Was on vacation with my two daughters and cousin. We came across this tattoo shop, walked in and were welcomed right away. Keith designed a great little tattoo for all of us and got all four of us done in no time, even though they were really busy. Great staff, super clean shop, and the whole atmosphere was awesome! Highly recommend, and will most likely go back when were in town again.

The lovely Talya gave me this wicked Cobra tattoo for a good price. Such a lovable snake she drew on me. Just look at his face. The colours came out vibrant yet tasteful.The shop was playing bangers which got me through the pain. It’s alright now 🎶 Babyyy it’s alright now 🎶Will return 100%

Came here for my first tattoo ever back in May and have been going back consistently. I love Zander’s work so much that i decided to let him tattoo my entire right leg for me. Everybody in the shop is extremely friendly, professional, and most importantly honest. They provide insight on ideas/designs and are also very welcoming. I recommend this shop to anybody that is serious about getting professional work at a reasonable price.

Fairly new to tattoos, came here once because of a recommendation and got something small. I ended up booking a much larger piece with Zander because of how wonderful everyone at the shop was! It’s a very clean and professional room and everyone there is friendly. I can be a bit of a shy person and the atmosphere here comes without the awkwardness of most places, made me feel welcome and worth the hours sitting in a booth.

Do not use Keith Dublin. His poor communication and service cost me my deposit of $100. I received only an iMessage ON the day he decided to have me come in. He should be using standard text messaging or simply calling the client a few days ahead of the sitting. I do not use iMessage. This was my first experience with a tattoo business, they all can’t be like this?

I had my first tattoo done at Wakefield Tattoo over two sessions with Taylor Martin (tay_tattoos on IG). I got a sentimental piece done of the Pt. Judith lighthouse on the front of my thigh. I have 14 tattoos and did not expect the thigh to hurt as much as it did, but Taylor was so sweet and did everything she could to make me comfortable. She kept me updated on her progress, allowed as many breaks as I needed, and applied Bactine numbing spray halfway through when we both took a lunch break. She also suggested numbing cream for the next session (since I only finished the outline in the first session). She made me feel so normal about needing to use numbing cream, and I know some artists don’t like it, so that made me know I chose a great artist. I did the outline and shading in the first session before needing to tap out, and came back 6 weeks later for the color. I’m so in love with the tattoo! It was a very reasonable price for such a large, detailed piece, and Taylor got it done in only 6 hours total! The shop was clean and all of the artists were friendly. I reached Taylor by DM on Instagram, so I think reaching out to individual artists will get you a better chance of a quick response, as I know some people haven’t had luck with calling (they don’t have a front desk person, so when everyone is tattooing, they can’t get the phone). I’ll definitely be back to Taylor, and hopefully get to go to the other artists in the shop as well! It is cash only, so be sure to bring cash with you. Im a client of Brianas @breezy_tattoos, and have rarely worked with someone who has such a passion for her craft. She is truly an amazing artist with a fantastic gift. I have several original pieces of hers including a full back piece that we worked on together, not to mention she has redone all my old tattoos adding her own personal touch to each making them better than they ever were to begin with. She has a tremendous eye for detail and a great deal of respect for her clients and their needs. The shop is also very clean and the entire staff are welcoming, friendly, and professional. Alex herself- is an amazing artist and person all around. She is nothing short of professional, clean, friendly, and welcoming. She has a true passion for tattooing as it is displayed in her beautiful work. She recently completely re-vamped a tattoo that I received from a different shop years ago and I grew to hate (the first two pictures). She made me love it again. I’ve been following Briana aka breezy on instagram for awhile now and wanting to get tattooed by her. My chance finally came with the Halloween flash she posted a few weeks ago. The tattoo I wanted was already taken but she came up with an even better tattoo for me. I love the design she made for me! I had great time and she did an excellent job! I will definitely be back for some more tattoos soon!!

I’ve known Zander for about 3 years now and have gotten my favorite work from him. Very professional and extremely talented crew he keeps. I’m always getting compliments on his work! I send all of my friends here and even the lady who flagged me down at a red light yesterday 🤘🏼 Can’t wait to get back in there soon.

I have had two tattoos done by Alexandra and one (small) one done by Zander, the shop owner. Ive also talked to the other artists and seen their work up close. They all give incredible attention to detail and discuss the design at length with you before starting. Between the 4 full time artists they can do pretty much any style you like and do it well. They also occasionally have guest artists come in. The shop is always clean and all the artists are friends so its always a nice vibe when youre there. They often do ladies nights or get what you get deals for discounted prices and accept walk-ins when they can. 110% recommend Wakefield Tattoo.

Got a rib tattoo here last summer, Brianna did not remember anything I had mentioned in the initial photo I had sent her, I also did not receive a single drawing prior to the appointment and she was either finishing up the design drawing or drew it last minute when I had come in for my appointment.

Zander was awesome/so kind, he made me feel so comfortable! It was only my second time being tattooed and it went so smoothly. The place is also super clean. Great customer service, 100% will be back again!:)

Wakefield tattoo is a very clean and friendly store. Brianna worked with me and she’s a great artist. She was able to free draw without even tracing. Also she is very creative and loves to share her ideas and honestly they are great. She worked on my sleeve and I definitely am coming back.

