They are professional and friendly. They’re all great at what they do for sure! The atmosphere is super inviting. My most recent tattoo was done by Hunter and people keep stopping me to ask where I got it done. Highly recommend this shop for sure.

I recently visited Anchor & Rose Tattoo and had the pleasure of getting inked by Marceau. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.Marceau is an incredible artist. His light-handed technique made the process far more comfortable than I anticipated. He is also very friendly, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that put me at ease right away.One of the things I appreciated most about Marceau was his honesty regarding his expertise. He was upfront about the styles he excels in and those he might not be the best fit for, which is a level of transparency that I found refreshing and trustworthy.The quality of his work is outstanding, particularly his line work, which is clean and precise. In addition to his skill, his rates are very reasonable, offering great value for the level of artistry and care he provides.Overall, I highly recommend Marceau at Anchor & Rose Tattoo for anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and talented tattoo artist. Anchor & Rose is by far my favorite tattoo shop! Everyone is nice and friendly and funny. They work with you on everything and they are all amazing artist. Between my partner and I, almost everyone in the shop has worked on us and we have zero complaints!

The shop is clean and the quality is great yada yada yada but that’s not why I’m here today writing this review…I’m here today to tell you about the experience I’ve had with Danielle.Upon arrival I was greeted with dos besos, & a hug so warm that I actually started sweating.Her smile & general demeanor took my breath away… I seriously had to take TWO puffs of my emergency inhaler to settle myself after such a greeting.After a quick review of my ID, she had me sign a paper & we promptly started on our way to her booth to get started on this tattoo journey.She was stopped by some man wearing an American flag shirt and overalls who was grumbling about the Covid & pronoun section of the paper & explaining his disappointment for today’s youth. Although she didn’t agree she handled the situation with love & grace & a gentle smile.I COULD NOTTTTT!She then took me into her booth & set up her bed to my exact desires:Picture this..✨Dim lights, Egyptian cotton sheets, a bed warmer, memory foam pillows, the fan blowing on medium with two very loving hands tucking me into a cocoon like nest as she sung out loud melodies from the best artist on the planet… PAPA ROACH!✨I actually preferred her voice over his & I love that man!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This. Was. Incredible.Twenty minutes into my tattoo & I absolutely forgot where I was at because I literally had no pain… if anything it felt like a soft feathery tickle.I looked up and realized IT WAS A FEATHER THAT WAS TICKLING ME! Apparently she does this to calm the skin down.. boy did it work!She’s so brilliant!During one of our stretch breaks a woman came in asking if the shop was a dispensary & instead of shooing her away like I would have, she politely walked her to the dispensary next door.I thought that was extremely kind of her because HELLO 👋🏻 THERE ARE SIGNS EVERYWHERE THAT SAYS TATTOO!Like she really thought a bunch of potheads were in there doing art & selling that devils lettuce. 🚭NO THANK YOU!!!I also noticed that she had to answer the phone quite a bit & at one point I really think she helped a woman get through an entire breakup because she gave her the best advice via phone.. I wish I could be as sweet as she. I’d probably snap listening to the questions that are asked.“Can you tattoo an infinity sign?”“I want my favorite quote: live, laugh, love”“I’d like a very large scripture quote on my ribs & it’s my first tattoo”…. tisk tisk.I don’t like people.She however.. cool, calm, & collected.A ray of actual sunshine.A softness to this hardened world.A kind heart beating with the wind of these Oklahoma plains.An all around good time gal.A patriot if you will.I hope more people can be as gentle and loving as Danielle.Upon leaving the shop she asked if I wanted to learn her secret handshake and I did not oblige! It was better than I could’ve ever imagined, but it’s a secret so I won’t go into detail. 👏🏼Oh & incase you were wondering, my tattoos turned out great too.All this to say.. if you want a lady who tries her hardest to make everyone smile & beam with love & joy… she’s your girl!10/10 would recommend Danielle.xoxo

I’ve been following anchor and rose on Facebook and a few of the artists on Instagram for some time now. Today they posted they had time for walk ins and I had a day off, so I headed over. I called ahead to make sure they take card or are cash only and they take cash and card! I talked to Hunter who would be the one to do my tattoo and he was very nice. I filled out my paperwork and what stuck out to me was on the bottom of the page it asked preferred pronouns. I’ve never been asked that at a tattoo place and I feel really good I was asked today. As a member of the lgbtq+ that really makes me and others feel like this is a safe space. Like I said Hunter did my tattoo and I couldn’t be more pleased. I think I might have found my new go to ink place! I’ll be telling all my friends about anchor and rose

Austin is great! He was very considerate with what I wanted and made sure my experience was breezy. I will be coming back for more traditional style tattoos! Totally recommend 10/10.

