the negative side of people but at the shop manager was very respectful, super kind and understanding, he wasn’t there when I arrived on time; but was quick to accept responsibility and rectify the situation. Too bad I was looking forward my tattoo but looking back, maybe the tattooer was uninterested in my tattoo. I just wish Adam would have told me when we made my appt and he asked for a deposit; he could have just recommended some else.

Myself, my boyfriend and friend got tattoed at Sacred Art on 4th on Saturday. We had an absolutely phenomenal experience. Justin did my tattoo and it turned out beautifully. The line work is impeccable. Jibo did my boyfriends tattoo and my friends. They turned out amazing and the shading he did was top notch. In addition to the tattoos themselves, the people working in the shop we interacted with are awesome. From our artists to the man at the front desk (Lenny, I believe) everyone was totally cool and it made for a really great several hours. I cant recommend Sacred Art more highly and we will definitely be back again.

Alissa was able to pierce/fix my tongue ring after having someone put it in crooked the time before. Josh does okay work. But he didn’t do a finger tattoo well at all. He wouldn’t get back to me about a time to get that & another small one he did to get touched up.

Arrived at 3:30pm, a female informed me they except walk-ins and theres going to be two artist coming in, in twenty mins or more , told her I would wait . It is now 4:54 pm, one person (a tattooist)came in and didnt acknowledge me or asked if I was waiting on anyone. The shop had their copier machine down and two people were messing with it and I let them know I was waiting on getting a tattoo. Still no response as to what is going on.... sitting here patiently but still no-one.... I think it might be because Im a different color? Because one girl came in and directly asked for work to be done on her and he confirmed that he would wait for her. As For me, no acknowledgement, like Im invisible.5:06 pm finally one person asked Youre waiting for an artist right? I says yes, so Im going to wait awhile longer and see what the outcome will be.

First time here and it was amazing work! John does pretty awesome work with detail that rivals a photograph. Adam is crazy good at tattoos on fingers. Theres a pretty cute chick that does piercings that had me considering more holes in my body. Would definitely recommend this place!

I got a double nose pericing and the service was great, I dont remember the guys name but he was awesome. The only thing that I didnt like was they didnt give me options for my jewelry because they barley had any matching hoops. Not that big of a deal. Overall a great experience at a great price!

Had a nice lady do a tattoo for me back in 2011 at this studio and Ive been impressed with it ever since. The color hasnt faded; lines continue to be fresh as the first day I got inked. The artist stayed well past what are reasonable hours to do the piece. It was especially meaningful because its for a brother that passed away. Plan on coming back to this studio again someday.

I blew into town for the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show (from Tempe, about an hour-and-a-half drive) and decided to stop by and see if they could do a delicate Luna moth tattoo for me. I’d heard great things about them from friends. It was a Friday, and I expected not to get my wish. Not to worry! Every single person in the shop was helpful, friendly, and cool. Added bonus is that they are sticklers I’m not copying other tattoo designs, so you’ll get something uniquely yours. I was able to get my tattoo with only a tiny wait to set up and work the design.My artist, Jibo Barrow, did a tremendous job. He explained the process, made sure he knew what I wanted, and collaborated with me on the end result. My tattoo was on the inside of my forearm and wrist, a tender spot, but Jibo has a light touch. He is able to do delicate work and make it look vivid. The entire experience was great and I couldn’t be happier. It was nice to have a real, human conversation while getting something so important on my body. He’s a very talented artist and good human overall.Even though it’s a little distance from me, I’ll definitely be back for another tattoo. The final result is healing beautifully and has already earned great compliments. Sometimes, when you get a tattoo, it’s a gamble—you hope that what you want is going to be what you get. It’s a trust exercise. I would gladly trust this shop again, and that’s huge. Everyone here was nice but it smelt like a portapotty. Like the mop bucket water wasn’t switched out. But it’s a cool spot and my friend is very pleased with her piercing.

Clean shop with many artists, however our experience was very unpleasant. The tattoo artist was more interested in helping others than us and even told us so. We had simple requests but the artist could or would not accommodate. Also, it was clear the guy was high at the time. Definitely not someone I would recommend for a permanent design.