After getting tattoos for years, I’ve been just about everywhere. Wakefield Tattoo is a beautiful shop right on the main strip. I booked an appointment with Zander, the owner. He tattooed me with a beautiful custom design. If you like traditional, flash-style tattoos with vibrant color, look no further! His shop was clean, sterile and super professional with all sorts of old-school tattoo decor. My favorite feature was the 24-karat gold designs storefront windows. Excellent people, product and overall experience. I highly recommend!

I have gotten three tattoos so far from Briana (aka Breezy) two of which were completely custom. I have to say, Briana is one of the kindest and patient tattoo artists Ive had the pleasure of working with. She instantly made me feel so comfortable from the moment I sat down in her chair. She talked through the design with me until we finalized one we both liked. She was efficient and her work is always beautiful. Also worth mentioning is the fact that the entire shop is clean and professional. I will definitely be returning to Briana in the nearby future to get more work done!

Wakefield tattoo is fantastic. Excellent service, super accommodating. Very clean and everything is very professional. Briana has done a handful of my tattoos and she excellent. Her line work is spot on. I’ve only had black and gray and it’s amazing, hoping to add color in the future. Although Briana is my artist, you should follow the others on instagram; they all have their specialties but whomever you get is worth any amount you decide to spend. This is my #1 go to spot.

I worked with Alexandra over Instagram over a week or so to design two tattoos. One for a tribute to my dad, the other an outline of my dog. She nailed both of them! Had them done the same appointment. She was super sweet and professional. The shop is very clean and the other artists there were friendly as well. I highly recommend!! Thank you again. Super thankful to have been accepted as a walk-in today. (Some times you gotta strike when the iron is hot, right?!) Everyone was super helpful, enthusiastic, professional, and kind. I only got a small tattoo (an impulse-driven decision) but I got their attention and consideration as if I was spending a lot more money on a more substantial piece. Truly this shop is top notch in terms of professionalism and providing people-driven artwork. Again: super grateful to have been able to be tattooed today, but also really grateful to have the shop as part of the Wakefield downtown community at large. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I’ve been a customer at Wakefield tattoo for over a year now and I am ALWAYS impressed with the all around quality of this shop. My tattoos are always above my expectation! People stop my daily and compliment the quality of my tattoos. My tattoo artist listens to my request and gives me a professional, experienced opinion having my best interest in mind. Went in the get a tattoo from Alex and she noticed that the area I wanted tattooed wasnt going to fit the design I wanted perfectly. She literally sat down with me for atleast 30-45 minutes trying to figure out what other designs I would like and showed me all the books she had and made sure I was really happy with what we came up with. It honestly meant so much to me that she took time out of her day to do that for me. And she was great to talk to. So funny. So sweet. And an incredible artist. So happy going there and going to Alex, she is amazing!

I went to Wakefield tattoo to start the beginning of my sleeve with Brianna Mikaelian. She set up my consultation and I started to explain to her what I was wanting to add and she was super understanding and helped me walk through my ideas! Then FINALLY!!! The day arrived! Time for the needle! Lol the design she came up with, I was completely blown away! It was so amazing to see the vision I had seen in my head on a stencil! Then the placement on my arm, I then got more excited! Her skills are super killer she doesn’t dig into your skin and she always makes sure your doing okay with different sections of the tattoo. We had to do a couple sessions but I’m so over the moon about my tattoo I get the best compliments! And let’s not forget the rest of the staff was super friendly and we’re very funny! I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Alex for the second time now! She took my design and transformed it into a gorgeous tattoo that Im proud to have on me forever. I contacted Zane on Instagram as someone I follow posted him and I love this work so I followed and he does tattoo auctions. Mind you this was 2 years ago now but it still upsets me to this day!! I speak about this often when we talk about how flakey and rude tattoo artists can be. I sent him a DM about a design I liked, it was available so we scheduled a day. I have the proof still! The day we scheduled June 6th, I show up at the shop, extremely awkward everyone looked at me but no one acknowledged me. Probably 2 painful minutes went by a man asked if he could help. I explained I was there for appointment with Zane. He was tattooing someone so this man had me wait till Zane approached me telling me he has no appointment today for me and it was the next day the 7th. I told him no I have this day that I showed up. Extremely awkward he messed up his days so he asked me to send him a DM as he gets a lot a day so I did a simple peace ✌️ . He comes up with whatever excuse as to why he messed up but i never got my deposit back or got -tattoo!!! Mind you this was during 2020 so he stole from me by never refunding or attempt to reschedule after his mistake. Don’t waste your time reaching out to this company, unprofessional and shady owner. Stealing from young women during a pandemic, should be embarrassed of yourself. Proof for your view pleasure!

Drew was great he took the time to go over details of tattoo and was super nice and professional. I was nervous about it being painful and he was reassuring and checked how I was doing while he was tattooing me. Everyone in there seemed super nice! Place was really clean I would highly recommend Wakefield tattoo!!!!

Wakefield tattoo is one of the finest tattoo studios in RI. The artists here are all super friendly and masters at their craft. I have gotten several amazing tattoos here and have seen countless others walk out ecstatic with their new ink. I emailed them to inquire about requesting their help regarding a cover up, which should have been fairly easy as it’s tiny Roman numerals. Instead of working with me, or wanting my business at all, they suggested I get it lasered off instead. Excuse me? Don’t you want money? Don’t you want to make your potential client happy and work WITH them towards something that WOULD work? I have taken my business elsewhere. I’m discouraged that they didn’t want to help me, or take my money. Seems unprofessional to me.