Just a heads up, they do not allow another person to be with you while getting your tattoo. The owner Danielle said this was due to health department regulations. I just wish I would have known before booking. About every time she saw an inkling of fun being had she would swoop in and remind us of the health code. It made for a very different experience than the day my friend and I had been expecting. I have several other tattoos and have always had another person there to share the experience with, albeit those were not done in Oklahoma.That being said, I went ahead with the tattoo. Hunter gets all five stars. He was chill, warm, and welcoming. He worked with me to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. He allowed us to take a silly picture that we had been planning. Without him I would not had proceeded with the appointment. I’m very happy with my tattoo.If you are looking to go in solo to get a tattoo I can recommend this place. But if you view getting a tattoo as a social occasion, this spot is not for you.

Awesome experience! Danielle was our artist and we are sooo happy with her work and her demeanor! She made great recommendations to the pieces we wanted and truly made it our own. I also had a touch up done for a tattoo I didn’t like for 8 years… and now I’m ready to show it off. Overall I’m impressed by the owners of this shop and their staff, they all do great work, speaking from what we seen while we were there. The shop environment is very fun, inviting, professional, and clean. We will definitely be back for any future art!

I have had multiple tattoos done by multiple artists at this shop. Each of them have been so welcoming, friendly, and have amazing talent! The entire shop is so friendly and they have great conversations with each other and their clients. Most of my tattoos have been done by Hannah, who is extremely talented and personable. I cant recommend this shop enough.

They were very nice and helped us find a studio that had an opening.

This is absolutely the best shop Ive been to, every artist actually cares about you and your tattoo. The atmosphere in there is just awesome and makes an all day tattoo awesome! Danielle has been doing my sleeve/cover up and the fact that she puts her own touch and style on everything is perfect. She really cares about every piece and makes it perfect! Ive been going to Anchor and Rose for about 9 months, getting a sleeve done. I am so happy with the progress Hannah and I have made. She is an amazing artist.Everyone at the shop is super friendly. Id refer everyone I know looking for a tattoo over here!

Worst experience.. if you want a tattoo go somewhere else because youll never get scheduled here, just ghosted.I went into the shop after being in contact with one of the artists(Hunter, who always responded very promptly). He then suggested a different artist (Hannah)in the shop for what I wanted. We talked for around 15 minutes and she quoted me. She gave me her card and told me to email her to schedule a half day. That same day I decided when I wanted to book so I sent her an email and called her to let her know. She was very short with me on the phone saying she only deals with bookings through emails and that she would email me back on her down time from tattooing. Almost a week went by and I didnt hear from her so I followed up through email....still nothing. So some days later I called the shop and left a message. She never got back to me.If she didnt want to schedule me for x or y reason she couldve told me that to start with...this was incredibly unprofessional and will absolutely never recommend this shop. Luckily I found Jason at Royal Ink and he was incredible!I saw a review by some else that said Hannah also didnt respond for weeks or months at a time. This from anyone is just not acceptable. I understand people get busy or behind, but common courtesy is basically a requirement in any business to be successful...very disappointed in Hannah and this shop.

Recently just got my first tattoo here and had such a wonderful experience! Hunter was so patient and did such a fantastic job making my friend and I feel comfortable. He worked with our designs and made sure we both were completely happy with them. Absolutely love my tattoo and couldn’t be happier with the experience!

A couple months back I tried coming in on a Monday during the artists consult time according to their website. When I got to the shop, it was closed during their posted hours. Thinking someone may be tattooing solo in back I attempted to call, but no answer. I came back a couple of hours later and the same.Since things could pop up making the shop need to close for a day, I decided to try again. I submitted a consult request through their website. I got a response that reiterated the preferred consult hours of Monday between 1 and 7, asking if I could make that work. I responded to confirm and provided the time block I would be able to make it.This Monday just passed, I drove out and it was the same experience. The door was locked, noone would answer the phones. I waited another 20 minutes before giving up and leaving.

Best customer service, best Tatts and reasonable prices! Highly recommend!

