I’ve been meaning to make a review for the longest but I’m a lazy bloke. All I have is amazing things to say about all the artist that work there, the atmosphere is awesome, and Tony’s work kicks ass! What started out as an underwater cave with manatees turned into a 2+ year sleeve and I enjoyed every step getting it done. Hope to come back and get some more work done eventually when I have the spare funds. If you plan on getting a tattoo in the Valdosta/lowndes county area or south ga north fl for that matter I highly recommend getting it here! You won’t ragrert it ;)

Olivia has done all my tattoos! She’s been my artist for 2 years now and I can say she’s never let me down! One of my last pieces have been partially freehand and she knocked it out of the park!! Great work at this shop and great prices! I recommend them to anyone.

I have lived in Valdosta for a few years now and I have never been so happy with a tattoo shop and their work. This is the shop that I will travel hours to come back to when I move out of state. The shop itself is very clean, comfortable, and organized. The artists themselves are so kind and definitely some of the top artists I’ve ever seen. I would recommend them to anyone for any type of tattoo, whether it’s lines or realistic. I have recommended several friends, and every single one of them have been more than pleased with their work! I have been going to Olivia since she first started tattooing and don’t think I will ever go to anyone else. Their prices are lower than what they should charge for their work, because it’s honestly worth so much more!

I will say I’ve used several different artist in the past, but Olivia knocks all of them out of the water. Her art work is amazing. Perfect detailing and gave me an awesome experience. Definitely enjoyed the 8 hours in the chair with her. I highly Recommend going to her if you want to have an amazing experience leaving with a beautiful art piece. No doubt the best artist in town. I got my tattoo (first) at 60 years old. And even though I was nervous at first (scared of needles) Tony made me feel really comfortable. I’ve been going to British Tony for tattoos since 2018 when he was subcontracting at a different shop. My wife and I both have named Tony our exclusive artist, we don’t want anyone else but him tattooing us! He is masterfully creative, insanely talented, and is not only deserving of owning his own shop but also deserving of your business. The team of creative artists that he and Olivia have assembled have made for one of the best tattooing atmospheres I’ve seen. You will never regret going to Acid Ink for your tattoo needs! My artist Tony was who did our tattoos a few months back and it was absolutely the best experience ever. My mom and I got matching tattoos for my son. Honestly I have no negative comments about any part of our experience. We drove an hour and half and will definitely be doing it again soon!

I recently had a full day session with Dylan. (Beginning of December.) The shop was clean, the entire staff of artists were kind and helpful. There was a private room since I had to unclothe from the waist down which helped protect not only my modesty, but Im sure the modesty of everyone else that walked in. Consulting with Dylan was super easy and it was a comfortable, professional experience. Overall, I cant wait to get more work done on this shop.

Updating my review: 01/02/2024Y’all are missing out if you aren’t getting art here. I’ve had perfectly good experiences at those other shops but nothing compares to Acid Ink. The atmosphere. The art. The dang social media management. Everyone is so down to earth and friendly and lowkey, even if you take the good personality out of it you’d still answer the “you up?” text if one of these humans needed some skin to stab because it’s so dang good.Olivia (Polecat) and Dylan have both but gorgeous art on me multiple times and I have besties who see the other artists here. I would walk in blindfolded and 100% trust that I would leave with art I’m proud to show off (actually, if yall want to blindfold someone and tattoo them lmk).Previous review:Had a wonderful experience with Olivia getting this little snake and rose tattoo a couple of years ago. I’ve had a few not so great experiences with male artists in the Valdosta area… to the point I was pretty convinced I would only get tattoos from female artists. However one of my close friends spoke very highly of Dylan at Acid Ink and all the work she had done by him was beautiful. I decided to book with him and it was a great experience. I felt listened to and respected. The overall vibe of the shop was incredibly clean, comfortable and welcoming. Acid Ink is THE BEST tattoo shop in the Valdosta area for several reasons. The shop is clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The artists are all extremely talented as well as friendly, professional, and very helpful. Braden has been doing a piece for me over the last couple of months and each time I go its truly a pleasure. I cannot recommend this place enough! I will NEVER go anywhere else! I’ve had two larger pieces done in the last two months by Polecat and Smitty J and they were absolutely the best artists I have ever worked with. Had a 1/4 sleeve with Dylan. I absolutely LOVE IT. I couldn’t be happier. He’s very sweet and so incredibly talented. The chairs are comfy, and all of the other artists are so nice and helpful. If you want a tattoo, you should totally go to acid ink.

