Honestly so awesome. The Tattoo artist was so kind and made me feel so comfortable. And the work he did was truly amazing. And the price was very fair as well. This is my new tattoo place ❤️

I have several tattoos from many different artists and this is by far my favorite shop I have been to. The shop has such a calming atmosphere and the employees are so sweet. I gave them a call and by the next week my idea was brought to life. J was very calming through my process and made sure I was comfortable through the whole tattoo. I had an amazing experience and will be returning!

This was my first tattoo, and being someone who doesn’t like needles I was a little nervous, however J made this a great experience. He did both mine and my dad’s tattoo. He is very good with detail and he is fantastic with small letters which I hear isnt easy! I’d recommend J he did a 10/10 job. I’ll definitely be coming back to him.

I LOVE Josh! He is an amazing artist. I have had several tattoos done by him and they are awesome! I know I will have many, many more pieces to show off too! He’s helping me complete a full sleeve I’ve been working on and I am loving the process of working with him. He listens to all of my ideas and gives incredible advice then creates a beautiful, custom piece of art that I am thrilled to have on my body.Perks: He is a fine line genius. His shop is not a typical tattoo parlour, but more akin to a visit at a day spa. The atmosphere is inviting and very peaceful and welcoming.

Just got my first tattoo here last week! called on monday and J got me in on wednesday. fantastic atmosphere, and very in-depth & receptive consultation. i didn’t feel rushed at all - and felt super comfortable! getting another tattoo here next month because i’m so happy with his work!

I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Tattoo Lumina! I reached out to J via Instagram a week before my trip to Tucson. The first thing that struck me was how great his communication was in setting the appointment and getting my initial design thoughts. On the day of, I arrived at the studio and was pleasantly surprised! This is NOT your typical tattoo studio - it had such an upscale, boho-chic vibe. Beautifully styled and decorated, clean, and just really calming. J was very personal during the consultation and offered some of his own ideas and feedback based on my existing tattoos. After designing something from scratch, we got started and the next 3ish hours FLEW BY! What really stood out to me was that he did have a light touch (Im kind of a pain weenie!), he kept me informed of what he was doing throughout the process, he was always asking about my comfort (i.e. if I needed to stretch out, or take a short break). I thought his pricing was extremely reasonable for the time, effort, and quality that he delivered. Truly a hidden gem I cannot wait to make this a stop during my next visit to Tucson!

Took my daughter to get her 1st tattoo(s) done. From the moment we walked in we were treated like one of the family. I also got a tattoo and am in love with it. If you are looking for an amazing place to get a tattoo, look no further!

J and his wife were amazing. Very nice and easy to work with. The shop was great and the vibes were great. J also helped direct me to get exactly what I wanted done. Can’t wait for me next piece with him!

An absolutely unreal experience!!Josh is extremely welcoming and super down to earth. He’s very patient and works with you on the best design and placement you’re looking for. I’ve been to many tattoo shops but Josh’s vibe, personality and talent beats them all. He definitely makes you feel welcomed and he helps create and bring to life the vision of the tattoo you have in your mind.From pen to paper and needle to skin it’s a wicked experience and nothing beats leaving with a fresh thoughtfully done piece with the artist being just as excited about it as you are.Would definitely recommend tattoo Lumina for a chill experience with tons of talent!!

What a hidden gem! Rachel was awesome and J was an absolute professional and knows what hes doing. Ive gotten so many compliments on how clean the lines are on my tattoo. Will definitely return for new work.

J did such an amazing job on my fine-line tattoo. Its very delicate and he took his time to get it just perfectly! He also offered a ton of advice and answered all of my questions so patiently. 10/10 for this wonderful tattoo studio - I will be back for more! :)

This was an amazing experience. J was very patient, understanding, compassionate. I was very comfortable from simply inquiring about a tattoo all the way to him walking me out the door when we were finished. My tattoo is exactly what I invisioned, and what I asked for. I will be returning and will recommend him to others.

He, Josh is easy to talk to. He is a great conversationalist, you won’t feel uncomfortable. He does great work! The lion tattoo cover up he did for me turned out really good! I would highly recommend Josh at Tattoo lumina:)

I cannot recommend Tattoo Lumina highly enough. I came to Tattoo Lumina to get a piece to camouflage scars from a hip surgery. The events that led to this surgery were intense and painful and stretched over multiple years and I wanted a piece that would bring those events together into something beautiful around these scars that, to me, signify the end of those struggles. I gave Josh a few thoughts about what I hoped to see and his design was better than anything I could imagine and he was so thoughtful and compassionate with his approach. The tattoo session itself was fun and he has such a gentle hand - some parts I didnt even feel. I look forward to continuing to work with Josh and I absolutely recommend Tattoo Lumina.

Josh was just fantastic from beginning to end. I reached out to him and he immediately responded to me and was to give me the best tattoo Ive ever had. I cant even express how great my experience was and will definitely be going back for more ink. Thank you again!

Wow I went in for a couple small tattoos and can I say I didnt expect to find my permanent artist in Tucson. J was super cool and made me and my girlfriend feel extremely comfortable the atmosphere is very relaxing and inviting I definitely recommend here for your next tattoo.Overall score 10/10

I recently was at TattooLumina for my second session of my half sleeve. Not only is that work beautifully done but the owner/artist is amazing too. This place is always so clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is always relaxing and it’s so refreshing as it is hard for me to sit in the same spot for several hours in any situation. The entire experience made the time go by so fast and I would definitely recommend!

Took my daughter for a tattoo. Great customer service and the artist/owner is very nice. A bit over priced so I gave only a 4 star. But overall experience was good.

If i had to sum up J’s work in one word it would be “excellent”. His precision is unmatched and attention to detail is amazing. He truly cares about his clients and is very knowledgeable! Will be back; highly recommend!

Josh is my go-to from here on out! So glad I found him. We have a good 24 hours together and counting! Did a torso piece for me and I couldn’t be happier!!