Showed up Friday night wanting a fairly good sized piece. Marceau was able to work me in the next day with no issue. He was able to help me tweak my design with his many years of experience and expertise without coming across as pushy or dismissive. They truly value their customers. The facility is clean, orderly, and its clear that hygiene is just as important as the artwork itself. The staff is friendly, exceptional, and highly talented. I would have been comfortable with any of the artists. Its a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I was very happy with my piece, and I will most definitely be back for any future pieces! My experience at this place was very disappointing .I do not recommend, especially if its your first tattoo. I feel I was treated unfairly. Bad customer service. Since your asking for more explanation for bad customer service I will continue, no I didnt get a tattoo, but the way you talked to me was not cool, you made me feel like I had a chance. So I waited all day. If its not realistic for you to get to that many people in a day, then you need to communicate with people and let them know. It is very unfair of you to put that many people on your list knowing that you wont get to them. So if you would have gave me a direct answer that would have been more professional instead of me going back in there to ask what Time you would start your last tatoo you threw your hands up in the air and told me Not gonna happen didnt even apologize. Yeah tattoo artist said if you want to come back tomorrow I will be doing more which was also unprofessional because exactly how many tattoos is she going to do? Maybe 5? You think I was going to go back the next day to wait, for you basically tell me to **** off at the end of the day. You actually lost business from nit only me,but people I know say the wont ever go there because they are mad what happened to me thank you! Have a nice day!

I signed up for their Friday the 13th event and was 62nd in line. I wasnt able to get in on Friday, but they text me the next day and honored the promotion. The online queue made it super easy to track my place in line and saved me from having to waste an entire day waiting in the cold. Marceau was my artist and he did a great job and made me feel very comfortable for my first tattoo.

My husband and I were in town for our 10 year wedding anniversary and wanted to get a couple of tattoos. After stopping in another shop and not being treated well we decided to go to Anchor and Rose. They worked us in super quickly and were very professional the entire time. Hannah at the front desk was awesome with helping us get set up and making us feel welcome. Marceau was patient with helping us get the right sizes and placement for our tattoos and was incredible during the entire tattooing process. They are taking extra precautions with COVID and those extra measures made us feel safe. If you’re looking for somewhere relaxed and where you’ll feel comfortable getting a tattoo then I highly recommend Anchor and Rose. I guarantee my husband and I will be returning customers!

I had a very good experience at this shop. I found the atmosphere clean, professional, and friendly…… the prices are more than fair especially when you take into account the quality products the artists use. I would highly recommend.

Hunter did an amazing job on my tattoo! Super chill and talented dude, I’ll def be getting my next piece by him as well. It was exactly what I envisioned but better in ways I didn’t know I wanted. The price was good and my appointment was within 3 days for a piece that required a good bit of symmetry, so it wasn’t easy. Would absolutely recommend!

Danielle did an amazing job on my tattoo in memory of my husband... She took everything I wanted and created something beautiful. My piece looks like something my husband would have created. I am proud to have it on my arm.Danielle was fun to hang out with and made mine and my sisters experience one to remember. We both cant wait to go back and see her again!!

They are all just awesome! Danielle did my tattoos and she is amazing. I am in love with the work she did and would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting ink. I got to see some other tattoos done by other artists while I was there and they are all just awesome artists.

I got my first tattoo here by Hannah and she made it super comfortable. Unfortunately I’ve been in the process of booking with her for about 3 months and every time she gives me a date she’s open and I can book she stops responding for weeks at a time. I understand it’s busy but giving a date and time then not following up about it is not okay to me.

I came in for a feminine memorial tattoo for my kitty, and Danielle captured her perfectly. She was professional, informative, prompt and so kind. Experience was best one yet. The tattoo is incredible, I could not be happier and more in love with this masterpiece she did for me. Thank you so much!! Found the artist for all my future artwork.

Im going to start by saying that as far as I can tell, the quality of the art here is fantastic. This is precisely why I wanted to use this shop for a neotraditional piece I wanted to get.My issue is with getting in. I looked them up, perused their website and liked what I saw, so per the website I filled out their intake form. Double checked that everything was all filled out, and sent it off. Got a confirmation email the next day that it had been received. Now, the form states that they have seven business days to respond and if for some reason they dont get back to you, resubmit. Fine.Seven business days go by, and nothing. No texts, emails, calls, etc. Well maybe I got lost in the shuffle. So I resubmit, and get the exact same response the second time.I really wanted to work with this shop, but I dont really feel interested after following what their website said and getting nowhere. Doesnt make me confident in the rest of their processes.