Got my lip pierced last night first time! You walk in and they welcome you in and was so nice Ill be going back again! & the guy who did was great told me everything his was gonna do step by step!

If I could give zero stars on customer service and professionalism, I would. Overall, was a clean place, but the guy that administered my tongue piercing was super unprofessional, rude and condescending. He did not tell me ANYTHING about the healing process or how to properly care for it or what to eat, I HAD TO ask about it and when I did he was super condescending in his response to all the questions. He has absolutely NO rapport! He was a guy in his later twenties, caucasian, with face and arm tattoos, short blondish hair, and big gauges in his ears, I did not catch his name, nor do I care to know it. Very disappointing, especially for a high risk piercing as a tongue piercing.

I took my 8 month old daughter in to get her ears pierced and they were AMAZING!!! She was so good with my daughter and very quick doing it. I definitely recommend for taking babies in to get their ears done!

Jibo was hands down one of the most cool people i have ever met, unlike with my first tattoo artist, he was very talkative, funny, and has some unbelievable artwork. His line work was amazing and with his mixture of shading, I couldnt ask for a better artist. Will be going to him from now on.

Walked in and was introduced to a Adam. The dude is crazy awesome and 1 1/2 hour later walked out with my awesome tattoo. The staff is super cool and the place is incredible. Adam, thank you brother. Loved the conversation and you are truly good dude.

My wife and I went to get our conch pierced. The artist who pierced them for us was professional, hygiene conscious and kept the area sterile. Neither of us have had an infection or any issues with the piercing. Will definitely be back if we need anything in the future.

The service was wonderful. First time with a piercing they were very patient and answered all questions.

Have gotten almost all my peircings there and I have 13 now, went today for a tongue peircing and was super nervous, they were all so nice and professional and gave me a discount since I waited for a little bit. Forever my peircings spot.

The staff is friendly but the quality of the jewelry is definitely questionable. I had a vertical labret done and as I was cleaning it (as instructed) later that same week I noticed the lower hole was a little red and seemed irritated. Upon closer inspection I noticed something was actually poking out of the bottom ball of the barbell. At first I thought it was a cotton fiber so I disinfected a pair of tweezers to try to get it out and discovered that it was actually a thin shard of metal that was caught in the threading. No wonder it was so irritated. I had to go to Straight to the Point to get a titanium barbell with internal threading instead and that quickly resolved all the irritation I was experiencing.

Walked in today just looking to get an idea on price for a tattoo. Met with Jibo talked a bit about what I wanted and a hour later I was in the chair getting a custom piece. I have to say out of my 7 tattoos this one is the best. The shop is super clean with a great vibe and Jibo is a outstanding artist with real love for his work. a steady and light hand made what would have been a long painful session fly by with little discomfort. Deffenitly the shop to go to in Tucson.(Update)I have been exclusively going to this shop for all my tattoo work for two years. I have been working with Jibo the whole time and he has done a beautiful sleeve for me. His work is always amazing and he is always a very engaging artist that sets his clients mind at easy. I have seen him work with many clients in the past two years and he always treats them like family and makes sure they are enjoying the experience and that it is a memorable one. He never fails to surpass everyones expectations and the quality of work is stellar. Needless to say this is the only shop in town i will go to and the only artist I work with now.

Jibo did a great job with my new tattoo. He discussed the design and placement with me beforehand making sure that I was good to go. He was very friendly and it didnt even hurt! My tattoo came out just like I wanted. Ill be going back to Jibo for my next tat!

I had my ears pierced and was expecting at least a little pain but it was less than getting my blood drawn. The only reason I give this 4 and not 5 stars is because I had to have a medical procedure and went in to get something to go in the holes while I did the procedure. The little glass filaments cost $10 a piece, something that should have cost a lot less, and they definitely cost a lot less to make. Other than that my experience here was spot on. I’ll be going back soon to get my nipples pierced. Thank you Jazmine!

