Fantastic new shop in Downtown Tulsa! The owners have done a great job decorating the place with all sorts of Flash art that customers can choose from. Perfect for any American Traditional tattoos! They’ve got a great vibe in the store.Tim is an amazing artist. He’s done Japanese half sleeves on both my arms for me. And I couldn’t be happier with it. Great line work and coloring. I’ll always come back here!

Dire Wolf is one of the top tattoo shops in Tulsa. The artists are all incredibly talented, and offer a wide variety of tattoo styles for anyone coming in with ideas. They also have an incredible amount of flash all over the walls that they can put on anyone feeling spontaneous. The shop itself is incredibly clean and organized. I have been getting tattooed by Time for years, but this is the first time at his new shop. I love everything about this shop. It is exactly what Tulsa needs. I’ve gotten 2 pieces done from Tim now, and I’m definitely going back for more! First design I picked from one of the hundreds of flash sheets they’ve got up on the walls, and the second was done completely freehand, both pieces are phenomenal. I can only speak on the American traditional side of things for now, but what I can say… is that this is the shop to go to, and Tim is the man when it comes time to put ink on skin.Everyone there is always Super friendly, great music, amazing art, what more can you ask for?

My husband and I recently got tattooed by Tim Gillman. Look up his instagram!! I am THRILLED about this shop and I can’t say enough nice things about Tim. Tim has tattooed me before, but this was the first time at Dire Wolf. It’s a super clean shop with an old school traditional walk in style vibe. It’s welcoming and while they’re still in the new stages, will encourage walk ins which is how tattooing should be in my opinion. The atmosphere is about community, great stories, and great tattoos. One of the things that stands out to me about Tim is his versatility with style. Most artists will tell you they only do traditional or will only do black and grey, but Tim can truly do it all. The shop is located next to a parking garage so there are places to park. I can’t wait to get my next one!!!

Walk-ins - Tim does amazing work. I’ve gotten 5 pieces done by him. He spends a lot of time making sure you’re happy with what you’re getting. He does beautiful American traditional work.

Me and my family came in to get matching tattoos. We didn’t have the exact design picked out, but Tim took the time to draw different styles and printed several sizes. He took his time and was very pleasant and professional. The tattoo artists wanted to make sure we loved the tattoo but also that we got the right size for the area so it would hold up over time. I would highly recommend!!

Tim did an awesome job on a traditional dagger for me on a walk in appointment. Tim was super knowledgeable and the shop was extremely clean. The vibe was good and there are tons of great designs to choose from.

Tim is the best. Just got my third tattoo from him, and could not be more pleased. Not only does he do fantastic work, but he is also great to work with. If you have the chance stop by the shop. The Direwolf crew are building something really special. Highly recommend!

Tim never fails to provide beautiful shading, a comfortable tattoo environment, and is always willing to work with you on design and placement in order to keep the tattoos looking nice for a long time. Hes also great with people getting their first tattoo.

Been waiting for a tattoo shop to open in downtown Tulsa especially with a specialization in old school/ traditional & clean line style. Dire Wolf hits the mark on all of that. Ive been twice and would highly recommend. I work with Tim but every other artist in the shop also seems super chill and helpful.Great location, friendly vibes, clean, expert customer service and consulting on tattoo questions and suggestions. Icing on the cake is great music is always playing.

Tim’s the coolest guy. His traditional american never disappoints, his shop is clean and he has an amazing collection of art to choose from. He also specializes in Japanese style tattoos. Walk ins as well, you can’t go wrong going here, definitely a must stop location if you’re downtown.

Tim was the absolute best. We’re not from the area. Decided randomly we wanted a tattoo and walked into his shop not knowing they were about to close and had asked for something small.Tim and all the guys there didn’t hesitate, stayed late with us, and sent us home with some crazy great line work. Definitely will come back if I’m ever in the Tulsa area again. 10/10 to these guys.

We were in Tulsa and we’re getting ready to leave town when we saw Tim’s shop and my daughter really wanted a tattoo and he was kind enough to squeeze us in as a walk in before we had to leave town . He gave her a beautiful traditional pin up tattoo. He was very accommodating towards our schedule and did his best work even though he should have been home sleeping. We truly enjoyed the experience and if we ever get back to Tulsa we would love to work with him again. Highly recommend.

Tim and Charles are amazing. This shop has raised the bar as far as tattoo shops in Tulsa. This isnt a tattoo studio. There not artists that dabble in tattooing. This is a tattoo shop with skilled tattoo guys. They love there craft ,the love the history of there craft ,and they honor the pioneers who came before .Tim has a feather lite touch , a warm caring personality, simply put it is a pleasure to be tattoos here and by Tim. Dire Wolf Tattoo is an amazing shop. You have art and flash wall to wall and frame to frame filling the entire space, much of it has the air of a tattoo museum not just a shop. The artwork is great to just look at and get inspired. Every time I go in I see something that has me thinking about another piece and Im not even done with my current project(s). Every artist has an amazing selection and portfolio. Ive been getting tattooed by Tim Gilman every couple of months for the previous year and I cant say enough good things about the guy or the work. Nathaniel and Charles are great guys and amazing artists as well and I fully intend to get work from both of them done. The things Ive seen them working on is awesome. Definitely add all of them on Instagram and start digging through their catalogue. The entire space is clean and there are no steps skipped and no corners cut. A seriously welcome addition to downtown and a needed addition to Tulsa tattooing. If you want flash, classics or wholly original pieces, these artists have your back, or thigh, or bicep, you know, wherever.

Went in on Friday afternoon with a very specific, and special memorial tattoo in mind. Charles did an absolutely amazing job. I could not have chosen a better, or kinder artist. Charles is so down to earth and has such a sweet personality. I will be back when inspiration strikes again.
