OMGOODNESS. I have been blessed to have Ed Slocum do my cover up. He is amazing. So polite and welcoming, and professional. I felt extremely comfortable with him for meeting him for the first time. His patience was out of this world. He worked for 5 hours straight, and gave me the best tattoo possible. The shading and details will make you speechless. Got my first tattoo here from Ed when he was still over on east 9th and been going back ever since. Been getting my work done by David and he does an amazing job. The new location is amazing and happy for Ed and his family.

I reached out to schedule with a tattoo artist I had used before, Patrick. I was informed he was no longer tattooing which sucked but that wasnt their fault. They offered to set me up with a different artist. I asked if they would guarantee his work since he was going to touch up the tattoo he did for me for free. The lady who was in charge of text communication stated she would ask the owner and get back to me asap. If they had responded and said no I probably wouldnt have left a review. It seems like they either forgot about me or ghosted me as I have not heard anything in 10 days now which feels like way more than enough time to reach out and get back to me. I am disappointed in their customer service.***EDIT*** This review is staying up indefinitely. As everyone can see, instead of owning up and apologizing, the owner decided to try to correct my grammar. This shows an absolute disregard for respect. I honestly would have considered removing this if they had just been respectful and owned up to what happened.I have updated the incorrect usage of there/their.

I decided to get my first tattoo and a friend of mine recommended Patrick. I owe her a drink, because it was an amazing recommendation.When I walked in and asked for a brightly colored cartoon unicorn, I fully expected to be laughed out of the shop. But instead Patrick designed something better than I could have imagined and created an environment where I felt actively welcomed. The other artist and his client were also super welcoming and excited for me and my somewhat unorthodox request.I love my new tattoo and people who are much more knowledgeable than me on this topic have complemented the lines and the shading. I highly recommend Tattoo Artistry, and specifically Patrick.

David was great! My mom and I went in to get close-but-not-exactly matching tattoos and David’s designs really played into what we were imagining. He was so sweet and comforting and made sure to always ask if we were happy and comfortable and that we shouldn’t feel guilty to say if we wanted something changed. So great!

My daughter and I got similar tattoos from David Williams. He did an awesome job. We love them. He did exactly what we asked . Very cool guy . Would definitely recommend

I 100% recommend this tattoo shop! I went with Sequoya for a pretty big tattoo and she did great!! My tattoo looks amazing and she was very helpful when it came to times I needed to stop and take a break! All of the workers in this shop are amazing and super caring of their clients and even clients of others! Highly recommended!!! Will definitely go back again!

Ed is the amazing when it comes to ink. Details, layers and depth, he is the best! He has a light hand and can do anything. Ed is the only artist I will have work on me. If you want the best work done then see Ed. Worth the wait. Do not let anyone tattoo something forever unless it is Ed.

David was great.... had my first tattoo ever with him and it turned out great. ... good lines , very defined.. healed with ease... He was very good at putting me at ease, easy to converse with, listened to me regarding what i wanted... oh yeah... super light handed... i didnt feel a thing before i knew it he was done. Great pricing for the awesome quality of the work. ... Definitely going back for more.

Got my first tattoo done by Ed and could not be more thrilled with the results. Ed is definitely an artist and an expert. I put my complete trust in his suggestions and design and he created something that was perfect for me. He made me feel completely at ease and it was especially awesome to be able to see how genuinely delighted he was during the process. He is definitely someone who is passionate about his craft. The shop is clean and comfortable and everyone makes you feel welcome.

Having Ed Slocum do a 1/2 sleeve for me. He has amazing talent had the utmost integrity. Have had the pleasure of knowing Ed since he was a starving art student and worked for me. Good thing I have a restaurant and he survived me and the work. His detail is impeccable and I am extremely happy with his path on the ideas I gave him. Let him know what you want and trust the artist judgment. He will not disappoint! Hes a real talent to his craft. My Eagle has come to life and the Flag makes it pop! I’ve been getting tattooed here for about 4 years now. The talent in this shop is unbelievable. Their customer service is always on point. Every artist here has their own style and they put out such amazing work. I feel like you pay for exactly what you get, very fairly priced. 13 tattoos in this shop and counting! Very satisfied customer and I won’t be going to any other shop!