I went during their apprenticeship deal days, and I got a tattoo from each apprentice. A little Saturn flash tattoo from Miranda and a linework scorpion from Al. They both were friendly, clean, and cool to be around. Loved the experience and will definitely be going back 🖤🖤

This is my first tattoo done by Olivia at Acid Ink. She had a special for palm sized anime tattoos. I came up with the design and she did the piece exactly how I wanted and it came out great. I would definitely get more work done by her. Very professional. This is a combo of the grief seed and soul gem of Homura from Madoka Magica Anime if you are curious about the design.

British Tony started my different Marine War theme sleeve. Solid start to it. Shop is relaxing and comfortable. Not your typical rock and rolling shop. My grandmother got a tattoo here . It was awesome because my grandmother was embarassed about her age or the artist wanting to do it since her skins loose . They did the tattoo and were so sweet to her made her feel so youthful :) not to mention the work was awesome and the atmosphere even better !

This place is amazing! Tony started on a sleeve for me and got alot of ink in 6hours! Really cool vibe very calm peaceful and a really cool guy to talk to! Not your typical rock and roll tattoo place with a bunch of head banging and craziness. I’m scheduling anothe appointment as soon as I get back from my cruise because last time I checked he was booked 2 months out and if that doesn’t say how good he is then idk what would.

I have received SEVERAL tattoos for Olivia and I can promise you that she is an artist first. She works with you to creat a custom tattoo that you will personally love. Both Tony and Olivia have wonderful personalities and I love how they both sort of just hang out with you while you’re getting your ink done. It’s more like a group of friends than anything else. If you want something amazing, custom, and high quality you NEED to come to their shop.

The moment I met Anthony, we clicked! Once he found out my name was Anthony as well, we never stopped smiling. He’s not only a great tattoo artist but is a great person. At the time, he was located at ink addiction and it was like 10 minutes to closing and he wasn’t finished yet. Tony, looked at me and said “even if I have to stay here until midnight to make this perfect, I will!” . If that isn’t an example of pure kindness, then I don’t know what is. Keep it up, Tony!

Honestly wish the score went above 5, 10/10. I had a botched tattoo from a different tattoo place, they were able to touch up the details I didnt like and made me love it again. I also have gotten a shoulder tattoo with them. I have another appointment booked as well as made appointments for my mom. Great Price with Great people!

First of all, I want to thank Olivia for allowing me to come in and get some work in with very short notice, as Im traveling through town for one night. This tattoo studio is more like a tattoo spa. Very chill and private, owned and operated only by a husband and wife. They are cash only but they have an ATM on site with a $4 fee for transactions. I spoke with Olivia about 5 hours before I was getting tattooed and she drew me up a couple of things that looked great. She didnt rush through the tattoo and was even very cool about some tweaks I wanted to make to her drawing. I got a traditional style tattoo, but she likes doing neotraditional and black and grey realistic pieces too. If youre in the valdosta area and want some work, check them out.

I decided to go visit Tony at Acid Ink after I saw a post about coverups, and man am I glad I went and saw him. Tony has transformed a piece I got almost 15 years ago at the age of 18 that I have hated for so long into something I really love. We are still working on my arm, I was so impressed I keep booking him to turn my upper arm coverup into a whole sleeve. I will update with pictures when it’s done.Outside of craftsmanship, the building is very clean inside, and while you’re getting tattooed you are in your own room. There are waters and snacks if you need them.