My daughters who are 6 yrs old and 4 yrs old decided they will be tough enough to get their ears pierced. Louis Costello assisted the ear piercing with my 6 yr old and he did a amazing job. My daughter didnt cry at all. It was pretty awesome. My 4 yr old was pretty nervous so to make her feel more comfortable Jazmine Berrios came around to reassure and comfort her. Jazmine assisted the piercing with my 4 year old and she did a awesome job taking good care of her. She didnt cry as well. So, I decided to get my nose pierce. I had it pierced before and it hurted that time. But, when Louis did my nose pierce it didnt hurt at all. Highly recommend Sacred Art Tattoo for childrens piercing and if u want one as well.

Recently moved to Tucson from the Verde Valley and Sacred Art came highly recommended from my last tattoo artist in Jerome, AZ. The shop was clean and professional. The artist I met with, Jibo Barrow, is amazingly talented with a light touch that wont beat you to a pulp. I would highly recommend Sacred Art Tattoo to all my friends and family.

Went to get my tongue pierced on 3/8/19 at night before 10pm and there was a few people in getting piercings but the two ladies that were doing piercings rushing to get everyone done. So when it came time for mines the lady that did it seemed to just sort of rush through it. And at the end I felt she didnt go through aftercare instructions well. Didnt have time for questions cause by the time I was paying she was already onto the next individual. Fortunately Ive had my tongue pierced before so I remembered how to do aftercare. But now a couple days after the swelling has gone down I noticed the exit hole on bottom is way off from the center. AND I know better not to move my tongue anytime during a piercing. Soooo now I have to just let it heal and live with a off centered tongue piercing... *Shaking head*

I came to tucson for a vacation and decided I want a tattoo! And I ended up finding out about this place. My tattoo artist jibo was extremely nice and helpful and did an amazing job I could not be happier with it! I definitely recommend him!

I was having a problem getting my stud back into my nose piercing I came here and they were able to help me get it in so fast when I thought I might have to just let my nose close up. Will never be going to any other piercing shop after coming here.

They were able to get me and my GF in right away, they were reasonably priced, and the piercer was super professional. No issues at all, and I would go back in again.

I didn’t get my industrial piercing here, I went to “Straight to the Point”(which is a 10/10) but I had run into their shop to grab a new bar for my ear. There were 2 women in the piercing area, seemed type of tense but I would be too if I had to deal with the line. I bought a key designed bar for my ear, ended up being 25$, sure whatever. Skip to about a week and a half, my ear starts turning blue. Seems like a waste of money on my end, I’ll just keep buying from my original piercer. Wish your business luck❤️

Theyre a very clean and sterile tattoo shop with amazing artists who are award winning and between all the amazing talent, they can tattoo in any style. Seriously the artists are so talented. They have mass photos on their Facebook page and on their website. Its family owned and everyone is nice, talented and experts in their field. If an artist doesnt t feel comfortable with a specific tattoo, they will not do it and have another very talented artist do the tattoo to your satisfaction. They literally have an artist for any style tattoo. The artist that has been doing my work is Jibbo, hes great!! Oh and they are the. Best for piercing too. Took my mom to get a piercing. They gave her great advice and took good care of her. Even offered a business card for when she flew back home in case she needed help with her piecing. Clean shop, professional

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A PIRCINGI got a pircing here and it was done with surgical steel. I am allergic to knickle which is in surgical steel. they didnt ask me this before hand. I wasnt told the guys name or anything he gave me no card to call him or whatever with questions. the girl that did my friends pircing was amazing and I wish I would have gotten her instead. my pircing was oozing and I tried contacting the shop and I was told they were busy and my text message went un acknowledged. when I finally gave up and went to my usual shop to get it looked at they told me that the bar that was put in was too short and I was most likely having an allergic reaction. he had to switch out the bar for me so I had more room. the girl piecer is amazing. the guy? definitely not.the pircing itself was also crooked.

It was quite a great experience and the atmosphere was good but my tattoo is just not very good I waited for it to heal got it in November just to make sure it wasn’t my eyes or anything I waited this long but I just can’t deny the fact that this is just not very good and it was just line work