Austin did my first real piece a year and a half ago. He does amazing work. Very laid back, but a professional and clean atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.

This was definitely an excellent tattoo shop. Very clean and comfortable interior. All the tattoo artists were friendly and also clean and their work was impeccable. We saw Marceau and he did a Death tarot card on my girlfriend and a dragon on me and they were both well beyond our lofty expectations! I highly recommend this place!

Marceau last minute took us as a walk-in when he couldve just gone home or chose not to take anymore for that day, but Im glad he stayed! Probably one of the best OK tattoo artist in the area (Marceau you know this joke) Hes raved about in reviews and it was just amazing that he had time to do a small piece on me and my friend. It was quick but not rushed and crazy knowledgeable not just about tattoos, human anatomy is his fallback. Price was great, planning to come back soon!!

After searching all of Tulsa I have hands down decided to get my first tattoo at Anchor & Rose. The entire staff is so incredibly friendly while staying completely professional. Their felicity is immaculate and they do AMAZING work. They truly care about their customers and treat them as family. I fully trust Marceaus abilities and cannot wait to receive his art!

I was a walk-in, with just an idea and a reference image, and Hannah was all for it! She was the only artist with walk-in availability! And I must say, along with being personable and very friendly, her art is fantastic! She is also an apprentice and wanted to make sure I was okay with that, which I appreciated very much even though all her previous work is impressive to say the least. She made multiple size options for me to choose from and was very adamant that we would move the stencil until I was 100% satisfied with it! I loved this shop, and I will definitely be going back !!

We came in as walk-ins with an idea. They showed us exactly what was in our heads. Only in town for the day, so we ended up with not enough time to complete them, but my friend and I were still so happy with their designs and attitudes. Definitely recommend.

My partner recently got tattooed by Caroline. She was such a gentle touch with them, treated them kindly and was tenative to their needs and artwork. The piece done was so emotional for my partner and Caroline did so phenomenal. We will be back to see her again!

I had Hunter do a small floral piece on my back and he absolutely rocked it. I had changed my mind earlier that morning on what exactly I was wanting and he was more than patient working with me and incredibly understanding. Hannah did a great job on my tattoo and fitting me in between clients. I was visiting from out of town. The shop didnt have availability when I originally called but kept in communication with me regarding times they could fit me in.

I am absolutely amazed by the detail and time these artists put into their art! They all take pride in their work and dont rush through anything. They treat their clients like family and are so caring of each individual who comes in. I would rate them high than 5 stars if I could!

Walked in the door and Immediately these guys were so rude. They started with one price and continuously kept increasing the amount. I also asked for a stencil and placement and he refused to draw it for me. They acted like it was a waste of their time. If your getting this for life you would think they might actually want to help you. Stir clear!

Austin did a wonderful job with both of our tattoos. Very nice staff. Always feel welcomed when I go to them.

I ask if they help me it took them a while for them to help me finally someone approach me they say can I help u. For them to say im.sorry we are full for two months . Everyone was full for two months I just not happy

I dont hate this place but i went in to try and get a consultation and was told to come back bc the artist i wanted wasnt there at the time. She eventually emailed me wanting pics of what i wanted and i sent her the pics but havent heard anything back even after several follow up emails.

I wish the website would have listed the 80$ minimum I feel like that would be good to let clients know ahead of time. The shop is very clean tho and Hannah at the front desk is especially very nice.

I had the pleasure of visiting Anchor & Rose for an appointment with Caroline Devine this summer. First thing I noticed was now clean the shop was when I was greeted and checked in. Everyone was extremely friendly and overall such a chill atmosphere I felt right at home for my ink session.

There isnt a nicer and most professional tattoo artist then the owner of Anchor and Rose. He goes above and beyond for his clients and has a true love of people and art.

Best place to get a tattoo! Got my first one here and came back the next day to get another! Very light handed and clean!!! Would recommend them 100%!

I wouldnt recommend getting pierced here. One of my piercings was done wrong. My doctor informed me of this monday. I thought my body was rejecting the jewelry but my doctor says that it was pierced in the wrong place. Now Im fighting an infection and had to have it drained.

Honestly terrible experience Ive been waiting 6 hours and was 4th in line for the $30 Halloween speacial and about 3 people who had gotten here after myself have somehow skipped ahead of me and my aunt.

If you like ink then you should have a professional tattoo artist. Ask for a veterans day and dont forget to tip!!!!
